A suspected thief was stripped Unclad and beaten in Calabar after being apprehended while trying to steal a car on Thursday.

It was gathered that the suspect was nabbed at about 11.45am at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH, by the Chief Security Officer, CSO, while trying to snatch a car belonging to one of the staff of the hospital.

According to eyewitnesses, the suspect was caught inside the victim’s vehicle with a scissors while trying to disconnect the alarm and key starter of the vehicle for easy drive.

“He was caught red handed inside a vehicle belonging to one of the staff with a scissors in his hand while trying to disconnect the wire of the key starter of the vehicle for easy drive. When the owner of the car saw the man inside his car, he shouted on him to come out of his vehicle! But the notorious criminal in the business of stealing cars threatened to stab him with the scissors and the owner of the car had to scream louder for help," said the witness.

“Upon his (the car owner) shouting, men gathered and overpowered the suspected criminal and handed him over to the Chief Security Officer of the hospital for necessary action”, the eyewitness added.

Ese in 2013 accused Fatoyinbo of trying to manipulate her into having a sexual affair with him while she was a member of his church.

In the wake of Busola Dakolo's claim of Fatoyinbo raping her when she was 17, many Nigerians on social media suggested that Ese was also raped by Fatoyinbo.

In a post she shared on Facebook, Ese clarified that she has never been raped.

Few days after protesting at the International Human Rights Summit at the United Nations over prisoners awaiting trials for years in Nigerian prisons, singer Lamboginny Lawanson has slammed Naira Marley for allegedly mocking prisoners with his 'soapy' dance.

Sources close to Naira Marley had claimed that his 'soapy' dance was inspired by his prison experience. According to them, these prisoners who have no access to women, satisfy their urges using soap.

Reacting to the 'soapy' dance which is fast becoming a trend, Lamboginny stated that if after visiting prison all Naira Marley could think of is a masturbation dance, he considers it a mockery on thousands of inmates in pain. He tweeted;

The prison condition in Nigeria is a very sensitive and painful situation for thousands of inmates. If after visiting the prison all you have to talk about is Masturbation dance! I will consider it mockery on the thousands of inmates who are in pain. #KirikiriDonFull

Protesters in Lagos on Sunday stormed the Ikeja branch of embattled Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) whose founder Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has been accused of rape.

They told members to hold their flamboyant pastor accountable, calling them shameless for standing with him.

The protesters, who obstructed traffic on the long stretch of Mobolaji Bank Way where the church is located, chanting “Jesus wasn’t a rapist”; “Tell the rapist and ” “Jesus is not a rapist.”

They also chanted: ‘Hold your pastors accountable; Protect your daughters; No to rape; arrest him… Protesters chant on.”
