The Department of State Services (DSS) has summoned Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Fire Ministries World wide after an earlier attempt to arrest him was foiled by Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state. While condemning the do-nothing approach adopted by the government as the Fulani herdsmen continue to kill people and destroy properties in the country, Suleiman, in a video, told his church members to kill any of such attackers who either came for him or his church. While many Nigerians commended him for speaking out against the persecution of Christians in the country, some demanded for his arrest. The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, also called for the arrest of clerics who encourage violence through reprisal, adding: “I have never picked up the microphone to insult any Christian leader. We should be tolerant of one another and work towards achieving peace in this country. “I have never lost hope in this country as far as the search for peace of this country is concerned. our military people now, are doing their best in finishing this evil group. Those that are calling our military names are ignorant of the insurgent type of war. unfortunately those talking are believe to be on the other world of the divide. Nigeria finished Bokoharam within 7- 8 years, while countries like srilanka and Columbia have fought for over 5 decades(50year), fighting insurgency in their countries. our appeals is don't talk or comment on something you are ignorant of. Read history about terrorist or insurgent wars then you will come to appreciate your military. more so it is part of insurgents features to hit on soft isolated targets and attract media attention even the opposition know that this government and its soldiers have tried in bringing Bokoharam to its knees. The Nigerian Army has instituted a legal action against an online publication, the Premium Times over its failure to retract and apologize over false, subversive and malicious publications against the person of the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai and the Nigerian Army. All efforts to make the medium make amend proved abortive. NIGERIA WE TRUST GROUP REPLIES BBOG APPRECIATE OUR SECURITY AGENCIES We are yet to understand the antics of insurgency. Recall that there is no nation that defeats insurgency within the shortest time as Nigeria did. We should cast our mind back to some countries that have been battling insurgency for several decades. It is one of the characteristics of insurgency to restore to hit and run activities or ambushing using pockets of the remnants of the terrorists in form of sleeper cells to attack soft targets or vulnerable points. We have seen this even in the most developed Nations with all their technologies but when such things happen this does not mean that the terrorists are not defeated and nobody would cherish what the terrorist does rather the whole citizen will rise in support of the effort put in place to contain or condemn their activities. No Newspaper of prominence be it traditional or social media would make the attack or activities permanent in the pages of newspapers, but in our own case, some people and some papers drive pleasure or excitement portraying as if they are glad of the perpetual activities of the terrorist. Furthermore, some people will be commenting as if nothing is being done by terrorist group. This is not encouraging at all. We have to appreciate the effort of all, including the security people, the government and all well meaning individual who give moral and other supportive role. The issue of apportioning blames should be over all hands should be on deck to make positive comments and work towards improving the security situation of our country. it is catastrophic to meddle security issues with politics in the national crisis as we are having today, requires unity of efforts irrespective of differences in parties, religion and ethnicity to attend to the national crisis till it is over. This is what nations and their citizens do. Why don't we imbibe this sensible and nationalistic culture of being our brother's keeper. Uncomplimentary comment from Aisha Yesufu BBOG leader and other persons and group cannot salvage the situation rather exasperated the situation. None of them ever tried to go to IDP's and show sign of love and sympathy, rather they are here in Abuja making fruitless protest, even though they have to do it to show their pay masters both national and international to justify the money collected from them. Our military and other security agencies are doing more than enough to do the country proud and rescue all our brothers and sisters including the remaining Chibok girls. Lets have confidence in our uniform people. For the campaigners, well done but appreciate what others are doing including the government even if you don't like it, we are succeeding and we will continue to succeed. As we leave 2016, let share our 2016 shockest, best, happiest and saddest moment. Lol for me 2016, has been a great year I thank God for everything. My most shocking moment. It all started when my younger brother came back from UK, He is currently doing his masters there. Master in electrical electronic Leeds university. He came to me, Hi big bro. My Apple laptop charger just got burnt please help me out because I got some task to summit, as regards my academic. I was like ok, we will fix that up on Saturday,fast forward to Saturday. I know my brother very well, if they ever succeed in going out with you, dam it, you will have to spend the whole day shopping for them. Lol I came prepared. We took a public transport, from Asokoro to Garki. Actually our plan was to go to Garki UTC market , and if peradventure we can't find an Apple laptop charger, we will go to GSM village. Those are the only 2 places I knew electronic and computers accessories are been sold in Abuja. We got to Apo underbridge the cab driver, packed for the passenger seating at the backseat to come down from the car. Suddenly Nigeria police truck just cross us. Before we know what was happening. A ruthless police officer, speedily and forcefully over power our driver and seize his car key everyone was surprise. What the hell is going on!!! As a patriotic citizens of Nigeria I ask the driver, what was his offense He said he did not know, we ask the police men. They all refuse to talk. God know at this stage I was angry. Why will Nigeria police harass, torment, beat people without even telling them the offense they committed I went further to ask people, what exactly is the offense our driver committed, since our driver does not know the offense he committed and the Nigeria police too don't want to tell us the offense he committed. Then someone said may be it because our driver pack along the road to drop passenger, that why he is been harass and is car keys seize. I was like Mr police is that the reason, the police man whose name was Timothy Geoffrey from Garki police station , said he was going to slap me if I ask anything. I was like confuse and shock but this is a bustop (This is apo underbridge bustop) all commercial cars pack here. Before we know what was happening, the police said they were going to take our driver to the police station, arrest him, seize his car, and beat him up. I could not bear it, all other passengers have ran out, they all left the driver to his fate. I went over to where the driver and police men were. I loudly told the driver not to be afraid since he has done nothing, he has not broken any law.(I SHOUTED THE NIGERIA POLICE WILL NOT COLLECT ANY MONEY OR BRIBE FROM YOU AND THAT POLICE ARE OUR FRIENDS). my above word BROKE THE CAMEL BACK. Before I know what was happening. Seagent Timothy Geoffrey started punching me, he was hitting me with his gun. He even threaten to shot me. He cocked his gun everybody run away. People stated shouting from far that, that is exactly how the Nigerian Police Force Garki Station men use to assault, harass and torment them. One elderly police man among them was even pleading with others to let me be. But they all refuse. My UK brother was just confuse I was confused, shocked and brainout. I told them if my statement was my offense then I am ready to go to the station with them. The police ruins my day. Seriously I will never forget that day in my life. If I ever become the President of Nigeria I will replace NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE WITH CIVIL DEFENCE (NSCDC) OR BOY SCOUTS. NIGERIA POLICE SHOULD BE SCRAB.
