Politics / Re: Henry Okah's Al-jazeera Interview Is Fake-------presidency by gogo123: 8:49am On Oct 08, 2010
chosen04:

The Presidency has cast doubts on the authenticity of Tuesday’s interview granted an international satellite network, Al Jazeera, by a former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, Mr. Henry Okah.

The interview, in which Okah claimed that a close aide of President Goodluck Jonathan called him to get MEND to retract an email statement claiming responsibility for the October 1 bomb blasts in Abuja, had been a subject of controversy, particularly relating to the 2011 presidential election.

Okah, who is currently standing trial on terrorism charges in South Africa, claimed in the interview that Jonathan intended to put the blame for the attacks on Northern politicians contending for the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential ticket with him.

But the Presidency on Thursday added another twist to the development, which had since become a political issue.

A highly placed presidential source in the presidency, who did not wish to be named because of the sensitivity of the matter, told journalists on Thursday that there were considerable doubts about the authenticity of the interview.

The source explained that the doubts stemmed from latest findings by intelligence operatives. The source claimed that the voice in the report might not have been Okah’s own, but was faked and sold to the network.

Let see how deep you guys are going to keep boxing yourself into a corner as the days go by.

Am amused everyday to see young Igbo chaps still chorusing what some of their old and discredited politicians are saying, when others are trying to break away from their old generations of politicians.

It becoming apparent that your present support for IBB and the other candidates is borne out the promise of come 2015, an Igbo man will climb the seat; hummmm!, what sort of political calculation is this!!!.

I think it time, young Igbo chaps get more education in political strategy and move away from political operation and planning.

Get a plan B and stop this childish and 100% dump support for the ambition of IBB.
you are not smart enough to advise your 10year old nephew talk less of your betters the great IGBO people, who said we are 100%ibb, ibo haters are out again, if it is the ibos that are fielding this large number of presidential aspirants like the north, the ngbanti press will be every where with their divisive and sinister agenda, if it is IBB that will end ibo marginalization we will vote for him, if it is another so shall it be, the southwest is interested only in preserving the privileges the civil war has given them, they dont like GEJ or the south south

The poster may not really be as silly as you guys think, in fact i have thought of what might be going on in the minds of these northerners, my own take is that they should enshrine the zoning thing in the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria and give it a time line of say 50yrs and we can then do away with it. Jonathan might not stop igbo marginalization,he has being to all other parts of the country but i don't think i have heard of his visit to the south east

bk/babe90:

As smart as these Ibo men portray themselves to be, could it be that their wives are cheating on them with white men and sticking them with white babies? Is the glee being shown by the Ibo men just another sign of their insecure nature and their determination to align themselves with anything white? Are the Ibo men really the fathers of these white children (that are clearly not albino)? Is the Ibo man really as foolish as some say that he cant see that his wife has been shacking with the mail man? Responses will be appreciated! No hate mail, please!

Black and white twins celebrate 4th birthday * Their mom is of English-Nigerian heritage

Monday, July 26, 2010

THEY look like friends who met at nursery school but Kaydon and Layton Richardson are in fact twin brothers with different-coloured skin.

The twins' mother, 32-year-old Kerry, is of English-Nigerian heritage.

The boys celebrated their fourth birthday in the same week Nigerian couple, Ben and Angela Ihegboro, revealed their white daughter Nmachi to the world.

The genetic quirks make the children "two-in-a-million" rarities that have fascinated doctors.

After hearing of the Ihegboro family's incredible baby news, Kaydon and Layton's mother, Kerry, said skin colour had been on her mind when giving birth to daughter Tiyannah recently.

"I thought it was crazy. As much as it happened to me, the twins' dad is white, so for it to happen to a black couple seems even stranger," she said.

"When I was carrying Tiyannah I was wondering what colour she was going to be.

"Before the twins I would have expected that any child of mine would have my colour in them.

"But after Layton I wasn't sure what she was going to look like.

"When she was born she looked as though she was going to go dark but at about two weeks old it was clear she was white.

"I was a little surprised as I thought Layton was a one-off.

"Doctors can tell you what sex your baby is going to be but they can't tell you what colour!'

Kerry also fears the twins will stand out when they start primary school in September.

She said: "It's never been an issue up to now but I know that Layton notices the difference in their colour.

"I've tried to explain it to them in the past but last year we were in an airport in America when Layton shouted, "Mum, am I white like my dad and Kaydon's black like you?".

'That was the first time he had said that but everyone thought it was very funny.

"I hope it's not going to be a problem when they start school but kids can be cruel."
