Politics / Re: ISIS Beheads And Shoots More Ethiopian Christians (photos) by Goldmind1(m): 9:54am On Apr 20, 2015
Folks, it is very possible that ISIS could find their way to Nigeria during this coming region since there is a plan to islamize the world through terror. Christians buckle up, the time of our departure is @ hand even closer than when we first believed.
Run away from sugar coated and miracle preachers and go for the preachers of the sincere Word of God, so that @least U can make the rapture.
Be warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Around early 2016?
But we are talking about 2015.
Will we remain like this till 2016?
Justcash:
It will go up again. This will happen somewhere between early to mid 2016. Demand just needs to rise, and this will start soon. Atleast, for OPEC NATIONS.

People should be thinking more towards agribusinesses. That's where I think there's future and security.
Politics / Light Sweet Crude Oil Drops To $49.31, Does That Spell Doom For Nigeria? by Goldmind1(m): 10:37am On Jan 06, 2015
Light sweet crude fell this morning to $49. Just wondering what that mean to Nigeria. Tough 2015. We should go for personal austerity measures. Avoid wasteful spending and plan your spending.
I also foresee FG downsizing their staff strength or cutting salaries of workers in 2015.
May God help us to pass through this.

Oga, which kind of christian are u? I'm not saying that I support Isreal but do you know the cause of the crises from the onset? Always ask questions.
phayvoursky: Obama will play deaf. if its Syria or Iraq he'll invade them with drones, warships and military commandos but here is Israel attacking a country yet its not a full scale war.

Must Israel use force in everything? This is outrageous and totally uncalled for. Killing innocent children won't solve anything.

No people or Nation has a supreme monopoly of violence.

I hope the United Nations and other International agencies are seeing this....

I'M A CHRISTIAN BUT I'M NOT IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL'S ACTIONS.

Politics / Re: Attack On Fashola: Akabueze Replies Obanikoro by Goldmind1(m): 3:55pm On Jan 07, 2014
Ben Akabueze, a prodigal Igbo son.
Collins Colz: Lagos State Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Ben Akabueze has replied Senator Musiliu Obanikoro’s recent attacks on Governor Bababtunde Fashola on the state’s 2014 budget, describing it as a feigned attack.
According to Akabueze, the former Nigerian ambassador to Ghana is not an economist or financial expert and so he is dabbling into a subject he does not fully understand.
Akabueze said Obanikoro’s recent article on the Lagos State 2014 budget is just as sloppy as the earlier article he wrote on the Lekki Concession Company, LCC, transaction that was full of inaccuracies and shallow theoretical analysis.
He said: “My attention has been drawn to an article purportedly written by Senator Musiliu Obanikoro. I know Sen. Obanikoro is not an economist or financial expert and so I suspect someone wrote this piece for him. If my suspicion is right then the author did him great dissservice.
“If, however, Obanikoro wrote this himself, then he will need a lot of education on the subject of public sector budgeting if, as I suspect, he still aspires to govern today’s Lagos State.”
Akabueze said further that Obanikoro’s ‘critical review’ of the State’s budget is replete with phantom figures so much so that it would amount to a waste of time to try to address the inaccuracies individually.
He, therefore, challenged Obanikoro to a public forum to debate the LCC buy-out transaction, the 2014 budget and any other matter relating to management of Lagos State’s economy.
“Obanikoro’s speculative comments about the amounts and timing of Bonds issued, as well as increase in the 2014 recurrent expenditure are very pedestrian. His criticism of the residents registration exercise is dumbfounding as anyone with elementary understanding of economics will appreciate the need for accurate demographic data for planning.
“And by the way, Obanikoro and his shadowy writers would be welcome to a public forum to debate the LCC buy-out transaction, the 2014 budget and any other matter relating to the management of Lagos State’s economy after they have hopefully done their homework.
“The fact is that Lagos State Government operates at a level of financial management that the likes of Obanikoro and his phantom writers must work very hard to fly to,” Akabueze said.
