Sagogo99:called a friend that works in skyebank and you are right one can't pay with form A for now. It's best you just get it through black market and make your payment of if you know someone here you trust, you could ask him to help you pay or ask around for some boys who will trade by paying your fees for you here while you pay into their 9ja account.. I am working on something with near east to make payment of tuition easy for students coming to near east, will update as soon as it's done . If you must contact anybody make sure you confirm everything and shine your eyes. |
Sagogo99:pay your fees using the form A and you can withdraw with your naira master card in any currency depending on the ATM machine.. Withdrawing is slightly higher than cbn rate plus cards have limits per month. It's adviceable to get like 3 ATM cards to triple your limit. |
Sagogo99:you are welcome |
Sagogo99:social activity fee €100, if you check my previous post you will get all the details about housing here in Lefkosia.its cheaper to share a flat than get a one bedroom, normally utility bill are btw 100-180tl that's about 10k a month it could be cheaper depending on how you use electricity, washing machine etc. that will be shared by the occupants of that flat. If you get a 3bedroom and share with two other people your bill will be an average of 100pounds a month. |
Sagogo99:every international student gets a 50% scholarship to study @NEU except for medical students. |
Alikote:lol... graduate assistant, although you also have to come prepared financially.
|
Alikote:there are school jobs available for a masters and Ph.D. Students. |
Alikote:just left the office , it will be accepted . |
Alikote:not in their listed requirement but it depends it could be accepted, I'll be in school tommorow and will confirm that and give you the response. |
Back from vacation, it feels good to be back. Admission is still on at Near East University. Guess I have missed a lot . Questions keep coming in, here to help as always. |
lexycool01:you are welcome. |
eben1991:you can apply by June, you need your transcripts, Bsc, Waec or Neco and your international passport data page. |
lexycool01:@lexicool I believed I answered you when you mailed me, just tell your uncle to ask the person printing to reprint till the day he had 3million plus, that way his balance stays up to that as of that day and since it's still less than one month from that day you will be fine, trust me on that, if he has had good transfers of up to 2mill at once in the past then he can transfer that or do what @Ugochukwu deposit with different names if possible and you print after some few days you will be fine. That's based on experience.trust me closing balance is very important, I helped some people for canada and it is very important because even if you paid a full year tuition fee, you still have tickets that cost above 200k coupled with other living expenses.you presented your uncle as the sponsor but would it be reasonable that he has less than 500k and all will be given to you?? We are lucky that Turkish embassy ain't Canadian embassy, if not they would also check what he needs to take care of the family or business depending on what the case may be. Do what I asked and you will be fine. |
adetoola:I'd ratter advice to to tell him to write the letter, stating he will sponsor you through out your studies and you should also state that you wount seek for job or schorlaship from any institution. Then let him take the details to the typist at the court premises, they will put it in their format, make sure you both sign. it would be taking to the right authorities for signing and stamping. It's about 700-1000k to get it done in Lagos. It wount be addressed to the embassy. |
barack32:I'll advice you come here first and make sure you meet with landlord before any payment and try to shine your eyes oo. |
EFFECTIVE WAYS TO CUT DOWN ACCOMODATION COST IN NORTH CYPRUS. Standard Dom accommodation (a room with 4 beds for 4 occupants and you will share bathroom ,toilet and kitchen with people on that floor)cost €900 per semester + €200 deposit =€1100 or €1400 + €200 for two semesters, plus an additional €600 for summer =€2200 or N440k a year for accommodation @ Near East University. The other option is to get an accommodation off campus.perferably a 3bedroon also known as 3+1 here in Cyprus. (It has toilet bathroom, it's fully furnished with A.C, washing machine, oven , Gas cooker etc) and that cost range €375 - €450 a month. ( I am using euro due to the school mode of payment, it's usually in pounds or Turkish Lira but that's the equivalent. That's about €4500 - €5400 a year plus the usual 1month rent deposit and 1month agency fee, that's €5250 - €6300 a year, the rent deposit will be collected when leaving as long as you don't damage anything and there are usuall electricity bill and water bill monthly. Now the point is 4 people share a room in the Dom and they pay €2200 a year which is a total of €8800 a year with less comfort, that's €2950 - €1900 more than a 3+1 with more comfort. The main deal is that most average students here share a room which means €5250 - €6300 could be shared between 6 people. If it's been shared between 6people = €875 - €1050 a year for accommodation, that means you will be saving a lot. The school always provides free 3days accommodation to new students after been picked at the airport. The 3days is used to decide if you will stay in the dorm or look for an accommodation off campus. The only catch is you will need little time get to know your way around here but you can't get lost. Outside accommodations are been paid monthly, some landlords take 2-6months rent. I hope this helps someone out there. |
diportivo:Thanks bro. I'll take your advice and this will be my last post on this topic. thanks to those who've stood by me. It means a lot.. I really appreciate. |
Presh18:@presh I have done nothing but help you and I have never asked you for money, those who have helped know that I have never done that. Infact I have even helped some financially but that is between me and God. Please if you want me to guide you on how to take a snap shot with your phone, I'm willing to assist, if not please let it end here. Enough is Enough I'm more than fed up already. |
you emailed a guy who mentioned my name? You are the same person who came to this forum saying you were almost duped by an agent in Nigeria who also mentioned Mrwip claiming to know him..correct me if I am wrong. So if you contact someone and they mention a name on this forum simply means they are partners? This is a public forum and anyone can come in here to see the names here and mention them. |
godsong: |
Presh18:Cyprus.educonsult@gmail.com, who's email is that ? Everyone on this forum knows my email which is godsong29@gmail.com, I don't have any partner neither do I know anything about any support pages. Sorry Presh18 that is not me, you have the wrong guy. |
Presh18:first of all I don't use a Nigerian number on Whatsaap , please post the chat. |
justwise:you have just shot your self in the leg, I have never asked anyone to pay for helping them get admission to north Cyprus , I don't even do Ciu to start with , if you claim that I have asked you to pay 30,000 that's a big lie, Infact am fed up with you making things up, if you were to pay for my services trust me it wont be 30,000 naira. @justwise am fed up with this lies. |
Dreamcome2ru:@dreamcome2ru I understand you, everyone on this forum who has contributed greatly has posted their e-mail address which people contact them through because that's the only way people can send their documents for application since they can't post it here. You can read back through this forum and you will know that is a fact. Maybe i over posted mine which I'll work on. The truth is those I tell to contact me are those who asked me to help with the application.i have taken your complaint into account and i'll try to be more transparent while contributing to this great forum. |
justwise:not you @justwise |
justwise:you have issues , I don't have time and am not as idle as you are and wount waste more time on this issue, people pay people to get them admission and I do it for free everyone I have helped here I have helped for free without charges, oh now it's me encouraging people to use fake documents at the embassy ? this is clearly business related issue, I understand lots of people are competing to help students get admission because of the commission involved , I don't know why people get jealous so easily, it started with me getting students and now this.i wount stress on this issue anymore. |
orimolafe:@orimolafe what are you getting at? First of all no illegal medics can pass the airport and it's at least 2-3 airport from Nigeria to Cyprus. Did you have to open a new account to post such accusation? If you are so sure about your self why did you have to open an account just for this? First it was @penroll accusing me of coming here to only recruit students instead of advising them which I always do and now this. What would be the next thing? What will be my next accusation? Human trafficking? |
orimolafe:my advice is don't help anybody bring such medicine or drugs that needs a medical report, if you have to, ensure it has a medical report or better still don't help bring. |
Merry Christmas everyone and a prosperous new year.
|
lexycool01:I had to address this issue and I don't think it's true , I got an email from my Nigerian bank stating the new limits per month via withdrawing with ATM or transactions with POS, one thing I know is if this was true anyone with a Nigerian bank account that receives email messages from their bank would have gotten this message just like we all did with the BVN , besides baning the use of master card or Visa card is impossible and its against banking policies the only thing .the only issue that came with the mail was the limit and the fact that it clearly stated withdraw in the currency of your location. You guys don't have to panic, there will be no ban on ATM cards. |
My advice to anyone coming to North Cyprus to school , make sure you have funds for study and accommodation, it's a beautiful island but jobs are not easy to get here compared to countries like canada and U.S.A. The truth is the grass is greener only where you sprinkle water, in other words it could be greener if you work hard and also focus on studies.speaking Turkish is an advantage to getting jobs here but that's doesn't mean if you don't speak Turkish you wount get jobs, I know people who are working , it's about you bending your self a little , most people crowd the restaurant sector for jobs and the truth is they can't take everyone, I have adviced someone in the past to work in a shop that repairs A.C and he was getting paid, his salary 1300tl a month if he works full time, that's 90k naira , yes it's not enough to cover all you expenses but it will go a long way as long as your life style is not flashy. There are opportunities if we think out of the box, there are thousands of male blacks here and they cut their hair every week for for 20 to 30tl ( 1400 - 2100 naira ) the craziest thing is that there are very few whites who know how to cut black mans hair especial in Lefkosia. I have been on queue of 12 waiting in turn just to cut my hair, learning how to cut hair in Nigeria is like 2weeks, same thing goes for females , I am not here to give people false hope or anything , but the bitter truth is that life is not easy anywhere and most importantly life is all about choices and taking calculated risk.. I know people who where nothing in Nigerian and they will tell you that they are grateful to God for coming here, the thing is if you make it here and finish your studies you have a lot to gain. Your journey does not end here, people I know have left here for the USA,Canada and other European countries for master and Ph.D. I am not trying to sugar coat anything but the truth is bitter, nothing is easy in this world. It's always safer to have sponsor to back you to study here I don't dispute that. If you have a plan and North Cyprus fits into it then go for it. I am grateful to God a million times that i left Nigeria. I am only speaking for my self. I hope this message helps someone. Thank you |
