For crying out loud, when are we going to be sensible in Africa?

Are we all destined to be fools?

Most of the youths(tomorrow's leaders) and the kleptocrats(leaders) handling the steering wheel will (with no doubt) reel Africans into the sea, unless we study these things below.

Remember, for the past six decades now of the mere flag-and-anthem independence, nothing has changed(except in South Africa). Ethiopia and Liberia weren't colonized.

But see how Liberia is disgustingly poor. Except for the IMF's claim in February 2020, that Liberia is becoming blooming.

Right now, it'd be a case of treating Ringworm, but Leprosy unattended to when we constantly face the colonialists for our predicaments.

Those guys are to blame. Yes. But to tell you why I said we might be destined to be fools, I'll start from here: ask many of our fathers why they fell for mere deception and enticement to willingly grant the sail of over 30 million best performing Africans, in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Fine, you may say it that part of how European countries caused Africans unchanging independence is the 1973 Debt Crisis Politics, through WTO, IMF and World Bank. That it claimed the lives of most so called independent African states economy.

But have you asked how intellectuals, the educated men, economists, pan-Africanists have been encouraged or encourage themselves to implement diverse Internally Generated Revenues.

Japan, a current leading global economy has not up to half of Nigeria's mineral resources. Look at Congo's misfortune of Cobalt.

Look at South Africa today, the only responsible society amidst us. As at October 2019, Gwede Mtashi, the current Minister of Power in South Africa announced the perfection of over 7000 megawatts to be generated across the nation from Clean Energy (Windmill and Hydroelectric generated electricity).

As at now, the South African government is passionate to meet its 2025 target. Independent power producers are meant to generate 17,800 megawatts of renewable energy under their REIPPP programme.

Are they the only one destined for success, in Africa?

Do you think we aren't fools?

As at November 2019, Nigeria, a claimed giant of Africa borrowed 500 Million Euros to finance industrialisation projects, SMEs.

Clement Agba, the current Minister of State Finance as at 2020, said that the loan is to support industrialisation and agriculture, which will create up to 1.2 million new jobs. Where is that money?

Just as 7th of April, 2020, the press bodies in Nigeria confirmed that your incumbent Nigerian has piled up debts with another $82million to fight Coronavirus pandemic. Was it Nigeria's fault?

Right now, Nigeria is accounting for over 21trillion naira debt. The debt began escalating two weeks after President Buhari mount the office.

Debt Management Office reports on Nigeria’s debt every three months. Its website shows that at the end of March 2015 – two months before Buhari took office on 29 May – the country owed a total of N12 trillion.

At the end of June 2015, this debt had risen slightly to N12.1 trillion. This was US$63.8 billion at the official exchange rate of the time, N196.95 to the dollar.

By the end of June 2018, total public debt had almost doubled to N22.4 trillion. The debt office said the latest increase comprised of a US$2.5 billion Eurobond issued by the government in February 2018.

I'm still coming back to the masses o, after finishing with our leaders. In fact, the African masses have the major blame of our disaster.

Now, this $82million is from the conventional retarded philosophy on African leaders named TINA(There Is No Alternative). As at this time, British men governored the IMF and WTO together. For you to know how them selfish Europeans enjoyed our advantage of not being smart, in the early 2000s.

But ain't there really alternatives?
Are we fools?
Look at the history of how Japan became one of the world's leading power, in all sectors in lesser than six good decades, before the WW1 in 1914.

But, who is fooling who edákun?

Should I tell you what Japan used as the ALTERNATIVES, that our leaders aren't seeing?

1. The Meiji reformed constitution of 1968 in Japan enforced the spread of able-bodied Japanese youths across the West, to learn the secrets these guys(Europeans) used in shaking the world.

The former Underdeveloped smart and not "irresponsible" Japan and Japanese decided to look at the future.

2. Despite the fact that Japan is a multiethnic society, most Japanese continue to see Japan as a mono-cultural society. Former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso mentioned that Japan as being a nation of *"one race, one civilization, one language and one culture"*, and it drew drew criticism from representatives of ethnic minorities such as the Ainu...

But come to Africa, especially in my country, Nigeria.

Ethnicity and Tribalism has shattered our brains into non-entities and useless elements. For example, just go to a typical Nigerian website I follow - Nairaland.com, where nasty tribalism comments are made. Nairaland is a wonderfully informative and educative platform though.

Fine, colonialism used this Tribalism to divide Africans. But when are we going to wise up, that we're all one.

Just mere boundaries shouldn't be dividing us. We're Africans. We're one.

Ever since I decided to be a pan-Africanist have I realized our problems. Either we like it or not, we must develop, as a continent. But we don't like to read. Africans hate reading. And that's why we may never grow. We can read. Let's read, and understand how to lay a solid foundation for our unborn children.

Hardworking youths going into Yahoo Yahoo under the excuse that African leaders are fraudsters won't lead this society to anywhere. Our unborn children will suffer for these things.

Yahoo boys may please look at this perspective. And just try, to do away with fraud.

But fortunately, I have sensed a growing awareness among African intellectuals across all tertiary institutions, in Nigeria, for instance.

These problems are our own, and must be solved by ourselves. We must put behind ourselves our constant dependency on incessant borrowing. We must halt living on corruption and short term gains. We should look at the future and not cry about the past (colonialism).

I'll end with a statement Kim Jong-Un, the Supreme leader of North Korea made in March 14, 2020, over the way America and the West are toasting Africa about,

He said:
I wonder how the whites successfully convinced Africans that polygamy is a sin but gay is a right"

Africans should learn on how to practice their religion. Until the day that Africans will start practicing their own culture they will never develop.

Globalization has never helped any country or continent, so if any Africa must succeed they should never take global standard as a way of life. Practice what you know best in accordance to your culture"

May God bless the world
May God bless Africa
May God bless you!

3. Writer

Are you passionate about creating content? Are you good at putting words together? If yes, you could work as a content writer. As a content writer, your job includes writing, fact-checking, copy-editing, and organizing content. Beyond just doing the above mentioned, you should be able to do them in a way that will offer readers a good level of satisfaction.

Getting a job as a writer is quite easy. One of the easiest waysto get started is to register on the many available freelance sites. Some of these sites include Upwork.com, Freelance.Com, etc.

Mynd44 Ishilove Lalasticlala Dominique Oam4j Seun, please for the humanity sake of those currently who can't start learning Graphics Designing and Social Media Management, kindly move this post below to the front page. https://www.nairaland.com/5759688/4-life-changing-opportunities-writers-enjoy

Yea, as you stay home, earn online!
Career / 4 Life-changing Opportunities Writers Will Enjoy From Coronavirus Season by godwinstringed1(m): 8:41pm On Mar 27, 2020
Imagine, just one virus…

locking up the entire universe!

Well, I’m bored inside, right now. Though, that shouldn’t affect my online work.

I’ll show you five success doorways this Coronavirus quarantine season opens for all writers.

Because opportunities like these four aren’t likely to show up when situations aren’t absurd like this.

Besides, when you activate these four opportunities 11 months after Covid-19’s trend, it wouldn’t be as huge as it’d expand you NOW.

And now that we only wake, clean up, eat and sleep, alone will only give the chance to earn almost nowhere, but online alone. Who knows when quarantine will be over?

Trust me, you, as a writer has more edge than any other person online. Because our line is digital, and we rule earth.

Not only that, if you’re a fiction writer too, you’re a content marketer. Because you can sell your content in digital to millions in less than 30 minutes. Content Marketing rules the world, now. Jeff Bezos will explain to you better.

1. Carry Out an Outreach
I can bet it with you, the entire world is stagnant as I speak to you.

Everyone is compelled into a holiday, panicking and frightening about health insecurity.

As I speak now, everybody expects subsequent news on Covid, essentially. And everyone, including your freelance clients are distracted by this plague. The good news? You stand a greatest chance to catch your clients attention better, NOW.

Outreach is way of reaching out to someone of value. Someone that will fast-track our writing career.

It could even be a politician you’d reach out to. Or established website CEOs, fiction authors, and several others through email.. Make them feel you’re interested in working with them. And be sincere with it.

Create mind-blowing article headlines about Coronavirus, and see how you’ll win several gigs in the coming days.

In essence, reach out to several influential men or former clients who hired you. Connect and expand your wings.

But How?

Create a softcopy spreadsheet or a hardcopy checklist of rows and columns.
Arrange in influencers/ former clients names, their emails and when you’ll reach out to them.
Create an emotional, enticing and soul-trapping template.
Tell a trusted friend what you’re about to do. This will affect your sub-consciousness to enforce on you discipline. You won’t want to eat back your words.
Launch the Outreach .

2. Start a Book
When is the better time to write a book?

Should I tell you how many chefs in the Writers’ Kitchen(Ideaflavour’s WhatsApp platform) confessed how their day-to-day activities/works affect their new year resolutions?

Don’t even wait for any inspiration. It may dissapoint you. Go meet the inspiration. Leave the congested atmosphere and be alone. Go to the beach or river. Approach what gives you the vibe to write.

Think on a new arrangement of a plot. Start. I started a prose-fiction on the 1st day of lock-down in Osun State, Nigeria, titled “How Do We Stop Him From Raping his Daddy“. I do hope to finish it before 30 days time.

Here is the time you may not have. Use it.

3. Start a Book Featuring a Disastrous Plague

You’ll drive massive sales. Over the years, the controller of what trends online drives in millions of dollars. Make it on Coronavirus.

Quarantine will last for three four months or thereafter, from now. Write a fiction on this trend. Open an Amazon Kindle Publishing account for it or upload it on your website.

Amazon Kindle will publish your digital content, such as pdf. In case you don’t have a website yet, create one (this link though shows you how to create a music blog, but still the same way to create any website).

Your potential buyers won’t buy from you when they don’t know you. That website will be a landing page for tracking who you are, for legal issues.

Just write about an ugly virus prevalent.

You can start this, you are best in doing, NOW!

4. Run a Facebook Advertisement
We make enough money when we sell books. I’m not a fan of Facebook Ads. But how people will check Facebook in the United States, Germany England and several other countries places where Covid penetrated will be high.

Amaze them to look at a devastating story of how the earth collapsed. But rebirths through one woman survivor.

For instance, your sales copy(ads caption) for such could be:

"Imagine, a lone female survivor restored the human race.

Just in two centuries, as she fought and survived a deadly virus that almost flung the human race into extinction”.

As the above idea may seem not logical enough, pardon me. But you can craft something similar… You’ll not regret it.

They’ll rush and buy. You may not go on Kindle Publishing this time around. You’re publishing a book. But you can sell the digital version from your newly created website if you don’t have one.

Finally, as you make good use of this season, kindly click the buttons floating, to share this post with your family and friends on Facebook or Twitter; WhatsApp Chat/Status or LinkedIn. Whichever media platform. Because everyone is indoors and hoping to earn a living. We might also (through sharing) lift a hand that’ll lift us both, the more.
