Like someone said above, you have done the right thing. Thank God you have 2 accounts, the initiative and swiftness to do that.

The problem actually is that some accounts officers need your money always to remain in your account for them to meet personal targets set for them by the bank. They also prefer that you should do a fixed/term deposit with them too instead of moving the money to TB. So when it comes to TB, they try to frustrate your efforts so that the money can remain there.
Very true

For secondary you don't need to wait till next week though. The rate may be a little lower than primary. I actually did secondary with Stanbic bank this week.

If i was offered 19 percent when i invested in Tbill, and rate dropped along the line. The day my contract expires and rate. Is 9 percent, will i be expecting 9 percent profit or still 19 percent?
The old rate (19 percent) stands.

No written agreement. For the NEPA bill, The caretaker told me it will be deducted from next year house rent. The repair done in the house was done on my own account and for my own conviniency with the hope that I'll be staying in the apartment for at least 5 years.
Stevyne:
No need for lawyers!
Just ask them to refund your money to you.

PropertiesRe: My House Sold Without A Quit Notice To The Tenants by GodgraciousR: 2:52pm On Apr 22, 2021
Good afternoon house. Pls I really need your advice especially from lawyers on this matter. I just rented a 3 bedroom apartment. After paying for the rent including the outrageous agreement and commission fee and repairing the house with over 500 000 naira. I even paid the outstanding power bill of almost 200, 000, which the caretaker said will be deducted from next year rent. This is where my question comes in. I was just informed that the house is up for sale, of which I was not informed before paying and potential buyers have been coming around. When I asked the caretaker and the landlord himself , they both confirmed the house is up for sale . I was to pack in this month ,but the caretaker pleaded with me that I should give him till end of this month to see how things turn out between them and the potential buyers. Pls what do you expect I do now. How do I get back my house rent, money spent in repairing the aparment , The NEPA bill, agent and commission fee and all . Thanks.

Just to add a lil to this discussion..If u re building a rental property from my lil experience you do not have to build really to taste cos MOST times there is a limit to how much our people that will rent it from you will pay , this idea has really helped me over the yrs ..except na personal home
I guess maybe urs (jejebaba) is a private home
Also the way most of our people dey do house by the time they leave your property is not good

For me those days i just did basics..Some tenants do not know the value of ur properties..
Exactly.

Please which year was this building built and what was the finishing taste like. Was the house fenced, interlocked, litespan or Auminium roofing sheet, was the rooms tiled cos i spent almost 3.5M alone on tiles for the building not to talk of POP, wardrobes for each rooms, kitchen cabinets and the likes.
It was completed in 2016/2017. It was fenced, interlocked and with aluminum roof sheet. All the rooms are tiled. All rooms ensuite and with Wardrobes (block style ) .
Kitchen Cabinets too.

'' it either they cheated you in the project or you over paid for land a building wort 36m will bring in 1.8 m-2m as annually .....while a building of 20 will bring in 1m .....that 5he hiidden rule (expect if their is wars or external factor like sudden road..''
You are sure right about this. The cost of building our house at Shagam Ogun state was around 10m, and it brings a little above 600 thousand per annum. It is 2 units of 2bedroomflat and 1unit of 3 Bedroom Flat.
