This is how I have been coping.

I'm a student of a government owned school in Kogi state while I reside in Benin. When going to school, I pack as many food stuffs as possible, as in, I carry anything carry-able; rice, beans, eggs, indomine, cream, gum, toothpick, super glue, pen, writing books, e.tc.

Normally, I break my trip; Benin - Auchi - Okene before the last bus to my school to save some change on transportation, but with the many foodstuff I use a direct bus and pay some change for the loads.

When I get to school, I don't buy anything I don't need, apart from fresh tomatoes, fresh fish, and red paper I have all the required items to make soap and stew. I eat twice a day, at times, just once before I go to sleep. Not like I don't wanna cook, but some times, I have GSTs courses in the morning (I leave my lodge very early to secure front seat) and core course ends by 6PM or 7PM. I spent money mostly on water as they lack water here, a keg goes for 20Naira to 30Naira. Also, my house is VERY from school and my friends who should normally come to eat at my place at times gets discourage by the long distance. Most importantly, I'm single and not searching. Ladies could be crazy, they beg for anything like paying their photocopy fee and many more, for me, I don't give money out unless when the person in question deserves it.

Pls nairalander's help me with a good suggestion on how to manage 10k a month.im a student of uniuyo,even with my provision,i still find it difficult to manage 10k allowance monthly.lyk dis semester i came wit an ideal of not cooking soup cause i think soup consume a lot of cash. i do eat soup outside why i cook rice,indomie and beans in my house.i stop cooking soup cos 1. I don't know how to cook. 2.i don't eat a soup dat has sleep more than two days and 3.it consume a lot of cash.pls i need ur sincere advice and idea.

Please between charity and tithe, which one is More better?for me i think is charity cause Jesus Christ speak more on charity,than tithe.charity can be done by the pagan and atheist but they wouldn't want to pay tithe.i can't just imagine my self going to winners, T.B Joshua and pastor Christ church to pay tithe oooo, when i know my way to a less privilege nor mother less baby home.why tithe is common to people who are involve in a certain religion for example the Christian, which i know very well that the pagan nor atheist will not go and give no matter what.the worst part of it is that in our today society,the churches hardly talk of charity and speak more of tithe. Their are some prayer point people do pray that are abnormal and not fine but some of our pastor do encourage it....these are the few have been able to observe.
Imagine a pastor telling his member to pray this prayer point.All my enemies die by fire die die die die die, for goodness sake, if God answered such prayer and start killing our enemies,i strongly believe the earth wouldn't have a single soul cause inasmuch as we have enemies, we are other people's enemy.instead of praying,father lord forgive my enemies and give them the heart of forgiveness and love,so that we will live in peace and harmony,the reverse will be the case.imagine a world of enemities,i just pray our good lord have mercy on we all.The other one that annoy me most is this one. A Christian will say, father lord thank you for making me to see this day, for so many slept but couldn't wake up and so many slept but find them self in the hospital but im alive thank you lord.for crying out loud are you happy that some are dead and you are alive?instead of saying father i thank you for making me to see this day for so many slept but couldn't wake up and some fine them self in the hospital bt am alive thank you and for those that are dead,i pray you forgive them all their sin and take them to your paradise,and the one's who find them self in the hospital, i pray you heal them as soon as possible and provide a mean in which they will use to pay the bill without stress.in such case the reverse has always been the case to some Christian...another one is this, imagine a Christian praying, father i thank you for this food for so many wish for it but couldn't get it but am eating sound and large,thank you.my question is this, are they thanking God that he provide food for them and didn't provide for other?instead of saying father thank you for this food and for those that wish for it but didn't get it,i pray you grant them their wish and heart desire and above all, provide their daily bread as promise....but to some Christian the reverse is the case.they are just too numerous, to mention a few.though some of this are mis-take, but for those who are doing it intentionally,pls stop it.it's not the right way to pray.
Moral
please as a Christian let try to start praying for other's. For if we don't pray for the widow's, who will?if we don't pray for the sick, who will?if we don't pray for the less privilege and orphan, who will?if we don't pray for our neighbor, who will?if we don't pray for our friends,family and relation, who will?and if we don't pray for this our dear country,who will?

when I was very young I use to hear do not annoy any old woman be it ur grandma or any old person,that if she open her mouth to swear for u,according to them u will no longer see good until she reverse it.......but going into religious aspect,I learnt that we re created for a propose nt only that but with a genuine Destiny that we must fulfil.though sometimes it maybe delay bt not deny....
my question is can the swear (curse) of any old person or ur parents makes one not to fulfil his/her destiny at all?if yes.what about the swear of a step parents?and again is,there swear more powerful than God's word,plan and propose towards one's life?
