Singer Davido was arrested in the early hours of today after stabbing one Michael aka Dream Chaser, who is the younger brother of Abu Abel, the CEO of Obimzy Records in Dubai.

According to multiple reports, the incident happened inside an elevator at Crab Market, Emirates Financial Towers, Dubai.

It was gathered that tension rose when the victim was trying to interact with an allegedly tipsy Davido inside the elevator, but he took it wrongly and broke a bottle on his head. .

The cops were subsequently called in and the singer was whisked away around 7am, while the victim was rushed to the Kuwait hospital, Deira. Davido’s manager, Asa, missed his scheduled flight due to the incident. .

The singer’s social media pages have since been taken over by his management so has to keep it active while the issue is being resolved. It remains to be seen whether the victim will be pressing charges or allow the cops free Davido.

Senator Dino Melaye has come out to announce the death of his nephew, Olorunjuwon after sustaining gunshot wounds at his polling unit on Saturday.

Dino Melaye announced this on his Twitter page Sunday morning saying:

“My nephew Olorunjuwon who was shot at my pooling unit yesterday died this morning. My brother your death is a Supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of our people. Rest in peace aburo… So sad.”

The lady whose car got scratched by actress Kate Henshaw has responded to her Twitter apology.

The actress had taken to Twitter to issue an apology after scratching the car with the hope that the lady will come across it.

Kate Hanshaw wrote:

“True confession:
A lady gave me room on the road this afternoon by Lekki one r/about. There wasn’t enough room to manoeuvre and I ended up scrapping her car… she was a bit upset but she just drove off. I feel terrible. Wish I could apologise properly and make amends..”

Fortunately, the lady whose car got scratched found the message on social media. In reaction, she tweeted:

“@HenshawKate Gd morning Kate I am the lady you scratched her car. I am not upset, it could have happened to anyone including me. I have fixed the car it’s all good. I was actually on my way yesterday to see my mum. One love and God bless. Chioma”.

Excitedly, Kate Hanshaw tweeted a screenshot of her post with the caption:

Police operatives from Intelligence Rapid Team, Ikeja, Lagos, have arrested two ladies namely Bassey Rassinie, 28 and Shola Rofiya, 42, for allegedly stealing over N30m worth of gold jewelries belonging to one Mubarak Awopeju.

Source reports that the incident happened at Adekoya Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, where the owner resides.
The Police did not state the relationship between the suspects and the complainant for the suspects to have gained access where he kept the items and escaped.

Rather, the Police alleged that Rassine and Shola conspired and stole gold jewelries and wrist watch belonging to the complainant.
When the complainant realised that the items were missing, he reported to the Police. The suspects were trailed, eventually arrested and detained for interrogation.
After interrogation, the Police found him culpable and later charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for conspiracy and stealing.
They pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, then asked the Court to fix a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Sule-Amzat, granted them bail in the sum of N10m with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 2nd December, 2019.
