A Nigerian man went off on a drag session by taking to Twitter to call out a female lawyer friend who left his toilet unflushed after he hosted her.

@OlaOfLife said he gave the Abuja-based lady a place in house during her trip to Lagos for the NBA conference, but she reportedly left used tissue paper on the floor and didn't flush the toilet either.

He further disclosed that he had to bring it to Twitter after she blocked him over a chat in which he told her of her 'wrongdoing'. Read his tweets below;

46-year-old Pius Ezekwem, a Nigerian businessman residing in the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa has been killed.

According to reports, Pius who ran a chain of bed and breakfast guest houses, was picked up by eight police officers at a Nigerian eatery last weekend and was forcefully taken to his home for a search and interrogation.

An argument between Pius and the South African police officers degenerated so fast that a gun shot was fired, leading to Pius' death. Pius was married to a South African who was present at the scene of the incident. He reportedly asked the policemen to kill him in his house as he would not follow them to where they wanted to take him to. Sadly, the policemen allegedly killed him in the presence of his family.

All phones were seized except that of Pius' sister in-law who recorded his altercation with the police.

Confirming the incident, the Nigerian Ambassador to South Africa, Godwin Adama, said a formal report has been launched to the South African police on the incident.

An autopsy has been carried out but the result has not been released.

Not one of the police officers have been arrested.

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, housemate, Frodd has disclosed the real reason his fellow housemate, Elozonam put him up for possible eviction this week.

We had reported that seven BBNaija housemates including: Mike, Seyi, Mercy, Diane, Frodd, Jackie and Gedoni have been selected for possible eviction this week.

The housemates were nominated after the Cruisetopia team were defeated during the arena game challenge.

Elozonam, who won the veto power on Sunday, saved Venita and replaced her with Frodd from her team, ‘Cruisetopia’.

However, Elozonam’s decision to save Venita rather than Diane generated diverse reactions from housemates and BBNaija fans.

But Frodd, while speaking with Big Brother on Tuesday night during his diary session, said Elozonam did not put him up for eviction for personal reasons as suspected by other housemates.

According to him, ”Elozonam put me on the Nomination list to test my capacity to survive.

“I don’t think it was for any personal reasons, and his save-and-replace was a good one.”

One person was shot dead on Tuesday while others seven others were wounded in a clash between the police and some youths in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The incident followed attempt by some miscreants to disarm police at the new Aba park, Owerri road.

The Nation gathered that traffic along the Owerri/Onitsha road were paralysed traffic for hours.

The Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed confirmed the incident, saying the injured persons were currently receiving treatment at multi choice hospital Onitsha.

He said, “There was attempt by some miscreants to disarm police at the new Aba park owerri road when police patrol team went on enquiry following intelligence report that two armed robbery suspects who escaped from lawful custody were seen hiding at the park.

” The hoodlums who emerged from an uncompleted building near the park descended on the policemen in a bid to overpower them and snatched their rifles.

“One of the policemen resorted to use his firearm and injured one of the attackers whose identity is yet to be ascertained after firing twice on air to scare them proved abortive.

Mohammed added, “Victim was rushed toToronto hospital for medical attention but was certified dead by a medical doctor while receiving treatment.

“Following the incident, rampaging Youths blocked Onitsha/Owerri road causing serious public nuisance and traffic congestions in the area.

He said joint police patrol teams including Vigilante groups dispersed the rampaging Youths ,restored normalcy and cleared the road to enable free flow of traffic in the affected area.

” Seven persons sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at multi choice hospital Onitsha,” Mohammed stated.

According to him, Commissioner of Police, John Abang, had ordered investigation into the matter to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident in order to bring perpetrators to justice.

Awka- Anambra residents in Malaysia have expressed worry over the number of girls from the South East geopolitical zone being used in sex trafficking business in that country.

The residents, under the aegis of Anambra State Welfare Association Malaysia, ASWAM, said the situation had become embarrassing, adding that they would no longer tolerate it.

Chairman of the group, Mr Okwunwanne Mmaduka, said they were not only faced with the problem of sex trafficking, but also the issue of kidnappings in Malaysia .

He denied the insinuation that every Igbo staying in Malaysia were usually dubbed kidnap perso, adding that most of them were doing genuine businesses and studying at the same time.

He said that to state the true situ action, they would meet the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe and other monarchs, Governor Willie Obiano and other stakeholders to brief them on the worrisome trend.

According to him, the group receives over 20 complaints each week on the activities of the traffickers, adding that a lot of them had lost their lives in the process as a result.

Mmaduka said the group had rescued most of them and sent them back to Nigeria, while some others had been sent to school in MaMmadukalaysia by the group, noting that the trend was giving Ndigbo bad names.

He said: “ASWAM is disturbed by the increasing cases of Anambra State women and girls in Malaysia falling victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation ”

“”ASWAM is therefore, employing community based and state wide campaigns to combat the menace of sex trafficking and other of commercial sex exploitation of Anambra women and girls in Malaysia ”

“We are taking the campaigns to our families, communities and traditional institutions here in Anambra State. We are raising awareness among our young people, parents, government and the public on the dangers therein ”
