Politics / Dealing With Hidden Sin by Godfreytimesblo(m): 12:14pm On May 05, 2020
Hidden sin is that sin that only you is aware of. Sin is a reality which we all must leave. No one can escape the struggle we have with rebelling against God's call in our lives. However, it is possible to choose whether one will vigorously fight the wages against the flesh or not. The battle can be overwhelming but it does not have to result in demoralizing defeat. Sin is the worst enemy of man. Sin deprives man of Godly freedom. Sin snatches away man's peace and joy. Sin is a direct ticket to everlasting destruction. Sin is the master key of Satan to destroy mankind and to separate man from his creator. Sin is a Satanic strategy to put man away from God and His original plans…examples are Adam & Eve, Samson & Delilah. Sin drove Adam & Eve away from the Garden of Eden. Sin destroyed the life of Samson.

Sin took away the power of Samson, in the end, he died. God is expecting us to deal with sin. Jesus said reject Satan and he will flee from you. You can only achieve this by believing in Jesus that He came and died for me and you on the cross of Calvary. He died for our sin and He is our savior. The beauty of the cross is that we are clearly judged to be sinners but given a new identity as a redeemed. You must accept that you have been bought with a price. You are no more doing things in your own way but in Christ's way. Jesus was crucified on the cross because he came to redeem us from sin where we were under the law of the world. He came to show us the way, the ways of His father, our father in heaven. Jesus came to disgrace sin. As a child of God, for you to disgrace sin, you must not hide your sin. Don't accommodate sin. Acknowledge your sin, repent from it and never go back to it. That is the reason why God called David a man after His heart. The only sin that David hid, gave him so much trouble.

When he hid the sin, he committed more sins. When you go to the book of 2 Samuel 11:12 you will understand what I am saying. King David hid his sin so that it is not exposed but by hiding the sin, he committed murder. In the book of Matthew, Jesus said that there's nothing in the dark that will not come to the light. Brethren the best way to deal with sin, is to humble yourselves and expose that sin and it will flee and never to come back again. Sin is a direct ticket to hell fire. Ye that overcometh sin is a candidate of heaven. Brethren ask yourselves, If I die now where will I find myself? In hell or in heaven? Am I sure the life I am living now I can make heaven? Am I prepared to enter heaven? May God help us in Jesus name.

When you dwell in sin, you automatically lose the key of life to Satan. And Satan will exchange the key by giving you his own key which is the key of darkness. John 10:10. This master key I am talking about, is a garment of spiritual identification. The garment you are wearing in the spirit determines what happens in your life. Your relationship with God determines the garment you are wearing. Your lifestyle must be sanctified by the Holy Ghost for you to have access to the key of life. The key of life is for the righteous and not for sinners. May God help us all in Jesus name.…Pastor Benson Enakhena/El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries
Events / Some Juicy Bit Of Insight On Divine Freedom by Godfreytimesblo(m): 7:21pm On Apr 21, 2020
Resurrection is the bedrock of Christianity 1 Corinthians 15:14 "And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.", and in the book of John 19:28-30 it says "After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.", when Jesus said it is finished at the cross of Calvary, it means our sins has been paid for with his blood. Therefore our sins have been forgiven.

When a government forgives a criminal of his or her sins, automatically he or she gains freedom but Jesus did not only give us physical freedom…it is unto eternity both in the spirit and in the physical. Jesus paid a debt He did not owe. We owed the debt of sin and we could not pay. He came and paid the debt with His life at the cross of Calvary. This is the reason why we can call ABBA-Father today.

It is the desire of God to grant release and relief to His people…however we must play our part. In the divine principle for God to move His hands or send help, many believers are expecting God to do His part without man's part, no! It is not done that way. This cannot work. We must do our part for God to do His part in divine freedom.

To receive divine freedom, in our part:

We must abstain from sin.

We must trust God in totality.

We must have an unwavering faith.

We must be bold.

We must be faithful.

We must be prayerful.

Here's an illustration: Sometime ago, around 8pm in the evening, a sister, driving home after Bible study, got to a police checkpoint and was beckoned to stop. A police officer came to the lady and asked her to come down and open the booth of her car. As she was about to come down from the car to do as she has been told, he touched her and that was the last thing she could remember. She later found herself far away in a bush in Ekiti state.

In the bush were other people that had been kidnapped the same way or in a manner similar to the way she was transported to this location. They were made to line up and passed through some rituals and so called cleansing before presentation to the priest for a sacrifice. During this time, she had realised she was kidnapped and all she could do was to pray silently in tongues. There were some other brethren with her in that bush who were also praying silently in tongues.

When it got to her turn to be presented, the priest was taken aback and asked where did you get this type of meat? Immediately she was told to step aside for a while. In her presence many were brutally slaughtered and their blood and body parts extracted into a bowl probably for further usage in their wicked and demonic rituals. After two days, the priest asked his people to return the brethren to where they were taken from…after a long journey in the bush they found themselves on a major road in Ekiti state.

Somebody who went for a Bible study in Lagos state, precisely in Ogba and this was two weeks after they had been kidnapped…this is what we mean by divine freedom.

When the Lord said I will give you divine freedom, it does not mean that you will not face opposition, it does not mean that you are not going to face crisis or face trouble, at the point of that frustration when it seems that the enemy is having an upper hand, that is when as a child of God you need to pray more.

As you are praying, unknown to you, you are bringing your enemy to a halt. That is what happened to this lady. Immediately she found herself in that situation, she realised that there is no help elsewhere except God. And she began to pray. Brethren we must do our part as Christians.…pastor Benson Enakhena/Elshaddai Salvation Family Ministries
Events / COVID-19 Lockdown: Be Your Brother's Keeper by Godfreytimesblo(m): 2:32pm On Apr 06, 2020
A brother's keeper is one who understands Godly love as expressed in Christ's sacrifice. In the book of John 15:13,it is written that greater love had no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends…that is the greatest Brother's keeper…for a man to lay down his life for another.

That kind of love is embodied in the final words of Jesus. As he hung dying on the cross he said: Father forgive them for they do not know what they do. This is what Jesus asked of the father for His murderers on His dying cross. He was bleeding, dying but the same man told the father: forgive my murderers for they do not know what they do. This kind of love is not a part time job but a way of life.

Let it be your lifestyle. We must be our brother's keeper. In this trying time, in this season of corona virus, in this time of staying-at-home, you must be your brother's keeper. We are all called to do this. God's desire for us involves God's calling. John 6:44 "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." , the lifestyle we live today determines how God draws us close to Christ and determines how Jesus will raise us on the last day.

It is a mistake in the ministry today , when you are ordained or you become a worker, you feel so superior, No. When you are ordained, you are called to serve. you are called to love others. You are called to correct others. You are called to be kind. You are called to show others the way. You are God's ambassador.

Remember always that you are a flag bearer of Christ. Whatever lifestyle you exhibit affects Jesus positively or negatively. In this period of stay-at-home, it is for us to examine our lives in these categories: 1) Our relationship with God. (2) Our relationship with our immediate family. (3) Our relationship with our extended families. (4) Our relationship with our neighbors. (5) Our relationship with our health. This is the time you truthfully examine yourself and give yourself a pass mark.

This is a time to correct all your errors. The time to connect back to your creator. The time to be your brother's Keeper indeed. The bible says our brother will be lost unless we are our brother's keeper…There are things we must not do as the children of God in this trying period. There are things we must not exhibit…we must stop running people down, don't mock your brother, don't backbite your brother, stop cheating on your brother, stop lying to your brother, and stop lying against your brother. Repent now and change your ways to suit the purpose of God creating you.

Jesus was a giver of all good things. He was not a taker. He was not a receiver. It is time to reconcile with God. It is time for us to reconcile with our siblings. It is time for us to reconcile with our husbands. It is time for us to reconcile with our wives. It is time for us to reconcile with our boss. It is time for us to reconcile with our children, of course…don't be too big to reconcile with your children.

In this your time of staying-at-home, it is time for you to checkmate yourself. It is time for you to do away with all your wrongs.……pastor Benson Enakhena/Elshaddai Salvation Family Ministries.
Events / A Culture-connecting Initiative By ARA, Takes Unilag students To The Drum World by Godfreytimesblo(m): 1:08pm On Sep 05, 2019
Saddened with the youth's disconnection from our culture, Aralola Olamuyiwa, a culture-first personage popularly known as ARA, created an initiative called "I Love My Culture" a concert aimed at connecting the youth to our culture (what we are), by engaging them with sounds from the drum world.

The queen of drums who just married Davido's hit song "Blow my Mind" with the talking drum, kicked off this initiative with a campus tour that took place at the Afe Babalola auditorium University of Lagos where a legion of students were taken on an adventure to the drum world with sounds of varietal rhythms drummed out by Sanmi Conga, Karkarkey Percussion, Ayiki, Tayo Conga and the very first female talking drummer of valid international repute.

Held on Tuesday 27, August 2019, the concert was a great cultural event of marveling moments—first of these moments is a performance by a creative art student, Ruby Akubueze who sings to live, poked attendees into the thrills of the adventure with a western-feel singing prowess that was most assuredly a marvel.

Compered by MC ice water, the event carried on with sanmi conga who began the adventure to the drum world by beating out rhythmic cultural sounds exhorting the body to dance—Karkarkey percussion's performance accompanied with the saxophone upped the thrills of the adventure.

Sponsored by X-pressions, Kanekalon and Centrepoint Travel Agency, this cultural adventure, was sweetened with awesome dance drama by the inter ethnic yoruba war group who through its Ijebu people rendered the Apepe dance and carried on to Osun giving its dance, Ife people followed through with the sweetening which was rounded off with the bata dance by the Ibadan people of the group.

Engaging percussionist, tayo conga whose rendition was a marvel of this needful cultural event, told Godfreytimes that this is hugely a welcoming initiative.

He described the love shown to him during his performance as "wooow amaaazing".

The much awaited moment, the moment that fueled attendees' enthusiasts came with the drumming out of culture-connecting sounds that revealed to the youth who were existing explorers of the drum world, the hidden beauty of our culture—the legendary female talking drummer who upped the tempo of the exploration with her unique mastery of the drum, teleguided it with her awesome singing prowess.

Using the relationship between language and music, the queen of drums ARA, communicated with the attendees on the need to loving their culture and holding on to it proudly with her still-in-the-making songs "I Love My Culture", and "Proudly Yoruba".

Owing to the awesomeness of her performance, dance was chiefly evident and she sure did exhort them into dancing on and on because dance is the closest friend of the drum.

Ms Ruby in the company of her colleagues and some members of the inter-ethnic yoruba war group, in their joy of the know of this culture-connection, joined ARA on stage and revealed their dancing strength.

The queen of drum, rounded off the varietal rhythms with the invitation of the one who is described as the king of talking drum—Ayiki on stage and this talking drum savvy introduced an unknown wonder in the drum world to students and ARA joined in marvelling at this wonder.

ARA ended this adventure of marvelling moments in the drum world with having performers of the day on stage singing the chorus of the song "Proudly Yoruba" and she with great respect honored the presence of Tunde Sotimirin who also joined in singing the anthem of the day.

Oni Adebosola Bolurin, a theatre art student of Unilag told Godfreytimes that she is so glad she saw the awesomeness of ARA that she so looked forward to seeing.

"I have never been so proud of being a Yoruba...I love my culture", She added.
Events / Enakhena To Church: God's Blessing Does Not Go To Where There Is Filthiness by Godfreytimesblo(m): 9:37am On Aug 23, 2019
At Godfreytimes, we ensure we keep you informed with knowledge-driven happenings in its entirety. Credible happenings that do not only keep you up-to-the-minute but give you insights needful to your lifestyle and here is a gospel happening vitally important for your know.

In this message titled:Thanksgiving through Love, preached by apostle Benson Enakhena, a senior pastor at El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries, you would read about how wasteful is rendering thanksgiving to God with no love in your heart.

Enakhena addressed his members with focus on "The Family" (teleguided with relatable issues), on where thanksgiving begins and where it ends.

The revered servant of God who likened thanksgiving to a man preparing to farm in a year, stressed to the church the need to prepare their thanksgiving for fertility.

On the strength of preparing his members for God's blessing, he stressed further to the church that God's blessing does not come to dust, it does not go to where there is filthiness...you must prepare yourself for it.

Citing the issue of Cain and Abel, Enakhena brought to fore the need for love's existence in the heart of man.

Read the full text of the message below...

There is no thanksgiving to God without love...if you are here to give thanks to the Lord and there is no love in you...there is absolutely no need for the thanksgiving. You cannot wake up as a husband and wife there is no love, joy, peace in you, you frown your face head to the bathroom after that you dress up, carry your bag with a million naira inside an envelop, you are going to the church to give God thanks, you are only deceiving yourself. That woman and man that wore tattered clothes who are happy and showed love to themselves before coming to church, their thanksgiving is more acceptable. When there is no love there is no genuine thanksgiving. Our thanksgiving must start from our home and from our home to our neighbor then the church. The church is the bus stop of all thanksgiving. It is like a man who is preparing to farm in a year...you cannot let rain fall then you start planting. Are you going to plant in the bush? you clear the grass, till the ground, (if you have), pour fertilizer, you are preparing that ground for fertility....you need to prepare your thanksgiving for fertility...and how do you do that? you prepare your thanksgiving for acceptance. Do you know the reason why Cain's thanksgiving was not acceptable by God? God looked at the heart of Cain and find that his heart was wicked and a killer. He said no, I will not take this thanksgiving, your heart is wicked. You can kill and destroy. But he looked at the heart of Abel and said this is the heart I want. As you are here this day to give God thanks, what is in your heart? Towards your husband, what is in your heart? Towards your wife, what is in your heart? Towards your neighbors, siblings what is in your heart? Towards your children what is in your heart? As you are here in the house of God, what are your thoughts towards your neighbor sitting next to you? only the lord knows what is in your heart towards him or her. Check your heart so that your sacrifice will be accepted by God!

Most people will say; I am giving my tithe, I don't miss any of the services in the church but the Lord has not been blessing me, no no no, don't be thinking of the enemy always, go back to your drawboard! I am preparing you this day for God's blessing. God's blessing does not come to dust, it does not go to where there is filthiness. Let no man somewhere lie to you that God's blessing is easy, it is easy but you must prepare yourself for it. You look at your family you want to be the best, you don't want somebody else to be rich, you want everybody to come to you, then you are giving God thanksgiving saying oh God bless me...you think God will accept that your thanksgiving? The bible says think of others better than yourself. That your neighbor sitting next to you, are you sure in your heart, not your lips, you want him or her to be richer than you?

That love of thanksgiving must start in your home. As a man your wife washed your clothes and have it all ironed, you come back and all you could see is the errors, you never see anything good in your wife, you refuse to tell your wife thank you for doing this or that. I dropped thirty thousand naira for food in the house...look at the food is not tasty...I am not going to eat that food....You must give your wife thanks! Let it come from the bottom of your heart. Some men only speak good words to their wives the day they want to lay with them. And some women, when their husbands put money for food on the table, they announce it to their children with mockery...saying: your daddy don drop the ten thousand naira again? e don drop the same money again! after saying that you are moving straight to the church with holiness to take communion, you are going to sing for God and give Him thanks and you want God to respect you? The bible says your husband is your Lord. As the Lord is the head of the house, that is how your husband is your head. You have no iota of respect for your husband, you look at him with disdain because he is lagging behind in his responsibilities, there is no good job... you are going straight to church because you have a good job and you are better, then you think the Lord is going to accept your thanksgiving? no no no.

To the children, there are parents who use their children's school fees to drink, carry women, they tell their wives and children that there is no money. So when your father pays your school fees, learn to give thanks to your parents. A child should not finish his or her meal without thanking his parents (mummy thank you, daddy thank you). Back to the women, if your husband has been giving you N5000 and a day comes he gives you N2500, don't start with complains, give him thanks first! ah daddy thank you oo, you gave us N2500 today, it is well God will bless you oo before you can now say things are very expensive these days oo...We must learn to appreciate others. The bible says if you profess you love me when you do not love the man you see, you are a liar. You pretended into the marriage with no love for your husband, the day he tells you business is good it is that day he will be your honey but when he comes back broke you hiss at him and say this idiot. Know that when you call your husband bad names you are speaking evil into your head because he became your head the day you said "I do", to him. Your husband is your head, his decisions stands as your husband. Take it or leave it. The true reason our wives were created is to become helpmates. Helpmates are not supervisors. Don't become a supervisor in your home. Your husband is the director. You must respect that. Even if you are richer than him you must put that at the back of your mind. And you the men Jesus Christ said: Love your wife as I love the church. How many men here can die for their wives? is that not what the bible says? I repeat, "Love your wife as Christ loves the church", yes, Jesus died for the church on the strength of His love for it. How many men here can die for the church? Some men here can die for their money, girlfriends and concubines but they cannot die for their wives. How do you die for your wives? No one is asking you to go and take a physical bullet. You have only N200, you wake up in the morning you look at the condition in the house and say to your wife "darling please you and the children should manage this N180, let me hold the remaining N20, let me manage God will see me through am coming back", Why do you think your wife will not pray for you from the bottom of your heart? Again, how do you die for your wife? when its christmas, let your wife and the children enjoy the best part of the money. And you as a mother, you transfer the love to your children. When the money is too low, you transfer it to your children. When the money is N3000 and its not enough for you and your children, transfer it to them. When this thanksgiving is perfect in your home, if it is now 50 kobo you have left, you are dancing to the altar in thanksgiving, before you get there God has received your thanksgiving already.

Now that thanksgiving is perfect in your home, you show the love to your neighbors. You prepare N3000 in an envelop about to head to the church for thanksgiving and your neighbor is dying, they need N1500 and you say to yourself "this money is my offerring of thanks to the Lord I cannot touch it", then you are dancing to the altar waving your envelop so that people will see your envelop is fat, vanity upon vanity. That thanksgiving is not accepted by God! You must humble yourself! am addressing you this day not to quote the scriptures, we need to address ourselves. Some of us, clothes we haven't worn for over five to ten years are in our wardrobe and there are those who have nothing to wear, you know you are not going to wear them again, what are they still doing in your wardrobe? your neighbor at home has nothing to wear, people like you in the church have nothing to wear. Even some of us when we decide to give, we propagate it. See her, see him, that shirt, blouse he or she is wearing I gave it to him or her. You have received the reward already! Don't expect any reward from God!

Ephesians 4:2

For you to love that man don't expect him to do what you like! I want to divorce my husband because he is a drunkard, was he a drunkard before you married him? The one you will marry again, what do think that person will become? I don't like my wife again, her stomach is becoming too big. Was her stomach like that before you married her? These days, some men marry wrong wives and some women marry wrong husbands. Do you know why? Pastor I need a girl that is slim, tall, fair with a master degree...you are already dictating to God. And some women will say I need a tall huge man with six packs...you are dictating to God, you are making the highest mistake in your life!! What matters is the heart of the woman or man you want to marry. Can she cope with you? Can you cope with her? In a little while, when that person begins to show his or her true colour/self, that beauty or handsomeness will just fade away. Tell the Lord to choose for you.

Ensure you don't show that love to your husband with lips. You have never cooked fried rice & sallad for your husband but because one day he called you "darling do you know what? I have been awarded that contract or I have been promoted", that is the day you now decide to cook fried rice and sallad for him to eat, you are an hypocrite. The day he will call you to say "darling I have been suspended or sacked", is when you are supposed to prepare such a meal. Do you know why? To show him love and that we are in it together. A friend that eats or shares the better side with you and never cares about the wrong side, is not a friend. You love me, you only come to my house when there is food but when I don't have food you run away.

1 Peter 4:8

Do you know what is charity? It is when you give to someone that cannot give back to you. When you give without expecting something back, that is charity. These days, people use the social media to advertise their act of charity...when God was giving to you did he give you publicly? We are all sinners before the Lord, do you know the reason why you should always request for the mercy of God? What sin did Joseph commit in the house of Pharaoh? None. But inside the prison, it is written that the Lord was with him and He showed him mercy. The mercy of God supersedes all that is evil. Picture this, you work in a company played a game and stole N1m then you start building a house, there you find that one of the labourers stole a bag of cement...then because you have money you pay a mallam to kill the labourer...you refuse to show him mercy because he stole one bag of cement...what will happen to you that stole a million naira from the company?

Matthew 5:7

I need you to understand that if you want God to accept your thanksgiving you must prepare yourself for it. You say I will never forgive that man and you want God to forgive you, how? Ah that thing my husband did to me or aah my wife must park out of my house...at the moment you were angry saying your wife must move out, what if God requested for His soul back? all that you have been doing to your wife are very wrong, give me the soul, what will you do? Aah I will never forgive this person lai lai...some will tell you, I would rather drop my bible and finish this fight. If rapture takes place when you dropped that bible, what are you going to tell God? what kind of love are you showing today, is it love from the lips or inside you? I want to tell you this day, as a husband or as a wife, when you get home, let this very day be a day of restitution in your narriage. Go and begin to give your husband thanks for the years he has been keeping you in that marriage. My sister that gave thanksgiving to God for twelve years of marital life, have you given thanks to your husband for keeping you in that marriage for over a decade? This day, go down on your knees and tell him "thank you for keeping me in your house for all these years despite my shortcomings", do you think you don't have shortcomings that will make your husband to say am tired of this marriage, you are leaving this house? Then as a husband kneel down to your wife and thank her for putting up with your shortcomings for well over a decade you did not poison me, with all my negative attitudes you have pity cooking my food, adding the right salt and seasonings without poisoning me. The children are not left out in this, ensure you tell your parents thank you! Have you not seen it on the social media how parents use their children for rituals to make money? Have you been telling your parents thank you for taking good care of me?

Tell your husband thank you for trusting me. Tell your wife thank you for trusting me. I don't know whether you understand the meaning of marriage...it is a strong institute where certificate is given to you before you get into it and its till eternity. Some people love their children much more than their husband or wife...they say if not for the sake of having children, do you think I will get married? But the bible did not say you should enter that marriage because of children, it says a man and a woman shall leave their father and mother, cling together to become one. Did that statement add children? When your daughter will marry, your son too will marry, you will be left alone with your wife or your husband, at old age you will both help each other to ease yourselves. Put it at the back of your mind that in that marriage nothing else should come between it,don't let your parents come between your marriage. Some people let their mother and father control what happens in their marriage, especially the men. You let your mother come to your home to observe your wife for you. What your mother didn't put up with your father, she wants your wife to put up with you on it. Don't bring third party into your marriage. Learn to give thanks. Don't be seeing errors all the time.

Matthew 5:23-24

When you bring your gift to the altar and you remember that you are holding somebody in your heart, it says drop the gift and go back to reconcile. Am I the one that said that? Let your thanksgiving be acceptable unto God. Some people come to the church to give thanksgiving so that the pastor won't be angry, why should you please the pastor? Is the pastor the one that died on the cross of Calvary for you? eeh they will say in the church that I am the only one who doesn't give thanksgiving, are you doing it for the people in the church? When you do this with murmuring and complains there is no blessing attached to it. Do it because you are happy doing it. Some will say let me ensure I pay my tithe so there will be no excuse or reasons to justify why I am not being blessing by God...Know that the thanksgiving is a waste. You had better not pay that tithe.

Events / Enakhena:Hospitality is of the Lord—let what affects others affect you by Godfreytimesblo(m): 9:05pm On Jul 05, 2019
Seldomly, I write as a travel journalist and in my gathering of thoughts during my adventures with the pen writing about hospitality destinations, brands and in-view, personalities, I have never thought of the bible let alone Abraham who was a chief hospitality personage—this I now know because I was part of those who received wisdom and knowledge( which is the highest blessing you can ever receive ), during the message "Divine Breakthrough in Hospitality" by Apostle Benson Enakhena.

It was utterly shocking to know that hospitality that is no more existing in the hearts of many of us, caused a very big breakthrough in the life of a man God made father of many nations that we are today. We clamour for the manifestation of God's blessings to him owing to being his sons and daughters but are we as hospitable as he was? are we doing more just as he did more by not settling with the over 2000 servants he was feeding by ensuring the strangers that were passing by drank and ate the best in his house before they passed by?

Well it appears that sometimes the answers or solutions to the questions and problems in our lives, lies within how hospitable we are to not only those around us but most of all those we know not at all—only in a heart of love can you find a sense of hospitality and Abraham who obeyed God like no other, lived a life of what God is as well, which is Love.

Saddened with the fact that a heart of hospitality is no more being exercised let alone felt in the church today, Apostle Benson Enakhena in this message, forks out two breakthroughs in the bible that came through hospitality and discloses a crazy giver.Enakhena who is so much not the kind who sugars things, broke his members with the utmost truth.

As he fondly does, he started with his plank of preaching, accompanying insights with relatable issues saying "hospitality is caring for one another, it is when you accept and welcome visitors into your home and give them water to drink...and ask what is the problem? how can we solve it? even if you do not have the solution, give a listening ear, show concern. The business we have today is I am going to pray and God will give me blessings.Well, I am going to give you something to go and do a research on, when a man prays God will give him what you deserves, not more than what he deserves...God gives you what has been taken from you but when you go out of your way to bless others, God gives you much more than what you deserve. If I ask you now that how many shoes do you desire this year? you may say five then you begin to pray for that five but before God gives it to you, do you know that God is waiting for you to give out the one you have to someone who has no shoes before He can now give you what you are asking for?

"There is no more hospitality in the house of God. Hospitality must begin in the life of a beginner. When we are talking about the church we are talking about me and you, starting from the altar to the congregation, the altar is not set aside. Recently someone asked me, Pastor why are you not preaching about giving? I said no no no...when a pastor is living a life, watch his members, they live the life their pastor is living. If I want my members to become givers, I should start and let my members emulate what I am doing and anyone that cannot emulate what I am doing, he/she cannot key into the anointing of God in my life. If you want to be like me, you want to be greater than me, you must key into what I am doing. You cannot be behaving like an Egyptian in America, they will reject you. I am telling you today, if you are in this church and there is no sense of hospitality in you, no spirit of giving in you, you are telling God just give me whatever you want to give me not even beyond what you deserve.

"Let me tell you something, do you know what Jacob did when he stole the blessings of his brother? when he was coming back he said "this I am going to share with my brother", at that moment his heart desire was to settle with his brother, already showing a heart of hospitality. He was not coming back with the blessing to dethrone his brother, let me go and bring him down, no. He was coming with a heart of reconciliation and sharing. When the Lord looked at him He said "I have settled you and your brother"...I am appealing to you to give through a father of a nation.

"Prayers are very essential but there are things you must do to ignite that fire to overflow. I have told you, if you cannot give to the members in the congregation don't bring anything to me, I will not take it. There are people suffering in the congregation, if you cannot help them don't bring for me. We have a welfare box in this church for those in the hospital, prison and the widows. Besides announcing it every last Sunday of the month in the church, how many of us has after each service bothered to put something in the box or as you come into the church you say oh, I have eaten today how about those who haven't and have no way of going about having to eat and you put something in the welfare box? You have one thousand naira and you cannot give out hundred naira from it but you want God to give you one million naira?

With his insights as prongs and his voice the handle, Enakhena forked out the first breakthrough from the book of Genesis 18: 1-15. After reading the first chapter, he asked: did the Lord appear to him as God? Chorally the church answered no. He went on saying: In every stranger there is a favour, there is something he knows that you don't know, there's something he has that you don't have, take it or leave it. When God told Abraham "I will give you a seed to rule over nations", he did not tell him that until he showed hospitality. There are certain things God wants you to do, He will not tell you, He wants your conscience to do it. It is the reason why some prayers are being delayed, the reason why prayers are not being answered, it is also the reason why we are not where we ought to be. Abraham was feeding over 2000 servants and this same man was sitting under a tree when he saw strangers passing by, the bible says he stood up, and bow before them, and call them in saying come and take water, come and have some food after that you can pass by. Hospitality.

After saying Abraham gave the best to strangers, Enakhena asked: did Abraham tell the strangers he doesn't have a child? God knows what you desire better than you do but God wants you to do something. If you are not ready to part away, don't be prepared to take. Reading further, Enakhena asked again: Is there anything too hard for the Lord to do for you? No again was the choral answer.

Prayer
Father, show me what to do for me to go to a higher level. Father that thing I refuse to do, that is stopping me from getting to a higher level, show it to me.

The father of John the Baptist, the Chief Priest, when the Angel appeared to him, he said by this time next year you shall have a child, his name shall be called John and he argued with the Angel...what happened to him? he went dumb. Then why didn't the Angel do the same thing to Sarah? The Angels have eaten from them, you cannot curse whom you have eaten from. The Angel has not eaten anything from Zechariah so he can say anything unlike the Angels who have eaten from Abraham and Sarah. You cannot kill a giver! You cannot harm a giver!

"My wife asked me a question few days ago, she said God said I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy on? I said yes and ask her to read the book of Mathew 5:7 which says "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy", Mercy speaks ahead, it overthrows sin. When you are giving you are showing mercy and God will say ah! because you have shown mercy, let me show you mercy as well. Do you know that giving a helping hand is showing mercy? Picture this, I am driving to somewhere with my car filled up and I see a sister that I know trekking and I stop to ask why are you trekking? take this money for transport. That is also mercy. mercy is not only when you forgive who offended you. He did not only say I will give you but I will heal you. Is healing not giving?

"And the Angel said to him, by this time next year you shall have a son. This is what Abraham desired most, he is a friend of God, this is God's promise, this is something God has told him he is going to have but it didn't come to pass until he took in strangers and fed them. In my village there's an adage that says a woman that is looking to have a child, when she cooks she does not eat all, that the remaining will be food for the spirit of children when they come...and there's another adage that says: a woman whose hand is too strong, easily becomes a barren...what if Sarah had said no to the husband? no! you already have 2000 people in this house that we are feeding and you are bringing strangers who are passing by on their own to come and eat, no. What would have happened? The blessing would have passed by.

Pronouncement

Your blessings will not pass you by in the name of Jesus. You will not stop your husband from receiving his blessings, You will not stop you wife from receiving her blessings.

With 2 Kings 4: 8 - 17, Enakhena forks out the second breakthrough saying "this woman told her husband that they should build an additional room for this stranger having realised he is a servant of God. what a great hospitality. If I come to one of my member's house now even as a pastor and took a cup of tea, tomorrow he or she would have the child tell me he or she is not around when I am passing by but this woman kept on showing hospitality to this stranger despite how many times he passed by until a day came, she said to herself I need to do more.

Enakhena enjoined his members to tell their neighbors I need to do more. And went on: note that this woman was still barren despite showing hospitality to this servant of God whenever he passed by. God did not answer her even though she has been giving to this Samaritan because He wanted her to do more. She did not only build a place for him, she prepared it ready for it to be lived in but unknown to her, she was welcoming her baby and preparing a home for it. When you welcome an Angel into your home, you welcome what you desire most that you don't have.

"Seeing that the woman has given him food consistently and went further to build a house for him, Elisha said to his servant "call this woman, what do we give to her?"

Pronouncement
Your giving shall make a way for you in the name of Jesus.

"You said you are struggling, are you going out of you way to help the poor? if you think you are poor, go out there and see the poorest. These are two breakthroughs in the bible that came through hospitality. They didn't pray, go to night vigil, neither did they fast or make any request. If you are carrying a heart of let me come and receive you are not prepared for that big breakthrough.

Enakhena joust his members further, describing the woman in the book of 1 Kings 17:7-16 as a crazy giver. He asked: The widows in our community, are we not supposed to help them? and went on:but this time God sent his servant to a widow that will help him. This place is telling us that no matter the condition we must give.

Addressing wives in the congregation, Enakhena asked if a stranger comes to you for some water to drink how many of you would give that stranger the water? A woman who is about to eat her last food and die, someone came to her to ask for a water to drink. And she said "let me go and give you water to drink before me and my child will eat what we have left and die", and after giving the water to the man she was not expecting anything from him. That is, she did not say to him can you help us with anything? whatever you can help us with, never. she gave the stranger the water and left. Then he said "fear not, make me a bread to eat". if it were you, you will slap him and say I am telling you this is the last food in my house, you are asking for food. This woman was a crazy giver however you look at her. The last food you want to eat and die someone is asking you for it. It is like somebody who is surviving on an oxygen but seeing someone else dying, the person now gave out the oxygen she was using to survive.

"Two people with great faith: the widow and Elijah..."For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth", the woman believed. If you don't have the faith you can never believe. There are some prayers I will pray here saying by this time tomorrow...some of you will not say amen because you don't believe, the faith is not there. If I do this now I will be broke, if I do that now I will be broke...my hundred thousand naira salary is too small, I cannot give my tithe, I cannot give offering for now because I want to buy a car, I want to build a house....your neighbor is dying, you heard ten thousand naira is needed and you say aah I want to buy a motorbike....that is the heart of a man, we don't want to save each other. Inside hospitality there's a breakthrough. The hospitality we are talking about is that person you are not expecting anything from. You look at the person from head to his or her toes down you don't see what he or she can offer you and you decide to give a helping hand, you are not expecting any kickback.

"What is happening in our society these days is, if a big man's father dies today he will not even spend a naira in the burial ceremony...somebody will say I will give him twenty cows, another will give bags of rice and then another will say I will bring Shina Peters but you that have absolutely nothing, if you knock on their door they will not open...they will say tell him I have traveled to America but they gladly boast that when Tinubu's father died I gave him three trailers of rice...vanity, all is vanity. There's no blessing attached to such giving! When you give because the person is a societal personality, there is just no iota of blessing attached to it. When you give because you are waiting for a kickback...eeh let me give to Dangote who his daughter wants to get married because I need a contract as regards Sugar...again I tell you, there's no blessing attached to it.

"This day, the Lord is telling us to change our ways. If we want that blessing, we should learn to accomodate others. We should learn to give to those that just do not have.

Reading Matthew 25:40 Enakhena asked who is saying this? not waiting for an answer he went on: your neighbor cannot pay his or her children's school fees you are happy and differentiating...when you show acts of wickedness to the least in your environment, know that you are doing it to God. Don't hate the people around you because they are not prosperous. Don't neglect people. Even in the church today there's class, the people who bought ACs in the church have their seat, those who contributed more money than others for an occasion in the church have theirs too...special chair, special reception...even in the church you don't find hospitality any longer...when the service closes in the church and you want to talk to a member but because from the look of your appearance he finds you are not well to do, he says excuse me I will talk to you later...and you are expecting God to bless you after that service?
You may be bless today but any blessing that does not move from you to your children, is useless...it is nothing...we are equal in the house of God, we are one in the house of God...let what affects others affect you. The bible says "we should think of others better than ourselves", show love to others. Hospitality is of the Lord. The Lord cherish those that show love to others and help them".

Enakhena as always, rounded off his message with prayers. He led the church to pray with the following prayer points below...

1)Father give me a heart of hospitality...any wicked heart of collecting always without helping father take it away...father circumcise my heart so I can be a giver, remember the poor, let me feel for the poor...bless me so I can bless the poor oh lord

2)Father give me the wisdom to make wealth

3)father, every area I have rejected you, show me mercy.

Enakhena told his members that when David lived well with God, God gave him an everlasting kingdom. That's why they say Jesus of the house of David but when Solomon took over what did he live for his children? he left poverty...with all his relationship with God, he left poverty for his children...the Lord said "the wealth of David I will give to you", but what happened? when he lived badly with God, God said "all this have been taken away from you", and said "I will only leave one for one of your sons because of the love I have for his grandfather David and for the love I have for my city Jerusalem", what life has your father lived with God? He asked the church and led them to pray with last prayer point: Oh God my father, in any area my father or mother has rejected you in the past, father have mercy....let your mercy overshadow the shortcomings of my father and my mother...do not allow their lifestyle to speak against my destiny, my children...do not allow the wickedness of my father to speak against my destiny.

God's hand is out to bless people in this church but we must change...we can never bend the hand of God we must succumb to His ways.
Politics / Truth Of The Matter Part 2 by Godfreytimesblo(m): 8:20am On Jun 21, 2019

The PDP as a party and its leaders have always demonstrated that they believed in the rule of law which is the bedrock of democracy. No wonder they were able to lead a very good qualitative leadership that is worthy of emulation in the area of good governance or that translates into governance and high sense of performance. That is why they were able to show Nigerians, all Nigerians in particular and the world at large that they are (1) Silent Superlative Achievers (2) Patriotic Pace Setters and (3) Great Nation Builders.

That is further why the performance of all PDP government can hardly be equaled in areas of institution buildings and transformation of all other sectors. For example, the PDP government coupled with other enumerated institutions earlier mentioned in the truth of the matter part 1, also built and created the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Company (NDIC); the Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE); Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP); National Bureau of Statistics (NBS); National Pensions Commission (PENCOM). And they also created the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) to manage the assets of the nation.

Apart from all these institutions established by the PDP government, they also excelled in the area of education by creating twelve (12) universities of which they allocated nine (9) to the Northern part of the country and three (3) to the southern part. In the area of foreign affairs, when it came to the knowledge of the PDP government that the South Africans have killed two Nigerians in their xenophobia activities against Nigerians, the foreign affairs minister, under the leadership of olugbenga Ashiru, took only one singular action by banning the South African airplane from landing on the Nigerian airport and that made the South African government under the presidency of Jacob Zuma to send a powerful government delegates from the rainbow nation to meet with the Nigerian government and rendered unreserved apology and promised that the South Africans will never carry out a xenophobia attack on Nigerians again and that put a final stop to the killings of Nigerians in South Africa throughout the PDP’s last tenure.

In the area of trade, the minister then under the leadership of Olusegun Aganga, decentralized the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in charge of registering of businesses by creating another office in Lagos in order to ensure that the registration of businesses does not takes place only at Abuja.

In the area of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), being the economic drivers of all nations, in recognition of this fact, the PDP government under the presidency of Goodluck Jonathan, created a separate bank for the entrepreneurs which was named Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) from which all entrepreneurs can draw from in order to develop their projects instead of relying on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The PDP government took that action in order to fast track the developments of entrepreneurship in Nigeria, so as to enable them contribute their quota to the economy of the nation.

It should be noted that after the revival of the rail system that was morribond for almost twenty four years, the PDP government under the presidency of Goodluck Jonathan and the minister of transport under the leadership of Idris A. Musa awarded the contract of connecting all the states of the Nigerian federation with modern rail line at the cost of  twelve billion dollars to a Chinese company called China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) because of the importance of transportation in order to ease the transportation system for all Nigerians, it was said that part payment of that awarded contract was made to the Chinese government by the government of Nigeria through the then minister of finance.

The PDP government also ensured the security of the Nigerian workers money by investing it so that the money can be yielding interest. As it is today, this workers money can only be had by numbers and cannot be physically cashed by anyone except those who are pensioners after the money has been credited into their individual accounts. As it is today, that money has since grown to over eight trillion naira and that was to demonstrate how important the pensioners in particular and the Nigerian government workers in general are to the PDP government.

It was the PDP government that brought about the GSM revolution which made it possible today that even the commonest man can now have a phone and people can now sit in the comfort of their homes and make a call unlike before when the phone was only used by the elites in the Nigerian society.

With these enumerated facts, what has the APC government of President Muhammadu Buhari who so much professed “change” to Nigeria (and propagate that the PDP government did nothing for sixteen years) done since they came into power?

This perspective story is credited to Ambrose Imonite who is a political analyst that stands for the truth and is a non member of any political party in Nigeria.

Events / Osun Unveils Kare'le Oodua Logo, its Ambassadors by Godfreytimesblo(m): 3:07pm On Jun 08, 2019
Religious tourism is a branch of tourism in Nigeria that is thriving but in failure because the government or private sectors have no idea about its potentials or benefits let alone looking to tap into it. With the Redeem Christian Church of God’s Holy Ghost Congress; Winners Chapel’s Shilloh; The Synagogue Church of all Nations’ s kingdom worship; House on the Rock's The Experience; Christ Embassy's International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC),
religious tourism is a valid tool to repositioning Nigeria in the mentions of contries thriving with tourism. But while this is far-fetched, the state government of Osun has created an initiative that will have Osun mentioned among the frays of pilgrimage in the world, the Yoruba Traditional Immersion Pilgrimage (YTRIP) - Kare'le Oodua.

OSUN, EDE – The Ministry of Home Affairs, Culture and Tourism, State of Osun has unveiled the logo of Yoruba Traditional Religion Immersion Pilgrimage (YTRIP) – Kare'le Oodua.

The event held at the Western Sun International Hotel on Thursday, June 6, 2019, was attended by deputy governor, state of Osun, His Excellency Benedict Adegboyega Alabi; erstwhile governor of the state of Osun, Chief Abdulkareem Adebisi Akande; Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi represented by chiefs from the cradle of the Yorubas; The Araba of Osogbo, Chief Elebuibon; Oba ASA, Oloye Jimoh Aliu; Erelu ASA of Nigeria, Duchess Funmilayo Rotiba and some traditional personages.

Also in attendance are Mr Tokunbo Dagunduro, Vice President, National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA); Mrs Ime Udo, Vice President, Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NATOP); Leading Fashion brand in Nigeria and MBGN partner–AY Stitches; Rwanda Air; Genesis Art Gallery et al.

This very laudable initiative which will reintegrate Yorubas in the diaspora with their source spiritually, culturally and socially will enhance not only the economic development of the state of Osun but Nigeria in its entirety and participating countries.

The annual programme slated to hold in August, 2019 will have participants see significant sites of times gone by in Ile-Ife, Osogbo, Ila Orangun, Ede, Ilesa, Iwo, Ejigbo, Ifon-Osun and more.

The investiture of Duchess Funmilayo Rotiba, Erelu ASA of Nigeria and Oluwafemi Gideon Daramola as Ambassadors of the Yoruba Traditional Religion Immersion Pilgrimage (YTRIP)- Kare'le Oodua took place during the unveiling.

Will kare'le Oodua fan the embers of unity that is no longer visible in the Yoruba tribe? probably, but what is most assuredly a given, is, it will toe the same vein with Jerusalem and Mecca.
TV/Movies / Hope For The Hopeless Charity Organization by Godfreytimesblo(m): 11:50am On May 24, 2019
In a world where we have refused to share the little things we have within ourselves, paying absolutely no mind to God's instruction which is 'giving' thereby bringing about experiences that renders one helpless and one who is helpless is most assuredly hopeless, Jerome Ilom who is saddened with this reign of poverty over the society knowing that God did not create his children to be subdued by this mother of negativities, established an initiative called Hope for the Hopeless Charity Organization to tit-for-tat with these experiences abounding in poverty by showing the love of Christ to all and putting smiles on the faces of Widows, Children, Prisoners, Less privileged/Destitutes in the society through the greatest sacrifice of all "Giving" in order to impact lives positively through moral support, empowerment and general welfare - food, medical, livelihood and financial support.

Within Lagos State this organization has rented houses for four (4)widows and also renewed house rents for more than fifteen (15) people including a church rent.

With 93 students ranging from nursery to the university under the organization' s scholarship program and 100,000 to 400,000 as the case may be, has been given to so many to start businesses of their choice, 10 people are doing vocational courses namely: Fashion/dress making, Hairstylist, Carpentry, Driving, Cake /Food Confectionery and Computer literacy.

Speaking with Godfreytimes, Ilom with a heart of huge thanks, expressed gratitude to God for connecting him with his helper, CEO Ronawigs, Sharom Ademefun whom he described as the sole sponsor of the organization.

"With great gratitude to God, I give thanks in large to Madam Ademefun who is my Dorcas.

"Dorcas is a helper assigned by God to help and carry one's burden, and Madam Ademefun the founder of Rona mentorship and Jesse's Blessing Foundation is always there for Hope for the Hopeless Charity Organization's needs and burden as and when due".

Events / Truth Of The Matter (part 1) by Godfreytimesblo(m): 11:42am On May 24, 2019
BY AMBROSE IMONITIE

This is a moment of truth for those Nigerians who want to hear the truth about goings on in our present day Nigeria. Today the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been in governance for four years without nothing to show for it. When they came into governance they boasted of three million jobs annually for Nigerians but today APC cannot show Nigerians one job they have created instead they succeeded in creating massive unemployment of Nigerians that is numbering up to 23.1 percent, the Premium Times had published in a report that further showed full details from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Before APC came to government I saw that they were having no agenda to pursue at all. Today the evidence is there that the APC government has failed Nigerians.

Presently, if you compare the APC’s government to that of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who led this nation for sixteen good years, you will find that the PDP succeeded in laying very solid foundations for the nation. First of all, under the leadership of Charles Soludo who was the then Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, they made sure there was a sound and strong financial base for the nation that resulted to the recapitalization of banks which led to the smaller ones to merge with the big ones and those who could not meet the requirements of the recapitalization to close down. The PDP government also created great institutions like the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), Code of Conduct Tribubal (CCT), even the National Pension Commission (PENCOM). They also went further to introduce the Bank Verification Number (BVN), Treasury Single Account (TSA), and Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System (IPPIS). The PDP government went further still to revive the rail system that was moribund for over 23 years, initiated and introduced the modern mechanized agriculture in Nigeria under the leadership of Akinwunmi Adesina the then Minister of Agriculture who is now the present President of African Development Bank (ADB),in which the country’s farmers can harvest three times in a year that is the rainy season, winter and dry season.

The Ministry of Health led by the leadership of Dr Onyebuchi Chukwu, under the PDP government, stopped the Ebola epidemic that was brought into this country within two weeks (I can’t imagine if it were to be now Ebola was in Nigeria). They did not stop at that, to make sure Ebola was not brought in from other West African countries, the Ministry of Health delegated doctors from Nigeria with vaccines, equipments and protective masks and started from the Republic of Benin down to Senegal to make sure the epidemic is totally terminated from the West African sub-region. If we put the score-card of APC and PDP out, it shows that the government of PDP has performed far more bettet than that of the APC. In roads infrastructure, the Ministry of Works led by Architect Mike Onolememe the PDP government tarred over 25,000 kilometers of road, most of which were in the Northern part of the country, a feat that can hardly be equaled by any other party. Lest I forget, the second Niger bridge was created by the PDP government, the Lagos-Ibadan express road was also under reconstruction by the Ministry of Works under the PDP government after the award of the contract.

Unfortunately today, what we see is the APC using wicked media propaganda against the PDP government that has done so very well considering their performance in the Banking sector, some road infrastructure and creation of institutions. The APC government should know that this nation Nigeria can never be built on media propaganda, hypocrisy, deception, lies, and arbitrariness or on injustice, high-handedness and callousness. This country can only be built on equity, fairness, probity and justice. Any government that prides itself by perpetrating injustice and impunity can only survive for a while. Today it is clear that because APC government was built on the foundation of deception, hypocrisy lies, and propaganda the government is battling with insecurity that is ravaging the nation. The APC government should know that no amount of media propaganda used against the PDP government can erode the performance of that government.

If the APC government is sincere to itself and to Nigerians, they should continue to build upon the solid foundations the PDP government laid in the areas of infrastructural development, modern transportation, the agricultural sector and the industrial revolution which today Aliko Dangote is a partaker of–it was the policy rolled out by the then Minister of Industries, Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga that translated into Dangote’s success story in the African continent of which he is now known as Africa’s richest industrialist. The APC government should concentrate on facing realities of the moment instead of chasing shadows by using wicked media propaganda against the former PDP government which is now the opposition.

The APC government pretends to be fighting corruption instead they succeed in entrenching and legalizing corruption by accepting those who stole money in the then PDP government into their own party, even those who were under investigation and those that were already prosecuted for corruption by the PDP government were all welcomed into their party, e.g Orji Uzor Kalu.

Let APC government led by Buhari know that the PDP government believes that it is easier to prevent corruption than fighting it that was why they created those great institutions like the ICPC, EFCC, CCB, CCT and also introduced IPPIS in the work force to checkmate ghost workers. They also introduced the BVN policy in the bank and Treasury Singles Account TSA in order to monitor and control government finances to avoid corruption in the government work force. The TSA which was initiated and introduced by the then Minister of Finance & Coordinator of the economy, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been in operation since 2012.

Let Buhari government stop all actions of wicked media propaganda and intimidation of all who stand for the truth in the affairs of this nation.

Events / Enakhena: Man Was Not Following God—god Was Still Looking For Man To Rescue Man. by Godfreytimesblo(m): 3:08pm On Feb 17, 2019
To continue and be consistent with bringing you the word of God (which is the truest of all happenings) in addition to the happenings of credible news, Godfreytimeslifestyle (GTL) was at the El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries (ESFM) on Sunday 10, February 2019. The Sunday school was ongoing and the ambiance in the church was joyfully interactive as members and the teacher engaged each other with questions and answers—the service progressed into a time of worship and praise (you know something, in not-too-distant-future, this is one moment in this church religious tourists would always revel in even after they had gone) where a choir member in company of her Team carried on this joyfulness with an afro-based feel of worship…the originality of her voice gave the start of the segment the needed thrill and showcased the diverse strength abounding in the ESFM Choir. The exciting aura of joy in the church lingered on until the message of the morning made it utterly cold—on this very day, Apostle Benson Enakhena broke the hearts of his members with his preaching on “The Heart of God” because even though, we well know, there’s no man with an iota of God’s heart, this message revealed how man is not following through with God after creating us in “His image and likeness” and how God has on the strength of his no-word-can-describe love for man, has been continually giving to man, even when man lost it all…

After describing the heart of God as Love, Holiness, Righteousness, Mercy, and Forgiveness, Enakhena said “We are talking about the heart of God not the heart of man…If it were so, we will go straight to the book of Jeremiah that says the heart of a man is desperately wicked who can know it—that is why the lord said in the book of Psalm that I will prepare a table in the presence of your enemies—that is why we the children of God today have a prayer point that says; a friend in the day, an enemy in the night”. Stirring up the broken heart preaching little by little, He went on “I asked myself a question when I got this topic and it is: right from the time God created heaven and earth what has he actually given to himself? Absolutely nothing…Continually God is giving to man, God created heaven and earth he gave the authority to man, He gave everything to man, man lost everything—God gave man his only son to come and die and go to the pit of hell and bring back the key that man lost and give it back to man—God rose up and gathered the trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and said let us create man in our own image—He did not say let us create him like a dog or a fowl”. “I am telling you the heart of my Father this morning”, he added.

“A man wants to always be atop, a man has his ego, a man has this I want to be a leader, I want to be the ruler but you know what? man doesn’t lead but rules. The heart of a man doesn’t lead, it rules—Because a leader creates an environment of possibilities for others to follow.

“I look at us today when we say political leaders, we don’t have political leaders in this country, we only have political rulers. But when God wanted to create man, He created man in His image and likeness and he gave authority to man, who was this man? An ordinary man. We are stressing to the people every day to obey God, what is this Ten commandments God has given to man that is difficult to follow? I observed the Ten Commandments of God and find they are all beneficial to man and not to God.

“It is because the heart of man is wicked that is what brought these Commandments—because there is no love in the heart of man. Jesus said: Love supersedes all the commandments. If I actually love you with all my heart...I will not be looking at what you have, I will not steal from you, I will not backbite you, I will not set you up, I will not be bringing you down, I will not bewitch you, I will not go to an evil altar because of you, I will not rise up against your children, I will not look for your wife, I will not devour your daughter, why? Because I love you—it is this love that was not in the heart of man that brought about the Ten Commandments. Jesus is love, God is love, and Love is the heart of God.

“Love is walking with the heart of God…you walk with the heart of God, obey his word and obey his commandments.

After reading the book of John 14:15, Enakhena asked: If you know you love Jesus raise up your hand, all hands were up…he asked again, if you know you have been obeying the commandments of God 100% raise up your hands, sadly, very sadly, no hands were up.

1 Samuel 13:13-14

Enakhena stirred on “God loves Israel so much that he was giving them a prophet as a leader. Do you know why God was giving Israel a prophet as a leader and a king? Because he wanted someone that will help them, someone that will hear from him, someone that will guide them according to his ordinance, and show them the right path but because the heart of man is weak they were tired of the interventions of the prophet of God, they were tired of following the ways of God, so they rose up and said no! we want to be like other nations, we need a king that will rule us carnally, that will give us human love, that will give us other options and God gave them Saul…immediately they took Saul as a King what happened? The life of Israel turned upside down, they became powerless both in the Spirit and in the physical…and because Saul was not obeying the word of God, not called by God, he started disobeying God and a man that obeys God must have the spirit of perseverance—a time came, there was trouble, there was war coming in—those days before you go to war, you must visit the prophet and ask: did God say we should go to this war? Did God say we should stay back? What is the lord saying about this?

“Saul sent for Samuel the chief priest, but he stayed back because God asked Samuel to wait, trying to test Saul: even if I have not chosen this man let me see what he is going to do...is he going to wait for me? When God says wait, wait…when God says go, go…when God says stand, stand. That is what we were taught at the Sunday school that the Israelites spent more days in the wilderness because they refused to heed to or follow the word of God.

“today I see some people they try to paint the word of God to make it beautiful so that people will feel they are on top but they are lying…they just keep you floating—I told somebody lie is like water, truth is like oil—when you pour water on this street now, before your opened eyes are closed and then open again, it’s already at the roundabout…when you pour oil, it will not move with the pace of the water, it will be very slowly but after a month, come back and you would still meet the oil and as for the water, no sign of it…that is lie—but because the heart of man is wicked, we hardly accept the truth…we quickly accept lies—when Saul was not chosen by God it was easy for the children of Israel to accept him…why? Because he was not founded in truth—when God chose David it was difficult for the children of God to accept David until God started proving Himself in the life of David.

“A man with the heart of God is a man with a helping heart, a man with the heart of God is a forgiving heart. Some will say I love Jesus, speak in tongues for hours, pray for hours, spend hours and even sleep in the church, after leaving, somebody hit your car and you say look, you are not repairing this bumper…you are changing it—as a matter of fact, the front bumper which was bad you are going to change it as well—That heart is not only wicked but surely not of God.

“When God created heaven and earth He gave everything to man…“He gave” and even when man lost everything God gave him a second chance…if a man gives me one million naira to start a business then after a while I told him I have lost the whoping sum—he will not only close the door of my second chance but other people’s door of second chance…that is the heart of a man—but when man lost virtually everything to Satan, what happened? God sent his only begotten Son—He said go, bring my children back to me and Jesus came to this wicked world—we that he came to rescue, are the ones that crucified him—when he was being nailed on the cross of Calvary He said: Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing… have you forgiven somebody that has hurt you so much?

Enakhena asked again, how many times have you forgiven somebody that has hurt you so much? Jesus said father forgive them for they know not what they are doing, he stressed.

“Have you forgiven your husband, wife, children, mother, father, friends, siblings, neighbors, relatives, workers, and the people around you? Forgiveness of God has no boundaries—that is why Jesus Christ said 70 times 7—it is so bad that the wickedness today, starts even from the Altar not the congregation—till today we are still nailing Jesus on the cross again, and again and again —and He is still staying on the right hand of God, telling his Father, forgive them, do not allow my blood, the blood I shed on the cross of Calvary to be in vain—what other love is greater than when a man lay down his life for his friend to live? For his friend to move forward? Today it is difficult, God only asked us for just one thing: Come close to me.

“Most times we make mistakes thinking praise and worship is all that God wants from us…definite no!

Enakhena furthered on, “God said David a man after my heart…why? David had the heart of God, obeyed, listened, followed and lived in the sight of God.

Citing the issue of a pastor who bragged saying if it weren’t for me, that person would have died—I said to myself, can you imagine that? Enakhena enjoined his members to ask their neighbor: who are you before God?

“The heart of God is love…ye that is outside love, is waiting for destruction…ye that refuse to obey God, is waiting for destruction, ye that refuse to work with God, is looking for doom.

Describing the message as what God gave him the morning of that day, Enakhena said he had earlier prepared a message on greater heights but God said no, tell my people about my heart…tell them to follow my heart—They are following their own heart and their heart is wicked.

Again, Enakhena enjoined his members to ask their neighbor: when are you going to follow the heart of God? Chorally they asked.

“When a man follows or obeys God, He will automatically give you everything you want because God’s word is safe in your hands—God will not give you what will not be safe with you.

Acts 13: 22-23

God said I have found a man after my heart who will do all my will…let me ask, is David not a child of God? But man was not following God and God was still looking for man to rescue man…what a heart?

“God wants to bless us beyond our capacity but we are not prepared…the way you want your kids to be blessed, God wants me and you to be blessed more than the way you want your kids to be blessed.

“Picture yourself having three kids and you also have a flourishing company, you tell them how you want the direction of the company to go, I want you to read Law, you I want you to study Accounting and then you because I want you to take over the treasury, I want you to study Business Administration…then you send these kids to school, expecting results that shows they are qualified and prepared for that which so desire for them but at the of four or five years plus in the higher institution there is no result…what is your reaction? Are you going to hand over the company to them?

Enakhena said to his members you are going to rise up this morning and tell God…prepare my heart for your blessing…every area I have being going astray, Father show me mercy and prepare me for your blessing this year”.

Events / Enakhena:there's A Strength Beyond Human Imagination When You Give Thanks To God by Godfreytimesblo(m): 10:50pm On Feb 08, 2019
When you dance Satan is angry, when he's angry he loses control, when he loses control, you become a winner...Dance in Thanksgiving to God and be a winner today—this was revered apostle Benson Enakhena's charge to his members in his preaching on the message “Power in Thanksgiving”...

As it is the tradition to dedicate first Sundays of every month to give thanks to our God, El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries (ESFM) a prospective contributive factor to religious tourism in not-too-distant-future, chiefly practiced this cogent tradition on Sunday, February 3, 2019 with testimonies, special numbers in huge thanks to God for seeing them through the first 31 days of the year.

The senior pastor whose reverence to God is utmost, rounded off this sweet tradition describing his members as his testimony and thanked God for looking after his children and counting them worthy of his divine protection that cuts across every spheres of their lives.

Starting his message, Enakhena who defined Thanksgiving as an expression of gratitude especially to the almighty God revealed that “thanks” and “sorry” are problems of our marriages—this two words are the reasons why marriages of this generation are not working because the use of it is zero.

“Darling I am sorry...oh thank you, you can imagine such a peaceful world...such a peaceful atmosphere...you can imagine such a peaceful marriage”, Enakhena said.

He added that you must not say sorry only when you are wrong...to let peace reign sometimes you need to say sorry—for peace to reign, sometimes you need to say sorry to show that person that you are not weak but matured, not just matured, you are matured in the spirit.

“A matured child of God doesn't drag issues, he/she forgives, forget and let go.

“In any trouble there's a breakthrough, in any storm, don't look at that storm, there's Jesus in that storm.

Citing Joseph's issue of being sold to Egypt, Enakhena described the son of Jacob as a matured child of God.

“Joseph was sold to Egypt but eventually he excelled and brought his father and brothers to Egypt and when their father died, his brothers that sold him to Egypt were afraid saying our father that has been our shade is dead and now that he's gone Joseph is going to deal with us...they went about talking to people, the elders of Egypt coming up with all sorts of lies but Joseph being a matured Child of God said no! God used you to bring me to Egypt—this statement is Joseph giving thanks to God.

“Before David faced Goliath he said the God I serve shall bring you down—he's only giving thanks to God—there so many issues that happens today, even we the servants of God will say if it weren't for me, he would have seen trouble...who are you? Don't take the glory of God...who are you? A blink of God's eye you are gone—in every situation learn to give God thanks, learn to praise God all the time.

“When you pray fervently and answers refuse to come, begin to give God thanks—complain should not be in the mouth of the children of God, why me? is neither the portion of a child of God—when you have prayed, fasted done everything, go back to God and tell Him thank you... because I am not married, I have no car, I have absolutely nothing, Father I thank you because this is what you want for me—if that is not what God wants for you he will change that situation...There is power in thanksgiving, there's power in praises and there's power in worship.

Reading Psalm 100:4 Enakhena said Enter his gate and asked which gate? The church of God, the house of God with thanksgiving—don't prepare yourself in the morning grudgingly going to the house of God—if it's this El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries you are coming to worship and you are grudging, change your church—the place you worship should be a place you go to with great feeling of happiness, with thoughts of I want to go and dance for my God today.

“The psalmist says I was glad when they say let us go to the house of the lord—David looked forward to Sundays so he can dance and sing to our God—when you give God thanks oooh I am telling you the fruition is well above enormous—Abel was hugely happy saying ooh the God that created my father and my father gave birth to me and I am alive today ooh I want to thank my father in heaven, he did it and God accepted his thanksgiving—don't come and give to God because pastor says you should come and give or because pastor is preaching about it—be in the spirit to do whatever you want to do in the vineyard of God—God blesses you more when you do things that comes from the spirit not your carnal mind—when God lays something in your spirit, until you do it he troubles you.

Enakhena stressed to the congregation that this year they should learn to give God thanks and praise in any situation.
“Some of us wait until the praise and worship is over before we come to church—if only we know what a huge error that is—we call Sunday service what? Chorally the congregation said Kingdom worship—any attempt for you not to dance and praise God on a Sunday you are so much on your own—that is the only thing He wants from us.

“A man that is clapping, dancing, playing an instrument is praising and thanking God but in all you must do it in truth—don't always give thanks to God because you found yourself in it, do it because He loved you first—man is wicked but God's love is internal and unto eternal life”, Enakhena said after reading Psalm 100:5 and reiterated that all we can give back to God is thanksgiving.

“Saying thank you to Jesus is not enough, it is never too much—when Jesus wanted to raise Lazarus from the grave, Jesus did not say any prayers—He said thank you Father because you always answer me.
“Let thank you never depart from your mouth in your marriage, even your children learn to say thank you to them, learn to say thank you to your wife and let this be exercised in other spheres of life—learn to give chief thanks to our God—there's a strength beyond human imagination when you give thanks to God—God is interested in thanks givers, He knows your heart, knows what you are and what you can do even when you have nothing dance—whenever you give thanks to God it goes to heaven and God will bring down good news for you—showers of blessing automatically comes down.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

“Clapping is part of praising God—it is important to note that there's no big boy in the house of God—David was a King of a country but he was still dancing and praising God...I saw on the internet somebody wrote what a useless senator...how can he be dancing, praising God...in amazement I said wow who is Dino Melaye? Who is he before God? We are talking about our God who can pronounce that let Nigeria exist...before He says no more Nigeria is gone—how can only one person dance to your God and you are saying a whole senator? If you have not started dancing for your God, from today learn to do that”.

Religion / Enakhena Describes The Light Of God As The Strength Of A Man by Godfreytimesblo(m): 4:18pm On Jan 26, 2019
What is most assuredly a given is that, God projects himself through revered apostle Benson Enakhena, general overseer, El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries to bring his children to the very know of HIM and HIS word. Having welcomed his members with an apt message on the topic “My Little Beginning” at the first Sunday of the year and followed through with another topic “Trusting in the Lord wholeheartedly” the revered apostle on Sunday 20, January 2019 toed the same vein with the topic “The Strength of God”. Ever-constant with the rare ability of bringing to light the exact understanding of the word of God, Enakhena brought to fore the very know of not only what the strength of God is but it's mightiness .

During his preaching on the strength of God, Enakhena said that this strength has been given to me and you, it has been available for us, but the usage of this strength has become a problem to man.

He said as children of God certain things we look outside for help are with us, are in us, are around us, within us but because we cannot recognise that strength of God in us, we begin to look for help where there is no help...we begin to go to places for help from people who are to come to us for help.

Reading Psalm 27:1 Enakhena said the light is the highest strength a man can have, no matter the instrument you carry, no matter the weapon you carry, if the light of where you are is switched off darkness envelopes you...you do nothing in the dark, no matter how good you are in that your field, when there's darkness you do nothing.

“The light of God is the strength of man that is why before the creation in the book of Genesis 1: it said let there be light and there was light—The light brought the strength and God started to create—The light of God is the strength of man, that is the reason why when a man begins to commit sin darkness begins to envelope him, disappointment begins to come, crisis follow through—The light of God is the strength of man and Jesus is the light.

“When a man face a situation, there are situations you face and you begin to say oh this is the end of it, this is the end of my life but at that moment Jesus is your strength for you to carry on, for you to cross over—unless you recognize that in Jesus your strength cannot fail, your heart cannot fail, you will see yourself going down—It's the understanding of the strength of God that differentiates believers from unbelievers.

1 Sam 30:8

“We are talking about the strength of God, David was a warrior, a fighter, a ruler and a servant of God. But a time came, when the philistines came to his town when David and his men was not around, they took everything that belongs to David and his people, took his people, wives, children, farmers... When David came back he did not say ooh I am a warrior, a fighter, a ruler, who is that, that has dared to take my people? So right now I am going to war, I am going to fight, I am going to kill, I am going to destroy... Immediately David recognized that he has no power of his own, he has no strength of his own, he cannot do it alone—knowing that God is his strength, his power and what did he do? He went straight to God to enquire: father see what has happened, should I pursue this troop? Should I fight this battle? And the Lord said go, you shall pursue, you shall overtake and you shall recover all and you shall not fall.

“David pursued and he overtook in 1 Sam 30:17 - 20. when David depended on God he recovered all according to the promises of God. Let me ask, assuming David did not enquire from God before going after that troop what would have happened to David? Don't take a decision without God”, Enakhena warned.

Still citing David Enakhena said that because David carried the strength of God, because he enquired from God the bible says he won the battle, he slew them all except the ones that flee before the arrival of David and he recovered all that no one survived, no one lost, why? because he carried the strength of God. The man that carries the strength of God cannot fail, one with God is majority.

“You cannot do it yourself.. you cannot do it alone...that power is not available for you...except by the strength of God...except by the power of God—You wake up in the morning you are going for that business and you say that you are already late you cannot pray...you are going with your strength and not with the strength of God—the time you are supposed to have a meeting with God you are pursuing that business where is the result? You embark on that journey, saying I have made up my mind... Who are you to make up your mind without the consent of Jesus? If you make up your mind without the consent of Jesus be ready to fail.

“A man that carries the strength of God cannot be stranded...before your house rent expires God will provide...every problem you are about to face God is already aware and he is providing the solution to the problem.

Enakhena furthered on with correlating his teaching with the scriptures using the book of 1 Sam 17:10,11,43,44,45,46.

He stressed that there's Jesus inside your weakness, inside that sickness, inside that trouble—immediately you recognize Him that sickness goes, that trouble bows.

“Something happened to the Israelites which happens to us everyday—The Philistines sent out a message to put fear in the Israelites...Satan cannot attack a bold man and a man cannot be bold without the fear of God...A man with the Spirit of God cannot be afraid of anything...Saul was afraid because the Spirit of God was no more with him but with David. At this moment David realized the power of God. Let me tell you, let no man prepare you for a spiritual battle—don't undermine what you are holding, see Jesus in what you are holding then His mightiness can now come in—David with a catapult went to battle with a man who is with the complete weapon of war—David did not say there's David in Israel—he gave the battle to God and God put words in his mouth. Immediately the strength of God entered David he became a super natural being”.

Nothing breaks like the heart...nothing is as powerful as the strength of God...this teaching brings one to a startling realisation that nothing is more important than the “know” of the strength of God.

Business / God Demonstrated A Little Beginning In The Beginning, Says Benson Enakhena by Godfreytimesblo(m): 4:16pm On Jan 11, 2019
You cannot prosper with selling fuel when you hate the odour of fuel... Neither can you prosper with teaching or as a teacher if you hate children...

Benson Enakhena, the general overseer of El-Shaddai Salvation Family Ministries (ESFM), says God demonstrated a little beginning in the beginning.

The revered apostle said this on Sunday 6, January 2019 during his preaching on the topic “My Little Beginning”

He said what he discovered years ago is that human race especially we the Blacks, we refuse to start little—people despise you when you start little, they even stay away from you, waiting for you to fold up when you start little—but I want to ask, when God was about to create man in the book of Genesis 1:26 what did he say? Did he say let us create men and women? Did he say let us create men? “When God was creating man it was a little beginning but he had an agenda—you must have an agenda, don't procrastinate this year—when God had an agenda he made man in his own image and likeness—and your little beginning must be something you love—your little beginning can not become something unless you love the beginning—you cannot prosper with selling fuel when you hate the odour of fuel—neither can you prosper with teaching or as a teacher if you hate children—You prosper in what you love—that's why God said let us create man in our image, Even when man deviated God still loved and drew him closer”, Enakhena said.

He went on to say “You will not be ashamed of what you love—anything you are ashamed of your love is not there, if what you are doing now you don't love it change it—even if you are prospering you are going to fall, change it—what you love even if it is difficult start it, the Lord is there to finish with you—even when God created man it was not rosey, man fell apart—God kept on with Man he gave birth to Cain and Abel and even when Cain toed the same vein with Adam God did not give up with Cain—He kept on with Man until he said let me send my only begotten son”, How far have you gone with that little beginning that you begin to discourage yourself? Enakhena asked.

“You must be consistent and available in your little beginning, when God created Adam and Eve the Bible said he will come and worship with them—do you understand that? God was consistent checking them up—even when man derailed and found out he was naked and covered himself with fig leaf—when God came after all the disobedience because God loved them He still carried the skin of an animal to cover them up—God did not say I am not doing again He said I have hope here, it is my image, I love him.

“We abuse our little beginning, we hold it with our left hand—your little beginning there is greatness, this year focus on your little beginning—the Lord said I will bless the work of your hands, the Lord did not say I will bless the NNPC.

“God himself demonstrated a little beginning in the beginning, God had the power to say let me create one million men, one million women—He did not create two but one first.

“When God created Adam he found out that Adam was lonely and He said let us give him a helper and he did not look for the helper elsewhere, the Bible said God make him to fall into a deep sleep and remove a rib from him—let your beginning prosper itself because our God is able.

“Trust and believe in your little beginning. you must take your little beginning serious and must also be faithful with it—let your one be one and your two be two.

“Little beginning often comes with hard work and little help, nobody wants to invest in a little beginning—no Bank will loan you money in your little beginning—it needs hard work—Bank only want to hear from you when they see what they can get from you—little beginning comes with tough resistance—there are so many disappointment and failure in little beginning but as a child of God you must persist. Adding that perseverance has departed from man...We want it hot.

He warned that nevertheless whatever God has called you to do this year do not despise.

Events / 2018 Dtn-tagn:madam Tourism Powers Event To A Huge Success by Godfreytimesblo(m): 7:06am On Nov 22, 2018
There are three kinds of people in life: Those who don’t know what is happening…busy discussing others; Those who watch things happen (spectators); and Those who make things happen. Where do you belong? (There is a need to be active because it is what God sees in your hands He will use to bless you—inactiveness is unacceptable —the Spirit of God is active 24 hours a day—if you are not active you are a failure.) Dynamic personage of excellence, Mrs Omotayo Omotosho(MFR) generally known as Madam Tourism is without doubt in the category of those who make things happen— knowing that to march forward you must make things happen—Madam Tourism, poised with marching Tourism in Nigeria forward, has been active with different activations in the industry and the just-held 2018 Destination Tourism Night was presented under the auspices of one of her initiatives:Towards A Greater Nigeria Foundation—a pioneer promoter of Nigeria’s cultural tourism strength—and this immense involvement was not only hugely contributive to having dignitaries from various sectors attend the event but powered it to the very heights of success many never envisaged it would be.

It is important to note that tourism in Nigeria was like the days of Israelites in Egypt before the advent of Mrs Omotosho’s tourism activation called Towards A Greater Nigeria Foundation that took the sector out of that Egypt-era just as Moses did for Israel.
Till this day, Moses is one of the best intercessors in the bible and Madam Tourism—owing to her valid track records in the industry for over three decades—evidenced her being the best intercessor in the sector by throwing the robustness of her circle of influence, strength and excellence behind the event.
She is a daughter of zion, a doer of God’s word and a mother in the industry to the Executive Producer, Travelogue Communications Limited, Ayo Omotoso—initiator of the event who has also been active with promoting Nigeria’s strength in tourism having gotten inspiration from the tales of Abraham, Moses, and Joseph who according to the scriptures were never found idle but active.

The tourism entertainment event—coined as touritainment held on Sunday 28, October at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos, revealed how ready we are as a nation to march forward in the world’s biggest industry with an overwhelming turnout—a mammoth crowd converged to evidence the beginning of a success story in Nigerian Tourism.
The event was hosted by TVC’s Esther Omopariola and Comedic Mcee-Kay C.
Chief Host of the event, Madam Tourism welcomed dignitaries of great superiority, Ambassadors, Ministers, Traditional Rulers, tourism enthusiasts and many others who attended with a welcome address that was a short prose.

Madam Tourism described the turnout of the event as what speaks volume on how ready Nigeria is to get to the front burner and rejigged attendees with needful valid points that was governed with a good will message “Let’s go explore the low hanging fruits” in this prose.
“Let’s celebrate what we have got…don’t let us be looking at things that are pretty far”, she said.
“Don’t let us be waiting till every infrastructure will be in place…we wouldn’t wait marketing Nigeria until we get all that—it will be suicidal if we wait because other nations are not waiting—Anambra State is not waiting—Cross River State is not waiting—even Lagos State they are not waiting…why should we wait as individuals? Why should we wait as tourism enthusiasts and tour operators? Madam Tourism asked.

She ended her prose by telling everyone that what she calls low hanging fruits are basically our rich cultural tourism products—our festivals: New yam festival, Argungu festival, Kano Durbar Festival, Osun Osogbo Festival, Black Heritage festival, Eyo Festival and many others.

DTN-TAGN was absolutely a definite touritainment event of performances of zenith class from Gifted Steppers of Ikorodu; Poetic Lyricist Akeem Lasisi; and Drum Goddess ARA.
Comedic thriller, Seyi Law dazzled attendees with his comical strength.
Tourism products like Fashion, Shoes, Arts and many others were exhibited aplenty at the Tourism Exhibition Market by Adire Lounge, Stitches by IMAK, Willie Jones Couture, one of Nigeria’s leading Fashion Brand –AY Stitches, OG Wears, Sky View Communications, Peacefulsky, Properties Everywhere, My Beautiful Africa, Longrich, Energy Smart Nigeria(esng).
Chief tourism enthusiasts who have made and still making impacts in the sector were honored with an award and unveiled as Tourism Edge - Travelogue Ambassadors:H.E Willie Obiano, Governor, Anambra State; HON. Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja were honored for tourism development; Dr Raphael James got recognition for Educational tourism while Dr Newton Jibunor, a celebrated environmentalist was unveiled as an Ambassador.

Nigerian Mandopop Singer in China, Emmanuel Uwechue generally admired by the Chinese communities in Asia and across the globe as Hao Ge, received his award as a Global Music Tourism Icon in China, Asia, and the Globe at large.

Culture / Bolarinwa Seyon James Foundation Promotes Youth Community Service In Badagry by Godfreytimesblo(m): 9:01pm On May 02, 2018
The Bolarinwa Seyon James (BSJ) Foundation is delighted to inform the public about the success of 'Operation Clean Badagry’, which was held on Saturday, 21st April.

We visited and cleaned the historical 'Badagry Town Hall' which was organised by Bolarinwa Seyon James (BSJ) Foundation, to help promote an act of community service and progression in Badagry. A tremendous number of youths across Badagry volunteered their time to rejuvenate the monumental Town Hall, the dedication shown was overwhelming and inspiring. ‘Operation Clean Badagry’ started in the early hours of Saturday morning with Sonayon James (Founder/CEO of BSJ Foundation) who opened the event by addressing the youths on the objective of programme, what it intends to achieve, along with other future plans and goals. The BSJ Foundation officials and youths displayed share enthusiasm and energy, despite lengthy hours spent cutting the grass, sweeping hallways, cleaning windows, washing toilets, collecting the trash and disposing other unwanted waste which were polluting the environment. There were moments during recess from activities, where BSJ Foundation officials had the opportunity to interact with the community’s youth to gain better understanding on their current situation and future aspirations, our officials were readily available to listen to their queries and provide advice. All activities from start to finish were well co-ordinated and the result was outstanding.

The relentless effort contributed by all parties involved, toward their community and the task in hand, also drew in more attention from other youths and families in the area, which led to multiple volunteer requests to join (BSJ) Foundation’s next program. The anticipation expressed for our upcoming community program later this year – ‘BSJ: Badagry Visitation & Charity Fair’, only goes to show that the youth of today still want to contribute to improving their community, but they simply need guidance and focus to lead them towards a positive path. BSJ Foundation is fully dedicated to nurturing our youths into a more brighter and successful future. Sonayan James (Founder/CEO of BSJ Foundation) gave a powerful closing speech to thank and inspire the youths of Badagry, she asked them to always give 100% to serving their community, so Badagry’ s heritage is preserved through history and many more years to come.

Well done BSJ Foundation and the Youths of Badagry – onwards and upwards!

Celebrities / INTERVIEW: I Will Bring Home The Grammy, Says Reggae Delight by Godfreytimesblo(m): 1:50pm On Apr 30, 2018
Oge Kimono, daughter of fabled reggae icon, Ras Kimono says she will be bringing home the grammy in 3yrs and wants to attain a world wide recognition with her music.

"Jah give I strength, grace and wisdom I want to attain a world wide recognition with my music", the stunning reggae delight told Godfreytimes in an interview and shared what she has been doing and yet to do and more about herself.

Godfreytimes:Could you kindly tell us your name and your background?

Oge:My name is Oge Kimono a reggae musician and the first offspring of the Legendary Reggae Icon Ras Kimono. I was born in Ikeja General hospital sometime in the 80s. I grew up in Aba, Abia state with my Grandmother Jah bless her soul. Did my basic nursery, primary and part of my secondary eduation there till I moved to Akwa Ibom state to finish off after her death. Growing up as a kid was so much fun as my Grandma like I fondly called her made sure I didn't lack parental care while my parents were away pursuing their dreams. My childhood was like that of a princess as my parents also made sure I never lacked nothing as a kid. From toys to bicycles you name it everything that interests a child I was provided with so I guess all of that did make up for their absence.
when did you find out about your interest in music?
As a teenager I had always found entertainment very interesting from dancing to singing. Growing as a kid who was raised by Grandma, my love for singing use to make her have me entertain her friends whenever they came by to the house especially during festive period. Ofcourse I also joined the church choir at some point back then but was very active in my school choir from primary school up until my secondary school days. It was after my basic education that I joined my dad's band and that was the very first time I performed in a concert. This was sometime in 2001/2002 if I am correct. It was a gig at the prestigious ikoyi club.

Godfreytimes:Could you kindly bring us up to speed on what you have been doing and what you are yet to do?

Oge:Well I have been fostering my solo career since I moved back to Nigeria in 2010 and it has been a hell of a journey and also a learning process. I had done songs like Drum & Bass which got a good air rotation and publicity, Safe, Injustice, Addicted and Main Chick are also songs I have put out tho they didnt do well as the former. Reasons being i had divided attention as i was running a part time program with University of Abuja and also running a business at some point in Akwa Ibom state so I didn't give the music the full concentration it deserved. Currently I am working on my debut album now that I am done with school and the business is on hold in the mean time. The album which is a full time roots and lovers rock will include features with a couple of home based and international act. I will love to tell you all the names but let me keep that as a surprise 

Godfreytimes:Correct me if I am wrong, I sense you are one with varieties of interest... what else do you have a passion for that's most likely going to drive you to greatness besides music?

Oge:That is very correct. Asides music I am a business oriented individual and also tend to tow the path of activism. I never knew I would get to this point as politics never really did interest me when I was younger because I have always seen it as a dirty game but the truth is we all are involved one way or the other. I am blessed to have the talent of music which is a good platform I can use to express myself and talk about the ills and goods of the society. My interest in activism sparked up from 2011 during the Occupy Nigeria protest that occured back then and ever since then though not so active I have never been afraid to air my opinion about things whenever I get the opportunity to. I believe it is my civic duty as a citizen of Nigeria to speak up and speak out when things are going south.

Godfreytimes:What influenced you into music?

Oge:I dont think I needed to be influenced into music because music found me. I was born into it so what more can I say... The likes of Raskimono, Bobmarley, Laurynhill, Queen Ifrica, Tarrus Riley to mention a few are people I look up to in the music industry.

Godfreytimes:Would you like to be associated with the shadow of your father's stardom or distant yourself from it like some children of celebrities do?

Oge:When you say shadow of my father how do mean? I cant erase the fact that I am his daughter and I am towing the path he has towed just like every other parent wants their kids to take after them my case is nevertheless different. I am an individual and person of my own that I do reggae music does not mean I am in my father's shadow. We have a legacy that has to be kept and I am doing my part. If you listen to my sounds you will notice the slight difference between my father and I. We both do reggae music yes but our styles are different though its still the same message we ah preach.

Godfreytimes:What height of attainment do you intend to get to with this?

Oge:I have been saying to all around me and those who care to listen that I will be bringing home the grammy in 3yrs. Jah give I strength, grace and wisdom! So yeah I want to attain a world wide recognition with my music.

Godfreytimes:What's the name of your upcoming album?

Oge:My team and I have been playing with a couple of names but haven't come to a definite one yet... when the team does y'all will be the first to know.

Godfreytimes:What would be your first single and could you kindly tell us about it?

Oge:I have recorded a couple of songs but just like the title of the album we also haven't decided which song will be the first single.

Godfreytimes:What is the album all about?

Oge:The message of the album is LOVE because its the greatest commandment Jah gave to man

Godfreytimes:Have you done any collaboration with an international act before and if yes who?

Oge:Collaboration as a solo artist no, not yet but as a back up vocalist I got the privilege to work on a couple of songs with the likes of Tuklan a german based duo who did songs with Beenie Man and Anthony B and also worked with a German Reggae act Uwe Banton where I got to work on a song he featured Luciano on. But as a solo act not yet. Its definitely in the works for the album though.

Godfreytimes:How would you describe your own style of music as regards reggae?

Oge:I am the new generation reggae. I make my sound more appealing to the younger generation as well as the older ones.

Godfreytimes:Your first performance in concert... How was the feeling?

Oge:The feeling was ecstatic ... my nerves were all over the place but once I got on the stage it became something else. I am born for this!

Godfreytimes:You moved back to Nigeria in 2010 from where?

Oge:Germany

Godfreytimes:What is your message to reggae lovers in Nigeria, Africa and beyond?

Oge:The message of Love, Unification and Peace

Godfreytimes:Tell us about Summer Jam

Oge:Summer Jam is the biggest reggae festival in Europe and I was opportuned to be on that stage in 2010 with a renowned German Reggae Artist Uwe Banton. Apart from Summer jam I have performed at other festivals such as Ruhr Reggae, Chiemsee to mention a few... have also been privileged to work and tour with Rocky Dawuni an international Ghanian reggae artist based in America and with our own home act Ade Bantu.

By Godfrey Igboin and Iloaze Blessed-Odidi

ABEOKUTA ㅡ When Governor Amosun beat the drum to commence the thrid edition of the African Drums Festivals 2018, performers from across Nigeria and Africa went agog and attendees were not left out in the excitement as they watched the performers dance exuberantly to the rhythms coming from different drums as Africans danced in oneness on the drum stage of magnificent look.

The three-day event held at the Cultural Centre, brought together individuals aplenty - Adedotun Gbadebo, Alake of Egba land; Lamidi Adeyemi III, The Alaafin of Oyo; Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife; The Etubom Ekpo, Obong of Calabar; Lai Mohammed, minister of Information and Culture; Wole Soyinka,Nobel Laureate and many others.

It was a marvelous evening and it carried on that way with performers from across Nigeria having attendees dazzled with renditions of various procession to better thrill everyone.

Day-two was all about sounds of magnificent thrills by performers from countries across the continent and this brought back the previous day of captivating scenery of Africans in one dance on the drum-stage and stirred up thoughts of Africans having varieties of rhythms just as we have resources but we rarely identify with them and that diminishes the uniqueness of our heritage, according to one participant of the festival.

It was gathered that business also thrived at the African Drums Festival 2018 and this was made known to Traveloguetv by Bolanle Akindele of Stitches by IMAK. Mrs. Akindele a creative personality who does more of unique stitching and attends to people's needs said that sales has been booming.

Kemi Akinola of Arewa TM also disclosed to traveloguetv that the patronage has been very encouraging owing to awesome sales made so far at the ADF 2018 ㅡ evidently, this seconds the perspective of tourism as a serious business.

Commissioner for indigenous Art Works, Culture and Tourism, Diaspora Affairs, Anambra State, Mrs Sally Mbanefo danced approvingly well to different rhythms of the sophisticated instrument that africanised the atmosphere and identified with what the drum is to the people of ogun state. "This festival will be sustained because we will support them..We will give our support", Mrs.Mbanefo said to Ms Iloaze dancing her way to the Atilogwu dancers of Anambra.

Trending on, is the talk of tourism potentials being identified as unending but with those in the know of this realisation, coming up with different captions. The recent caption now is tourism is the new direction and this is credited to Edo state Commissioner for Arts, Culture,Tourism & Diaspora, Osaze Osemwegie-Ero. "Tourism in Nigeria should be the new direction trending for every economy or country", Mr.Osemwegie-Ero said.

The final day ended with fireworks of beautiful colours that beautified the evening sky and this gave a good ending feeling to everyone. Cash prize was won by performers .

Ofadaboy, Tobi Fletcher whose father was the first to plant the ofada rice (which is why he proudly calls himself ofadaboy) was also at the African Drums Festival 2018 to support the event with entreprenuership aid ㅡ owing to his believe that as an entrepreneur he should support Nigeria even through food, he ensured the ADF 2018 had his ofada taste and with him was soured garri, fish, prawns and with Ayamase sauce for the ofada rice.

Travel / The Magnitude Of Tourism 一 A Positive Paradigm Shift, Says Omotosho by Godfreytimesblo(m): 10:09am On Apr 17, 2018
It has been trending, that is, talk of tourism potentials being identified as unending, which also cannot be quantified, will remain so because activities to drive its trend have been on and more is set to come up as a whole lot is lined up for the rest of the year. To second the trending perspective, Tourism-spirited personality, Ayo Omotoso during an interview at the presidential suite of Jubilee Chalets, has descrided the magnitude of tourism in Nigeria.

Omotoso said that; Yes it's evidently unending and we are yet to harness it. The magnitude of tourism in Nigeria, if tapped into, can give the country's economy a positive paradigm shift that would yield growth in every sector.

"The good news is, we are awake to it now more than the past and it is a needful start to the tapping of the potentials but we must remain consistent with tourist-driven activities to enable the merging of continuity with the showcasing of the untapped potentials".

"We can thrive greatly with tourism if we improve on the current enthusiast that we are displaying and identify with the media positively".

Culture / I Am Poised To Have The Youths Begin To Initiate The Change We Hope To See by Godfreytimesblo(m): 5:38am On Apr 07, 2018

In a Nigeria of no-youth involvement in politics and the years of absence in the spheres of political leadership which the youths have been dwelling in, has built the minds of many into resolving that political leadership is for elders but recent developments around the world of politics has awakened them into knowing that is absolutely false...

Away from politics and into rescuing the youths from the entirety of waiting to be helped or having absolutely no iota of interest for personal development and many other related negativities the youths are existing in, there is great need for youth advocates to help drive our youths into yearning to be prospective in various areas of strength and further have them driven consistently into wanting to be impactful through varieties of empowerment, rather than being in the spheres of blame-layers and other negative departments in the institution of life–Damilola Sonayon James, Founder and CEO of BSJ Foundation cum Executive Director of DGS Chauffeurs, is an innovative-driven Youth Advocate, who as a youth Advocate has been working towards the enhancement of our youth's critical areas of life.

Godfreytimes understands that Overtime she found ways to be more aware and care for the environment/community as well as the people around them and also, ways to help the youths to be aware and care for their community as well as the people around and understanding their responsibility as a youth.

"Having realised that we can't leave the future of Nigeria to our leaders alone, I am heavily poised to have the youths begin to initiate the change we hope to see and I believe there is no better way to enforce this other than Advocating and empowering the youths who are willing to add value to their community", Sonayon was quoted as saying.

"Advocating for the youth is a valid innovation I execute with BSJ Foundation and with the presence of my passion, greatness is forthcoming because passion drives greatness and the youths' increased state of personal development, value-added empowerment and being prospective in mind is part of the greatness I speak of." she added.

Sonayon who has been actively speaking on several seminars on youth advocacy, is having a hugely packed youth empowerment program coming up in August and Godfreytimes is going to have full coverage of the two-week event.

Events / You Cannot Use Your Wisdom To Run Your Marriage 一 It Is A Big Responsibility by Godfreytimesblo(m): 9:44am On Apr 01, 2018
OYO STATE , IBADAN - It's been said that where purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. When you don't understand the purpose of marriage you will abuse it.
Have you asked God am I supposed to get married? Is marriage in your purpose? Olushola asked members of the New Covenant Church during his talk on "What Men need to know", he emphasized the place of THE MAN and told them that you cannot use your wisdom to run your marriage, and described it as a big responsibility.

Participants of the event themed: A Day with Our Wives, were made to know that "marriage can be described in so many ways but the truth is that marriage is a choice."

"You were sent here for a purpose, you cannot run after marriage and forget that purpose because purpose is greater than marriage", Olushola was quoted as saying.

"You cannot use your wisdom to run marriage, no government can legislate marriage. If you want your marriage to work, you need to go back to the scriptures". Marriage is not From the earth, it predates culture, tradition and religion.

Olushola further added that marriage is a big responsibility and that you have to know God and secure His help to succeed. Any man that cannot take responsibility for a woman has no business in marriage.

It is "The Man" and not "A Man" that is not good to be alone. Some men need to be alone until they are actually ready for marriage as the fact that you can put a woman in a family way does not qualify you to be a husband. You are as best a spam donor. Husbandhood is different from Manhood.

"We are the next father to our wives".

Having had attendees of the event and his valid insights engaged, Olushola interested them with 'the place of man' in the house.

"Marriage is a field where your patience will be tested, If you fail then your strength is little.
Man is the prophet of the house, it is not by saying I am the head. It is by your actions. "
A prophet speaks about the future, you must be able to paint a picture of a better tomorrow for your wife and children.

" We must know that where we are failing is where our wives are misbehaving.
You are the Leader, you are not on the same level with your wife on the family structure. The higher you are on the organogram the higher your responsibility and so your authority. If you share responsibility get ready to share authority. You cannot give responsibility without authority. Men rise up!! Don't fly on the same level with your wives" there will be a lot of clashes. Let her be able to look up to you as her source as you look up to Christ. Olushola urged the men vehemently.

"Man is the minister in charge. Where men sleep, the enemy will strike. Know that you were not called to be served, you were called to serve."

The renowned therapist whose unique insights was like a valid dose for sick marriages and a helpful enlightenment for the married and yet to get married, further charged men not to be threatened by the success of their wives.

"Don't ever be threatened by the success of your wife because your wife cannot become who she is without your efforts".

You are the Leader

"Having said that, please note that if man won't lead the wife won't follow. The problem is that most men are not leading so our wives don't follow. If you are not somebody that can lead, you will not be followed".

You are the Protector

Known for not garnishing truth with ingenuity, Olushola shocked attendees by having them know how high he places his wife.
"There's nothing worth losing your family for. My wife is more important to me than the church. Family first after God".

Before he started his teaching, Olutayo prayed for God's projection and not his own intellects, knowing that the heart of man is a kingdom that should have one ruler, which is God. But there are two rulers in life, which is God and the devil. Who is the ruler of your Kingdom? God has spoken to kingdoms through Olushola, if God is the ruler of those kingdoms, would-be and marital lives should have experienced a dynamic change.

Still in the place of man in the house, He described man as the priest.

"Man is the priest but so many men leave the issue of priesthood down for their wives. The priesthood belongs to the Man. Offer sacrifices on behalf of your family, pray and bless them daily. Lead them to worship and follow God in obedience.

"Man needs to know his place and his place in marriage. The head is where the eyes, ear and mouth is, you must know what is palatable for your home".
"See your family as a nation. Man is the chief security officer, the president of the home".
The family assumes who you are. Your family is who you are.

"Man is the minister of resources so you are the provider. If your wife provides anything, she's only helping you".

"Give women sadness and they will give eternal sorrow. Give them freedom and they will give deliverance". The day I showed my wife my payslip and my account she stopped asking me the money I have not earned.
"Men need to grow beyond ego and need to know they don't know it all. So work with your wife as a team. Let the better person handle the task.

Husband be to your wife like christ to the church. Jesus didn’t wait for us to gain salvation before he gave his life for us". Dont wait till your wife is perfect before you love her.

After engaging the men Olutayo shifted to the wives before ending his teaching and have them know that there's a king and a fool inside a man. If you speak to him as a king, he will respond to you as such but if you speak to him as a fool then you will get a fool's response.

Olushola said despising your husband is despising your God.

He encouraged women to be magnified in their home and never feel inferior
and also encouraged them to habituate in the following

Pray for your husband.

Respect your husband.

Utmost companionship to your husband.

Give encouragement.

Utmost sex. Everything grows in marriage including sex.

Help your husband. Help him in all ramifications.

Refrain from giving unsolicited help.
