I talk am! The real #1 was intentionally avoided. The person that created this thread is a xiaomi marketer. The name Ajagbe may be a repository of history that seek to immortalize the memorial of Elijah in anal of Yoruba liturgy. All that is left of that is a foggy tradition that we may still remember to some extent.

In one of Yoruba's storytelling, its often said that when there is whirlwind, someone can be taken away, and so, no one must get close to an active whirlwind. It is often said that whirlwind may take one away and when one comes back, one becomes very powerful.

The regular whirlwind is 'iji' in Yoruba, while 'Aja' is the one that takes one away that one may return and be very powerful. I want to think the belief is well rooted among ancient Yoruba, hence the name Ajagbe was coined to mean "taken away by whirlwind".

In fact, while throwing water on the whirlwind, the Yoruba often shout thief!! to break the whirlwind before it damages or takes anyone away. Aja is akin to Jah in Elijah, meaning 'El is Jah'. Aja is Yoruba for somewhere in the sky where one goes to become powerful.

Well you wont find Elijah in Yoruba tradition, but you will find a gist or a hint that shows that a man can be taken away by whirlwind unto the sky is tenable in Yoruba tradition, then you can bring the integrals closer to see how the story goes. who learnt from who?

I'm presently battling with faith lost.
I lost my most Endearing Dad last year ending to Mr. Death.
Even after I have prayed to God for almost a year and believing beyond every reasonable doubt that Dad will be fine, because He too put all his faith in God for his recovery which never happened.
When I lost him, my faith in God shifted .
I can't sing anymore, as I can't go a day without singing praises and worship.
I'm not much of a prayerful person but I love music more than life itself.
Music is what I use to communicate with God daily.
I just say my simple prayer and sing all day
But everything changes since I lost Dad, I lost all the joy and faith in God.
Each time Mum talks about God or church , I find myself sighing hurtfully.
I couldn't even make any plan for my 2020
I just enter the year with the hope that whatever comes my way I will take it.
I can't remember the last time I visited a church since middle of last year.
Daily, the hospital experience with my father and his last moment on earth keeps hunting my thoughts.
I'm becoming more impatient with life that I ended a relationship I was trying to build again last year after I gave up on love 3years ago.
I don't know what will become of me but I just live each day looking forward to each day what it brings my way.
When my father is laid to rest this year,
I will be enrolling for online counseling.
Maybe I can get my old self back and strengthened my faith once again.
SOMETIMES LIFE SUCKS...

Before I understood this temporary life on Earth, I experienced same as you when my Dad suddenly died, I've also seen genuine born again Christians died in accident. This thread has opened my eyes to the fact that the end time is already here. So appalling to see many claiming to be followers of Christ when they are not at all! Rapture shall surely happen soon, being Rapture-ready means fleeing from all appearances of evil, including dating through which many have been destroyed. If you want to study someone for marriage, you can be friends with them. But when you start telling such person, that you are not 100% sure you want to marry, that you love him/her, you've pushed into dating and emotional sex soon follows. The way to Heaven is a narrow road, and I've clealy seen here that pride is preventing many from repenting and crying to holy spirit for help. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. When you truly love someone, you don't date, you court him/her with marriage in view. Courting is what genuine children of God do, not dating. Truly, dating is selfish and satanic.
