Whichever way, you are correct, the Afrexim loan to Elumelu is a related party transaction; UBA backed several Afrexim loans, including the one taken by FG. All these guarantees will be included in the provisions. Unfortunately, the AFS won't list the names of the debtors. Elumelu indirectly used UBA funds to buy Seplat shares.

Please house I placed a bid to sell my UBA shares by exactly 10am this morning. but when I opened the sell order it is showing executing but below there is a message showing “(308) minimum prize step 0.05 step”?
Second question why did the stock go down to 49.50 before the market opened today before 10am?
Any advice on how to go about successfully selling my stocks today?

Is this not a loss if we don’t consider the other income of which are from FX gain and the gain on the acquisition ?
The admin expenses alone have wiped away the gross profit and we have not even considered the finance cost yet. The normalized loss is even bigger this year

As hurtful as it may sound, I think there should be transparency in the dealings as well.....
Those guys have been hoarding info and hiding some details concerning the buy over...
Just yesterday or so, about 27.7% was done in Off Market Deals....
