The former Big Brother Naija reality star took to Twitter to complain about her inability to drive her man's 2019 range ''because of driver's license.''

She tweeted:

A Chinese man has married his partner's corpse during her funeral to show his devotion to her after she died from breast cancer in China.

35-year-old Xu Shinan lost his wife Yang on October 14 at the age of 34 after her battle with cancer for five and a half years. The heart-broken groom, said he decided to marry his late fiancée's corpse to help her fulfill her dream of being a bride.

Xu's deceased partner of 12 years, Yang Liu, was dressed in a white bridal gown and surrounded by 169 bouquets pink roses when Xu read his wedding vows to her, according to a local report.

The ceremony took place on Saturday morning ( Oct.19) in the funeral parlour of Dalian in eastern China. It was attended by the families and friends of the couple.

Speaking on his wife's death, Xu said: 'My wife used to say that nobody was allowed to cry should she die. I was holding back my tears on the day, but when [her body] was sent for cremation, I couldn't fight it anymore.'

Xu and Yang who were university classmate, registered their marriage in August 2013, and started to prepare for their wedding.

But the wedding plans had to be put on hold three months later when Yang began to experience pain in her chest. In March 2014, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Xu said Yang went through surgery and multiple rounds of chemotherapy, but she never cried and was always smiling, He added that she even documented her treatment through her account on Twitter-like Weibo, hoping to inspire other cancer patients.

In 2017, Yang's condition improved and the couple started to save money for a flat and prepare for their wedding again. Only for the cancer to return a year later before they could tie the knot.

'We went across the nation, seeking medical advice while travelling. It was a happy year after all,' Xu said.

In May 2019, Yang's health deteriorated and had to be hospitalised in Dalian for months before she was knocked into a coma on October 6 and pronounced dead a week later.

She couldn't even recognise me in the end and we didn't bid farewell,' the devastated man said.

He also disclosed that after Yang died, he discovered from her online shopping cart that she had been choosing wedding gowns before she was hospitalised.

'I promised to buy her the most beautiful wedding gown,' said Xu who went to a bridal store a day after her death to organise the wedding.

Speaking at the wedding-cum-funeral ceremony, an emotional Xu said: 'Although today's wedding is late, it has realised Yang Liu's dream.' He added: 'All that I can do is to fulfill your wish and letting you wear a wedding dress fulfills my wish.'

The groom broke down in tears after the speech.

Tragedy struck in Okeagbe Akoko community in Akoko North West local government area of Ondo state today October 19th after an 86-year-old man, Umoru Samuel, was pushed to his death while trying to separate his son and a neighbour who were fighting.

According to eyewitnesses, Pa Samuel heard his son and the neighbor, Leye Rufus, fighting and made his way outside to seperate them. Sadly, as he tried to stop the fight, Leye allegedly pushed him and he fell flat on his face. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was certified dead on arrival.

Confirming the incident, the Area Commander of Ikare unit of the Ondo State police command, Razak Rauf, said Leye has been arrested by police while investigation has begun into the matter.

Another tragic fire incident occurred in Anambra in the early hours of Friday October 18, as three female workers who were sleeping in a beer parlour were burnt to death.

The cause of the fire incident at the beer parlour named 'Padded Joint' at Ezekwuabo Otolo Nnewi, close to St. Thomas Anglican Church (Akwudo) is now yet known, but it was learnt that it began by 3:00am.

A Facebook user, Uche Prince who shared photos from the scene of the incident wrote;

A motel at Ezekwuabo Otolo Nnewi close to St. Thomas Anglican Church (Akwudo) called Padded Joint caught fire in the early hours of yesterday's morning, 18th October 2019 at around 3:00 am. The source of the fire outbreak was unknown at the time of writing this report.

An eye witness who pleaded anonymity, said that the owner of the motel who is a woman (name not known yet) fondly called “Obodo Umu Anumanu, a native of Ndimg alt='Three killed in Anambra beer parlour fire' class='img-responsive text-center' style='margin: auto;'bu in Otolo but married in Mbanagu-Otolo was said to have closed the motel apartment where the three girls slept before leaving for her house last night before the fire outbreak.

The police commissioner in the state, John Abang who confirmed the incident said the owner of the drinking joint has been arrested and she has made useful statement.

“It’s a drinking joint and the waiters who do sleep over in the joint lost their lives. Very unfortunate”, he said.

This is the third fire incident in 48 hours in Anambra State.

Nigerian women have taken to twitter to condemn the Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, for allegedly kneeling to beg the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, at a function over the weekend.

Tallen and Gbajabiamila were invited as speakers at the WIMBIZ Women in Politics Dialogue which held at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja on Saturday October 12th.

During the event, Tallen reportedly went on her knees to beg Hon.Gbajabiamila to ensure more female representation in political office appointments.

Media personality, Kadaria Ahmed who was a moderator at the event, confirmed that indeed the Honorable Minister, knelt to plead with the Speaker.

A 39-year-old man, Olakunle Agbaje, has been arrested for stealing a 2-month old baby at Odukoya street, #Mowe, #OgunState

The baby’s mother, Marufu Taiwo, was sleeping in her room when the suspect sneaked in and took her baby boy from her side.

However, while Agbaje was tiptoeing out of the room, Mrs Taiwo woke up and raised alarm consequent upon which distress call was made to the police.

On receiving the information, the DPO Mowe Division, SP Marvis Jayeola, quickly moved to the scene with his men where the suspect was promptly arrested.

A staff of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), was, this morning, rescued by the residents of Okuokoko, #Warri, #DeltaState.

The man was trying to fix the light without any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), when electricity was suddenly restored and he got shocked.

However, the fast-thinking residents of the area quickly rushed to switch off their transformer and climbed the ladder to bring him down.

He was subsequently revived after being administered first aid. He has since become fully stabilized.
