A pastor with a new generation church, the Royal Prince Prophetic Ministry, Chukwuemeka Eze, has been arrested by the Enugu State Police Command for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Miss Ogechukwu Ogbodo.
Eze allegedly killed his girlfriend for refusing to buy a tricycle for him.
Southern City News gathered that the suspect had been in a relationship with the deceased, who hailed from Amagunze in the Nkanu-East Local Government Area of the state for five years.
Ogechukwu, who was residing at the Railway Quarter, was a recharge card sales agent until her death.
She was said to have returned home on July 15, 2019, with over N2m, which she intended to deposit in the bank the next day.
However, the suspect, after discovering that the deceased had gone home with a huge amount of money, paid her a visit and allegedly killed her.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the development and said Eze was arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Amaraizu stated that the suspect had after killing his girlfriend, ransacked her house and took the money and title documents to the deceased’s landed property.
The PPRO said Eze immediately used the money to procure musical instruments and carried out a total renovation of the church.
He added that the suspect had confessed to the crime.
Eze, according to the police spokesman, killed his girlfriend because she refused to purchase a tricycle for him though she had been buying tricycles for people in the community on hire purchase.
The PPRO added that the suspect was already helping the police in their investigation and would soon be charged. See more here; https://gistmore.com/pastor-kills-girlfriend-for-refusing-to-buy-him-tricycle-in-enugu

Crime › Woman Narrates In Court How School Bus Driver Defiled Her 2-year-old Daughter by GistMore9(op): 10:16am On Oct 01, 2019 |
A mother (name withheld) yesterday informed an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court that her two-year-old daughter (name withheld) was allegedly defiled by Afeez Balogun, the 27-year-old bus driver of her school in Lagos.
Mother of two who was the first witness for the prosecution in her testimony revealed during Balogun’s trial for allegedly defiling the child in the school premises.
Led in evidence by Mrs Fehinti Ogbemudia, the prosecution counsel, the mother said that the defendant was a school driver at her daughter’s former school.
She stated before the proceeding Judge Justice Abiola Soladoye that the alleged defilement occurred in 2018 when the complainant was two-years-old.
“He (Balogun) was the bus driver for my daughter’s former school called Holbrook Schools located at Gbagada. My daughter is currently three-years and 11-months old and she is currently in Nursery one.
“On July 5, 2018, my daughter woke up to ease herself at around 12.30a.m. and while she was easing herself, she was crying and her terminology then was that ‘my bum-bum is paining me’.
“I tried to find out what the problem was. I took her to the bedroom and my husband and I asked if anyone had hurt her bum-bum and she said yes.”
She told the court that she went to the school with her daughter and informed the school administrators about the development.
Her words: “At the school they brought all the male staff and she (the complainant) was asked to identify who had hurt her and she identified Mr. Afeez Balogun by running straight to him. That was the first time she identified him.”
The witness told the court that morning after leaving the school, she went to the Office of the Public Defender, OPD, with her daughter where an officer was assigned to their case.
She said her daughter was asked for the second time at the OPD who had defiled her and she again identified the defendant.
The mother alleged that they were referred further from OPD to the Mirabel Center, a sexual assault referral center, located at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
“At Mirabel Center, some doctors examined her and they identified bruises and they said there were signs of forced entry in her private part,”. She said.
The mother also told the court that at the Gender Unit of the Ikeja Command of the Nigeria Police Force her daughter for the third time, positively identified Balogun in a police lineup.
She said that the defendant was also taken to Pedro Police Station where another police lineup was conducted.
“At Pedro Police Station she again pointed at Mr Afeez Balogun making it four times that she identified him as the person who hurt her. That was when he was arrested,” the mother said.
While being cross-examined by Mr Quddus Mumuni, the defence counsel, the mother informed the court that the medical tests conducted on her daughter had revealed that there were fresh and old bruises on her daughter’s private part.
She also said when she was questioning her daughter about who allegedly defiled her, her daughter due to her young age, had referred to the defendant as Mr Wale, another teacher at the school.
“The defendant is not Mr Wale but she referred to him as Mr Wale several times. I also did not ask my daughter questions at the various identity parades,” she said. According the prosecution, the defendant committed the alleged offence in July 2018 at a Gbagada, Lagos, school.
“Balogun defiled the complainant who was two-years-old at the time by having unlawful sexual intercourse with her,” Ogbemudia said.
According to her, the offence contravenes Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 which recommends a life sentence for any individual found guilty of defiling a minor.
Justice Abiola Soladoye adjourned the case till November 20 for continuation of the cross-examination of the witness while the defendant remained in prison custody. See more here; http://gistmore.com/woman-narrates-in-court-how-school-bus-driver-defiled-her-2-year-old-daughter

Celebrities › RCCG Protest Not Meant To Defame Pastor Adeboye – Eedris Abdulkareem by GistMore9(op): 5:00am On Sep 29, 2019 |
Rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, alongside other artistes including Baba Fryo and Felix Duke, led protesters in July to the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Redemption Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. They claimed that the protest was to mount pressure on the leader of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, to speak up about the worsening state of insecurity in the country
The protest triggered diverse reactions on social media with many Nigerians questioning the veteran rapper’s decision to be part of such a demonstration.
Speaking on why he joined the protest, Eedris told Sunday Scoop, “Questioning my decision to be part of any positive and uplifting work that benefits mankind is tantamount to questioning my whole essence. I stand for the people because I am the people; you are the people, we are all the people. The fear of the Most High is the ultimate, not the fear of any human being.
“There was no acrimonious or defaming approach. We just went there to passionately plead with the venerable man of God to join his powerful and influential voice with other well-meaning Nigerians in calling on the government of the day to do the needful by sincerely fighting the worsening plague of heinous killings, kidnappings and destruction of properties and means of livelihood, attributed to herdsmen.
“We also wanted him to influence the Vice President, (Yemi Osibanjo), who is his spiritual son, to be up and doing, and either shape up or ship out. That was exactly what we did, and we left peacefully, just like we went there.”
The Jaga Jaga crooner also added that the bail granted Sowore is worth applauding, stating that the freedom has to be true liberty.
“Most definitely, we are celebrating the fact that Sowore has been granted bail. Let the freedom be true freedom and he should be honourably discharged and acquitted of all the trumped up charges.” See more; http://gistmore.com/rccg-protest-not-meant-to-defame-pastor-adeboye-eedris-abdulkareem

Crime › Woman Cut Off Her Boyfriend Joystick For Sharing Sex Their Tape, Gets 13yrs Jail by GistMore9(op): 6:01am On Sep 27, 2019 |
Woman jailed for 13 years after she cut off her boyfriend's joystick for sharing their sex tape.
A woman has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for cutting off her boyfriend's penis during sex because he shared their sex tapes with friends.
Brenda Barattini, 28, chopped off the penis of Sergio Fernandez, 42, two years ago and was recently found guilty of attempted murder and sentenced to 13 years behind bars.
The accountant confessed she had planned the attack on November 25, 2017, but said she had not intended to kill her former boyfriend.
Her trial in Cordoba, Argentina, heard how Barattini cut through 90 per cent of musician Sergio’s penis with garden shears after blindfolding him and performing a sex act on him.
She told the court she had planned to carry out revenge on her then-boyfriend because he had been sharing X-rated pictures and videos of her, claiming he treated her like a "trophy".
She told a jury of four men and four women: "It violated my privacy, my life and my career."
Narrating how he was attacked, Sergio told the court: "After she put the blindfold on she told me I had to guess where she was touching me.
"She also wanted to tie me up but I didn’t let her. She began to practice MouthAction on me. I suddenly felt something. She wanted to kill me in that second."
Sergio was rescued by neighbours and spent eight days in a coma.
After her arrest, Barattini initially claimed she had been defending herself from a sexual assault by Sergio. She later changed her story and admitted she had carried out the attack in revenge.
Barattini is expected to appeal the sentence at a later date. Defence lawyer Lucas de Olmos claims the decision of the court was "unheard of" in Argentina.
The lawyer said: "No-one has ever been convicted in this country of attempted murder for a penis wound." See more photos; http://gistmore.com/woman-jailed-for-13-years-after-she-cut-off-her-boyfriends-joystick-for-sharing-their-sex-tape

Crime › Man Stabs, Ties Ex-employer’s Legs For Sacking Him by GistMore9(op): 5:18am On Sep 27, 2019 |
A 27-year-old man, Ebuka Everest, reportedly went berserk, tied his former employer’s legs, stabbed and robbed her for sacking him. The suspect allegedly inflicted injuries on Theresa Nnamdi, who resides in the Mowe area of the Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State. It was gathered that Ebuka, who worked in Nnamdi’s fish farm, forced his former boss to transfer the sum of N40,000 to his account and took away some valuables to avenge his dismissal. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed these in a statement on Thursday. Oyeyemi said the suspect had earlier attacked the manager of the farm before proceeding to his former employer’s residence to attack her. He explained that Ebuka was sacked after the manager allegedly caught him stealing from the fish farm. The PPRO added that Ebuka’s dismissal prompted him to pounce on Nnamdi and the farm manager. He stated, “The arrest of the suspect followed a distress call received by policemen at the Mowe Division around 4.30pm that armed robbers had invaded the house of Mrs Theresa Nnamdi on Association Estate, opposite the Jehovah’s Witness Church in Mowe, and held the occupants of the house hostage. “On receiving the distress call, the DPO Mowe Division, SP Marvis Jayeola, mobilised his anti-robbery team and moved to the scene, cordoned off the house and subsequently arrested one Ebuka Everest, who had stabbed the woman in her right hand before tying her legs with a rope and covered her mouth with her bedspread. “The suspect, who worked in the fish farm of the victim before he was sacked due to his shady character, first went to the farm, where he stabbed the manager multiple times, before coming to attack the woman in her house, and forced her to transfer the sum of N40,000 to his account. “He equally ransacked the woman’s room and stole her laptop, the sum of N5,000, phones and other valuables before he was arrested by the police with the help of members of the public. “On interrogation, the suspect claimed to have worked for Nnamdi for four months and that he lived with the family throughout that period. “He further stated that his problem started when he was duped of his four months’ salary by an online scammer, who promised to facilitate his travel abroad, but ended up collecting his four months’ salary and thereafter blocked him.” Oyeyemi said the suspect claimed that in order to raise money, he went to the farm to steal some items, but was caught by the manager, who reported him to their boss, and he was instantly fired. “It was that annoyance that made the suspect to first attack the farm manager before coming for the madam,” the PPRO added. He said the police recovered from the suspect some items, including a knife, broken bottle, the rope he used to tie the victim’s legs, phones, laptop and other things he stole from Nnamdi’s house. Oyeyemi said the state Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, had ordered the transfer of the suspect to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation and rosecution. Crime › How My Step-father Raped Me, My Younger Sister – Woman Tells Court by GistMore9(op): 6:40pm On Sep 25, 2019 |
An Ibadan-based fashion designer, Esther Isaiah, on Wednesday accused her step-father, John Dickson, of raping her and sexually abusing her younger sister, NAN reports. Testifying in a Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, Isaiah,20, also alleged that her step-father was responsible for her childlessness.
“Our step-father, started molesting me at age 12 and my younger sister, whenever we visit our mother in her matrimonial home.
“Whenever my mother is not at home, my step-father will threaten that he will kill me if I don’t allow him sleep with me. So, I allowed him in order to live.
“He raped me so many times. I never told my mother because I didn’t know what will happen, but, I told my friends.
“He also raped my younger sister. She told me that our step-father comes into the room where she sleeps with a mask and rapes her,” she said.
Earlier, Dickson who spoke through an interpreter said that he filed the divorce suit on grounds of abandonment.
He alleged that his wife, Mary, abandoned him for three years without any reason.
However, Mary, countered her husband’s submission of abandonment when she described him as evil and an animal in human skin.
“It is true that I left Dickson’s home. He raped my daughter, one of the two children I had before I married him.
“The girl was afraid to tell me what my husband did to her and she stopped visiting me.
“In Cross River, where I am from, it is a taboo for a man to sleep with a step-daughter and her mother.
“Except a certain sacrifice is performed, the step-daughter might never conceive and the mother will die.
”I am currently sick and need urgent spiritual deliverance,” Mary said.
After listening to the testimonies, Chief Ademola Odunade, the court’s President, ordered all the parties concerned to ensure that they did the needful since it was a matter of life and death.
He held that Dickson might be charged with felony.
The arbitrator adjourned the case till Oct. 15 for judgment. See more; http://gistmore.com/how-my-step-father-raped-me-my-younger-sister-woman-tells-court
