Going by current rate on Stanbic MMF ie 11.39%
Rough estimate will be 113,900 which gives 9,491.66 monthly.

Please note this is just an estimate, going by current positive outlook in the industry, you will get more than that.

Remember to click the first link on my signature to register for Stanbic MMF
you mean i would get 9k every month

hey bro, looks like you are my twin bro ! Been into chips processing for years too I'm FCT.Had to leave over the biz to a poor braggat church member that couldn't handle the biz ,he killed it sir while I was on transfer to another state. Usually use my car to do the supplies round schools and supermkts then. I shall really look more in to this .my jobs moves me round virtually every year from one state to another that's my fear.No brother or inlaw seriously available to manage this as they are just for themselves and not for cooperate growth. I have a younger bro now in his final year uni, almost 35 but he is just carried away with his own woman matter and I see him as not serious with life yet else I could have committed some few millions into his arsenal. I want to give him 1.5 mill January and see how far he can go. Thank you bro.
i can manage it for you sir

Bro..asides your salary..do you mean you don’t get to see extra money from your boss for transportation to and fro the shops you are managing? or make money from working with the cashiers?

I have 3 Betshop’s myself. And if I decide to get a manager. I can tell you I will make calculations for going to every shop everyday once in a day. He will also have a daily stipend cos the cashiers make money everyday.

You sef..you say you don’t get a day off..how about the cashiers? When they get their days off..who works in their place? You should be the one so as to see daily stipends. Abi you dey form big man cos you be manager?

I know lots of managers that are doing pretty fine. You be manager and you dey complain. It’s either your boss is not treating you well or you no gree work Dey sit on your position.

Let’s hear you out here…waiting…
boss how do i open a bet shop?

JasOnKruegEr:
Is this job worth it ? I am the manager of a betting shop and my monthly salary is 40,000.

I have been on the job for four years now and I'm thinking I'm not getting younger anymore . I joined the work with the aim of saving and sending myself to school I've tried for years now but it was unsuccessful.

I got promoted as a manager earlier this year, I felt it was the perfect opportunity for me to send myself to school as I will have the time and opportunity. To be able to go to school while also working.

The problem here is the cost of expenses . Transportation and food I spend a minimum of 1500 everyday and as a manager I have to go everyday Sunday to Saturday without off. If you calculate it I spend a minimum of 46000 which is more than my monthly salary for just food and transport. There are small perks like in terms of winning, people can give you a share inside but that doesn't happen always, sometimes I can go a week without getting 5 naira from anyone

. I haven't added other personal expenses to this, how much will remain that I am going to even save for school? Talk more of other shortages expected in the job.

What's the gain of stressing myself working from 8am to 9pm everyday only to spend more than my monthly salary on food and transport ?

I'm thinking of finding a better job but where is the work ?
i think i have experience in this matter first what betting company are you working for

Put the remaining 5m in fixed deposit of 20% percent per annum on digital app like Opay, palm pay or traditional bank. The return per month will be more than what some civil servants or workers earn per month to take care of their family. Manage the return till you get another earning opportunity and you will also have 5m saved.

It is lavish and frivolous lifestyle that destroy a lot of people or not knowing how to manage your finances.

Many people are poor today because they don't know how to manage money, it is not because they are not making money.

If you put 25m on fixed deposit in a reputable bank for 20% per annum. You will make 5m profit a year and collect 417k per month, tell me which job can you do to earn easily like that in this Nigeria ? If that is not enough for you to sustain, that's your problem.

Some people think they will keep making big money like that and lavish it all or are just born stupid and to die miserable.
put me through bro

I like the idea that you have decided to eat the income that your capital will bring and not eating away the capital itself.

In the meantime, please find something to do with the capital itself because with the rate the value of the Naira keeps eroding, sooner or later you are going to be eating the capital without you even realizing it.
Boss am very grateful for this advice but matter goes like this. You know when we were in primary school there is a song we normally sing when it is breaktime some have food but can not eat some can eat but have no food. even thought the money is small in today world.I know the money is still enough to start from somewhere but my problem is i do not know what do with it i dont know where to start from i dont know the type of business to venture into and my greatest fear is losing the money to wrong business because of the way i get the money. I save through sweat and shame anytime i remember how my colleague that we do the same work normally buy cloth every sunday goes to club to enjoy thier life eat whatever they like why me i could not eat what i like and i could buy cloth on myself that people who be asking me no be same work you and this people dey work. I was just saving saving because of the poor background i came from i want to escape poverty from this my linage if you know any profitable business i can do boss abeg help me i know people who never leak thier business secreat make una help me befor inflation finish this money

Treasury Bill does not pay every month. I told you to buy bonds so that you can get income twice in a year, 2 tranches of bond investment will give you income 4 times in a year, 3 tranches of bond will give you income 6 times in a year

You can buy Money Market Fund and get your dividends every quarter, March, June, September and December
i hope there is no risk getting bond and would they pay me the money once

At current rate, N25,000 every month for 1 year.

But it doesn't work like that, you will get the lump sum interest (N302,100) upfront at the very beginning. While the capital will be returned to you after one calender year!
if i get you clearly you mean i would leave the money for 1 year 1 year is a long of time i though is somethig i can do every month and reinvest next month if i wish

It will pay about 150k in March, 150k in June, 150k in September and 150k in December

Or better still do business with the fund
bro this your language no understand me ooo we are in november and you are mentioning march, june, september and please i need something that is risk free i though bond is risky

500k is meagre for one to use the returns to augment monthly expenses. You can't get more than N5000 monthly return. It will be better if you compound the return and also have a regular top up

Reason why I advised you to do business with your 500k
bro please how much can my 1.9 million get me every month on tbill if it is 10k every month i do not mind as long there no hidden risk at all. I have been jobless since febuary and this money have been in the bank since last year abeg help me hungry want finis me
