You thought you had insulted me by referring to me as an A.boki; well if you weren't so ignorant you would have realised it simply means 'friend' in Hausa, a word I have proudly even adopted in my username - unfortunately the joke is ultimately on you once again.
Bigot calling others bigots. I know the full meaning of a.boki because I speak the language. It's a pity that the self aclaimed educated one did not recognize sarcasm in my statement.

That is how radicalization always start. Bringing religion into secondary schools. When their parents attended school did they wear hijab ? Did that make them unqualified for their heaven ? If not why now ? If Christians allow this they will later ask to be excused from classes to say their 5 times a day prayers. Public schools should not bend rules based on religion otherwise their would be confusion. Islam is not the only religion in the world. If Islam is to be accommodated then others also.

They should na. Who dey stop dem beforehuh

Buh let's see for how long it'll last.

Is this some sorta competition or whathuh Muslims are known for wearing Hijabs. Whether they abuse it or not is no one's business. Let the kids be competitive in other areas of their lives, rather than in religious 'battles'

Can CAN be CANdid and let things go the right way??

Another FTC in one day!!! Azonto on point!!!

For Y'all quoting me, asking me to go tell my Muslim brothers this or that, FYI, I'm a Christian!!! A proud CATHOLIC!! Buh let's call a spade a spade and not a gardening tool, these Muslims are known for this! It's quite true that high school students wear 'uniforms' to school, buh hey!! Did the Muslim folks JUST started wearing this habit to school??!! Broses and sises, itaf tayed!!! Why is CAN suddenly attacking it now??! Dem no dey see am beforehuh

Someone quoted me asking me to tell my Rev.Fr. to go build a mosque opposite my church cheesy cheesy
The name of my parish is OUR LADY OF FATIMA, Aguda, and it was given that name cos the owner of the Land where the church is built was a Muslim and he was sooooo happy bout the fact that a church will be built on his land. So the Priest of our mother parish gave it that name in honor of Our Lady that appeared to 3 little children in Fatima, Portugal and coincidentally, the daughter of the landlord bears the name Fatima grin

So itaf tayed wey we don be friends with Muslims

#kickawayreligiouscompetition

Like I always tell whoever cares to listen "salvation is a personal race"
I don't totally agree with you though you raised some salient points here.

Religious dressing is completely different from school uniforms. For those of us shouting hijab, hijab is a modernized method of Muslims covering their heads. I was born in Southern Kaduna, Zonkwa to be precise which have a very good number of immigrant Muslims. Muslim girls tie scarf to cover their and this is replicated in our uniforms as we wore green, white, green either in the form of gown (green down and white up) and complete it with the green headtie. Or green skirt with white blouse and green scarfs for girls. The boys had their knickers and shirts. Nobody wore hijab to school including the Muslim dominated LEA 1. Outside school, we still tied our heads though the Muslim girls uses shawls on Fridays. That's what I witnessed growing up.

I attended Anglican Girls Grammar School Ughelli for my secondary education and they did not tolerate any of us wearing our rosaries to school and we used Anglican hymn book for our assembly while our sister school St. Theresa's were permitted to wear their rosaries to school. Both were government schools as our fees were paid to then Bendel State.

What am saying is that if covering of hair is an issue here, then berets come to play here. Those Muslim girls were not adorning hijabs until this Aregbesola came to power. It is absurd for students to adorn hijabs to Baptists High School.

That's my personal opinion.

Stop being myopic, terrorism is only one among many forms of violence; you just trying to be clever by half, switching from one issue to another - as in shifting the goalpost.

If you want a real object perspective on who is more violent then you must assess all the violence attributed to each religion from time immemorial to the present; otherwise you are being less than honest by selecting only a slice from the chronicle of events that suits your purpose - it is called being biased.

However, let me oblige you even on the issue of terrorism; go ahead list the terror groups you know and I'll gladly show you the manipulating Christian hands behind their formation or in supporting them behind the scene.

Pls go read and get educated to reduce the ignorance and bigotry.
You are still beating about the Bush.

Last line, this your "go read & get educated" is getting excessive. How "educated " are you self? Or is it because you read anti Christian documentary that others won't hear word on NL ? If you want to make a point go ahead and do so without telling to go get educated. You are definitely not more educated than me. What a heck!
HealthRe: The Death Camps Called Government Hospitals In Nigeria! How Ekene Lost His Dad by glossy6(f): 9:39pm On Jun 14, 2016
Op we are sorry for your loss.

I lost my mum in similar fashion in 2009 in UPTH, PH.
They kept interviewing my twin sister as if they were doing a documentary (imagine clerking an emergency case) instead of blood transfusions. She eventually gave up the ghost after losing all the blood in her system and died of heart failure. That was when they started CSR trying to resuscitate her but who sai? Blood level was about 3%.

Performing an endoscopy might have saved my mum but she died just like that. It was a painful death and i keep seeing my mum's face now and then.

Such is our health system. I attend clinic in LUTH and they are not much better than the regular hospital and I pity emergency cases.

DanNafada:
Very insightful comment. You obviously work, or have worked in the system.

Very sorry about the needless loss of life and extend my condolences to the man concerned in this case.

I beg to disagree on your point about the CT scan. It is an absolute shame and arguably criminal that a doctor should have to refer a patient from a TEACHING HOSPITAL to a PRIVATE setup for any scan. In a country like Nigeria I just cannot fathom that it is the tertiary hospitals/institutions that have the best doctors but not the best investigative facilities. You do not have to be a dog to smell the rot inherent in this unfortunate reality. I was completely and totally lost when this happened to a relative who saw a specialist at the National Hospital, Abuja and she was referred to an outside lab for an Echocardiogram - from what is supposed to be the best hospital in our NATIONAL CAPITAL!

There is still a lot of hard work to do before we improve things. The problem is that there are too many people (and counting) who are too uneducated, too religious and too tribalistic. Lagos seems to be forging ahead compared to the rest of the country mostly because your leaders are the most educated and most practically exposed to how other countries, especially Britain, maintain their health sectors.
LUTH doctors will always refer you to Mecure even when their CT Scan machine is functional. Again I don't seem to trust LUTH labs as the college lab and the main lab gave me different results from the same specimen

Here is another comparative study which will answer your question; however, for the sake of brevity I will upload the conclusion, who you or anyone interested may follow this link for the full details.

http://www.themodernreligion.com/terror/terrorism_compare.html

Conclusion

In comparing any two great civilizations one should not focus on one land or one decade or century, but rather glance over many centuries and over many lands. If we do that, then it becomes clear that whether one looks at the teachings of the two religions or the conduct of their followers there is no basis in fact in the claim that Christianity is more of a religion of love and peace than Islam. Christians have no doubt talked about love and peace more, but Muslims have practiced these values more.

Meanwhile, go read and get educated; stop the bigotry and a display of your ignorance
You are still living in denial.
Now tell me how many Christian terror groups do we have and how many Muslim terror groups do we have in the world to today? We are talking of actual events while you are busy digging up historical analogy to sell lies depicting Islam as a religion of peace. Peace and violence cannot go hand in hand.

Just like I mentioned everyone knows that it is accepted in chritianity for women and girls to cover thier hair, if can has said all female Christians should cover their hair to school no one will question that but asking them to wear choir robes to school is the height of irresponsibility and intolerance. It's a known fact that most Christians dress indecently and immorally while CAN looks on , now is the time for them to start a campaign for Christian ladies to dress properly instead of blaming Islam .
Good to sleep if you have nothing reasonable to say here. We are talking about uniforms and you are here misyanning. Are uniforms indecent?

And in Christian Faith Schools, your Muslim girls will wear uniforms, not hijabs. My ex Muslim boss had to bear Maxwell in order to attend a Christian Faith School.
