Andy Ruiz Jr has ramped up mind games ahead of his rematch with Anthony Joshua, by taking aim at his promoter Eddie Hearn.

The Mexican, speaking with iFLTV, apologized to Hearn, for ending Joshua’s unbeaten record.


Speaking a month before the showdown in Saudi Arabia, Ruiz revealed how he needed Joshua to show the world what he was all about.

“I just needed that right moment and the right chance to prove who Andy Ruiz really is.

“So thank you Eddie Hearn for giving me this opportunity and I’m sorry for beating Anthony Joshua.

“And that’s what we’re planning to do on December 7 again, so don’t get your hopes up because this chubby kid is training really hard,” he said.

Rapper Chinko Ekun shared a video of a loaded trailer that had no brake yet the driver chose to drive it with the help of a conductor who intermittently "shocks" the tyre with a stone.

The truck, though not road worthy, plied the same route as other cars, thereby posing a risk to other road users coming behind.

Chinko captioned the video:

I am on my way out and I saw something really risky . Just take a look at the trailer in this video . It doesn’t have a brake and the other guy has to always shock the tyre with stones at intervals . God please protect those at the back of this trailer .. Naija na wa o !!!!!

30-year-old man, Ismaila Yahaya, has been arrested by the operatives of the State Intelligence Bureau of the Niger State Police Command for defrauding unsuspecting residents of MYPA Dutsen-Kura Gwari in the Chanchaga Local Government Area of the state.

The suspect, who resides behind the MYPA College, Dutsen-Kura Gwari, was arrested after the SIB operatives mounted surveillance around his residence.

It was learnt that the suspect had defrauded one Fatima Kasim of the same address of the sum of N286,000 on the pretext of doubling it for her.

Northern City News gathered in Minna on Thursday that the suspected fraudster and his accomplices had been in the business for over three years.

In an interview with our correspondent, Yahaya said he and his accomplices had perfected the art of smooth-talking their victims into parting with various sums of money on the pretext of doubling same for them.

“In the beginning, we would double about N30,000 to convince them that we were real and subsequent ones would either be fake naria notes or we simply run away with their money,” he stated.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muhammad Abubakar, confirmed the arrest.

Abubakar said the police were on the trail of two members of the syndicate, adding that Yahaya would be charged after the conclusion of investigation.

Nigerian singer, Doyinsola who just welcomed her first child with her husband Mr Akinola in the United States after 6 years of marriage, has recounted the challenges she faced.

Doyinsola revealed that she suffered miscarriages over three times and had to go in for different tests, surgeries and also took so much drugs.

The singer further stated that after they decided to go through an IVF process and even made payment for it, she got pregnant again and nursed it to full term.

She wrote "

Meet the Akinola’s. My Beautiful Family of 3.
Fun fact: Being married for 6years long before my music career started off professionally. Just didn’t feel the need to play the married woman card. Don’t ask me why, we just wanted to keep it that way ?‍?This young man came along and I can’t but share my joy with you.

My Testimony: I love babies so much and people around can attest to that. I wanted to have my own babies like normal couples do. Fortunately for us, without even trying I got pregnant with my first a month after my wedding and trust me I was super excited and looking forward to having the baby. Life happened and it ended in a miscarriage. Battled recurrent miscarriages ever since then, not once, not twice, not thrice?‍? Took different tests, surgeries, lots of drugs” I hate swallowing pills but it soon became my best friend “, tried different hospitals and results always come back good. Hence the confusion and anxiety.

At this point we decided to seek other means of parenting method precisely IVF. After making some payments we were supposed to go back for some tests to get started but in the process of waiting. I got pregnant again and this time I carried my pregnancy to full term with a healthy and most beautiful human have ever seen to show for it.

Lesson:
Trust God’s process cos his timing is best for us.
Forget all the packaging,I became really closer to my God and put all my trust in Him.
People will come up with advises of all kinds. Make up your mind, it’s either God or nothing.
Be nice to everyone around you cos you don’t have an idea of what battle they are fighting.
Prophecy positive things into your life always. Tell God what you want.
Do not give in to fear atall.

Stop asking irrelevant and sensitive questions like why are you not pregnant? If you care so much, mention them to God in your prayers.
You might want to bury yourself with work when you’re down. I do that a lot and it helps. Get busy like really busy.
Be happy for people not jealous, so that your day of joy too can come.

Marry your best friend, you might not appreciate it until you’re faced with challenges.
