123abcclown: My moniker reads 123 abc clown but I am not, at least not entirely.
I am here honestly wondering why you will want to go and study in a University that was founded less then 10 years ago, un-ranked, no reputation and stuff? Please educate me. All based on what you saw online.but you decided to focus more on the negative reviews. |

johndoefoo: From that post it doesn't make it bad, lots of People tagged it good. I think it's a specialized university in a subject area. Just like University of Technology in Nigeria or University of Agriculture.
From the Quora post, it is more practical oriented.
Applied means it is more of practical, workforce ready than the normal university that's full of theory.
If you're studying Engineering in Nigeria I would recommend FUTA, but maybe Business Administration, I might recommend UNILAG. So which implies, if you're studying anything related to Engineering, Applied Science is a right choice, but if you intend to end in up in academia, maybe you should look elsewhere. Thank you very much. Its just sad that all this guys arguments are based on what he read online, if he could at least tells a few cases of students who currently are facing problems because they got a degree from this university, or maybe he himself has experienced it(am not even sure if he's in Germany sef) Be more straight forward with your argument. We should not go to Rhine waal. Why? -Its a fake university? -They lack accreditation? -they don't have enough utilities? Or they are not as advanced as they claim to be? -A degree from the university is not recognized in Germany or even across the world? It may be in your good intentions u trying to warn us about falling in a wrong university but please at least try to back your claims with valid proofs. |

Williamso: There will be economic (job-related) and social (integration) problems if you have no knowledge of German on arrival. Speaking from experience as I had none when I got here... And it's even more expensive (time/money) to learn it here (I paid approximately 200€ per level/month for an intensive program and that was the cheapest I could find even with 40% discount)
However, if your study program is in English, you should have no (or maybe very little) academic issues... Happy birthday @williamso. I sent u a pm.please respond |
