Very soon, every company that is in the news, no matter how positive or progressive, would be accused of ''monkey hunting'' just to satisfy the whims and caprices of some people.
Oando, Seplat, Aradel and other oil and gas upstream companies will be in the news for sometime to come because the IOCs are divesting away from Nigeria and selling their oil assets to these local companies.

I have decided to leave oando talks till next week. You can enjoy your MH until next week

I expect all the media crews of oando to start their hustles as usual

Can you help me understand why this is a good move by Oando? Is the refining business really that profitable? If so, why is the government of Trinidad selling its refinery? It obviously won't serve Nigeria, as we already have Dangote's refinery, and several others will come online soon. I don’t see Nigeria importing refined products in the future.

I thought Oando’s equity was in negative territory—wouldn’t it be better for them to focus on achieving profitability before stretching their finances again? This move would make sense if they were already involved in refining and this was a way to expand into Central and South America. In my opinion, it may not end well. There might be a short-term bullish effect on the stock, but what about the long term?

They don't mind circulating old news just to market it. The politics around it and media hypes is what people are buying for the moment so they have to keep dishing out recycled news to keep the price within a particular range until it gets to their target so they can raise funds from the same people that have not benefited anything since they started this wayo years back. Trading on NASD App
You can't use your cscs details on NGX to trade on NASD.

To trade using the app, first open a NASD csc account with any of the stockbroker that has NASD license, then download the app and while registering on the app, provide your NASD details not NGX details. NASD will contact your stockbroker to confirm your identity, once that is done, you will have access to trade on any NASD stocks, you fund your account directly to the app and do your buy/sell; any trasaction down will be sent to your stockbroker and be captured in your NASD inhouse account with your stockbroker. Trading on NASD is linked with your stockbroker at the backend.
To open a NASD cscs, click the 3rd link on my signature to complete the online registration.
However, immediately you complete the online registration, send a mail with your full name to inform the customer care that your registration is for NASD because the default is NGX cscs or you can contact me to send NASD account opening form to you.
