GooodHardDick:both were together before they separated. One reason for partition was the two-nation theory, which was presented by Syed Ahmed Khan and stated that Muslims and Hindus were too different to be in one country. Pakistan became a Muslim country, and India became a majority-Hindu but officially-secular country, East Pakistan has since become Bangladesh You are right about their religious difference |
tolue42:exactly, Pakistan won't take it lightly next time if such mistake should happen again |
GooodHardDick:but they respect and fear each other because they both have nuclear weapons |
KolbeSolan:Russia won't listen to any explanation considering the current tense situation, Putin will retaliate |
Both India and Pakistan have nuclear weapons India says it accidentally fired a missile into Pakistan on Wednesday, blaming the incident on a "technical malfunction" during routine maintenance. Delhi said it was "deeply regrettable" and expressed relief no one was killed. Pakistan's military said a "high-speed flying object" had crashed near the eastern city of Mian Channu and its flight path had endangered passenger flights. In a statement, India's defence ministry said: "On 9 March 2022, in the course of routine maintenance, a technical malfunction led to the accidental firing of a missile. The Government of India has taken a serious view and ordered a high-level Court of Enquiry." Islamabad warned Delhi to "be mindful of the unpleasant consequences of such negligence" and to avoid a repeat. The object had been launched from Sirsa in Haryana state, it said. Pakistan's air force said the missile travelled at Mach 3 - three times the speed of sound - at an altitude of 12,000m (40,000ft) and flew 124km (77 miles) in Pakistani airspace before crashing. "The flight path of this object endangered many national and international passenger flights both in Indian and Pakistani airspace, as well as human life and property of ground," said Pakistani military spokesman Major-General Babar Iftikharon Thursday. On Friday, Pakistan's foreign ministry said it had summoned India's chargé d'affaires to complain about the incident. Pakistan also urged India to share the findings of its investigation into what happened. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-60711653.amp&ved=2ahUKEwiw7dSV2L72AhXlyYUKHZpmBSEQFnoECEcQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0fEr4NMRsvjqwyJZ_7bKT4

Walkee:no mind am |
Elporo:lol, burn ke. But on a serious note, it is a very dangerous and delicate situation that requires great wisdom in handling it, America will never agree with such thing. The announcement came as a surprise to US, polish government didn't inform them before broadcasting it, maybe they were following what the secretary of state Mr Anthony blinken said that NATO allies are free to send fighter jets to Ukraine. But the question is why won't Poland hand them directly over to Ukraine instead of passing through US? |
blacknoir:exactly, he should leave emotions out of it |
What this man is asking for will escalate the war beyond the borders of Ukraine. The world isn't ready for world war III that will cost millions of deaths, I understand why America rejected the offer from Poland to handover all their fighter jets to US airbase in Germany which will be subsequently transferred to Ukraine, these are escalatory moves. Sanctions are already hurting Putin and Russians, the entire European Union together with US, UK, Canada and Australia are providing humanitarian and military support, what more does he want? Ukraine is not even a member of NATO |
Putin is a war criminal |

naija4life247:yeah Russians will live, but under difficult circumstances which may ultimately lead to the end of Vladimir Putin's regime |
Russia has officially become the most sanctioned country in the world, surpassing Iran, Syria and North Korea, as its invasion of Ukraine nears a third week. Key points: 1. Russia is now subject to more targeted sanctions than Iran, Venezuela, Myanmar and Cuba combined 2. Experts say its only a matter of time before Russians begin to feel the effects of sanctions 3. A Yale University list shows about 300 companies have withdrawn from Russia The country has been subjected to over 5,000 crippling sanctions, according to data from Castellum.AI, 2,778 of which were introduced after February 22. In comparison, it took 10 years for Western nations to impose the same type of sanctions on Iran. Russia is now subject to more targeted sanctions than Iran, Venezuela, Myanmar and Cuba combined, according to the data. The next most sanctioned country is Iran with 3,616 targeted sanctions, followed by Syria with 2,608 sanctions and North Korea with 2,077. Western countries have moved to target Russia's oligarchs, sovereign debt, President Vladimir Putin himself and cut off most of Russia's banks from the SWIFT financial system, in retaliation for its invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Australia, the EU, Switzerland and Canada have implemented more expansive sanctions which have targeted members of the Russian Duma, oligarchs, banks and companies, according to Castellum.AI. The US, however, has so far avoided targeting members of Russia's parliament and has rather focused its sanctions on banks, their affiliates and oligarchs and their families. Sanctions announced on February 26, which cut off Russia's government from foreign reserves held overseas and restricted access to SWIFT, caused the government to lose about half of its foreign reserves. The data shows 90 per cent of sanctions have to date been aimed at politicians, top government officials and rich influential Russians — a strategy the West hopes would place financial pressure on those closest to Mr Putin. US bans Russian oil imports The US took a step further on Tuesday and imposed an immediate ban on Russian oil imports, sparking a further increase in the oil price. "We will not be part of subsidising Putin's war," President Joe Biden said, calling the new action a "powerful blow" against Russia's ability to fund the ongoing offensive. Russia warned the West on Wednesday that it was working on a broad response to sanctions that would be swift and felt in the West's most sensitive areas. "Russia's reaction will be swift, thoughtful and sensitive for those it addresses," Dmitry Birichevsky, the director of the Foreign Ministry's department for economic cooperation, was quoted as saying by the RIA news agency https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://amp.abc.net.au/article/100896632&ved=2ahUKEwiF7Jezirz2AhVSJhoKHb_tAi0Q0PADKAB6BAgDEAE&usg=AOvVaw2k9M1f1FSmKVKfSdeXSh0K In another news A Dramatic footage released on Thursday show tanks being destroyed on the outskirts of Kyiv as Russian troops suffer “continued losses” at the hands of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. The video shows a column of tanks being ambushed with artillery in the town of Brovary, on the eastern outskirts of Kyiv, with some forced to turn back. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/ukraine-brovary-kyiv-tank-battle-russia-putin-war-b987233.html%3Famp&ved=2ahUKEwiy45eApLz2AhWxhv0HHb4KDTwQ0PADKAB6BAgEEAE&usg=AOvVaw3RFDJQNOZibMTTZUUyMKCM Seun, lalasticlala, mynd44
