Major General AG Olonisakin was born on 2nd Dec 1961, in Kaduna state, He hails from Gboyin Local government in Ekiti state. He was commissioned on the 18 Dec 1981, as a regular combatant commission (RC 25).

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
He graduated from the Nigeria Defence Academy with Certificate in Education, Due to His quest for knowledge, He went further to obtain a Diploma in electrical and electronics engineering and a Bachelor Degree in electrical and electronics engineering

ARMED FORCES COMPLETES HANDING AND TAKING OVER CEREMONIES


1. The handing and taking over processes of the leadership of the Nigerian Armed Forces will be completed on Tuesday 21 July 2015 with symbolic ceremonies at the Services Headquarters and terminate at the Defence Headquarters. The events which will be commence with the Handing and Taking over the of Services, starting with Headquarters Nigerian Air Focre at 0900hours (9:00am) and later at the Naval Headquarters. All the Service Chiefs are expected to be in attendance at the Defence Headquarters aspect of the Handing and Taking over formalities which is scheduled to hold as follows:

a. Date: 21 July 2015
b. Time: 1300hours (1pm)
c. Venue: Defence Headquarters, Area 7 Garki, Abuja


2. Thank you for your usual cooperation.

it was a warm event today at the Defence Headquarters, where the former service CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF Air chief marshal Alex Badeh handed over to the new CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF Maj Gen AC Olonisakin.

in His statement Major General Olonisakin assured the men of the Nigeria military of overcoming the problems and challenges facing our great Nation. He further stated that he will improve on the success achieved by his predecessor by working on capital development and new tactics in overcoming the evil of insurgency.

Never Again will Boko Haram take our territory.
Never again will Insurgency Destroy the life of the citizens of our great country Nigeria.

WE WILL FIGHT WITH OUR SOUL, SPIRIT AND BODY TO DEFEND OUR COUNTRY AND HER CITIZEN EVEN UNTO DEATH.
