kennykale:Write to SARU, Subject Access Request Unit and you get your lost refusal letters within 30 days |
justwise:Thank you Sir. I just hope they come back fast with their position. Even if the cash does not hit my account this year I will fine as far as I don't defer again till May. More wisdom , bro |
Patnuel2015:Many thanks , brother. I have some funds to pay another deposit and go ahead with the process. Pls what is the best way to handle Ulster without losing my deposit? should I asked for refund straight away or wait until they exhaust their process. They have alot of applications so I think they want to put me aside while they fill their cohort. I just want to be proactive I won't waste the January intake. Thank you once again for your response. @Justwise @Bababay and all gurus in the house, I got an offer from Ulster, paid deposit and awaiting CAS interview. I did the application myself but was assigned an agent for the rest of the process. The agent said the university may refund my deposit because I had two previous UK visitors visa refusals. I don't want someone who is not an ECO to determine my fate. I have offers from two other universities. What is the implication if I make another deposit is any of those schools instead of waiting for Ulster to return my deposit when it would have been too late to apply through other unis this January? Your professional advise will be treasured. |
Funky88: They do it in all health centres in Portharcourt. Just give them your age and they will let you know if you require attestation or the normal birth certificate. |
Many thanks for this link. I have tried to apply for decision letter via this link but got stuck at the point where a UK address was requested. Please advise on how someone not resident in the UK can make this application. Thank you quote author=Babababy post=106612018] You can request your immigration history from UKVI, one month is stated as the time frame for getting the information to you but it might come sooner . https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-for-personal-data-uk-visas-and-immigration/request-personal-information-held-by-uk-visas-and-immigration
|
Good afternoon all, I paid for visa fee in November 2019. While I was still making plans to submit the application, Corona came. Will it still be valid? Or I need to make another payment. The visa fee is B1/B2. Thank you |
Happy Sunday my great people. I have been a silent reader of this thread. Many thanks for the gurus proferring solutions to people's problems. I applied for post graduate diploma in supply chain at Cape Breton university. While I await their decision, I have just just realised that that town in a dry land in terms of side hussles to support expenses. Abeg my people, can anyone help with better institution in a town where a Naija man can study and also survive. I have BA Accounting though 2.2 and ICAN which they say doesn't count in Canada. Pls help your own. I know some may advice I should go to the beginning of the thread and read to end to see previous discussions. I will appreciate any advice or suggestions from my great Naira Landers. |
Thank you, I have not filled the form yet. I just paid at the bank last week then I decided to visit this forum. I have good income from business. Have children and am not going with them. Thank you for sharing your experience. I now know is possible to get a visa without travel history. |
Many thanks for this. Yes the conference has later dates. The good thing about your reply is the information that the fee lasts for 1 year. Thanks once more. |
Happy Sunday my people, I wanted to apply for a tourist visa so I already paid my visa fee before I started following this thread. I have a strong profile BY MY STANDARD but having read through the comment so far my liver dey drop because I have ZERO travel history. I never even go Cotonou before. I have a good income, have family and children, have property and other things that can prove ties to Nigeria. Pls I need an advice, should I just forfeit the visa fee I already paid or is there a way of recovering it. Or can it be used much later? From what I have read so far the lack of travel history is automatic rejection. I wanted to book for a conference but none with good return policy. As in if am bounced, the gbese go increase. I need a professional advice pls. Many thanks |
Sorry, I meant the only problem is travel history |
@ozzz, Thank you for the response. My travel date is December and the hotel booking is still valid. Honestly, until I see the GCMS, the only problem I can sense is travel date. If I knew they have started telephone interview I would have simply ignored the call. As for reapplying, I don't know what to do. But honestly travelling to Dubai or south Africa just to build travel history seems to me awkward to me. If an oyibo girl will think I will leave my business and children just to run away then Dubai Stamp may not convince her. |
Morning Nairalanders, I have been a silent reader for a long time and this platform has been so helpful. I applied for a visiting visa and got a rejection on 30th of October after waiting for 79 days. The reason was the generic bla bla. But I have applied for my GCMS. I am married with three children and they were not supposed to go with me. Have a good business with a very active bank statement that has a closing balance of 5m. I included marriage certificate, children birth certificate, property documents and family pictures to back up my application. It was tight to the best of my knowledge. My only crime is that I don't have TRAVEL HISTORY. The reason am posting this is to bring to our notice a unique twist to my application because such was not mentioned anywhere in this forum. Few hours to BVL letter, a woman called me from London and said she was conducting a survey on biometric information. I told her I was not ready to answer any questions. She agreed to call another day but the BVL dropped all the same. The next morning, she called again and for minutes I was trying to let her know I don't do surveys.she insisted and pleaded I answer three questions about if I like business risk, how much I can readily commit to any marketing business from abroad. I told her I take calculated risk and can say what I can commit to any business I don't know nothing about. She thanked me for my response and told me to expect the mail. Then in two minutes, the rejection letter dropped. The annoying part is that someone has played fast on me. Making it look like it was the question I answered that gave me the rejection. . |
