The person does not know what to say, even inside cities, accident can happen and people will still die, Ewatto is a community in Esan South LGA in the same EDO state just 1hour drive from Benin if not less than, we know some incidents can be avoided but you can actually die anytime , anywhere and by any means. This is why I rarely go for all those long distance events like weddings and burials in far away states in Nigeria. It's an unnecessary risk considering the current disorganized state of the nation. I'd rather send a handsome sum of money to the event owners than to do eye-service and risk my life and my family's welfare. Imagine 9 lives wasted because of a wedding. It's not even a commensurate exchange. I'm sorry but they died for nothing!

Shit, this brings back the awful memories of the Anyene family who lost a whopping 9 family members in the Dana aircrash while trying to attend a wedding in Lagos.

You said if you cannot attend the venue by air, you are not going, but people do die while using air, you even later mentioned families who died using Dana air for a ceremony... please do not be afraid to travel or attend events when they are important to do so becox you can still die while in your house , just ask God for safety and go where you are supposed to go, give your life to God incase you do not return so that you can be sure of your salvation status.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the presidential election result from Katsina State over alleged irregularities.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and an indigene of the state, polled 1,232,133 votes to beat Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who scored 303,056 votes in the poll.

Alhaji Salisu Majigiri, the state PDP Chairman, disclosed the party’s position at a news conference on Tuesday in Katsina.

He alleged that there were some election irregularities committed in some local government areas of the state during the poll that were unacceptable to the PDP.

“Like in Kankara Local Government Area, some uncustomised result sheets are used to enter results, even though, they are from INEC, but are not the ones specifically supposed to be used for 2019 elections.

“In other places, there are over voting which we also observed, we are not satisfied with the result, that is why we rejected it and refused to sign.

“We raised objections on these issues during collation, but we are overruled.

“We will also raise these issues in Abuja during the final collation,” he said. (NAN)

You should not allow people to be thinking you you are not smart because if some people do not work on saturdays, you will not have network to be typing and commenting here on Nairaland. Some offices do not shut down, they run 24hours through out the year even christmas day not because the workers are poor and wearing their lives out but because many people will die if they shut .Please to to use your brain o and edith your comment, If you have soft jobs for us, there is a way to present it not by saying why do we work on weekend.
