op. I only have one advice for you. What you're doing is called slavery. During my nysc, my pay was 22700. Half of that, 11k (your current pay) was spent on transport to go to work alone. not transport everywhere else o, just to go to the workplace and back, based on the city I was in. Only one life bro. live it to the best. Find something better then leave.

Everyone who has contributed really tried, I will like to say this there is know single rule to living a fulfilled life, what works for Mr. A might not work for Mr. B under the same environment and under the same condition. @ OP you should know what will work for you,.some people are saying one can stay back and build one's house well it's good but is it the 120k per year rent is going to build with within a year?? Even if you pay 150k per year for rent it would take 10 years to save 1.5million and is it 1.5million one will build with? Or will someone who is 28 years old wait for longer years just to build his own house before moving out? Am saying this because whether you stay on your own or with your parent, your earning or side huzzle will go along way to help build your own apartment and both ways you will still spend each month. And again building one own personal house is good but personally to me building is majorly for retirement, I saw the stress people go through to build there own apartment all in the name of not wanting to pay yearly rent only to subject themselves to more stress, imagine someone working in Lagos and building in Mowe, such person will have to go through traffic stress almost everyday, why not rent the Mowe house out and use the money to rent a house close to your place of work. I know people will call for my head on this but I want us to know that building ones personal house doesn't stop one from been a tenant elsewhere. Like I said earlier what works for Mr. A might not work for Mr. B, just live your life and make sure you plan ahead, work and pray towards it, don't use someone's else life to judge your own. If your peers become successful at 25 years rejoice with them and wait for your own time. Don't rush and don't see yourself as a failure. Before you go into any business please take out your time to learn about it very well and do a business that taking stock will be very easy. I wish you all the best OP.
Well said. I want to point out one thing though. he is not staying back to build house with 150k or 1.5m total though. He is staying back to build the thing he will need to get income to build house comfortably, which is multiple streams of income/ side businesses. You dont get rich by saving, you do so by investing wisely, which is a catch-22 because you need to save to have money to invest but moving on.... What is one of the reasons ppl cry about starting biz? there is no capital. they say bank wont give them, church wont give them, parents barely have enough and ur savings cant even fund advertising. Then you now add the burden of rent again... you will find it difficult to start what will give you the real freedom, financial freedom. On a personal note i always had it in mind that what will happen if my ppl drop dead today? and you have vulture family members coming to fight for wetin no be their own. That mindset spurred me to live as if I have moved out already and hustle even while at home, and it paid off. So for me it's all abt mindset. Anyways, to parrot what you've said, op with all this wealth of perspectives should now be able to know what will work best for him.

is rent everyday?,some one save 400k within months and u are talking of next years rent of 80k,u save more when u are on ur own cuz u will have time to focus,so people leaving in rented apartment dont have savings, how many mouth is he feeding,,,,instead of u to advice him to leave and b buying properties in his apt little by little before marriage, after marriage expenses, I go see were he go for see 800k take furnish house once,I go see the girl way go follow am stay empty house,I know after marriage u will still advice him to remain in his father house and b building his personal house,Nigerians are funny, he is 28 and old enough to take care of himself
well no need to argue. you ask am whether na 80k house e wan move out to? I wonder the kind house e be. To be a man is to suffer but suffer dey of different levels. goodluck with that.

they have savings. how much tho? one should have a view to living this one life well. not living sadly. poverty mindset is unhealthy. even if you dont have, you strive for the best. shoot for the moon so you land on stars if you fail.

My guy, nobody said he shouldnt leave. what's being said is that money is too small to leave. the smart thing is to develop side income while at home to the point that it's big enough to leave comfortably. Freelancers are chopping money online and keeping some to get land and build. in the meantime mama thank you is helping. the only foolish person is he or she that is not making use of the no rent life. unless u want to continue the rat race, u will need to help yourself by avoiding as many unnecessary costs as possible in the beginning. Let's stop glorifying unnecessary sufferhead in the name of manhood.

them dey say move out to see life/ think well/ understand things. this just tells me that as u dey so in the house already, u no get freedom. these think well whatever and living at home are not mutually exclusive. it's like saying you have to travel to another state to drink water. people are looking for the advantage of having who will cover rent for them so they can buy btc and sell for bastard profit 1 or 2 yrs down the line. but like I said. all your choice bruh. My answer for you is find the balance between the two, because both sides have valid arguments.
FamilyRe: Should I Stay With My Parents And Invest Or Should I Leave? Advice Needed by GoldPencil: 9:07pm On Jul 12, 2019
in all this thing, nobody has asked op where he will get 2nd years rent from. yes you move out now and furnish lol with 400k (God knows how long it took you to save that on a 60k salary.) Where's next years rent going to come from? assuming you find a squirrel hole for 150k. Bear in mind that in the month, u need to pay bills and transport and food and data, minimum. If it's about babes, if you cant get babe to lash anywhere you wish now, things aren't necessarily going to change when you're alone except na inmessage things. Friends will laugh even more when u r broke and meet them. Your choice tho. Be smart.

It was this thread that almost destroyed my life.
This useless thread that is full of proud and terrible scammers.

It was this same thread I met that useless Funnynation who told me how he started making millions in importation.

We joined him on whatsapp last year he now scammed us around 3+ millions.

God will punish those who come here to lie in the name of scamming people.

May their souls never rest in peace.

I also met those useless thieves called Hugo Diamonds who scammed me after I paid them money for shipping my goods from China to Nigeria.

I have almost thought of suicide because of this two godforsaken pieces of annoying hell of human beings.

I want to plead with the moderators to close down this thread.

It has caused more harm than good. Please close this useless thread.

And if you see this two thieves. Tell them many people wish them dead when caught.

Again. I responded to Elamins request. didnt call u. dont know u. dont care to. you are the one that went to do research on my work and know that it is plagiarised without having access to it. then started making noise here. kudos.
ePrive:
grin grin grin
Whose teeth did you knock out? Yours probably. grin

This thread has one purpose : To narrate how you made your first million, probably so that others that are trying to come up would learn from your story and experience. Not to litter the thread by attempting to sell a plagiarised eBook that obviously didn't help you, at an exorbitant price.
I was enjoying the thread till I saw the likes of you. I'm not against you or whatever you do, as I don't know you, I'm against your act(s) on this thread.
So pack your load and go. grin

"defending my work" grin grin grin

Don't bother replying, I won't reciprocate.

The morale of the story remains the same. Dont slap me and then cry when I knock your teeth out. I'm on my own always. anyone comes for me I will always do double. this ends here. If Dominique can scrub everything off including that of eprive. I'll be happy for that.
futurism:
Is that why you had to spoil the thread? you could have just ignore him after one or two replies... now the thread looks ugly.

my friend. I was on my own when eprive came for me, bashing my stuff and branding it as plagiarised scam. I didn't call him. someone asked for help and I offered a guide. didn't call eprive or anyone. I am still on my own, defending my work, I didn't mention you. BusinessRe: How Old Were You When You Made Your First Million?, And How? by GoldPencil: 8:18am On Jun 15, 2019
the guide is available for whoever wants. nobody is being forced to buy. if you dont need it you ignore. what is sure is that in one month you will either go to church 4 times and if you give offering of 1000 x 4 that's 4000 and your life remains the same. 5 thousand if you add tithes or you de do first fruits). Every Friday you will go and drink 2 bottles of star each with your friend at 250. that's 1000 in one sitting and 4k for the month. Also because u want to knack that babe you will "just find her" 5k which she wont appreciate, but the guy wrecking her guts daily pays nothing. Your life wont change. so no be by force to buy.
BusinessRe: How Old Were You When You Made Your First Million?, And How? by GoldPencil: 4:21am On Jun 15, 2019
you pay between 36000 to 700000 or 1m per year depending on the type of uni you are attending in Nigeria. as you read this, none of those fee have generated you 1 naira. but someone shows you something that can give you 2 dollars or more monthly in exchange for 20k then that one is now the plagiarised scam. no further comment. remain where una dey.

yet here we are. someone repeating the age old story of "if you have so much why not give it free" go and ask Jeff Bezos to dash you a kindle tablet or Alexa because he is the world's richest. or dangote to dash you bags of cement for your house because he can afford it. the info is out there like you said. goodluck scrolling through forum comments for 2 - 3 years looking for gold when the real gold is in the advice of those who are battle tested. those who spend up to $300 testing out ads and strategies and gaining real time insights on what works and doesn't. then you want the knowledge given to you for free.
BusinessRe: How Old Were You When You Made Your First Million?, And How? by GoldPencil: 4:16am On Jun 15, 2019
you want the information and help that will change your life but you want it free. in the event your are given free, you dont take it as seriously as you should because you did nothing to earn it. Same with people crying they want to lose weight. you say come out and meet me by 6 am I'll train you for free. no show. however if I charge you 30k non refundable you will force yourself out of bed so money no go lost. I've made it as accessible as possible at 5k on okada without the hassle of someone bugging my phone to hold their hand through the process.
BusinessRe: How Old Were You When You Made Your First Million?, And How? by GoldPencil: 3:57am On Jun 15, 2019
So have you asked yourself whether or not I'm Tshirtlifestyle Sirra. And have you bought them at their varying prices/platforms? at 20k you are buying access to me as well. you buy straight from me and my email address. you read it and any questions you have you have who to mail. you buy on okada or Amazon and you get stuck somewhere and that's it. first lesson this teaches you is about removing limiters. dont be scared to spend money to get money. but no o, keep thinking you've done some superb detective work here. your problem. not mine. [1quote author=ePrive post=79338072]

Man, if the "guide" is truly helping you make millions, then I don't see why you're asking this dude for #20,000. If you ain't using it to rake in millions, then do so, help yourself first.
You guys should stop ripping kids off the little they have.

Back to the plagiarised book you're trying to sell.
This is the same book on Okadabooks selling for #5,000 by one TShirtLifeStyle Sirra : https://okadabooks.com/book/about/kindle_blazin_how_to_go_from_0_income_to_earning_passively_with/27598

This is another spin off by the same "author" on Amazon Australia, selling for about #2,500 : https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07RQNJZHQ

Another spin off by the same "author" on Amazon UK, selling for £3.94 (about #1,800) : https://www.amazon.co.uk/T-BLAZIN-How-Tier-Merch-Amazon-ebook/dp/B07L5FT8GK

Also, I'm sure this ain't an original work by the so called "TShirtLifeStyle Sirra", it's probably a compilation of different articles online. This is the same dung you're trying to sell to a youngin who's tryning to come up for #20,000? angry

You don't need any guide for most online "activities", the info is out there, go do you search, you're get first hand info and solutions from persons going through such currently. Dig in articles, forums, and communities of whatever platform you want to get inducted into.

NB: Most persons are the architects of their tribulations in life. angry[/quote]

CAVEAT

Most forget the amount of time it takes to be successful.

If you're just starting, you're probably not going to make 6 figures any time soon.

Takes time, dedication, skill, and patience.

Most don't have those.

That's why most fail.

Have patience and push on.

One reason why there are charges to share tips and secrets is because it's A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER.

By the time you're spending upwards of $300 (100k) just to do trial and error to learn how ads work, or test out a new strategy, I think you will agree with me that 30k is a huge savings discount for expedited learning.

- He knows his stuff. A bit expensive but genuine.
- 50%. You'll only get a 10k word manuscript with that amount, which is ok for certain genres. Theres still other stuff needed to blow well like a great cover etc. Some of them you can do by yourself but you need time and expertise. The manuscript is the skeleton of the whole process tho. So either save more or earn more, but definitely learn more.

What is the possibility of success with such an amount.

Bassey looked down at the spreadsheet and mused over the figures for a moment, as if he understood what he was looking at. He wasn’t quite sure what exactly what he was looking at, but from what he could gather from her words he knew that the outcome of the situation was not a good one. He choked a moment on his reply as he felt the grip of anxiety and fear parch his throat. A sudden attack of itchiness also crawled over his skin like a million tiny spiders, causing him to nearly jump out of his skin, as he almost bounded from his chair. Only to quickly sit down again, unsure of how to react to something like this. Why did he want this job again? He asked himself silently.
“So what do you think, sir? Do you think you can do something about this? What would be our best course of action?” Temi pelted him with her questions in an almost rapid-fire method that seemed to overwhelm him. He nervously rubbed his forehead and the stubble that he could feel peeking through the pores of his chin and jawline. Bassey tried to calm himself with the delightful smell of lavender that had begun to waft into his nostrils. He looked around for a second to see where it was coming from, then realized to his surprise that Miss Chikwelu’s hair must have been the source. This also surprisingly made him happy in this tense moment. With his renewed calm, at the expense of her great shampoo, he felt he could collect his faculties and solve the problem.
“You said you were from first floor, right?” Bassey began by asking. He felt like a man cautiously walking through a field of live land mines praying not to set one off.
“Yes, sir. I am a first-floor accounting analyst.” Temi confirmed, standing upright from her leaning position over him. Her face read that she felt she had been standing perhaps too close to him. But he didn’t mind at all. She was relatively attractive and he would have preferred a woman to be leaning over him, than one of those smelly overbearing oafs that he usually found presenting these sort of things to him.
