An assistant chief nursing officer at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta, Ogun State has died of Lassa fever. Mrs Bolanle Adesuyi died last Sunday.Two other staff of the hospital, according to the spokesman of the institution, Mr Segun Orisajo, are under “close monitoring”.Orisajo told The Guardian that the blood sample of the said two staff had been taken to the laboratory to “ascertain their status”. He said he didn’t know how the deceased nurse contacted the disease.But The Guardian investigations revealed that late Adesuyi contacted the disease after treating a patient. And my friend also used his Infinix Zero 4 To take pictures of the insicident. The patient whose name could not be immediately ascertained was “brought from Ijebu-Ode” the hospital source told The Guardian.The two other staff who Orisajo said are being monitored were also said to have had contact with the late patient.A mortuary assistant has also passed on at the hospital and his death is being linked to the disease.“Yes it is true (death of mortuary assistant) but we are yet to get the result of the cause of his death, people are just trying to link it (death) with Lassa fever,” Orisajo told The Guardian.

The Nigerian Edikang Ikong soup or simply
Vegetable Soup is native to the Efiks, people from Akwa Ibom and Cross
River states of Nigeria. It is a general notion that the Edikang Ikong
soup is very nutritious and this is very much so. Prepared with a
generous quantity of pumpkin leaves and water leaves, this Nigerian soup
recipe is nourishing in every sense of the word.



Ingredients

3 bunches of chopped pumpkin leaves (ugwu)

1 bunch of water leaves

3 cups beef/kpomo/shaki/goat meat

2 tablespoons crayfish

1/2 cup palm oil

2 medium onions

1 cup of periwinkles (optional)

2 Knorr cubes

Preparation Method

Add the meats and boil with salt,
pepper, 2 Knorr cubes and half of an onion. Boil the meats separately
because of different cooking times. Cook all meats until tender and
there is little to no water left in the pot. 30-50mins.

Once the water is dry, add the crayfish,
pepper and palm oil and stir into the meat. If using periwinkles, add
them at this time and stir. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the waterleaves/efo,
stir and cook for 3 minutes.

Add the pumpkin leaves (ugwu) and cook
for 5 more minutes. Check for seasoning and add more salt if needed.
Stir often so it does not get burned. Do not add water. The palm oil is
the only liquid in this soup.

Once ready serve with pounded yam, garri or semolina

There's this guy I met at 3chub Ikeja,I actually went to ask if there was any standard rechargeable fan because i have been scammed alot by all these "fairly used" rechargeable fan,so i decided to buy a new one because they sell home appliances there,even though people say fairly used items are better which I chose to decline because this is 2016,and this buhari regime doesnt accomodate an extravagant spending.

I work in Lagos but I stay in mowe,and the electricity there isn't too good so that's why I'm getting the fan so even when the gen is off,i would have an alternative,so when I got to the store,the sales ambassadors offered me different brand rechargeable fan,but i later got a syinix rechargeable fan,because I was impressed with the number of months the warranty covers so I purchased it with my ATM card since I just came to inquire and not buy and I was cashless,I had to just use the POS *I'm only explaining all if these to give you a clearer understanding of the issue on floor*

After purchasing the fan,there was this guy that came to buy a gas cooker and we happened to meet and we both exchanged contacts with eachother and few months later we developed feelings and we had a relationship and we were doing the normal relationship vibe,until this week,he started acting up because I said no sex until marriage...he's a very nice person anyway,he helped me in so many ways(advices,financially,physically) but just because I said no sex until marriage,he's acting up already,although I have my reasons for abstaining until marriage anyway but my story is sad,and I don't know who to tell and I feel more comfortable telling people online because someone that knows me physically might not say the truth to me,because they don't want to hurt me,please I need matured comments even if it will hurt,just tell me
