*YOUR PRESENT AND PERMANENT PLACE OF DOMICILE*

_Thursday, December 5th 2024._

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_

_*Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13).*_

Our opening scripture says God has transferred us from the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of His Love-Son. That's where you are now. The transfer wasn't a process; it's not something that happens from time to time; it's already been effectuated, and it was a permanent transfer. Your present and permanent place of domicile is the Kingdom of God's Love-Son.

The question is: do you realize you're in His Kingdom? It's important to know this because it means you're not under the dominion of Satan. You're seated together with Christ, _*"Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come"*_ (Ephesians 1:21).

Recall what the Bible says about our Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Timothy 6:15-16: He's the _*"...blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto...."*_ In other words, He only has immortality (life, "deathlessness"wink and dwells in unapproachable light. He is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5), and you're in Him.

That means in you, there's no darkness, no sickness, disease or infirmity, nothing of Satan because you were born into God's Kingdom of light—His marvellous light: _*"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"*_ (1 Peter 2:9).

If this is true, and thank God it is, how can you have cancer? Where will diabetes, hypertension, heart condition, migraine headache, etc., come from since you presently and permanently dwell in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son where there's no darkness but light; where life and immortality reign? How can the devil oppress you when you're not under his jurisdiction?

In Luke 10:19, the Lord said, _*"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."*_ It's the reason you can say, "In the Name of Jesus, I refuse to accommodate Satan and anything from him; I belong in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son, Jesus Christ, with dominion over Satan, sickness, disease, death and the demons of darkness." Hallelujah!

*CONFESSION*

*I'm in the Kingdom of God's Love-Son, where there's no darkness, disease, failure or death. I'm seated with Christ, far above all principality, power, might, dominion and everything that's named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Amen.*

*HE DRAWS THEM IN THROUGH HIS MESSAGE*

_Wednesday, December 4th 2024_

_*No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him... (John 6:44).*_

The Lord Jesus explained that God draws individuals through His Word and His message: *“It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me”* (John 6:45). When people hear the message and respond in faith, they’re drawn to Jesus because *“…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”* (Romans 10:17).

This means for someone to come to Christ, they first need to hear the message of the Gospel (Romans 10:14). This underscores the importance of our individual responsibility in preaching and sharing the Gospel because it is through this proclamation that God draws people to Himself. So, more than ever before, preach the Gospel with conviction.

In Romans 1:16-17, Paul's conviction is palpable as he asserts that the Gospel is the definitive power of God for salvation. No wonder he preached it boldly, covering whole regions and territories with the Gospel, even at the peril of his life. He said in Romans 15:19, *“…from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.”*

His valedictory remarks to the Christians at Ephesus, just before he rounded off his ministry, will provoke your faith for the Gospel and literally make you weep in intercession for souls. Read the entire portion in Acts 20:18-27. Paul knew that there are no alternatives; the Gospel is the singular pathway to salvation for all who believe.

Therefore, like Paul, be resolute and absolute in your commitment to proclaiming the Gospel. Refuse to stay silent in your workplace, in the marketplace, and in your community. Consider the divine connections and opportunities God orchestrates in your life—the people you meet, the places you go—they’re not just for your personal gain but opportunities to share the message of salvation. Proclaim Christ to everyone you meet, recognizing that God networks us primarily to fulfil His eternal purpose of drawing people to Himself through us. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER / CONFESSION*

Dear Father, I recognize that it is through the proclamation of your Word that you draw people unto yourself. I walk in boldness and clarity as I share the message of salvation with those in my sphere. I see every encounter as an opportunity orchestrated by you to bring others into the Kingdom. By your Spirit, I’m empowered to be an effective witness of your grace and love to a hurting world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

*DECLARE WHAT YOU WANT IN HIS NAME*

_And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues_ *(Mark 16:17)*

There’s a difference between calling on the Name of Jesus and making a demand in His Name. It’s crucial to understand this distinction. Consider Romans 10:13; it says, *"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."* Sinners can call upon His Name for salvation, but as Christians, we use His Name; we exercise dominion in His Name.

Using His Name isn’t about calling out to Him as if you’re still a sinner seeking salvation. Now that you’re born again, you belong to the household of God. The Name of Jesus is now named upon you and given to you to live by. You don’t need to call upon Him anymore for anything; rather, you use His Name with authority to create anything or effect the changes you desire.

Notice in our opening verse that He didn’t say, *“Call upon my name and I’ll cast the devils out and heal the sick”;* no! Rather, you’re to use His Name to cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse lepers, and raise the dead. His Name is an instrument; use it! In John 14:13-14 He said, *"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do...If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it."*

What a bold statement! That means you can demand anything in His Name and it’ll happen. For example, if you were in a distressing situation, instead of calling *"Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!"* out of desperation or panic, declare what you want in His Name. Speak with the authority He’s given you. You say, *"In the Name of Jesus, I demand healing,"* or *"In the Name of Jesus, you devil of darkness, I command you to lose your grip and get out!"*

Always remember that you’re in charge and in control because you function in the Name of Jesus. Everything in life, physical and spiritual, including governments, thrones, the galaxies, principalities and powers, are all subject to the Name of Jesus. Declare what you want in His Name with confidence, and you’ll have a testimony. Glory be to God!

*PRAYER*

_Dear Father, thank you for the power and authority you've granted us to use the Name of Jesus. I walk in this authority and exercise dominion over circumstances and situations. I speak healing, peace and prosperity in His Name, and I thank you for the confidence and assurance that come with using the Name of Jesus to effect a change and bring your will to pass. Amen._

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*Philippians 2:9-11* Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: *10* That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; *11* And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

*Acts 3:16* And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

*John 16:23* And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

*YOU’RE HIS WITNESS TO YOUR GENERATION*

_*O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called (1 Timothy 6:20).*_

Do you realize you're a witness to your generation? The Lord Jesus said in Acts 1:8, *“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”* You’re His witness to all those who are connected to you: your co-workers, family members, and those in your neighbourhood or estate where you live. The Gospel has been committed to you for their salvation.

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:11, *“According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.”* Paul said the Gospel was committed to his trust. It’s the same with you. You’ve been entrusted with the Gospel. The same message that saved your life has been committed to your trust. Now, you ought to use that same Gospel to bring salvation to others. That’s what success is. You become a fruit-producing branch. Jesus said, *“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”* (John 15:5).

Paul said to Timothy, *“…keep that which is committed to thy trust…”* (1 Timothy 6:20). That term committed is from an interesting Greek word, *"parakatathéké"* which means *“a deposit.”* This means a deposit has been made; something has been given to your trust. Now you’re going to use that investment of your personality.

You’re like a bag of seeds; the deposits in you are seeds of the Kingdom that you plant in other people. That’s your number one job. If you give utmost attention to it, everything else will fall into place. Remember the words of Jesus: *“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”* (Matthew 6:33).

The things that the Gentiles seek after will be added to you if you seek the expansion of God’s Kingdom first. Remember, you’re representing the Kingdom, and now, the Kingdom is working in your behalf. Be sure to witness to someone about Jesus Christ. We're having ReachOut World Day tomorrow; give at least one person in your sphere of contact a copy of Rhapsody of Realities, and see the Kingdom of God expand through you.

*PRAYER*

Dear Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I recognize the responsibility and honour it is to be a witness to my generation. My life is a testament to your love and grace, producing lasting fruit for your Kingdom. Thank you for the privilege to serve and represent this glorious Kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

*TRANSCENDENTLY BLESSED*

Wednesday, November 27th .
Pastor Chris

_*Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).*_

As a Christian, there's no blessing from God that's not already in you and actively at work in your life. You've been blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Just imagine any blessing you want; it's already yours because you're in Christ; the blessings are in Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us that all the blessings of God in Christ are yes and amen to the glory of God. Hallelujah!

It explains why Peter declares in 1 Peter 3:9, _*"Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing."*_ In Christ Jesus, we're supremely and graciously blessed; no curse can work against you. You're seated together with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this world, but also in that which is to come (Ephesians 1:21).

Therefore, from where and from whom would the curse come? Remember the story of Balaam, a prophet hired by Balak to curse Israel. He realized that no curse or enchantment could prevail against God's chosen people. God had blessed them, and no external power could undo that blessing. Numbers 23:23 says, _*"Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel...."*_

If the Old Testament Israel couldn't be cursed, how much more the Church of Christ, also called the Israel of God? Hallelujah! No evil machinations, enchantments or witchcraft can work against you. The demons recognize who you are; there's a mark on you; you're branded by God and they know it! They know you're blessed and superior to them. You're in Christ, and Christ is in you.

Someone may try to take your position at work; you don't need to get worked up or start praying against them. You're already victorious. That's what the Bible says, _*"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us"*_ (Romans 8:37). You're always in victory (1 Corinthians 15:57). Glory to God!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for making me a partaker of your divine nature and for blessing me with your abundant grace. I walk in divine favour, because I'm supremely blessed. My life is full of glory and excellence. I'm a living testimony of your manifold wisdom. Thank you for the victory I have in Christ now and always, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Galatians 3:13-14* Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. *||*

*||* *Numbers 23:23 AMPC* Surely there is no enchantment with or against Jacob, neither is there any divination with or against Israel. [In due season and even] now it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God wrought! *||*

*||* *1 Peter 3:9 NIV* Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. *||*

*REVELATION: THE TRUE PATH TO KNOWING HIM*

_But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me..._ *(Galatians 1:15-16)*

There're those who attempt to understand God through their intellect as though God could be studied in a laboratory. However, knowing God is not something that can be achieved through mental effort or intellectual exercise. Even Paul the apostle, a highly educated man, realized that his learning was insufficient when it came to knowing Jesus Christ. He needed revelation.

You can only know God by the revelation of the Spirit. There's a level of humility required to reach that point. You must come to the realization that no amount of intellectual prowess could help you here; you need God's revelation. And when you humble yourself, God will reveal Himself to you as He did with Paul.

Paul was an erudite scholar; read Philippians 3 where he declared his resume and made some very thought-provoking statements. He said, *"Concerning the righteousness which is in the law, I was blameless";* he knew it all (Philippians 3:6). Then he says in verses 8-10, *"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: ...that I may win Christ, and be found in him...That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection..."* (Philippians 3:8-10).

Then in Galatians 1:15-16, he said, *"But when it pleased God...to reveal his Son in me."* It was by revelation that Paul eventually came to know Jesus Christ. No wonder he prayed a beautiful prayer of the Spirit for the Christians in Ephesus that God would grant them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17-18).

He understood that you couldn't *"experiment"* or hypothesize to know God or discover Him through history alone. Without revelation, no one could truly know God, and that's why we pray for those who don't know Him, that their eyes be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that the veil of darkness in their hearts be removed by the Spirit to receive divine revelation and experience the fullness of God's love and salvation. Amen.

*PRAYER*

_Dear Father, I pray for those yet to know you that you will reveal yourself to them by your Spirit, removing every veil of darkness and barrier of ignorance and pride from their hearts. I pray that their minds be enlightened to know and experience the fullness of your love and salvation, and comprehend the truth of the Gospel. By your grace, many will come to the full knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ today, in Jesus' Name. Amen._

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*1 Corinthians 2:9-12* But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. *10* But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. *11* For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. *12* Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

*Ephesians 1:15-18* Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; *17* That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: *18* The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

*Matthew 16:13-17* When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? *14* And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. *15* He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? *16* And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. *17* And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

*THE REAL MEDICINE*

Monday, November 25th .
Pastor Chris

_*My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).*_

Notice what we just read; first, it says _*"...attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart...."*_ How can you attend to God's words if you don't know them? That's why it's important to study, meditate, and act on the Word continually by the Spirit.

Secondly, it says, _*"For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."*_ God's Word has the power to heal and deliver. His words are life and health to all your flesh. The Hebrew word for health here is "marpe," and it means cure or medicine; the Word has curative powers. That's why the King James Version uses the word 'health'; God's Word is medicine for your body.

If you have a problem with your body, like a health condition, and you meditate on God's Word, you'll be cured. God's Word is the real medicine—the universal, infallible panacea for any issue regarding your health. Through meditation, the real medicine enters your heart, your veins, your arteries, your muscles, your bones, effecting a cure, mending and perfecting all things.

This is the reason someone who's been diagnosed with cancer can get cured by meditating on the Word. The Word is a healer and a cleanser (John 15:3); it'll cleanse your blood; it'll purify and cleanse it of any kind of sickness, disease or infirmity. Psalm 107:20 says, _*"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."*_

It brings to mind Job 33:19-22 where the Bible describes the sufferings of a man in pain and weakness and how his suffering became so severe; his body had deteriorated and was at the precipice of death. But verse 23 in the Amplified Classic Translation revealed his hope; it says, _*"[God's voice may be heard] if there is for the hearer a messenger or an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him [how to be upright and in right standing with God]."*_ God's voice—His Word—can be heard; when you hear it, it imparts faith to you; it brings you healing and makes you whole.

*PRAYER*

*Thank you Father for your Word that brings healing and deliverance. Your Word is medicine to my body; my entire being—my organs, bones, veins, arteries, blood—are inundated by the Word. I walk in divine health and victory, because your Word is my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Psalm 107:20* He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions. *||*

*||* *Proverbs 4:20-22 NIV* My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to one's whole body. *||*

*||* *Matthew 8:16* When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick: *||*

*IDENTIFY AND CAST THE DEVIL OUT*

_Saturday, November 23rd, 2024._

_Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_

_*And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself (Luke 13:11).*_

In Luke 13:10-17, Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the Sabbath day when He saw a woman who had a spirit of infirmity for 18 years, causing her to be bent over and unable to straighten up. He called to her and said, "Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity and laid His hands on her. Immediately, the woman was made straight, and she glorified God.

It's remarkable how Jesus ministered to the woman; He said, _*"And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?"*_ (Luke 13:16). The Lord Jesus revealed the true cause of her suffering; it was Satan who had bound her for 18 years. Jesus identified the spirit behind her affliction as a spirit of infirmity. That's why no doctor could help her, as they knew nothing about demons; but Jesus set her free from that bondage.

In the same way, many people today are suffering, not knowing the true cause of their problems. But you see, many of the challenges that some people are faced with in life are caused by demons. So, identify and cast the devil out. Demons don't care who they oppress; they can afflict children and adults alike. That's why you must cast out devils. Never be casual with or ignorant of demonic activities. Stay in the Word and be quick to exercise your dominion in Christ.

In Mark 6:7, Jesus called His twelve disciples and sent them out in pairs, giving them authority over unclean spirits. In Matthew 10:8, He instructed His disciples to _*"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."*_

In Mark 16:17, He said, _*"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils...."*_ You've been given the authority and ability to cast out devils in the Name of Jesus. Exercise that dominion even now and frustrate the influence and manipulations of Satan in your body, in the life of a loved one, and in your family or environment.

*CONFESSION*

*I have authority to heal the sick and bring health and joy to a hurting world. Satan has no place in my life, in my home or in my family. I have the power to cast out demons in Jesus' Name, and I'll use it to the glory of God. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Luke 10:17-19* And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. *||*

*||* *Mark 6:7* And he called [unto him] the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; *||*

*||* *Luke 13:10-17* And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. 11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up [herself]. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called [her to him], and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13 And he laid [his] hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. 15 The Lord then answered him, and said, [Thou] hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or [his] ass from the stall, and lead [him] away to watering? 16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

*HIS STANDARDS ARE UNCHANGING*

Wednesday, November 20th .
Pastor Chris

_*For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).*_

Without a proper understanding of righteousness, it's impossible to live a true Christian life. Why is righteousness so important? To truly understand righteousness, we must first understand God. This is because, in the world, righteousness isn't typically discussed. People might talk about doing what is right or wrong in terms of good and evil, but these are based on human definitions and moral standards.

These standards can change depending on cultural, societal, or individual beliefs about what is right or wrong. For example, in certain countries, though bizarre, their law allows for same-sex marriages, meaning that in such societies, if a man marries another man, it's considered okay. But in certain other societies, this act might be considered wrong or even punishable by death. In one place, it's seen as normal; in another, it's viewed as a grave sin. But God's position on it is clearly defined in the Scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-32).

God's concept of righteousness is different. Many people mistakenly believe that the majority opinion represents the voice of God, but that's not true. Whether the majority gets it right or wrong is irrelevant. God has His own voice, His own standards, His own Kingdom, and His own choices. He has expressed His will through Jesus Christ, whom He sent.

When we talk about righteousness, we're talking about God's ability and attribute, the character of God to be right and perfect. It is about who He is. How He thinks is always right. What He says is always right. What He does is always right because He's God. So, everything about God—His thoughts, His words, His actions—is always right. This is what we call the quality of rightness, the rightness of God.

Therefore, understanding righteousness is about understanding who God is. It is about recognizing that His standards are unchanging and not subject to human opinions or societal norms.

*PRAYER*

*Righteous Father, I align my thoughts, words and actions with your unchanging standards and live in your righteousness in this crooked and perverse world, shining as a light. I'm the unveiling of your righteousness. I'm a tree of righteousness, planted to produce fruits of righteousness. My life is a reflection of your grace and a testimony of your goodness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Romans 1:16-17* For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. *||*

*||* *Romans 1:26-32* For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. *||*

*DISPLAYING HIS EXCELLENCE AND PERFECTION*

Sunday, November 17th .
Pastor Chris

_*But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 NET).*_

In the book of Acts, Luke reports how Peter and John healed a man who had been lame from birth. As a result, Peter and John were arrested and brought before the Sanhedrin (the Jewish council). During their interrogation, Peter boldly spoke about Jesus and the power of His Name.

The Sanhedrin observed Peter and John's courage and their profound understanding of divine realities, despite their lack of formal education (Acts 4:13). They saw in Peter and John the display of the excellence and perfection of Christ. It's no surprise that the same Peter, by the Spirit, would write in 1 Peter 2:9, _*"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light."*_

This is very significant as the term "show forth" translates from the Greek "exaggellō," which means to display. Think about that as your calling, your assignment; it's to display the excellence and perfection of divinity. The King James Version uses the term ''praises" but that doesn't fully convey the meaning. The best word for it is a combination of excellence and perfection.

So, when it says you should show forth the praises of Him, it means you're to display the excellencies and perfections of the one who called you out of darkness. The AMPC renders it a bit more accurately: _*"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light."*_

Every day is an opportunity for you to fulfil this unique calling, to display the wonders, glory, perfections, love, grace, mercy and righteousness of Christ to the world. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for choosing me and bringing me into your marvellous light. I embrace my unique calling to display your virtues, perfection, love, grace, mercy and righteousness to the world. My life is a reflection of your glory, and the light of your glorious Gospel shines ever so brightly through me today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Isaiah 60:1-3* Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. *||*

*||* *Matthew 5:14-16* Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. *||*

*HIS WORKS CONTINUE THROUGH US*

Saturday, November 16th .
Pastor Chris

_*Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12).*_

What we just read are some of the most extraordinary words from the lips of the Master. He said those who believe in Him, not only will they do the same works that He did, but they'll do greater works. This is only possible because Jesus has ascended to the Father, and through the Holy Spirit, His work continues through us.

Recall what the Scripture says in lsaiah 53:10, _*"Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand."*_ This verse speaks prophetically of the Church, the body of Christ, as the seed of Jesus Christ. It tells us that after His vicarious sacrifice, the Lord Jesus will see His seed—the Church—and we shall prolong His days. Hallelujah!

That's what's going on; Jesus multiplies Himself through the Church today; He continues His mission through us. In Acts 1:1, Luke writes to Theophilus about _*"...all that Jesus began both to do and teach."*_ The key word here is "began"; Jesus started the work, but we continue it. We are the extension of His ministry, teaching, impacting and transforming lives as He did.

The same Spirit that anointed Jesus for His work resides in us, enabling us to continue and expand upon what He started. Through the Holy Spirit, we're empowered to reach more people and impact more lives for the Kingdom of God. Acts 1:8 says, _*"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."*_

The Church is the extension of Christ on earth, living in His power and authority, fulfilling His mission. This is a calling of great honour and responsibility. We're His hands, His feet, and His voice in this world, carrying out the will of the Father just as Jesus did.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of being a part of the body of Christ. I'm forever grateful that through the Holy Spirit, I'm empowered to do your will and establish your righteousness. I walk in this calling with boldness and faith, knowing that my life glorifies you. Thank you for making me an extension of your Kingdom in the earth, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *John 14:12 AMPC* I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. *||*

*||* *Isaiah 61:1-2* The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; *||*

*||* *John 20:21* Then said Jesus to them again, Peace [be] unto you: as [my] Father hath sent me, even so send I you. *||*

*||* *Matthew 28:18-20* And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. FRIDAY 15

MILK, MEAT, AND STRONG MEAT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age... (Hebrews 5:13- 14).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Our opening scripture emphasizes the importance of growing to maturity spiritually. It tells us that anyone who lives on milk is still an infant and therefore not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. The Bible talks about the sincere milk of the Word of God. Milk is for beginners; therefore, to stay on milk means to remain in spiritual infancy.

1 Peter 2:1-2 tells us something instructive; it says, "Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby." Only those who are spiritually immature practice malice, guile, hypocrisy, envy and evil speaking. Such folks are to crave or desire the pure spiritual milk of the Word and grow unto maturity.

Take your Bible study seriously, learn the truth of God's Word and grow. There's more to spiritual nourishment than just milk. There's the "meat" of God's Word, and then there's also "strong meat. Strong meat belongs to the mature in Christ, those who have learned to live spiritually.

Recall what Paul said to the Christians in Corinth: "And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able" (1 Corinthians 3:1-2). You must mature in the Word and develop a deep understanding of the Scriptures.

Just as in physical growth where a person moves from milk to solid food, there comes a time also when a Christian must transition from the elementary teachings to the deeper, more challenging doctrines of faith and then be ready to handle even more complex truths (read Hebrews 5:11-14).

Make your personal spiritual growth a top priority. Read Ephesians 4:14-15 NIV, and see God's desire for your life: "Then we will no longer be infants...Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ." Hallelujah!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, thank you for the spiritual nourishment you provide through your Word. I move beyond the basics and grow in understanding and application of the deeper truths of the Scriptures. I'm strengthened in my resolve to develop and exercise my faith, grow unto maturity, and manifest the glory- life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

📖 FURTHER STUDY:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1 Corinthians 3:1-2; And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
[2] I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Ephesians 4:14-15; that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
[15] but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Hebrews 6:1-2; Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
[2] of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

*WE DECIDE THE TIMING*

Tuesday, November 12th .
Pastor Chris

_*And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time (2 Thessalonians 2:6).*_

In 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Paul, by the Spirit writes, _*"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."*_ Who is the "son of perdition"? It's the Antichrist. The Bible describes him as one _*"Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God"*_ (2 Thessalonians 2:4).

The Antichrist is someone who not only rejects God but also exalts himself above God, setting himself up as an object of worship. This deception is a hallmark of the end times, a period of great spiritual and moral decadence. However, our theme scripture also gives us a clue about the timeline of these events; it indicates that something or someone is currently restraining the Antichrist, preventing him from being revealed before the proper time.

Who is this restraining force? It is the Church, filled with the Holy Spirit, standing in the gap and holding back the full manifestation of lawlessness. The presence of the Church on earth is the restraining force against the powers of darkness. Paul further clarifies in verse 7, _*"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way."*_

This means that lawlessness is already at work in the world, but it is being restrained by the Holy Spirit through the Church. We have a significant role to play in these last days. The Church must continue to stand firm, preach the Gospel, and live out the truth of God's Word. Until we are "taken out of the way," we have the authority to dictate the timing of the Antichrist's revelation.

Our mission is clear: Preach the Gospel to every creature, in all nations, because only through faith in Jesus Christ can they be saved. There's no other way (Mark 16:15-16). We decide the timing through our actions, our prayers, and the spread of the Gospel. As we fulfil our mission, God is counting the souls brought into His Kingdom.

He's the one who knows the exact number of those who must be saved and keeps the records. When the full number of the Gentiles is brought in as the Bible says in Romans 11:25, then the end will come. Until then, we continue to haul back the forces of darkness, keeping Satan and his cohorts of darkness where they belong—under our feet!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I stand firm, by your Spirit, against the forces of darkness and hold back the full manifestation of evil until the appointed time. I pray that every Christian remains steadfast in our mission to preach the Gospel to all nations, quickly bringing many to salvation, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Mark 16:15-16* And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. *||*

*||* *Romans 11:25* For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. *||*

*||* *1 Thessalonians 5:4-6* But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober. *||*

WORKS OF LOVE THROUGH US
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it (John 14:12-14).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
What a profound statement the Lord Jesus made in the verses above! He said, "...He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do...." He meant the works of love He continues to do by the Spirit through us because we're the extension of His ministry. As the prophet Isaiah said, "...he shall see His seed, he shall prolong his days..." (Isaiah 53:10). He's prolonging His days and continuing His ministry through us. This is so amazing.

Always remember that you're not alone; Christ is at work in you. Look closely at verse 14 of the opening verse: "If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it." Did you notice there's no special clause here? There're no conditions or exceptions; He said anything. Most people have never truly understood this enough to take advantage of it. The Lord Jesus said exactly what He meant and meant exactly what He said. Anything you ask in His Name is yours. Glory be to God!

In John 16:23, He tells us more about the day of the Church: "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing...." At first glance, this may seem like a contradiction of what we read earlier in chapter 14. But if you go back to chapter 14 and read from verse 12, you'll notice what He's talking about. He said, "...He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

The “greater works” are possible because Jesus has ascended to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit to empower us and impact the world with His love, power, and presence. We’re not limited. He has equipped us to do the same works that He did. This isn’t just about performing miracles; it’s about revealing the love and glory of God through our lives, just as Jesus did.

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of doing the works of Jesus and even greater works through the power of your Spirit in me. I declare that I am a vessel of your love, power and glory, manifesting your presence in every situation. Thank you for the confidence and boldness to ask anything in the Name of Jesus, knowing that you will do it. I rejoice and rest in the assurance of your Word, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

📖 FURTHER STUDY:
 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Mark 16:17-18; And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
[18] they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

John 14:12-14 NIV; Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
[13] And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
[14] You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Acts 1:8 AMPC; But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

BELIEVE AND ACT
📖━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned (Hebrews 11:29).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
When Moses and the children of Israel were in front of the Red Sea, Moses began to pray to God for help. But God interrupted him with a command: "Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground" (Exodus 14:15-16 NIV).

God instructed Moses to act; it was a moment of action for Moses. It wasn’t time to “wait” for God to do something but for Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea and divide it, which he did, leading to the miraculous parting of the Red Sea. Imagine if Moses had started questioning, "Lord, where will the water go? It’s water; it has to flow somewhere."

But the Bible shows us what happened to the water in a song of praise sung by Moses and the Israelites after their miraculous deliverance from the Egyptians at the Red Sea. The waters piled up; it stood up like a wall: "By the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up. The surging waters stood up like a wall; the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea" (Exodus 15:8 NIV).

When you believe, don’t ask too many questions; act! Act on the Word. When doubts arise, shake them off and declare, "All things are possible to me because I believe." Speak God’s truths. Utter words of faith—words inspired in you by the Holy Spirit—and watch God move. Faith is a leap on the Word; you take your step on the basis of what God has said and refuse to be moved by contrary and opposing circumstances. Hallelujah!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that builds my faith and strengthens my spirit. I refuse to be moved by circumstances, for I walk by faith, not by sight. BORN WITH THE DIVINE LIFE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:23).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Many haven't fully grasped who a Christian is; they think a Christian is a mere follower of Jesus Christ; no! A Christian is someone who’s born of the Word and has the life of the Word. James 1:18 NKJV says, "Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures." Recall what the Bible says concerning Jesus, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us…” (John 1:14 NKJV); we were also born in the realm of the Spirit of the same Word.

When you received the Word of God—the Gospel of Jesus Christ—into your spirit, the life that He promised was imparted to your spirit. From that moment, you were awakened to the fatherhood of God. The nature of death ceased, and the life of God took on its operation in your spirit. You became one nature with God. This helps you understand why the Bible says we’re partakers of the divine nature—associates of the Godkind: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4).

1 John 5:11-12 says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” Life here is the divine life, the God-life; it supplanted your human life when you were born again. The life inside you isn’t the same as the one inside your next-door neighbour who isn’t a Christian. Outwardly, you may look the same, but the life in you is divine, impregnable, indestructible and indomitable.

1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” The phrase “Ye are of God” means you hail from God, your origin is divine and so is your life. Blessed be God!

🗣 C O N F E S S I O N
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I’m born of God’s incorruptible seed—the Word— therefore, I have the life of the Word and walk in the consciousness of my divine nature. The divine life in me has made me indomitable, indestructible and superior to Satan, circumstances and the elements of this world. I am victorious, and I fully manifest the glory of God every day and in every place, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

📖 FURTHER STUDY:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Romans 6:4; Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

John 1:12-13; But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
[13] which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

1 John 5:11-13 NIV; And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
[12] Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

IT’S NOT A FANTASY

📖━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
The Rapture of the Church is going to happen suddenly, any time soon, and I hope you’re getting yourself ready. People will be going about their daily routines and then, suddenly, as quickly as you can blink your eyes, everyone who’s born again will check out of this world. That’s how fast it will be!

Look at the description in 1 Thessalonians 4:16: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first." There’ll be two trumpet sounds: the first sound, only Christians who have died will hear and come back to life. Then, the second trumpet sound will follow, which is the last one. At the sound of that last trumpet, the Bible says, "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air."

The Lord will descend from heaven, but He won’t touch down on the earth; instead, He will wait in the air, and we will be caught up to meet Him. All this will happen in a moment. We will be transformed from terrestrial to celestial beings, and then we’re gone, out of this world.

Imagine the headlines after we’re out of here: "They are gone!" The media will be in chaos, trying to find answers and figure out where we’ve disappeared to. But the answers are in the Bible. At that moment, those who’d be left behind would realize what a terrible mistake they had made for not believing in Jesus.

Now is the time to serve the Lord passionately and love Him with all your heart. Everything we leave behind, all the material possessions, the gold, diamonds, credit cards, houses, money, etc., that wasn't used for the Gospel prior to that time will all become meaningless. This is not a fantasy; it’s a reality that’s going to happen, and it could happen at any moment. Live in readiness, with your heart set on things above and not on the fleeting treasures of this world. Live your best and be your best for Jesus Christ, steadfast and unmoveable, diligently doing the work of the Lord.

🗣 C O N F E S S I O N
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
My heart is focused on the Lord and His soon return; therefore I live in readiness, doing the work of the Lord with faith, hope and love. I’m empowered by the Spirit to share the Gospel and prepare others for the Rapture. Amen.

Matthew 24:42-44; Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
[43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
[44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 AMPC; For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first.
[17] Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!
[18] Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.

RIVERS OF LIVING WATER ISSUING OUT OF YOU

📖━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38)

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
The words of Jesus in the scripture above should be real and tangible in the life of every Christian. It says out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. How important it is to have these rivers of living water issuing out of you! If you read further, the 39th verse explains that Jesus spoke of the Holy Spirit: "But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified" (John 7:39).

Isaiah 55:10-11 also gives some insight into this. It says, "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth...." Just as rain pours down to nourish the earth, so does the Word of God pour out to fulfil God’s purpose. Proverbs 18:4AMPC tells us, "The words of a [discreet and wise] man's mouth are like deep waters [plenteous and difficult to fathom], and the fountain of skillful and godly Wisdom is like a gushing stream [sparkling, fresh, pure, and life-giving]." Notice the underlined portion; it underscores the power and life in words that are inspired by the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 10:44, Luke narrates a remarkable incident that happened while Peter was preaching in the house of Cornelius: "...the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word." The words Peter spoke were empowered by the Holy Spirit, pouring out like a gushing stream, bringing life to all those who heard them.

When you receive the Holy Ghost, you minister the Spirit through your words. Your words are spirit and life, just as Jesus said of His own words (John 6:63). Hallelujah! Jesus’ words opened blind eyes (John 9:6-7), cast out demons (Mark 5:1-20), raised the dead (John 11:43-44), and calmed the raging tempest (Mark 4:39). He spoke to nature, and it obeyed (Matthew 8:26-27). Your words carry the same power. You can speak to your body, command growths to disappear, and declare healing in your heart, lungs, and kidneys. Practice speaking the Word of God over yourself and your circumstances. Let the rivers of living water issue out of you; these are words of life empowered by the Holy Spirit.

TRUE FULFILMENT IS IN CHRIST

📖━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
For in him we live and move and have our being... (Acts 17:28 NIV)
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Man was made in the image of God, and that’s why even the natural man possesses incredible capacity and potentials. Throughout history, we've witnessed remarkable advancements and innovations that have shaped the world. Consider man’s accomplishments through the ages in technology, arts and sciences.

These achievements are undoubtedly impressive, but there’s more to life than these. We know that despite accomplishing amazing feats, many still find themselves grappling with an underlying sense of emptiness; they create things to make life easier, thinking it will bring happiness, yet they find themselves dissatisfied.

For instance, think of a professor who has acquired immense knowledge, yet he struggles with the meaning of “life.” He has no peace or satisfaction despite his intellectual prowess and tragically decides to end his life. How sad! This stark example illustrates that no matter how much knowledge or success one attains, true fulfilment is in Christ and Christ alone.

Even today, many have gotten to a point where they’re asking, “Why are we here?” They’ve accumulated so much on earth, but they are still searching for fulfilment. Or consider those with so much fame who still find themselves asking, “Where’s the joy?” History is replete with stories of wealthy individuals who, despite their riches, felt empty and unfulfilled.

There was a very wealthy man many years ago who came from a wealthy family. Despite all his riches, he said, "I don’t know why I am not happy. Maybe I should try poverty because that is one thing I have never experienced." He gave up everything and decided to live as a hermit in isolation. But even then, he didn’t find joy because true fulfilment in life isn’t found in this world but in Christ.

Christ is the source of all joy, all peace, and all fulfilment. Outside of Him, everything is fleeting and meaningless. In Him, you find the meaning of life, the purpose for which you were created, and the true joy that transcends circumstances. In Christ, you find all of God’s goodness. Hallelujah!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for being my source of true fulfilment, joy and peace. You’re my reason for being; my satisfaction and pure delight come from my relationship with you by the Holy Spirit. WORSHIP—A CALL TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh (Philippians 3:3).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
As referenced in our previous study, true worship is of the spirit; a spirit-to-Spirit fellowship or communion. True worship has nothing to do with how you feel or how melodious a song might sound. And that’s where some have missed it. An entire service or worship segment could go by without some Christians truly responding to God with their spirits. They may sing along and go through the motions of worship, but their minds are distracted, and their spirits aren't engaged.

This disconnect happens because they haven't learned how to discipline their spirits to respond to Him with their spirits. For example, singing to God is more than just singing songs or mouthing words with our lips. It's about engaging your heart and spirit in worship. Similarly, dancing in the flesh will never help. True worship goes beyond external gestures—it involves the inward attitude and posture of our hearts.

Whenever you’re worshipping the Lord, whether on your own or with others in church, the first thing is to quickly withdraw your thoughts from distractions. Actively and immediately engage with your spirit, and focus on the Lord, worshipping Him in spirit and truth, and not controlled by the rhythm of the drums and instruments of music.

The Lord Jesus said, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24). So, consciously direct your heart to offer Him genuine praise, adoration, and thanksgiving from the depths of your heart.

Remember, we’re called to walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 says, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Worshipping the Lord with your spirit should be your natural and habitual way of life. Always remember the call to "walk in the Spirit" whenever you worship the Lord; it removes worship from a superficial exercise. Rather, it becomes, for you, the recognition and appreciation of the goodness, blessings, kindness and righteousness of God. It is the thankful confession of His character, love and grace.

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of worshipping you in spirit and in truth. My worship is a profound expression of my love, gratitude, and reverence for you. My heart is filled with sincere adoration and praise to you for your greatness, your love, faithfulness and grace that endures forever, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

📖 FURTHER STUDY : ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
John 4:22-24 AMPC; You [Samaritans] do not know what you are worshiping [you worship what you do not comprehend]. We do know what we are worshiping [we worship what we have knowledge of and understand], for [after all] salvation comes from [among] the Jews.
[23] A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.
[24] God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

Ephesians 5:18-19; And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
[19] speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

TUESDAY 24

DIVINE WORSHIP
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son (Romans 1:9).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
What a remarkable statement Paul made in the verse above. It's amazing to serve God, not with the flesh, but with your spirit. This is true divine worship, where all you do—your whole life—is a life of worship. That's why God's people everywhere must be taught and trained to respond to Him with their spirits because faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.

In the New Testament, there’re several words translated into English as "worship." One of them is 'latreuo,' which means to serve God as seen in Romans 1:9. Another word that’s more familiar to many is 'proskuneo,' which is often translated as worship and refers to an act of worship.

For example, in Matthew 4 during the temptation of Jesus, when the devil offered Him the kingdoms of the world, Jesus responded, "...Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship (proskuneo) the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" (Matthew 4:10). Here, worship is an act—a physical expression like lifting hands, singing, bowing, or prostrating oneself.

Then there's another one, which is a state of mind, described by the word 'sebomai.' This denotes a religious disposition or mindset, where one might engage in certain religious practices out of tradition or reverence without necessarily knowing or loving God deeply.

This was the case with the woman named Lydia in Thyatira, described in the Bible as one who worshipped God—a term indicating religious reverence rather than an actual relationship. Jesus addressed such practices, saying, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me" (Matthew 15:cool. But she gave heed to Paul’s message and was converted (Acts 16:14).

When hearts are distant from God, worship becomes vain, as it substitutes doctrines of men for true spiritual connection. But true worship, however, involves serving God with your spirit—an intimate, heartfelt communion with Him—aligning your spirit with His in genuine devotion. Hallelujah!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, thank you for revealing to me the essence of true worship. I serve you with my spirit, to live in intimate communion with you every day. My life, resources, thoughts, words and actions are a continual offering of worship, reflecting your glory and purpose. I’m empowered by your Spirit to align my heart with your Word for my worship to be acceptable and pleasing to you as a sweet-smelling fragrance, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

John 4:22-24 NKJV; You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.
[23] But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
[24] God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Philippians 3:3; For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Mark 7:6-8; He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.

THE KINGDOM AND HIS WILL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). .

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
When the Lord Jesus said, "Thy kingdom come...," this was because the world was being dominated by another kingdom at the time. This was before His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension to heaven. It was before the advent of the new creation.

But after His resurrection and the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, which initiated the new creation, we no longer pray, "Thy kingdom come," because Jesus came to fulfil this prayer. We have now received the kingdom through salvation in Christ Jesus: “Therefore, since we have received an unshakeable Kingdom, let us have grace, through which we may offer service that will please God, with reverence and fear” (Hebrews 12:28 CJB).

Also, when He said, "Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven," it indicates that God's will was not being done on earth at that time, but today, the perfection of God's will is through the Church. No wonder Paul tells us, "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God" (Ephesians 3:10).

This means we are tasked with establishing God's will in the earth; we actively carry out His will, implementing and manifesting it in our daily lives and actions. Just like Jesus breathed on His disciples and said, "As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you," He has given us that mandate; it is now your responsibility to enforce and establish His will in the earth and in the lives of men.

This is the reason we’ve remained on earth after we were born again; if the sole purpose of salvation was going to heaven, we would have been taken there immediately upon being born again. However, we are left here to fulfil a purpose. We carry the Kingdom within us. Wherever we go, the Kingdom goes with us.

2 Corinthians 5:20 says, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.” As ambassadors for Christ, we represent our heavenly Kingdom; we’re legal representatives of God's Kingdom. This consciousness empowers you to fulfil your divine mission, manifesting God's will and spreading the message of the Kingdom throughout the world.

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of being an ambassador of the Kingdom and establishing your will in the earth. I spread and manifest the glories, beauties, and excellencies of the Kingdom, proclaiming your truth so those who are yet to receive salvation will be saved and catapulted from darkness into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

FRIDAY 20

PERFECT AND FULL-GROWN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you (Philippians 3:15).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Some people believe that spiritual maturity is only attainable when we get to heaven, and that on earth, we can only keep growing. But that’s not true. God’s Word encourages Christians to strive for maturity and full growth in their spiritual journey. In our opening verse, Paul uses the Greek word "teleos" to describe those who are spiritually mature and full-grown.

The goal is for every Christian to attain this level of spiritual maturity. Ephesians 4:11-12 emphasises this truth as Paul highlights the five-fold ministry offices or gifts within the Church and their distinct purposes. It says, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

The ensuing verse 13 tells us the purpose for all that we read in verses 11-12; it’s for us all to come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, perfect and full-grown: “…until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him” (Ephesians 4:13 AMPC).

This is not in heaven but in the earth! He expects us to grow to the full measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ here on earth. It is about embodying Christ's fullness in every aspect of life, reflecting His glory through your words, actions, and character.

Make this your vision of growth. Make up your mind that this would be your experience. Be determined to walk in this light—to walk in the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Christ in you is the hope of glory, in reality, and in totality. Praise God!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, thank you for the assurance that spiritual maturity is attainable now. Through your Word, I’m being raised by the Spirit to be perfect and full-grown, walking in the fullness of your Spirit. Thank you for the leadership ministry gifts you have established in the Church so that we may be built up, edified, strengthened and nurtured unto maturity, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Hebrews 5:12-14; For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
[13] For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
[14] But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

James 1:4; But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Colossians 1:28; whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 4:11-13; And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
[12] for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13] till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

INTERCESSION IS FOR OTHERS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Intercession involves standing in the gap between two parties or more. It's about pleading a case on behalf of someone else, often without their awareness of their predicament or their need for help. For instance, when you intercede for someone who isn't born again, they may not be conscious of their spiritual state or their need for salvation.

In such cases, you're presenting reasons to God on their behalf. You're bringing their ignorance and lack of understanding about their spiritual standing before the Lord. Consider how God described the Ninevites to Jonah—they didn't know right from wrong. But God sent Jonah to them to preach and get them to repent from their wickedness.

Remarkably, the Ninevites, from the king to the common people, took Jonah's message to heart and repented sincerely, fasting and wearing sackcloth as a sign of mourning and penitence. Their collective repentance moved God. In Jonah 4:11 (NIV), after sparing Nineveh, God explained His compassion to Jonah: "And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?"

Similarly, when we pray for sinners, we're telling God that they don't understand their situation and their need for salvation. We acknowledge that they deserve God’s judgment due to sin, but we plead our case on Jesus' sacrifice for them. We're not persuading God to save them because salvation is already available through Jesus. Instead, we're asking that the Lord will arrange circumstances that will lead them to accept this salvation.

This type of intercession extends beyond the lost to those who, even though are already Christians, may still be ignorant or struggling with their faith. It's about selflessly praying for others; advocating for them in prayer before God, whether they are aware of their need or not.

Dear Father, I pray for those in my world who are yet to receive salvation, that their eyes and hearts be open to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray that you’ll orchestrate circumstances, situations, materials, and people that’ll cause the radiant light of your glorious Gospel to shine brightly in their hearts, dispelling darkness, and ushering them into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

1 Timothy 2:1-4; I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
[2] for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
[3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
[4] who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Romans 8:26-27 NIV; In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
[27] And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Colossians 4:3 NIV: And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

THE “LALIA” OF CHRIST
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word (John 8:43).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Two words used in our opening verse may seem synonymous, but they have striking differences. They’re “speech” (Greek: “Lalia”) and “word” (Greek: “Logos”). “Logos” is the general term for “Word.” The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).

“Logos” encompasses speech, idea, thought, and message; it is the substance of a message. John 1:14 tells us that the Word or “Logos” of God became flesh, and that’s Jesus Christ. All of God's thoughts, ideas, and opinions, are encapsulated in Him.

“Lalia,” on the other hand, describes a mode of speech; it’s the way you say what you say. This can be by gesticulations, semasiological communication, dialects or pronunciations. Jesus said to the pharisees and the Jews as they questioned His words, “Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word” (John 8:43). They didn’t understand His communication (“Lalia”) because they couldn’t comprehend His message (“Logos”).

An example is found in John 11:11-14 when He said to His disciples, “...Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.” A similar thing happened when Jesus went to the house of Jairus, whose little daughter had just died. The Bible says, “And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead” (Luke 8:52-53).

The people didn't understand His “Lalia” because they couldn’t comprehend His message. If only they knew that His message stated who He was: “...I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25). As a child of God, it’s important for you to give attention to the ministry of the Word and the Holy Spirit in the house of God. That’s how you’re cultured, trained, and taught the message of Christ. That message gives you a language—the “Lalia” of Christ.

UNDERSTANDING HELPS YOU APPLY THE WORD CORRECTLY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart (Proverbs 8:5).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
Understanding God's Word is crucial to applying it effectively in our lives. The Bible says, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding" (Proverbs 4:7). The Lord Jesus Himself emphasized the significance of understanding in Matthew 13:3-8 when He told the parable of the sower.

In His illustration, He explained that as the sower went forth to sow his seeds, they fell into different grounds. Some fell by the wayside and the birds of the air came and picked them up, and they had no chance to grow. The Lord Jesus however highlighted the problem of this group of people to be their lack of understanding of the Word they heard: “When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side” (Matthew 13:19).

The practical application of God's Word hinges on your understanding of it. You can't put to work God's Word that you don't understand. Without understanding, it becomes challenging to implement biblical principles and teachings effectively in your daily life.

It’s one of the reasons we encourage people to study this devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, every day. It serves as a powerful tool for enhancing your understanding of God's Word. In it, we present biblical truths in simple and clear communication, making it easier for readers to not only comprehend but also apply God’s truths in practical ways. By breaking down scriptural thoughts into understandable terms, Rhapsody of Realities equips you to live out your faith confidently and purposefully each day.

2 Timothy 2:15 says, "Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth" (AMPC). Prioritize understanding God's Word so that you may confidently and faithfully apply it in your life, knowing that through understanding, you can fully embrace and act upon the truths of Scripture.

Psalm 119:130; The entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.

James 1:22-25; But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
[24] for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
[25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

2 Timothy 2:15; Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

THURSDAY 12

THE MISSION CONTINUES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it (Psalm 68:11).
Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━
With so many English Bible versions available today, it’s easy for many to erroneously believe that the Bible was originally given in English language. However, it was the translators who performed this crucial work, and the Holy Spirit continues to guide them even today to make the Bible and other Christian materials accessible to many more in their native languages.

Think about the fact that the sacred writings of the Scriptures were written in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. But it took dedicated individuals who loved the Lord and desired to spread His message to the entire world to make it available in various languages as we have today.

This mission continues through the work of modernday missionaries and evangelists who travel to distant lands, much like those early translators. They go into remote and often challenging environments to find those who have not yet heard the Gospel, and they bring it to them in the language they best understand. The Lord Jesus instructed us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). He sent us to find the lost, to seek them out in the byways and highways.

This directive is clear in the Scriptures, and it drives the mission of Christians today. We carry on the vision that He gave us. This vision is about actively reaching out to those who need to hear the message of salvation, and this involves going beyond our comfort zones, reaching out to speakers of all languages, thus ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

The work is far from over, and the vision of reaching every person with the Gospel remains as vital as ever. That’s why we’re grateful to the Lord to have those who are working with us in various nations to make it possible for this devotional to become accessible in all known languages and dialects of the world, and as a result, reaching the ends of the earth before the Lord’s return.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” You too can be a part of this end-time global workforce by visiting HERE

Mark 16:15; And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Romans 10:14-15; How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
