It all started as a mild correction during their workout session in the garden, and then, it escalated to a full-blown quarrel between Mike and Omashola in the Pepper Dem House.

Correction Gone Wrong

During their workout, Omashola pointed out to Seyi that he was not doing the workout right. This comment was ignored by Seyi who continued his routine. Later on, the trainer asked them to touch their calves but Omashola touched his ankles instead. This error by Omashola made Seyi tell Omashola that he didn’t even know where his calf is located.

The back and forth between these two didn’t go down well with Mike as he told both of them to stop bickering and face the workout. Omashola however, wasn’t going to have Mike play the peacemaker so he told him to shut up. Mike retorted by calling Omashola a groupie and with these statements, the boxing ring was swept clean for a fight to begin.

The Face-Off

The quarrel started properly in the locker room with Omashola blaming Mike for starting the whole issue. He kept yelling but Mike told him to face him like a man. Mike wasn’t done yet as he compared Omashola to a 15-year-old girl on heat.

As if remembering that this was a week of happiness, Omashola calmed down and reminded himself that happiness should reign. Well, we guess having a movie treat together does not guarantee a happily ever after.

A group of dancers in Lagos state on Tuesday September 23, staged a protest following the death of their friend, 22 year old Nene Chineyerem, a model and graphic artist, who was stabbed to death by miscreants around Adeite street Sawmill in Ifako on September 10th.

According to the protesting dancers, Nene was on his way home at about 10pm when he was accosted by the miscreants who stabbed him in the neck while attempting to steal his phone.

According to the dancers, Nene held his bleeding neck and was walking around appealing to residents of the area to rush him to the hospital. No one was willing to help him as they feared doing so might land them into trouble.

He died right on the street from profuse bleeding.

22 yrs old graphic artist and Model Chineyerem Nene was stabbed on the neck somewhere around Adeite Street Sawmill, Ifako last Tuesday when some miscreants were trying to steal his phone, he died as a result of the incessant bleeding. During his candle night walk (Tuesday Night) in bariga, I learnt he didn't die on the spot, he actually ran away from the boys and was seeking help from people living around that area from Adeite Street, to Williams street, up to the junction of RCCG Maranatha Church.

(Where he eventually gave up) No one helped, they were scared! I was so furious when I learnt about the incident so myself and a few dancers from Oworo,sawmill and bariga staged a performance protest from the Spot where Nene to down to all the streets he ran for help.

Like we said to the residents of the area where this avoidable incident took place, everyone was a part of Nene's death! Not just D guys who stabbed him, but also everyone who closed your shop and their houses when they saw the Young chap seeking for help, they all murdered him!

Man intentionally drives van into ex-wife’s house, causing fire

42-year-old Anthony Imafidon has been arrested for intentionally crashing a van into the Staten Island building where his ex-wife, Bisi, lives in the U.S.

The incident happened just before 11 p.m. on Sunday and it was captured on video. Police believe he had an incendiary device in the van, which sparked the fire.

Fortunately, his ex-wife and children — a 15-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy -— and others inside the building were not hurt. Officers said they don’t know what prompted the incident.

Imafidon, who holds a first degree in Economics from Bayero University, Kano and a second in Psychology from the Staten Island College, was taken to Richmond University Medical Center and later released to police custody.

The suspect, who is the owner of Pride African and Caribbean Store on Staten Island, has been charged with attempted murder, attempted assault, arson, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and child endangerment.

Decomposing body of a Senior Officer in the Nigerian Navy and Commandant of Command Secondary School of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Jaji, has been found in a well in a village close to the Jaji military cantonment, Kaduna State.

The Officer identified as Commander Oluwayemisi Ogundana with service number NN/ 2367, was declared missing last Friday.

She is however suspected to have been murdered by some known persons, including a staff of the college she presided over.

Though, efforts to reach the spokesman of AFCSC, Major Umar proved abbortive, The Nation gathered that, two suspects, including a teacher at the Command Secondary School, Jaji and one other have already been arrested in connection to her murder.

A source in Jaji told our Correspondent that, when the military officer was not seen, efforts were made to reach her via her telephone but it was discovered that the phone was left in her room which was locked.

According to the source, “the door to her room was forced open because the phone was ringing inside the sitting room and efforts to reach her other numbers, failed”.

It was further learnt that blood stains were observed on her beddings and clothes as well as on the floor from the bedroom to the bathroom. Her vehicle, a Toyota SUV was also missing.

It was learnt that authorities of the military in Jaji kept some of her immediate staff and family members under close observation which finally paid off when two persons were arrested in Zaria while trying to dispose of her car.

Upon interrogation, they confessed to participating in the gruesome murder of the senior military officer and subsequently led the investigators to Agwanloyo by the railway inside an abondoned shallow well near the Deeper life Church in Jaji cantonment.

It was learnt that the corpse of the murdered Naval officer was dismembered and put in a big sack before being dumped in the shallow well.

The deceased was married with three kids, who are in their Lagos residence with their father.

Housemates Mercy, Frodd, Diane and Cindy have been out up for fake eviction.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that, unknown to the housemates, there will be no eviction this week, making their nominations invalid.

The ten remaining housemates were called into the diary room for the usual nomination process, with each of them nominating two housemates each.

Ike nominated Frodd and Cindy, who nominated Diane and Ike. Omashola nominated Mercy and Diane, who nominated Mike and Omashola.

Mike nominated Diane and Mercy while Tacha nominated Cindy and Mike, Seyi nominated Ike and Mercy while Frodd nominated Cindy and Mercy.

On her part, Mercy nominated Frodd and Omashola, and Elozonam nominated Frodd and Tacha.

While the nominations were rolled out, Frodd seemed upset to have been nominated again. On the flip side, Tacha was relieved to escape nomination.

NAN reports that the fake eviction tension was further fueled by the lack of a Veto power of chance holder for a save and replace.

For the remaining part of the week, housemates will pick photographs from a red box. The housemate with a complete picture would hold the ultimate veto power.

The police on Monday arraigned a fake herbalist, Muhammed Bako in an Upper Area Court in Mpape, Abuja for allegedly cheating a housewife of N13 million.

Bako, whose address was not given, is charged with criminal conspiracy, extortion and criminal intimidation.

The Prosecution Counsel, Mr A.O Olaofe, told the court that the case was reported to the National Intelligence Agency, Abuja by the complainant, Mrs Magret Igbinobaro.

Olaofe told the court that on April 25, the defendant, who is also a driver, picked up the complainant in his car from Minna, Niger state to Abuja.

The prosecutor said that the defendant in the course of the trip deceived Igbinobaro into believing that was a traditional medicine man capable of curing all her alleged ailments.

Olaofe alleged that during investigation the defendant confessed that he hynotised Igninobaro into paying N13 million into a Guaranty trust bank account number 0259536443 belonging to his wife’s niece to pay.

He said that during investigation, the defendant confessed to have used the money to build a house .

Olaofe alleged that the defendant extorted the complainant and put fear of untimely death on her if she reports to anyone.

This, he said continued until the defendant was arrested.

The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 97, 293 and 397 (b) of the Penal code.

Bako, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Presiding Judge, Hassan Muhammad, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N30 million with two reasonable and reliable sureties.

Muhammed adjourned the case until Oct. 4, for hearing.
