Osise, I don't know what you are going through but I have one verse from the Bible for you today Ecclesiastes 7:17 - "Do not be overwicked, and do not be a fool-- why die before your time?" (NIV)

While there is life, there is hope. The word 'hope' appears numerous times in the Bible - 129/130 times. The point is there is hope for you, me and everyone else reading this. You take your life.., you kill your hope! Puff. All gone. Someone once said that hope is free. If you hope for one thing and it didn't work out, hope again. You pay nobody to have hope, if anything it boost your mental well-being.

Lastly, remember whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Believe this sincerely and cast your burdens on Jesus, you will see the light at the end of the tunnel, you will have hope, your expectations shall not be cut short.


Make sure you come back to give a testimony, I will be following you because I have hope that things will work out for you.

Well, I was and still am mega terrified of needles!! When I was going to have my first baby, I was induced and the pain was indeed out of this world. I called on all the gods and God almighty and everyone to help me... Lol. But I could not do epidural o! I could not stay still for long enough at all. Anyway, baby came out and the doctors had to take me to the theatre to get 'done up' and I had to get a spinal which is similar to an epidural. Luckily, the doctors understood my phobia and treated me like an egg, calling all hands to hold me tight while they applied the spinal... Couldn't feel nothing from my tummy to my toes! Really weird sha.

For my second baby, the fear of needles was still there o! Fear did not even let me suggest pethidine injection talk more of epidural. Luckily no 'doing-up' either, so I was free to go.

I would say think about all your options for child birth. You never know how you will handle 'that' pain..

Rice on Sunday? I don't know about that but I'm making beans and yam for my family today. No one is complaining

Unfortunately, after the birth of my first, I suffered from this but not so soon after birth, this was after 4 months. It was a terrible feeling. Yep, suicide came to mind more than a couple of times. I felt lonely at the same time wanted to hide in a corner! I got a part-time job to eliminate that lonely feeling but my moods were unpredictable. I refused to communicate with friends for a long time. Long story short, i got help from the GP (medication and all). Really, we need raise the awareness of PND because not even my husband understood what I was going through. Infact, the only friend that came to my aid was someone who suffered from same and she always called to make sure I was alright. When I went through the period of hiding and not pick up my calls, she would come knocking at my door. Thankfully, I'm better now

I can. If there is no meat or I give the last remaining pieces of meat or fish to the kiddies (yes, I'm that nice ). Otherwise, I'm a real meat lover. I even include pieces of chicken into my salad for lunch at work.
