u don't park a blog but only a domain name.. The parking company pay u based on the CPC of your domain and the numbers of clicks ur parked domains get. What I mean by monetization in this context is him creating a blog maybe with articles about postgraduate loans, put some affiliate links relating to that domain, Google AdSense, paid advert etc.

did you handreg that name? Big G says it has BTW 10k - 100k av. Monthly searches, medium competition and CPC is $4.85. Only downside is most other extension are available... I think it is because that name is very specific I.e it is under 'students loans ". You contact those website offering student loans but your best bet is to build a blog about post graduate loans and monitize it. Plus your blog can get to Google 1st page easily. That traffic is something.

I always appreciate your effort and opinions from the first thread. You have really helped a lot of people. I noticed people don't like the hard truth. Brandable do sell but takes time, just wondering how many of us can afford to hold a name for 10 years like the veterans. That's around $1000 on one name. It is about renewals. I believe a name without obvious end users and not keyword targeted are harder to sell.

3 letters .com are hotcakes... Even .net/.org. U will never find those waiting for you at expired list. But if I saw 3 letter .mobi, I will let you know. U may even find it yourself if you set your filter right.

Sorry for the late response.
In situations like this I would check current status of the . com version. If it is already in use by an end user with massive traffic and the keyword is popular then maybe I could be interested but if it is advertised for sale I would be wondering how long before the .com is bought and put to use before consideration of sales of its other extensions. Obviously a No No for me.
Like the bosses on this thread have earlier stated try to stay glued to .com extension only.

it is hard to convince a .com website owner to put money on .mobi. Why should he?

.mobi extension is not adviceable...you can speculate on it but I would not unless the 3 letters make sense and matcch with Mobile
