RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2026. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome D.Sc, D.Sc, DD THE KEY IS WALKING IN LOVE But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22). Someone once wrote me a letter wanting to know how to overcome arrogance with God's help. He had been perceived as arrogant and genuinely wanted to dismiss that trait from his life and personality. That was a wonderful desire. Simply wanting to change was his first step toward victory over it. But here’s what you must do when you desire a change in any area of your life: act on the Word. Be a doer of the Word as read in our opening scripture. Respond to God’s Word and live accordingly. So, in dealing with arrogance, for example, you act on the Word. Ephesians 5:1-2: "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love…." The key to overcoming arrogance is walking in love. Then the Bible says in Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." The fruit of the Spirit refers to the natural product of the recreated human spirit, the born-again spirit. These qualities are part of your innate nature and love is one of them. Galatians 5:19-21 lists the works of the flesh, and arrogance is of the flesh. Choose to walk in humility, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control. These qualities are already within your spirit. Cultivate and develop them by walking in love. Every so often, declare, “I will walk in love.” Make that decision, and you’ll experience the glory of God in your life in a remarkable way, because love is His nature and the way of victory. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your Word that purifies and renews my heart. Your love is fully expressed in me. I walk in humility, meekness and love toward others. Arrogance has no place in my spirit, for the beauty of Christ is seen and heard in my words, thoughts and actions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 4:1-2 KJV I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, [2] With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 MSG Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head, [5] Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others, 1 John 2:3-5 KJV And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [5] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜YOU CAN HAVE GRACE MANY TIMES MORE* *Tuesday, February 24th* *Pastor Chris* _*📖But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen (2 Peter 3:18).*_ The Bible tells us to grow in grace, to take advantage of the grace that’s in Christ Jesus. Don’t stay in the grace you had last year. It worked then, but there’s more. God wants you to move to new and higher levels of grace. You can have grace many times more. You might ask, “How can I make this happen? The Word of God shows us exactly how. 2 Peter 1:2 says, _*“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.”*_ Notice that it says “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you,” not added but multiplied through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. The more you get to know God through the Word, the more His grace in your life multiplies exponentially. The knowledge of God that multiplies His grace in your life is “epignosis” (Greek). It means full and exact knowledge, knowledge that unites you with its object. Without that intimate, revelation knowledge or “epignosis” of Christ, your grace could be stagnant or only go from little grace to a little more grace. But as you study and meditate on the Word to know the Lord more, the increase is sudden. That’s when you realize that your abilities have increased. Your influence, prosperity and greatness keep spreading. It’s part of the reasons He tells us to meditate on the Scriptures: _*“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all”*_ (1 Timothy 4:15). The Word "appear" is from the Greek “Phaneros”, and it means to spread abroad, to be distinctly known to all. So, when the grace of God is multiplied in your life, apart from the increased capacity or ability to do more, your prosperity, influence, greatness, impact, and the extent of your dominion are far-reaching and unmistakably known to all. Hallelujah! *🙏PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for showing me the way of increase. I grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. My grace is multiplied through revelation knowledge. I function in higher levels of ability, favour and influence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *James 4:6 KJV But he giveth more grace. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜YOU ARE THE WAY* *Sunday, February 22nd* *Pastor Chris* _*📖Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).*_ Many people say God will make a way where there seems to be no way. It’s a wonderful encouragement. But such expressions aren’t scripturally correct, especially when you understand who Christ has made you to be. In the New Testament, God isn’t “making a way” for you; rather, He’s made you the way. The Lord Jesus said, _*"...I am the way, the truth, and the life..."*_ (John 14:6). He was our way to God and the blessings of the Kingdom: deliverance, divine health, and every blessing that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ consummated for us. He brought us to the Father in our salvation. Now that we’re in Him, we are, to every sinner, the way to God. That’s why when you study the book of Acts, you’ll see that the church is called "The Way." We have become the way. Why would you be looking for the way when you’re the way? Moreover, the Lord Jesus said, _*“…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”*_ (John 8:12). As He is, so are you in this world. Inside us is the way out of trouble, and the way that lights up the darkness. We never walk in darkness or confusion; we never find ourselves out of the way. If you don’t know what to do, pray in the Holy Ghost and your eyes will be opened, and you will be led. The Bible says, _*"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God"*_ (Romans 8:14). So, don’t quote Old Testament blessings without understanding them through the light of the New Testament. The New has replaced the Old (Hebrews 8:13). Hallelujah! *🗣️CONFESSION* *Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into oneness with Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I live in the light of your Word and walk in the wisdom of the Spirit. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *FRIDAY 20TH FEBRUARY 2026.* *PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.SC, D.SC, DD* *BUILD YOURSELF WITH THE WORD* *_For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...(Proverbs 23:7)._* Take a moment to think about the kind of person you are, the thoughts you think, the way you act and respond. If someone else were exactly like you and given to you as a friend, would you like that person? Some might say yes; others might hesitate. But whether yes or no, the point is clear: you’re what you have made yourself to be. Every thought going through your mind right now is a reflection of what you have become. Over the years, what you have consistently listened to, read, and watched has steadily moulded your thinking, your values, and ultimately, who you have become. You reason the way you do because of what you have made out of yourself. You’re your own handiwork. The Scripture shows that life is from within. Who you are outwardly is only the expression of who you’ve become inwardly. That’s why God gives us His Word, to reshape our minds and fill our spirits with divine thoughts. When you fill your heart with God’s Word, you’ll unveil His glory, wisdom and excellence. That’s why the Bible says, *_“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord”_* (Colossians 3:16). Then Acts 20:32 says, *_“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”_* *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for your Word that builds, trains and transforms my life from glory to glory. My thoughts, words and actions are aligned with your Word, producing excellence, wisdom and beauty in my life. I’m your workmanship, full of your glory and goodness, manifesting your righteousness everywhere, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY:* *Romans 12:2 KJV* And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. *James 1:22-25 KJV* But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. *Proverbs 4:23 KJV* Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. *DAILY SCRIPTURE READING* *1-Year Bible Reading Plan:* Mark 4:21-41 & Leviticus 16-18 *2-Year Bible Reading Plan:* Acts 20:1-12 & Psalm 31- 32 *We trust you have been blessed by this devotional. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY 8TH FEBRUARY 2026 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD HE TOOK YOUR BLAME And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:21-22). How gracious and loving the Lord is, to think that He actually took responsibility for your errors! He took responsibility for your sins. All that time you were blaming yourself for something terrible that you did, you actually didn’t have to because God put all the blame on the Lord Jesus. When He hung on the Cross, all your sins and mistakes; past, present and future were fully remitted. So, today, even when Satan and others blame you, or you blame yourself, it makes no difference. There’s no judgment against you, for the Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1). There’re people who, when they do something wrong, find it difficult to forgive themselves, sinking into guilt and regret. No! Believe in the Lord Jesus and what He accomplished for you. Stop blaming yourself. The Bible says, “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight” (Colossians 1:21-22). Think about it! He didn’t say you never did anything wrong; rather, in spite of all the wrong things you’ve done, He’s not mad at you. He reconciled you to Himself. He made you righteous, holy, sanctified, glorified and justified. That’s Christianity. That’s the Gospel. That’s the message He sent us to tell the world; that He’s not holding men’s sins against them: “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them...” (2 Corinthians 5:19). The price has been paid. The guilt has been lifted. Everyone who believes is free to live in God’s righteousness, peace and joy forevermore. Romans 5:8-10 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us…For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the wonderful truth of your Word. I rejoice because Jesus took my blame; now I live free from guilt, condemnation and accusation. I’m holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in your sight. I live in your presence justified, sanctified and glorified, rejoicing in the liberty of your grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Isaiah 43:25 KJV I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Colossians 1:21-22 NIV Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜FRUSTRATE SATANIC AGENDAS* *Friday, February 6th* *Pastor Chris* _*📖Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).*_ It’s important that we keep exercising our divine authority to frustrate satanic activities in our world and impede their agendas until their appointed time. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 says, _*“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”*_ “He who now letteth” is us, the Church. We’re the restraining force against evil in the world today. We’re the reason Satan can’t rule this world until after the rapture of the Church. Satan knows this; remember when the Lord Jesus ministered in Jerusalem and Judea, the demons cried out to Him saying, “Have you come to destroy us before the time?” (Matthew 8:29). They challenged Him on the matter of time, on legal grounds. They knew their destruction was certain but not yet due. They understood times and seasons, and they recognised divine legality. In the same way, we understand the legal authority of the Church in this present age. This present dispensation is the age of the Church, the Body of Christ. We don’t run concurrently with the reign of the Antichrist. Though the spirit of Antichrist is already in the world, it can’t dominate or subdue the Church. The Word declares, _*“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them…”*_ (1 John 4:4). That means the Church has overcome, overshadowed and subdued the antichrist spirit, all satanic forces, and their agents. So, when you issue decrees and command restraint over evil systems and satanic agendas, do so on the basis of this divine legality. It’s perfectly consistent with God’s eternal Word and His Word can’t be broken. No demon can resist when you act from the perspective of the Word and divine authority. Rule, reign, and win with this truth every day. Keep Satan and his cohorts in check. Restrain them by exercising your divine authority in Christ. *🙏PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for granting me the understanding of your Word and the authority to restrain evil in our world. I decree that satanic agendas are frustrated by the power of the Holy Spirit, and righteousness, peace and truth reign in the nations. The influence of darkness is broken, and the Church of Jesus Christ triumphs continually, in Jesus’ Name. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, SUNDAY 1ST FEBRUARY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS *SATURATE YOUR ATMOSPHERE WITH TRUTH* “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17). As the words of the Lord Jesus reveal in our opening scripture, the Word of God is truth. You’re responsible for saturating your own spiritual atmosphere with truth, and God’s Word is truth. Therefore, every now and then, speak; release faith-filled words into the realm of the spirit. Saturate your environment with truth. Even in your prayers, pray the Word; release divine truths that create realities. Words are powerful; they carry substance. When those words are God’s truths, they go forth as spiritual missiles, shaping your world in line with your confessions. Even now, declare that you walk in victory and success continually in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Declare that you walk in prosperity and in divine health from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. Those are not mere words but spiritual releases; they penetrate the atmosphere of your life, influencing everything in their path. The Lord Jesus said in John 7:38, “…out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” That means your words, spoken in faith and through the Spirit, flow out of you like rivers, impacting your world. Just as water evaporates unseen into the sky and eventually condenses and pours down as rain, the words you speak may be intangible, but soon they’ll pour down in results. So, speak into your city. Speak into your nation. Speak God’s truths over your ministry, your family, job, business and finances. Don’t relent. Keep pouring truth into the realm of the spirit. It’ll obliterate the darkness, for the Bible says, “...the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:5); and the Word of God is light. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the power of your Word in my life and its transformative impact in my environment. I have a glorious life; I walk in success, prosperity and divine health. As I speak, rivers of living water flow from my spirit, causing your will to be established and the atmosphere charged with life, light, victory and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜RULE YOUR WORLD WITH YOUR WORDS* *Monday, January 12th* *Pastor Chris* _*📖For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:37).*_ Words are powerful; they’re tangible spiritual instruments of creation. God created the universe by speaking, and being made in His image, you have His creative ability. Your words are much more than sounds; they carry spiritual substance. They frame your life and rule your world. Your life rises or falls to the level of your confessions or your mouth-work. When you speak in line with God’s Word, you set in motion the divine laws of success, prosperity, and victory. Conversely, when you speak words of fear, doubt, or defeat, you give room to the adversary. The Bible says, _*“Death and life are in the power of the tongue...”*_ (Proverbs 18:21). 1 Peter 3:10 says, _*“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.”*_ To refrain your tongue from evil is to refuse to speak anything that contradicts the Word of God. It means to speak the Word only and always, irrespective of the sensory evidence or perception. Every time you speak, release faith, not fear; life, not death; and victory, not failure. Your mouth is the control centre of your destiny. Don’t wait for situations to change before you speak; speak the change you want to see. Declare who you are in Christ, what you have, and what you can do through Him. Your words are divine tools for rulership; rule your world with your words. You’re a king, and kings reign with words. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says where the word of a king is, there’s power. Kings make decrees, and the Bible says you shall decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you (Job 22:28). Use your mouth to issue the right decrees about your life, your health, your family, your future, your environment and your destiny. Hallelujah! *🗣️CONFESSION* *My words are full of power and life. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜THE POWER OF MEDITATION* *Sunday, January 11th* *Pastor Chris* _*📖This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1: .*_Meditation is one of the most powerful principles in the Word of God. It’s the spiritual process that causes the Word to move from your mind into your spirit, where it becomes a living force. Through meditation, the Word moves from information to revelation and from revelation to manifestation. Your life becomes the living epitome of the Word. Meditating on the Word goes beyond merely thinking the Word in your mind; it involves muttering, talking under your breath until it dominates your consciousness. This is an important key to permanent and undeniable success, as read in our opening scripture. From muttering the Word in meditation, you’re to graduate to the third and higher level of meditation, which is to shout or roar (Hebrew—Hagah). You constantly “roar” the Word in victory and celebration. It produces boldness, faith and insight. These and more are the benefits of meditation. It aligns your thoughts with God’s thoughts and synchronises your words with His will. The more you meditate, the more the Word dominates your senses, emotions and circumstances. Soon, you see and speak as God does, and the impossible becomes possible. Don’t allow a day to pass without meditating on the Word. Set time apart to ponder the Scriptures, speak them aloud, and visualise their fulfilment in your life. As you do, the Word will energise your spirit and produce in and for you what it talks about. Hallelujah! *🙏PRAYER* *Dear Father, I thank you for causing your Word to dwell in me richly, bringing ineffable blessings to my life. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Thursday, 8 January 2026 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Theme: *The Epitome Of The Blessing* *And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise* (Galatians 3:29). When God said to Abraham, *And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing* (Genesis 12:2), He wasn’t referring to something abstract or symbolic. He was establishing a divine lineage of blessing, one that now flows through you in Christ. You’re not merely someone who’s blessed; you’re the very embodiment of the blessing. The blessing of God is a living force within you. When you show up, prosperity arrives; progress sets in; righteousness is in force. When you speak, doors open, lives are transformed. You’re a distributor of divine favour and grace. Everything about you radiates the blessing. Understand that the blessing isn’t something you seek to receive from outside; it’s who you are. You’re the fulfilment of God’s promise to Abraham. Just as Abraham became great through the blessing, you’ve been empowered to prosper and to make others prosper. Your presence in a home, workplace, or city is a divine advantage to that place. Let this be your mindset. Declare continually, “I am blessed, and I’m a blessing. I’m a divine advantage everywhere I go.” This consciousness will transform your world and manifest the glory of God through you. Confession *I’m the seed of Abraham, and therefore, the blessing of God flows in and through me. I’m a solution and a divine advantage to my world. I bring prosperity, peace and progress to all those that come in contact with me. I’m the expression of God’s goodness and the dispenser of His grace, glory and righteousness. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES* _Rev. Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ *STEWARDS OF KINGDOM RESOURCES* _Friday, 19 December 2025_ _*If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches (Luke 16:11)?*_ From the words of the Master in our opening verse, if you’re not faithful in handling earthly riches, you’ll not be entrusted with heavenly treasures. That means your attitude toward money is a test. God watches how you handle resources to determine the weight of spiritual responsibilities He can commit to you. In Christ, we’re stewards, custodians of divine resources entrusted to us for Kingdom purpose. Every blessing, every increase, every opportunity, every gift and grace that comes to you is a trust. You’re expected to manage it with Kingdom intent and purpose. The Bible tells us to use our gifts, in their various forms, to serve as faithful stewards of God’s grace (1 Peter 4:10). This includes finances. God wants us to be good financial stewards. Financial stewardship is about aligning your resources with His agenda. It’s about being conscious that your supply is for Kingdom impact, expansion, world evangelization, and not for you to hoard. Stewardship demands wisdom, planning, excellence, and accountability. It requires diligence in both little and much. Whether it’s a salary, a gift, or a business profit, treat it as a sacred trust. Use it to advance the Gospel. Honour the Lord with your finances. When you prove yourself as a faithful steward, the Lord multiplies your capacity and entrusts you with more, both spiritually and materially. *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for making me a steward of Kingdom wealth. I handle all you’ve given me with wisdom and integrity. I align my resources with your will, and I’m found faithful in little and in much. I declare that I’m a channel of blessings to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY* *1 Corinthians 4:1–2 (KJV)* 1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. *2 Corinthians 9:6–10 (KJV)* 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness ![]() *Proverbs 3:9–10 (KJV)* 9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. *DAILY SCRIPTURE READING* *1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN* Revelation 11; Micah 4-5 *2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN* Acts 1:12-26; 2 Chronicles 33 |
*Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional* _Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Thursday, December 18th 2025_ *ENTHRONED TO REIGN* _…That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority..._ *(Ephesians 1:19-21 NIV)* The Lord Jesus, when He was raised from the dead, was enthroned far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this present age but also in the one to come. He has the supreme authority in all the universe. But guess what? He raised us together with Him and seated us together with Him. This is because, according to the Scriptures, when Jesus ascended to heaven and sat on the right hand of God, which refers to the place of power, dominion and authority, we were in Him. Therefore, we’re seated together with Him in the place of power and authority. We’re enthroned to reign. Ephesians 2:6 AMPC says, *“And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”* It explains why He gave us His Name to live by, to use in the earth: because in heaven He represents us. We stand in Jesus’ stead and enforce the will of the Father here on earth. He said in Mark 16:17-18, *“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”* In Matthew 10:8 NKJV He also said, *“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons....”* So, exercise your authority and dominion in Christ over sickness, disease, death and the elements of this world. Live and operate from the very seat and presence of divine power. In Christ, you’re in the place of the greatest influence. The forces or elements of this world may want to exert their negativities on you and get you to believe or act contrary to the Word. But you must maintain your composure and reign over them in the Name of Jesus. Christianity is a life of reigning, and we reign through words. This consciousness and understanding changes how you pray, speak and make decisions. Don’t react to Satan’s antics; instead, dictate outcomes. Speak with divine authority because you occupy Christ’s seat, functioning with His divine power. Hallelujah! *PRAYER* _Dear Father, thank you for raising me up with Christ and seating me together with Him in the place of power, dominion and divine authority. I function from this place of glory and authority, ruling over darkness, circumstances and every opposition. I declare peace in my world today, in Jesus’ Name. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned_ *(Mark 16:15-16)* There’s a divine urgency in this hour. People everywhere are searching, longing and eager to know the Lord. Yet, they cannot believe without hearing the message, and they cannot hear it without a preacher: *"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher"* (Romans 10:14). That preacher is you. You’re God’s answer to their cry. Heaven is counting on you to speak, to go, to reach out and to love. The responsibility of soul winning is not for a few; it’s for all who have received the life of Christ. Don’t wait for a special calling; you’ve already been called and commissioned as read in our opening scripture. Don’t wait for better timing; now is the time. You may never know the full ripple effect or impact of your obedience to this call: One person saved can change a family, a city, or a generation. Every soul matters, and every effort counts; let this truth stir you deeply to win souls. Answer the call with joy and urgency. Your world needs you now. *PRAYER* _Dear Father, thank you for trusting me with the message of salvation; I respond with faith and obedience to this call. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜THE URGENCY OF THE GOSPEL* *Tuesday, December 9th* *Pastor Chris* _*📖I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4).*_ Time is one of the most precious resources you have, and the urgency of the moment demands that you use it wisely. Jesus knew this. He spoke of doing the Father’s work while it is day, revealing the urgency of the times and the shortness of the window we’ve been given. There’s coming a time when the opportunities we have now to freely preach the Gospel will be gone. The doors we now walk through freely may one day be closed. That’s why you must act with urgency, preaching the Gospel. Impact your world with the light of Christ’s salvation now. Delay in evangelism can mean eternal loss for someone who needed to hear the truth from you today. That co-worker, neighbour or friend may not have another chance. You’re their light; you’re God’s point of contact to bring them out of darkness into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Don’t let them live another day without God. The Bible paints the gloomy state of those who live without God and without Christ in the world (Ephesians 2:12). They’re hopeless, in despair, and doomed to destruction. But you’re their hope. This is not a season for complacent Christianity but a time for bold action, a time to complete the full preaching of the Gospel in all nations. Let your life be aligned with heaven’s urgency. Every moment matters. Every soul counts. Therefore, be led by the Spirit and seize the moment. Do all you can while you can! Recall the words of the Master, _*“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”*_ (John 9:4). The night approaches, but for now, we shine, proclaiming God’s truth, turning sinners to righteousness. We’re compelled by Christ’s love, and in the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 9:16, necessity is laid upon us to preach the Gospel. Woe unto us if we don’t preach the Gospel. The nations are ready and ripe with harvest, and we’re bringing in the sheaves. *🗣️CONFESSION* *I recognize the urgency of the Gospel and I act swiftly. *Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional* _Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Friday, November 21st 2025_ *CRAVE THE WORD WITH PASSION AND INTENSITY* _But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ_ *(2 Peter 3:18)* 1 Peter 2:1-2 says, *"Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby."* This gives a remarkable insight as to how to grow spiritually and the kind of life you ought to be living. You're to put away every trace of wickedness, deceit, insincerity, pretence, envy, and slander. The Living Bible renders it beautifully: *"So get rid of your feelings of hatred. Don't just pretend to be good! Be done with dishonesty and jealousy and talking about others behind their backs"* (1 Peter 2:1). Rather than continue in these things, God instructs, *"... desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby"* (1 Peter 2:2). He wants you to grow up in your salvation. Now that you have received Christ, have a strong desire for the Word. Long to grow in the things of God. Crave the Word of God with intensity and delight. I've met many people over the years who had such a deep desire to grow. They were hungry for the Lord. They asked questions, searched the Scriptures, attended church services regularly, and yearned to learn. It's always a beautiful thing to behold. Have a heartfelt, continuous craving for the Word. Colossians 3:16 says, *"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."* Let your appetite for the Word be insatiable. Like Job, esteem and desire the Word more than your necessary food (Job 23:12). Make it your delight, and as a result, whatsoever you do will prosper (Read Psalm 1:1-3). Hallelujah! That's the will of God for you. *PRAYER* _Dear Father, thank you for your Word that builds me up and establishes me in the faith. By your Word, I grow up into the fullness of my salvation, strong, unshakable and fruitful in every good work; prosperous and in health, in Jesus' Name. Amen._ *FURTHER STUDY:* *1 Peter 2:1-2 AMPC* So be done with every trace of wickedness (depravity, malignity) and all deceit and insincerity (pretense, hypocrisy) and grudges (envy, jealousy) and slander and evil speaking of every kind, *2* like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [completed] salvation, *Hebrews 5:12-14* For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. *13* For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. *14* But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. *Colossians 3:16* Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. *Joshua 1:8* This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. *1 Year Bible Reading Plan :* James 4:13- 5:1-20 & Ezekiel 24-26 *2 Year Bible Reading Plan :* John 13:21-30 & 1 Chronicles 21 *Get Your PDF NOVEMBER 2025 Rhapsody Copy on This link: https://distribution.rhapsodyofrealities.org/rin/partykels64 today* *Follow Pastor Chris: http://pastorchrislive.org* *For a daily article reading and feedback: www.rhapsodyofrealities.org* |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. SUNDAY OCTOBER 19 2025 RESPOND PROMPTLY TO HIS VOICE Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness (Hebrews 3: .Cultivating a very rich and focused relationship with the Holy Spirit is essential for your spiritual growth and maturity. The Holy Spirit lives in you; He guides and leads you into all truth. Recognizing His voice and responding appropriately would transform your walk with Him and help you fulfil His purpose for your life gloriously. Maybe you’ve been out talking with someone, and afterwards, the Holy Spirit says to you, “You talked too much today. You shouldn’t have said the things you said.” Don’t brush it off, thinking it’s just your mind. Take that simple correction seriously and thank Him for it. That way, you’re encouraging His ministry in your life. Some ignore His promptings and get into trouble eventually. But His desire is always to help you avert every danger that might be lurking ahead. Isaiah 30:21 (NIV) says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Today, that voice is not behind you; it’s inside you. When you hear His voice within you telling you what you should do or not do, act swiftly. Train yourself to recognize and respond to His voice. It’s easy to know His voice because He gives you guidance and direction in line with the Word. Everything He tells you sides with the Word. Sadly, some continue to resist and ignore His voice. The result of that is stagnation and failure. Month after month, they remain the same, stuck in a cycle without progress, immature in their spiritual walk. Spiritual maturity is marked by sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Mature Christians yield quickly to His correction and instruction. They understand that the Spirit’s guidance is vital for effective Christian living and spiritual growth. Therefore, they respond quickly to His guidance and voice with humility. Hallelujah! PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for giving me a heart that’s sensitive to your Word and to your voice. Through the guidance and promptings of the Holy Spirit, I live an excellent life that’s fully pleasing to you as I fulfil my destiny in Christ. Your wisdom fills my heart, and your love flows freely through me as I walk in sync with the Spirit, growing in maturity, grace and purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES* Rev. Chris Oyakhilome *FOCUS ON YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE* Wednesday, 15 October 2025 *_And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23–24)._* A lot of people allow themselves to be distracted. They get caught up in the busyness of life, petty worries, and worldly pursuits. Before they realize it, they’ve veered off course from God's divine purpose. Distractions can cause you to lose sight of what truly matters. They pull you away from your God-given assignment. So, stay alert and refuse to be distracted. God has planned a specific work for you to do. There’s a divine assignment with your name on it. If you neglect it, you will have to give account to Him. So stay focused on your purpose. The Lord Jesus said, *_“...My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work”_* (John 4:34). *_“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”_* (John 9:4). Are you about the Father’s work? Is it your goal to finish your assignment, to fulfil your ministry in the Gospel? The Apostle Paul had the same mindset as the Lord Jesus; he refused every form of distraction and stayed focused on his assignment. In Philippians 3:13-14, he said, *_“...this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”_* In Hebrews 12:1, he gave an important admonition which, apparently, was a hallmark of his own life. He said, *_“...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”_* At the end, he said, *_“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”_* (2 Timothy 4:7). That’s what truly matters. Be mindful of your divine purpose and responsibilities. Be faithful and diligent in the things God has asked you to do. We have a clear mandate to complete the full preaching of the Gospel to the whole world. You have a role in this. Set your eyes on the goal, run your race with perseverance and finish your course with joy. Praise God! *PRAYER* *_Dear Father, thank you for the divine assignment you've given me. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Dsc Dsc DD* *SUNDAY, 28TH SEPTEMBER 2025* *RIGHTEOUSNESS SPEAKS* *_But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise… (Romans 10:6).*_ Righteousness has a voice; it speaks! The Bible says the righteousness which is of faith doesn’t beg, complain, or fear; it declares God’s truths. It speaks the language of victory, boldness and dominion. Being born again, you were born righteous; you were born with the life and nature of God. His righteousness was imparted to your spirit, supplanting the sin nature. That righteousness is a nature and a position, but it also empowers your speech. It causes you to talk like God. So, when you say, “I’m the righteousness of God in Christ,” it’s much more than a positive confession. It’s the affirmation of truth! You’re saying what God has said. The Bible says, “He has said, so that we may boldly say...” (Hebrews 13:5-6). He said in 2 Corinthians 5:21, *_“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”_* Speaking the same things with God is how we activate and release the life and blessings of righteousness. You can’t walk in your inheritance without saying it. You can’t reign in life unless you talk as the royalty that you are. The Lord Jesus said you shall have whatsoever you say (Mark 11:23). He also said, “By your words you shall be justified” (Matthew 12:37). Therefore, you have to speak and speak right. The righteousness of faith doesn’t say, “I hope one day I’ll be healed or helped.” No! Rather, it says, “I have and walk in divine health, and I’m marvellously helped of the Lord.” The righteousness of faith calls things that are not as though they were; it speaks reality, and the Word of God is the reality. When you speak the Word of God in faith, you align your life with heaven’s will. You silence doubt and confusion. You activate angels. You chart a course of divine success. So, speak boldly. Declare your health, peace, prosperity and victory. Express your righteousness through your words. *CONFESSION* *I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I speak words of life, power and faith.
