PoliticsRe: Mark Refuses To Accept Executive Bills From Jonathan by Goldmind1(m): 10:14pm On Feb 01, 2010
Rev. Dr. O. Ezekiel of the Christian Pentecostal Mission, Lagos said in his Church on December 6th 2009 that 2010 will be a very difficult year for Nigeria. He said that many politicains will be frustrated in 2010 and that they will turn the frustration to the Nigerian people.

He said this shorthly before AbdulMutallab tempted blowing up US Airline and the Yaradua saga.

Could it be what is happening to Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: Fallout Of Israeli Atrocities In Gaza by Goldmind1(m): 10:04pm On Feb 01, 2010
Is that why Nigerian Muslims are thinking they can islamize Nigeria by killing non-muslims? Foolish people.

Let Isreal level up Palestanians, who cares?

PoliticsRe: London Court Freezes Akingbola‘s £83m Properties by Goldmind1(m): 10:51am On Jan 28, 2010
I feel for Akingbola. But on the other hand, that is one Nigeria for the Yoruba nation. What could have ended in 1967, you people rejected. MKO is gone Bode George in Jail, Akingbola now at large. Hope you are coming to understand this Hausa-fulanis better.
Prof. Jubril Aminu was mentioned in the 10 miliion Euro Siemens bribery scandal, but today nobody talks about it agin.

I think it's good we remain like this, ONE NIGERIA FOR LIVE!!!!!!!!!
PoliticsRe: What A Grand Plan, It Worked Out Fine by Goldmind1(m): 1:02pm On Jan 27, 2010
Is that how you rate wisdom? A man who wants to hold onto power till he dies. To me that is covetousness and greed.

Lol, if Oduduwa fails 10X, you and I know the Biafran will fail 10,000X because more than half of you depend on Oduduwa land for your survival. It's like your are even putting curses on your people in our land. You know that these people won the future and prosperity of Biafran land.

Onlytraiter,
If you actions do not speak louder than your voice and you belive in one Nigeria for real for real? Don't you ever come on Nairaland to rant again. That's if you believe in One Nigeria, you might as well burn the Biafailed flag and currency in your pocket. So that we believe that your words do not belie your actions. Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!

You don't have to believe my words. They are irrelevant to you. I speak to my people who don't understand the dynamics of the Nigeria "politico-ethnic" sphere. The advantage I have is that I can advocate my separate country yesterday because I know I could thrive in it, or advocate a united Nigeria today for the very same reasons. Isn't it marvelous being an Igboman?! Chei jealousy go kill people.

Let me tell you plainly, if I will gain $100 for staying in Nigeria, and gain $1 million for having Biafra, based on what I know now about the Yoruba, I will opt for Nigeria. You know why? Because in Nigeria, I have a real chance to avenge well well on the Yoruba. That vengeance is priceless.

@bashdecash

Who are these Northerners that you fear like this. Is it IBB, Abacha, Buhari and Abulsalem that held onto power via military coup? You can see that their time in Nigeria is fast coming to an end. Watch and see how the North will lose out of Nigeria in the next 10 to 15 years.
PoliticsRe: This Is World War 3 At Its Early Stage by Goldmind1(m): 11:31pm On Jan 25, 2010
we should not forget that christians have carried out attrocities against muslims in the past, christianity didnt spread globally solemly through the "gospel". History tells us that christianity was forced on people who rejected it, and some where even killed just because they refused christianity. But in today's world christians are always quick to blame the muslims for their problems. Its really sad
PoliticsRe: Jos Crisis: Why Nigeria Should Take Referendum by Goldmind1(m): 11:46am On Jan 23, 2010
With all these thigns happening, am now beginning to reget not taking the advice my friend gave me when we left university. He asked me what I would like to do, I told him I'ld work a little, then enter business and politics to help save the Nigeria. He laughed mercilessly at me and said he was looking for a student visa to move into Cananda and naturalize there, that Nigeria has no remedy at all.

After the discussion, I was pitying him and he was as well pitying me. But today, I am beginning to prove him right and I believe he made it to Cananda because he was comitted to the vission.

PoliticsRe: Christian Leaders Accuse Nigerian Army Of Genocide In Jos! by Goldmind1(m): 7:47pm On Jan 22, 2010
It' a pity what is happening in Jos. Nigeria is never one country, whether we like it or not. I used to say that, if we spend next 50 years as a nation, we would have spent 50 wasted years.

They are now gradually islamizing the country by force. It's pity that Britain sold us into the hands of these Hausa Fulanis becos of Oil, and handed over govt (the army) to the Northerners. It's only God that can quecnch this problem.

This is exactly how the civil war started. I believe Gowon would be regretting the Nigeria he fought for. Well, they may do that in North central, they may also try that in South west and South South, but that can not happen in South east. Am saying it and repaeting it again that we will defend our land (south east) with our last blood, and even shift them up to Niger republic.

Now let me talk to my fellow Christians in Nairaland. I think this is not time we should only be asking for God's blessing and heaping up false Pastors, who would be saying what we like. Behold persecution and tribulation is closing in on us. This is the time we would know who the real Christian believers are. Pray, if you know how to pray that this plan to islamize the nation would fail woefully. And also pray that the price of crude oil in the international market would crash in no distant time, so that the Arab nations would go broke and not see the money to sponsor terrorism.
PoliticsRe: Islamisation Of Nigeria:Why's Mr President Still In The "holy Land"? (OIC) by Goldmind1(m): 5:38pm On Jan 22, 2010
So my country is truly among OIC nations. ALU! ABOMINATION! The whole nation would have been islamized if not for the South east and South west.
here we go again with the islamic banking , northernisation bull. if soludo had been fulani , people like you would have been shouting the same thing. i almost wish he had folded his arms and let the banks collapse. of course if he had done that you lot would be here shouting what do you expect from a woro chewin aboki

do you read the papers at all? are you so blinded by tribalism that you cannot see the the bank chiefs were living it up on depositors funds and cooking the books?

if you want to bring religion into it, better read up on brother erastus. theres a thread on him in the religion section.

@Oyb

Are u sure u are not the one who's being fooled. You people keep shoutin at Akingbola and Ibru. Prof. Soludo did a good job in recepitalizing those banks, but after that, they went on to disburse loans anyhow becos they have so much money in their vault owing to the recapitalization. Also remember if not for the recapitalization, Nigerian banks couldn't have survived the global financial meltdown that came last year,
Oyb, watch if you are not fooled by their deceptive method. We all heard when Prof. Jubril Aminu was indicted in a 10 million Euro fraud/bribery involving Siemens, but the whole story went down the drain becos he's among the cabal.
Well I hope that Akingbola and Ibru be brought to book, but let's watch how Sanusi would fail with his northern agenda.
PoliticsRe: Cbn Asks Ovia, Elumelu To Quit by Goldmind1(m): 10:55pm On Jan 19, 2010
probably because of what he witnessed in the banking sector

if properly executed, a system of term limits can curtial the conversion of banks and depositor funds to 'family affair'

most of these bank chiefs are enriching themselves in frightening ways. term limits, and the possibility of investigations by future ceos may temper their greed.

an example - a story making the rounds is that most of the buildings used by zenith bank on ajose adeogun are owned by ovia through a proxy real estate company or some such. is this ethical? can one be sure that the bank is not paying way above what the properties are worth?

of course, a sharp ceo can simply anoint a successor and commence remote controlling from the background.

@OYB

I support the Capitalist system. All this noise is just to pave way for Islamic banking. Who stops you from setting up your own bank. Or atleast a microfinance bank now the minimum capital base is still N25m. Many guys are growing their micro banks and hoping to make it a commercial bank like Mr. Uche Oga of Olive Micro bank.

Don't support people that don't work, but would like to embezzle Government money. They believe the Nigerian crude oile belongs to their allah and they need to suck it dry, if not through CBN it would be through NNPC.

Well, the south southerners have made the mistake of turning away from the agitation that led to the war in 1967 and I know they are regretting it now. 40 years after the civil war, Nigeria is yet to be fixed.
PoliticsRe: More Crisis In Jos Today by Goldmind1(m): 10:39pm On Jan 19, 2010
I think at this point the good people of Jos would start sending the Hausa fulani settlers in their midst packing. How can a visitor start claiming another man's land?

And I advise all other geo-political zones not to accept the Hausa fulanis in their midst again. This people always have along time plan, say 20 to 30 years of chasing away the rightful owner and claiming the land. This is exactly what happend and is still happening in Sudan.

It is so sad that they are the most backward in Nigeria. Their leadership style has relegated this country to the likes of Yemen and Pakistan. Well, I still pray for Nigeria whenever anyone raises a prayer point, but I think this country cannot work except if there is a revolution, which will be bloody and will last long. The US, UK and the UN know that this is true. They have tried the peaceful method by removing Abacha and MKO, yet peace has not yet arrived. They may allow it to happen the rough way if things continue this way. We really need to pray that God'll do it in a way peaceful way, like the case of USSR.

PoliticsRe: Cbn Asks Ovia, Elumelu To Quit by Goldmind1(m): 8:26pm On Jan 19, 2010
Boy! This is really working for them to islamize Nigeria. These were the things Ojukwu saw in 1967 and resisted. The Muslims have the army, the Oil and the treasury (CBN), now they have gone further to take over private banks. Christians may not believe me but we will all see it happen if God doesn't intercept them.

I think it's time Christians should not go to church only to seek for prsperity. We need to also pray for our nation. Your faith is being contended. Like Jude advised us in Jude verse 3, to earnestly contended for the faith which was once delivered to us.

They may try that in the North central (Jos), they may also try that in the south west and south south but that can never ever happen in the whole of south east. We will pray against it and also resist them even if it leads into another civil war, we don't care.
