Taylor Swift posted her support after the vice president finished her debate on ABC News, but Donald Trump told Fox News the singer was a "very liberal person" who "seems to always endorse a Democrat
Taylor Swift has said she will vote for Kamala Harris in the US election, prompting a strong response from Donald Trump who claims she'll "probably pay a price for it".
The singer's Instagram post showed her holding her cat Benjamin Button - a reference to Mr Trump's running mate JD Vance's "childless cat lady" comments.
Swift urged her 283 million followers to "do your research" - but said AI-generated images of her supporting Mr Trump made her realise "I need to be very transparent about my actual plans".
"I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election," she said. "I'm voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.
"I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.
"I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate Tim Walz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman's right to her own body for decades."
cococandy: What I don’t understand is why the numbers are even like this. If Trump should be getting any votes at all on anything whether it be at the polls, in the election or assessment of debate performance, he shouldn’t be getting up to 20% of any votes.
It shows that a good percentage of the people still can’t be swayed by reason, logic or evidence. I know Kamala will win without a doubt but it’s a scary number of people still voting in favor of this man despite how deplorable he is. Scary
Donald trump has a deplorable supporters who don't think and reason well, but I think they are in the minority now
Why are republicans not calling on Donald trump to drop out of the race after he was humiliated and trounced by Harris in the debate, the orange clown made a fool of himself debating Kamala Harris
In a CNN/SSRS poll, external of 600 registered voters who watched the debate, 63% said Harris was the better performer while 37% went with Trump. Prior to the debate, the same voters were evenly split on who they thought would perform best
Kamala Harris won the debate, she will win the presidency.
Trump never imagined that Kamala Harris would give him an excellent battle in the debate, leaving him without knowing how to debate a successful woman, I think he dug his own grave with the lies and hatred spewing out of him. The American people are tired of that same playbook!

“Your Money Is For The Entire Family. Your Wife's Money Is For Herself. She Can Only Share If She Decides To” — Nigerian Doctor, Obianma Onya, Tells Married Men
She wrote: “
Married man, listen: Your money is for the entire family. Which means it’s primarily your responsibility to provide for your home. Her money is for herself. She can only share if she decides to. You can’t make her part with it against her will. Are you an armed robber? However, if you’re enjoying a good relationship, she can help out willingly even without you asking. So aim at making your marriage work.”
Imagine if he was an American, the president, ex-presidents and state governors would attend his funeral with lot's of eulogies, but it's a different story in Nigeria, we don't honor our heroes
they could not give him State burial or fly the flags at half-staff for the man that designed it, not in Abuja, not in Abia, not in Ogun or Kano
The designer of the Nigerian flag, Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi, has been laid to rest after a year-long wait for a promised state funeral.
Akinkunmi, who passed away at 87, was celebrated for his iconic contribution to the nation.
His funeral service, organised by the Oyo State government, was held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan, attended by a large gathering of mourners, including family, friends, and government officials.
The funeral service was conducted by ministers from the Gospel Faith Mission International.
Akinkunmi, fondly known as “Mr. Flag Man,” designed the Nigerian flag in 1958 and received a £100 award for his chosen design.

Kobojunkieee: The same Osinbajo that helped Tinubu pocket much of Lagos? The same Osinbajo that helped Buhari reduce Nigeria to the insecure state that it is today? That very same Osinbajo?
our constitution vested all the powers on the president, the vice president and deputy governors can't do anything
Tinubu why? Osinbajo has all the expertise and he was ready to serve this country and get things done but he wasn't given the chance, the same with Peter Obi
See what Nigeria has become because of desperation of some people
