RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL YOU LIVE IN THE KINGDOM NOW Friday, January 19th. Pastor Chris For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20 NKJV). Did you know that you’re a heavenly citizen? Your life is from heaven. You’re not of this world. You’re in God’s Kingdom now! Therefore, don’t transact your affairs, don’t live as though you’re of this world or living in the world: “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances” (Colossians 2:20). Your actions and reactions, your thoughts, words and responses shouldn’t be like those of the people of the world. You’re different. You live on God’s terms; you live by His Word. You live by faith, because that’s the lifestyle in our spiritual Kingdom. Jesus said in John 15:19, “...I have chosen you out of the world....” No wonder the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, cautioned, “Why are you still living as though you’re in the world, when actually you live in Christ, in the Spirit?” Then, in Galatians 5:25, He tells us to walk in the Spirit, because we live in the Spirit. Now that you’re born again, you live in two worlds: the physical world and the spiritual world. But you have to be more conscious of the spiritual world because life is spiritual. Colossians 3:1-2 says, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Live the life of heaven—on earth! Let your outlook on life be from the Kingdom’s perspective. When you understand this, you’ll never be perturbed by the troubles and crises in the world; you’ll live above them. This is because in the Kingdom we only win and grow from glory to glory. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL HE HAS RECONCILED US TO HIMSELF Thursday, January 18th . Pastor Chris To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconcilation (2 Corinthians 5:19). Jesus came to reconcile the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses against them. It reminds of what the Bible says in Colossians 1:21-22, “And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight” (NKJV). Christ Jesus initiated and established peace between God and man through His death on the cross. Man had become alienated from the life of God through Adam’s disobedience, but Jesus reconciled us with the Father in the body of His flesh through death, to present us holy, blameless and above reproach before the Father. Now, who is Jesus, and why was He able to achieve this for man? Was He just a good man? No; otherwise, He wouldn’t have qualified to die for us because the Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The blood of the ordinary man wouldn’t qualify for our redemption. But the blood of Jesus was divine, being God in the flesh. He was sinless. The Bible says, “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses” (Acts 13:38-39). Notice that the Scriptures didn’t say “shall be justified”; it’s not a promise. All who believe are justified. The resurrection of Jesus Christ by which you were recreated with a new life of righteousness qualified you to live the presence of God without guilt or condemnation; you’re free from all accusations, being justified by His grace. This is the Gospel! The reason you’re holy, blameless and justified before the Father isn’t because of what you did or didn’t do; it’s the result of what Jesus did and who He is. Now you have received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the resurrection of Jesus Christ by which I’ve been justified by faith. Now, I’m holy, blameless and above reproach in your sight. Thank you for this amazing blessing, love and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) WE GROW BUT WE DON’T AGE Wednesday, January 17th . Pastor Chris And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you (Romans 8:11 AMPC). Some people believe the human body is meant to be active and vibrant for only a few years before it starts getting weak. So they ask, “Just how far can the body go?” Well, the Bible shows us the body can go very far. Adam lived for 930 years before he died. He didn’t die because the body couldn’t take it anymore; he died because of sin. God had said to him, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17). He ate of it and died. Many others lived for several hundreds of years. Some even lived older than Adam until the sin in the world got so much and God said, “...My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years” (Genesis 6:3). Notice that God didn’t say less than 120 years. Some people however quote Psalm 90 and say God reduced the number of years of man’s life from 120 to 70. But that’s incorrect. That particular Psalm wasn’t written by David; it was a lamentation written by Moses. It says, “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years...” (Psalm 90:10). Moses wasn’t stating something from God; he saw the children of Israel passing away at a young age and he lamented. Think about it: how long did Moses himself live? “Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished” (Deuteronomy 34:7 NKJV). If Moses could have had such an amazing testimony, you have something better. In Christ, you’ve been brought into agelessness. When you were born again, you received the same eternal life as Jesus. Eternal life is the life with agelessness. When you received it, you were brought into God’s realm of eternity, into an ageless zone. In Christ, we grow without ageing; we have an endless, incorruptible, and indestructible life. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for I’m no longer bound by the limitations of ageing and decay. I have passed from death to life; from age into agelessness. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I’m strengthened, vitalized, and energized by Him now and always. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) THERE’S A CROWN WAITING Tuesday, January 16th . Pastor Chris Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown (Revelation 3:11). What a strong admonition from the Lord! He counselled the church in Philadelphia to hold fast to what they had. These weren’t earthly things but spiritual things. He told them to hold fast to them because of the possibility of losing them. The way to hold fast to what God has given to you is to put it to work; keep using it. Imagine a Christian who was always winning souls and bringing them to church. But one day, something offended him and he stopped winning souls. If only he knew that there was a crown of righteousness waiting for him; but now, someone else was going to get it. If it weren’t possible for someone else to get it, God wouldn’t have said so. Read our opening verse again: “...hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” Seeing someone else do what God told you to do is one of life’s deepest pains. Think about Saul for example; when God called Saul to be king of Israel, He promised him an eternal dynasty. Saul however lost it, and David got it (1 Samuel 13:13-14). Whatever assignment is given to you to carry out in the house of God, hallow it. Do it joyfully and do it as unto Christ. Handle it with great care, because at the end of the day, the Bible says we’ll all give account to God for all that we did. Also, there’s crown waiting and it’s a crown of righteousness for all who obeyed Him and fulfilled their assignment. PRAYER Dear Father, I recognize the spiritual treasures you have entrusted to me and I hold fast to them diligently. I thank you for the grace you’ve given me to complete every assignment. I refuse to be swayed by offence or distractions, but I remain resolute, steadfast, always abounding in the work of the Lord, committed to fulfilling your purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL HE ABOLISHED DEATH Monday, January 15th. Pastor Chris But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). When I came across this verse years ago, for a second I thought I didn’t see it. “Did Paul actually say Jesus Christ abolished death?” I wondered. I studied the verse in-depth, looking in the original Greek and dissecting every word used. I found out after my study that the verse meant exactly what it said: Jesus Christ abolished death. Some people try to reason it out and say Paul was referring to spiritual death. A thousand times, no! Observe from our opening verse that Jesus not only abolished death, He brought life and immortality to light. If the death was spiritual death, what about immortality? Could the Bible have meant spiritual immortality? That expression makes no sense; in fact, it’s a contradiction. Thus, the reason Paul made reference to immortality is because he was talking about physical death. Some people however get troubled by what the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:26: “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” So they say, “We still have death to deal with; it’s the last enemy to be destroyed.” No, that’s not what the Scripture is saying and I’ll explain. It’s like when the Bible says in the book of Revelation, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God...” (Revelation 12:10). The fact that the voice said “Now is come salvation” didn’t mean everyone in the world was receiving salvation for the first time. People had been saved before then. So, when the Bible says death is the last enemy to be destroyed, it’s talking about death as a spirit that would be cast into the lake of fire: “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death” (Revelation 20:14). That’s when death will be destroyed. But already, it has been overcome; the law of death has been abrogated. The Master didn’t come from heaven for nothing. He didn’t die for nothing. He came to abolish death and He achieved it! Blessed be God! The clock is fast ticking and the windows of opportunity for preaching the Gospel are fast shutting down! The time is now. FURTHER STUDY: || 1 Corinthians 15:51-57 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where [is] thy sting? RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) THE SECOND COMING IS NOT FOR THE SAINTS Sunday, January 14th . Pastor Chris ...when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:7- .The distinction between the Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ, for most people, has been a source of confusion. Nevertheless, the Scriptures unambiguously delineate these two distinct events. First, the Second Coming of Christ is not intended for Christians. The Rapture of the Church is meant for Christians, and it will occur before the Second Coming. In the Second Coming of Christ, we will come together with Him, but it’s primarily a time of judgment. It’s called the day of His wrath, the day of His judgment (2 Thessalonians 1:7- . This judgment takes place before He establishes the 1,000 years of peace. In Matthew 24:29, where Jesus Himself speaks about this, He said, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days....” This indicates that the Second Coming of Christ will occur after the Great Tribulation. Matthew 24:30 says, “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” They will mourn because they weren’t expecting Him, they didn’t believe in Him. But notice what it says in the 10th verse; this judgment will take place “When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day” (2 Thessalonians 1:10). Observe that it doesn’t say when He shall come to be glorified “by” His saints, but “in” His saints. The significance here is that He will be glorified in us, and those who see us will admire Him in us. They’d wonder at His glory in us. This aligns with what John said in 1 John 3:2, “...when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” When He comes, we come with Him, looking like Him; they’ll see His glory in us, and they’ll wonder at it. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, by your Spirit and your Word, I’m prepared for the Rapture of the Church, living my life for the Lord, every day. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST)* *A PRACTISE FOR US* Saturday, January 13th . Pastor Chris _*No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath DECLARED him (John 1:18).*_ The word declared in our opening verse is from the Greek “exegeomai” and it means to rehearse or unfold. So, what that verse is saying is that Jesus rehearsed divinity to us. How He lived, and the things He did, as recorded in the Scriptures, was a practice for us to see and know how to live the life of the Kingdom. No wonder the Bible says He has given us an example that we should follow His steps: _*“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps”*_ (1 Peter 2:21). Jesus rehearsed the God-life to us. He rehearsed righteousness to us. He came to live before us so we could know what God is like. John 1:14 says, _*“And the Word was made*_ (became) _*flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”*_ He said in John 14:9, _*“...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father....”*_ Amazing words! God wants you to have the same consciousness. He wants you to think and talk like Jesus. How much of the person and character of Jesus is expressed in and through you? Ephesians 5:1-2 says, _*“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”*_ The word “followers” is from the Greek “mimetes,” meaning to be an imitator, to copy another. The only reason we can imitate God is because we’ve seen Him in Jesus Christ. Jesus came to unveil Him. For example, we often talk about how God loves us, but we couldn’t describe that love until we saw Jesus in action. Now we can walk in love, as Christ also loved us. Christ showed us how to practice God’s love. Hallelujah! *CONFESSION* *I walk in love and righteousness and display the character of Christ to my world. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL DOMINION OVER DARKNESS Friday, January 12th. Pastor Chris Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13). There’s no specific calling, office or a unique gift among Christians that’s exclusively for casting out demons. Nowhere in the Bible is such a gift mentioned. Rather, what the Bible says is that every Christian, without exception, has the authority and ability to cast out demons. This truth is firmly established in the words of Jesus: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils...” (Mark 16:17). I want you to carefully observe what the Master said: “These signs shall follow them that believe,” not “them with special gifts or ability,” but those who believe in Him. That includes you. Our dominion and superiority over Satan is simply because of who we are in Christ and the power of attorney He’s given to us to use His Name. So, the idea of needing someone to pray a “powerful prayer” for you to cast the devil out is unnecessary. What you simply need is the recognition of the power in the Name of Jesus and use it to subdue demons. In Colossians 1:13, the Apostle Paul reminds us of a fundamental reality: we’re not under the jurisdiction of Satan. This truth should be evident in your life; live free from the encumbrances of the enemy. Your life can be as glorious as you desire it to be; you have the authority to make it happen. There’s no need to implore God to deal with the devil for you, because He has already executed the full victory over the enemy long before you came on the scene. Almost two thousand years ago, Jesus decisively dealt with the devil. The Bible says, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15). And guess what? When Jesus defeated them, you were in Him. In Christ, you defeated Satan and the principalities of darkness. It’s the reason you’re superior to them and can reign and rule over them. Hallelujah! DO MORE by BLESSING MORE lives. The statement above came right out of the lips of the Master as part of His response to Philip, one of His disciples who asked Him to show them the Father. Jesus minced no words; He said, “if you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father.” In other words, “I’m the profile of the Father.” The Bible tells us that Jesus is the image (icon) of the invisible God (2 Corinthians 4:4, Colossians 1:15). That means He’s the resemblance and visual representation of God, the profile of God. If you want to know what God looks like, Jesus is the profile; He has all the characteristics, descriptions and attributes of Deity. This is akin to what we find in Hebrews 1:3 that says Jesus is the brightness of God’s glory and the “express image” of His person. Here, “charakter” (Greek) is used for express image; and it means the facsimile or print copy. Jesus is the facsimile or print copy of God. This is amazing! The Bible says in Jesus dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). It pleased the Father that Him (Jesus) should all fullness dwell (Colossians 1:19). No wonder He said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.” When you see Jesus, you won’t need to look for the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the perfect appearance and replica of the Godhead. He’s the expression of God’s glory, honour and majesty. Blessed be His Name forever! PRAYER Dear Father, I’m in awe of your glory, honour and majesty as revealed in Jesus Christ—the “print copy” of your divine essence—the clear and unmistakable representation of your character and nature. Lord Jesus, you’re the beauty of divinity and the perfect expression of the Father’s person. I worship and adore you forever. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES Wednesday 10 January 2024. Rev. Chris Oyakhilome OVERTURN THEIR DARKNESS But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Notice what we just read: Satan, the god of this world, blinded the minds of those who don’t believe the Gospel; for what purpose? So that the light of the “glorious Gospel” of Christ should not shine unto them. But he’s been defeated. Glory to God! Through the power of the Name of Jesus, we’re able to break Satan’s hold and influence over people’s lives and cause the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ to shine unto them. We overturn their blindness. Hallelujah! The Bible says in Acts 26:16-18, “…for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness…Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God....” What a ministry; what a calling! We’re sent “… To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God....” Satan blinded them, but your purpose is to overturn their darkness. You have the power to open their eyes through the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe (Romans 1:16). When you share the Gospel with those who haven’t known the Lord, their eyes are opened. That's why you’re in that city; that's why you’re in that town; that's why you’re in that country—to preach the Gospel and turn men from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation that through the Name of Jesus, we have the authority and ability to overturn the darkness that blinds the minds of those who do not believe. Today, as the Gospel is preached around the world, many are turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Pastor Chris But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). In the scriptures, especially reading through the Gospels, you’d find many instances where the Lord Jesus taught on the Kingdom of God. He did this because He wanted His disciples to understand how to live and be responsible in the Kingdom. When you come into Christ, there are things the Lord will do for you as clearly spelt out in His Word which, actually, have already been done. But you also owe Him a responsibility to live for Him as He has said. You’re living here on earth, not for yourself, but for God’s purpose. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” To live for Him means you have to do things His way, not your way; you make His priorities your priorities. Your life is about the expansion and establishment of His Kingdom in all the earth and in the hearts of men. That’s why you have to study God’s Word—the Scriptures—to understand life in the Kingdom. God’s Word is the document that details and helps you understand your Kingdom rights, blessings, privileges and responsibilities. It gives you prophecy, history, instructions and information on the Kingdom. It’s designed and inspired by God to train you in the things concerning the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, I wholeheartedly fulfil my obligation in the Kingdom; I’m set on the right path to fulfil and live toward you, walking in preordained pathways, to the glory and praise of your Name. Amen. Pastor Chris ...for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee (Acts 26:16). The Greek word translated minister above is “huperetes” and it means an official, an executive assistant. That’s what the Lord said to Paul, “to make you my assistant, my official executive assistant.” What an honour. The Bible says we’re His witnesses; He’s made us able ministers of the New Testament (2 Corinthians 3:6), ministers of reconciliation. Hallelujah! 2 Corinthians 5:18 says, “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” You have a message; you have a purpose. Your job is so important: it’s to help men and women discover Jesus, bringing them out of darkness, sin and death into righteousness and eternal life. What a ministry! You’re His representative; therefore, you have to be bold with the message that He’s committed to you. You have to preach it confidently and with power. Think about the officials in your country who represent the government; imagine how bold and how confident they work, walk, and talk—because they’re conscious that their government is behind them. You represent the government of Heaven; therefore, you’re backed by divine authority. The Lord said in Matthew 28:18, “...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Then on the basis of that authority, He said to us in the very next verse, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...” (Matthew 28:19). There’s no higher mandate than the one given to us by Jesus Christ to take the Gospel to every man’s world. He has commanded us to go and speak and act in His Name. We’re His ambassadors, to make students of the nations, to show them how to live. Be an effective witness in your world. Have a burning passion to make the Gospel known, and get everyone in your world ready for the Master’s soon return. You might be the last or only hope they have to hear and receive the Gospel. Take advantage of every opportunity today to win souls for Christ! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for making me an effective witness of the Gospel. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THE RESURRECTION IS THE KEY Thursday, January 4th . Pastor Chris But what saith it?...That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:8-9). Christianity begins with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, not the death. This doesn’t mean the death of Jesus Christ is not important, for there would be no resurrection if there were no death. If you believe in the resurrection, you definitely believe in the death, but the key is in believing in the resurrection. That’s what gave us a new life. In Acts 13:33, the Bible says, “God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.” This isn’t referring to His birth in Bethlehem but the rebirth at the resurrection. Jesus was the first begotten of the dead, which means the first to be born out of spiritual death. On the cross, He died two deaths. He died spiritually first when our sins were laid on Him and He was cut off, separated from the Father. He cried out on the cross “My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me” (Mark 15:34). When that happened, it became possible for Jesus to die physically. When He died, He went to hell in the spirit, because that’s where we all should have gone; He went to hell in our place. But He was a righteous man, bearing the sins of others. The Bible shows us how in hell, Satan and all the demons of darkness grappled with Jesus in order to subdue Him. But He threw off from Himself principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). Jesus publicly defeated Satan and the demons of darkness and came out of death and hell in victory. When He arose, the Bible says He was justified; the resurrection was the sign. That rebirth at the resurrection meant that there was no sin, there was no condemnation, the debt of sin was paid by His death, but His resurrection of a new life brought us justification (Romans 4:25). That’s why today, anyone who believes that Jesus died for their sins and was raised back to life for their justification comes into a newness of life and becomes a new creature: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4). PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the glorious resurrection of Christ that brought us the justification of eternal life. I acknowledge the glorious victory He achieved over Satan and the forces of darkness, triumphing over death and hell in my behalf. Now I’m raised together with Him in the place of victory, authority and dominion forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST)* *HE REHEARSED DIVINITY TO US* Saturday, December 30th . Pastor Chris _*No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him (John 1:18).*_ The word “declared” in our opening verse originates from the Greek term “exegeomai,” signifying not just a mere declaration but the act of rehearsing or unfolding something. In essence, Jesus rehearsed divinity to us. He came to reveal God in a way we could relate with and understand. The life of Jesus was a living testament, a vivid portrayal of the Kingdom’s principles and the divine way of living. This profound truth is why the Bible instructs us to follow in His footsteps, for He’s given us an example to emulate. 1 Peter 2:21 underscores this beautifully: _*“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.”*_ Jesus came to show us the Father’s love, character and will. He said in John 14:9, _*“...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father...”;*_ a claim only the One who was God in the flesh could make. Ephesians 5:1-2 says, _*“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us....”*_ The term “followers” translates from the Greek word “mimetes,” denoting not merely followers but imitators, those who copy another. We’re called to be imitators of God, but how can we imitate God when we haven’t seen Him? Jesus made it possible! He came to reveal God’s nature and His love for us. God loves us; we know because we see from the Scriptures how Jesus was moved by love and compassion. Jesus in action was God at work. Now we can manifest the Father’s love, His righteousness, mercy, compassion and grace because that’s what Jesus did when He walked the earth. We have the life of Christ in us, and His love is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). The Apostle Paul tells us, _*“And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma”*_ (Ephesians 5:2 NKJV). *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for revealing your nature and your love to us through the Lord Jesus. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM FOR REVELATION Thursday, December 28th . Pastor Chris That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18). The underlined portion in our opening scripture above seems to suggest that the Apostle Paul was referring to two different things: the spirit of wisdom and the spirit of revelation, but no! He’s dealing with one and the same thing: the Spirit of wisdom bringing you revelation—the unveiling of mysteries—“apocalupsis” (Greek). The Spirit of wisdom refers to the operations of the Spirit of God in wisdom, the Spirit of God manifesting Himself in wisdom. The use of the word “and” in that expression needs to be properly understood. In the Greek rendering, the word translated “and” is also translated “in”, “with”, or “for.” Therefore, a better rendering of that expression is “...the spirit of wisdom in revelation” or “the spirit of wisdom for revelation” in the exact knowledge of God. In the Amplified Classic version, it says, “[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him]” (Ephesians 1:17). This is the ministry of the Spirit of wisdom in your life: He brings you revelation—insight into mysteries and secrets. Secondly, He brings you light (photizo—Greek); He floods your path with light. He illuminates your mind with extraordinary sagacity and amplitude of comprehension. Thirdly, He brings you counsel and direction such that life ceases to be mysterious to you. Always acknowledge that you’re filled with the Spirit of God in wisdom and spiritual understanding; therefore you know and can discern His will. Every so often, declare, “I have insight into mysteries and secrets; I function at the highest level of excellence and in the perfect will of God, because I’m filled with the Spirit of wisdom for revelation in the deep and intimate knowledge of Christ." RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) JESUS—GOD’S WORD MANIFEST IN FLESH Tuesday, December 26th . Pastor Chris He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not (John 1:10). John 1:14 says, “And the Word became flesh...” (NKJV). In essence, the Word changed form and became manifest in the flesh, and that’s Jesus! Where was Jesus before He was born in Bethlehem? He was in God as God’s Word. For example, your words right now are in you until you speak them forth. Words are thoughts clothed with vocabulary. When you speak, you speak your thoughts. Your thoughts are clothed with language so someone else can understand. So, your thoughts reside within you until you express them in words. When you’re thinking about something, nobody else can discern your thoughts; they remain concealed within your heart. However, when you speak, your words become tangible and can be captured in time. This is why we can record your voice and replay it later. Five years down the line, someone can hear what you said, but it was hidden in your heart until you uttered it. Imagine if your words, once captured in time, could step out of a computer or a recorder and materialize as the very things you said. This is precisely what God did through Jesus Christ. Jesus became the embodiment of God’s will, a revelation of His divine purpose and the manifestation of His boundless love. If you wanted to understand what God is like, you only needed to look at Jesus. He declared, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). And He consistently performed the works and spoke the words that emanated from the Father. In essence, Jesus was the living expression of God’s Word. It’s quite common for people to be puzzled by certain aspects of Jesus’ life, such as when God spoke from heaven during His baptism. So, they say, “If Jesus was the manifestation of God, how come, when He was being baptized, God spoke from heaven?” God’s nature and capabilities are far beyond our understanding. We can draw a parallel from modern technology: when I preach from a particular location, anywhere in the world, my voice is heard in every known country and territory on earth and in multiple languages. If that is possible in this world, then think about what God can do! His ability to speak from heaven while Jesus was on earth transcends human limitations. PRAYER Lord Jesus, you’re the God of heaven and earth; you pre-existed creation, and by you, all things exist and consist. I honour you, for you’re the embodiment of wisdom, grace and truth; the only true God! Thank you for giving me a life of victory, success, prosperity and divine health. I love you forever. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL COMMUNICATE HIS LOVE Sunday, December 17th . Pastor Chris Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers (Ephesians 4:29). As Christians, we have the Spirit of Christ. We’re the light of the world. We’re to think, love, talk, and conduct all our affairs in life like Him. Colossians 3:17 admonishes us to allow every detail in our lives—our words and actions—to align with the character of Christ: “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus....” In other words, the character and presence of Jesus ought to radiate through you in your every day walk. Like Him, let your words be gracious and graceful. Practice the love of Jesus through your words. People remember you more for the things you said to them and how you made them feel through your words. So, make up your mind that your words will communicate the presence and love of Jesus. Let the world see Jesus in you. Let them feel His love in the words you speak. In the same way that the Lord Jesus was confident to say, “...If you have seen me, you have seen the Father...” (John 14:9 CEV); your testimony ought to be, “If you have seen me, you have seen Jesus.” Let Him be who they see and hear when they listen to you. Never use terrible, abusive and insulting words even if you’re angry. Never be happy that your words made someone else sad. That’s inconsistent with your nature of love. Be like Jesus: the Bible says, “...And the common people heard him gladly” (Mark 12:37). When people hear you, they should be glad because of your gracious and graceful words of life to them that stir the love for Christ in their hearts. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for your wisdom that’s in my heart and in my words, and your love that’s seen and heard in me today. Through my words, lives are transformed and improved; those you’ve placed in my path are blessed, encouraged, and edified by my gracious and graceful words, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES 📅 SAT. 16TH DECEMBER 2023 SPEAK THE TRUTH ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ (Ephesians 4:14-15). Pastor Chris Says ━━━━━━━━━━ Proverbs 19:9 says, "...he that speaketh lies shall perish." A Christian shouldn't tell lies. Colossians 3:9 says, "Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds." Telling lies is inconsistent with your nature as a new creation in Christ. You're a man or woman of truth, because you're the offspring of Truth: "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth..." (James 1:18). Lying is one of the cardinal attributes of Satan. In John. 8:44, the Lord Jesus aptly described Satan when He said, "...He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." The Word of God is truth (John 17:17). And the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13). Now, a liar isn't merely someone who told a lie but one who loves and makes a lie; he constructs lies (Revelation 22:15); he plans or strategizes his lies. He knows what he is doing is wrong but still goes ahead to do it for selfish reasons. A liar is also one who speaks contrary to God's Word. As long as a man's confessions are inconsistent with God's Word, they're lies. 1 Peter 3:10 reveals something instructive; it says, "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." To speak guile is to speak in antithesis to the Word. The Bible says, "... put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness" (Ephesians 4:24). Now that you're in Christ, you've put on the new man; you have the God-nature. Act accordingly. Speak the truth always. 🙏 P R A Y E R ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who leads and guides me to walk in truth. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS WEDNESDAY,DECEMBER 13TH 2023 PEACE—THE WORK OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 📖Let your light so shine before men , that they may see your good works , and glorify your Father which is in heaven( Matthew 5:16) Isaiah 32:17 says, “And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever. “ We’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus ( 2 Corinthians 5:21). So, when the Bible talks about the work of righteousness being peace, it’s telling you what you must produce as a result of your nature: your work is to establish peace. The word “peace “ is from the Hebrew "shâlôm” and it refers to the totality of the human welfare— health, prosperity, etc. So, your work is to produce health, prosperity and peace. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus in John 9:5 He said , “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” He didn’t say those things just to distinguish Himself alone; He said it so we would know to speak accordingly. You’re the bearer of His peace . Places where there had been war, bloodshed, hostilities, and wanton destruction of lives and properties can have peace when you show up; darkness is dispelled and the righteousness of God is established. Hallelujah! Our God is the God of peace. Therefore, peace in the nations is His will . The Lord Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you ….” How the world needs this today—the peace that only Jesus gives. We’re the ones to help others and the nations experience this extraordinary life of peace through prayer, the preaching of the Gospel, and our works of righteousness. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For Kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. “ That’s it! Peace with extraordinary grace for prosperity, excellence, preservation and rest will mantle the nations and hearts of men as we pray for all men, as we carry out the works of righteousness. So it makes no difference the turmoil, distress and troubles in today’s world; decree peace, health and prosperity for your city and nation. PRAYER Dear Father, I’m the expression of your will and nature of righteousness, and I enforce your peace, health, and prosperity wherever I go. I decree peace over my city and nation, in Jesus’Name. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) REIGNING BY HIM Sunday, December 10th . Pastor Chris For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). Many think that the verse above refers to us reigning with Jesus Christ the sweet-by-and-by; no! It’s talking about us reigning—“kinging”—in the earth NOW by Jesus Christ. At the millennial reign, we will reign with Him; but today, we reign by Him or through Him. There’s a great difference between the two. What Paul captures for us in Romans 5:17 is different from Revelation 20:6 which says, “...they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Notice that here, it says, “and shall reign with him...” The word “with” is translated from the Greek, “meta” which denotes to do something together with another or alongside. That’s the one that’s coming in the future. So, now, we’re not reigning with Christ. In Romans 5:17 the Greek word ‘Dia’ is used, which means ‘by’ or ‘through.’ Thus, we’re reigning by or through Jesus NOW; we’re reigning in His Name. Hallelujah! We’re called to exercise dominion and to live as masters and victors in life through Jesus Christ. We reign over Satan, darkness, the world and all creation. The actual Greek rendering of the word “reign” means “to king.” You’re supposed be “kinging” in life. The Amplified Classic translation says we “...reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)” (Romans 5:17 AMPC). As we take up the responsibility of prayer, using the Name of Jesus and operating in His stead, we enforce the Father’s will in the earth and establish His righteousness in the nations of the world! PRAYER In the Name of the Lord Jesus, I exercise dominion over circumstances and the spirits of darkness, for they’re subject unto me. 📅 THURS. 7TH DECEMBER 2023 HE SEES THE HEART ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15). Pastor Chris Says ━━━━━━━━━━ Often times, we've witnessed certain people being promoted, honoured, esteemed, and respected by men. However, while men may promote and esteem from the outside, it is God who truly knows the heart. Luke 16:15 tells us that what is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. Consider the case of Haman in the Bible, a wicked and malevolent fellow. Haman served as an advisor to King Ahasuerus in the Persian Empire and was greatly respected and promoted to the highest-ranking office in the government. Yet, his heart was filled with hatred and evil intentions. Haman's wickedness was evident in his intense hatred for Mordecai, a Jewish man who refused to bow down to him. He even plotted to exterminate all the Jews and spearheaded a decree to annihilate them. But through the heartfelt prayers of the Jews, the Lord foiled his evil plans, and in the end, Haman faced the consequences of his wickedness. Jeremiah 17:10 reminds us that God searches the heart and examines the mind, getting to the root of things. He sees men as they truly are, not as they pretend to be. Similarly, 1 Samuel 16:7 tells us that God looks beyond outward appearances and sees the heart. So, as you journey through life, be mindful of your heart and intentions. Don't deceive yourself, thinking that you can deceive others, for the Bible says God cannot be mocked. Let your heart be filled with His righteousness, love, and compassion, for that's what matters most to God. 🙏 P R A Y E R Dear Father, I thank you for guiding me to walk in faith, hope, love, and humility. Thank you for sanctifying my heart to serve you passionately, pleasing you in all things, as I walk in your perfect will, in Jesus' Name. Proverbs 16:2; All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; But the LORD weigheth the spirits. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES Thursday 30th November 2023 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome THE SWORD IS IN YOUR MOUTH Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand (Psalm 149:5-6). Psalm 149:5 exhorts the saints to be joyful in glory and sing aloud upon their beds. The ensuing verse 6 says, "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand." This is a prophecy from the Old Testament, and you have to understand that the revelation of the New Testament Church was hidden from the prophets of the Old Testament. Thus, when the passage speaks of "a two-edged sword in their hand," it reflects their viewpoint based on their perception of the Kingdom. However, a fascinating shift takes place in the New Testament: the two-edged sword isn't in the hand; rather, it’s in our mouths. Talking about Jesus, the Apostle John writes, “And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength” (Revelation 1:15-16). Notice it says this two-edged sword protruded from his mouth and not his hand. We don't fight with a sword in our hand; the sword is in our mouth. Again, in Revelation 19:15, the Bible says, “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations….” That is remarkable. In the 21st verse, it says, “And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh” (Revelation 19:21). This sword is the prophetic Word of God in your mouth. That’s our weapon of war today in the Kingdom. Jeremiah 51:20 says, “Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms.” With the Word on our lips, we cut the enemy asunder. We paralyze all the works of the devil everywhere. Blessed be God! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of your Word and the blessings of the New Testament. With the sword in my mouth, I speak forth righteousness into the nations. I declare that the effort of those who secretly or openly sponsor or promote violence and hostility against the Church is fruitless. Glory to God! RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) FAITH IS OF THE HEART Wednesday, November 29th . Pastor Chris We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13). There’re those who complain, “I thought this faith thing works! I believe in the Word for my health, why isn’t it working?” For such people, it could be that they’ve only mentally assented to the Word; that’s not what works. True faith is of the heart. The Apostle Paul in (Romans 1:16) tells us that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God that works; in other words, it brings or causes salvation for everyone who believes. The one who doesn’t believe it can’t have the benefit of it, and believing is of the heart and not the head (Romans 10:8-10). It’s your spirit that makes contact with God. Faith is not a response of the brain or the mind; it’s not some kind of magic or a formula, no! Faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. In Luke 6:6-10, for example, when Jesus encountered a man with a withered arm while teaching in a synagogue, He instructed the man to stretch out his hand, which he did, and his hand was restored. There’s no way the man would have received a miracle if he had tried to rationalize the Master’s instruction in his head. But he responded with his spirit to the Word! The man heard Jesus in his spirit and acted from his spirit. It reminds of a similar account in Mark 2 when the Lord Jesus healed a man sick of the palsy. He said to the man, “...Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house” (Mark 2:11). The hitherto paralyzed man stood up and walked away, offering praises to God. The man couldn’t have risen unless he responded from his spirit. You see, his spirit wasn’t crippled, as the ailment or infirmity resided in his body. So, how could a man with that condition have risen? The answer is simple: When he heard the words of the Master, he acted from his spirit, and it produced results. Once you can believe the Word with your heart and voice it from your mouth, it’ll produce results. Hallelujah! CONFESSION I respond to the Word from my spirit. I’m convinced by the Word that I’m a victor and a success in Christ Jesus. I walk in health, prosperity and victory; I’m what God says I am; I have what He says I have, and I can do what He says I can do. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: || Romans 10:8-10 But what saith it? RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SUBSCRIBE=> https:///3vUBdST) YOUR CONFESSIONS RULE YOU Tuesday, November 28th . Pastor Chris Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21). As a Christian, never speak death. Speak life only. Your words rule your life; they control your future. Who you are today, what you’ve become, is the result of your words. That’s the reason you must train yourself to talk right. Proverbs 6:1-2 says, “My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger, Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” Those who have found themselves in certain precarious situations are snared, taken captive, or bound by their words. Our affirmations rule our lives; they affect us. So, when it comes to words, never say anything that’s inconsistent with the Word of God about your life. For example, never jokingly say something that is against your body or your life, because you’re going to have what you say (Mark 11:23). If you speak death, you’re going to have death! On the other hand, if you speak health, prosperity, strength, courage and life, that’s what you’ll have! The same way you can build your life with your words, you can destroy your works with your own mouth. The Bible says, “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Proverbs 18:20-21). When it says, “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth,” it’s referring to words! Notice also it says, “And with the increase of his lips shall he be filled..."; that’s referring to the words of wisdom pouring out of your mouth. Speak life to your finances, your home, your children, your business or job; speak righteousness to your nation and peace within its borders. Always remember that your words are infused with divine energy to create new and glorious realities, transform circumstances, and change situations to conform to God’s provisions, plans, and purpose for you in Christ. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for showing me the way to a life of continuous victory through my faith-filled confessions in accordance with your Word! I’ll never be discouraged nor subject to the crippling principles of this world, because the Word of God on my lips is God talking. I reign triumphantly over all the negativities of life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES 📅 SAT. 25TH NOVEMBER 2023 PRAYING TO EFFECT CHANGES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ... The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working] (James 5:16 AMPC). Pastor Chris Says ━━━━━━━━━━ Our opening verse is quite instructive. It says the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working. Who is a righteous man? That's you! 2 Corinthians 5:21 tells us that God has made you righteous. In the mind of God, you are as righteous as Jesus is righteous because the righteousness that you have is the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Blessed be God! In the 17th verse of James chapter 5, Elijah is cited as an example of a righteous man whose prayer was effective: "Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months." Elijah prayed that way because of the sins of the nation. The nation had regressed and turned to the worship of Baal. So, he prayed for a change and one of the things he wanted was for there to be no rain for three and half years, to get the people's attention. When the people repented, the Bible says Elijah prayed again, and the heavens gave rain. We can make remarkable changes through prayer that even heaven will respond. Elijah's prayer was deeply heartfelt and continued; he displayed unyielding persistence. That's how you pray when you're set to effect changes. You don't give up; you don't give in. You persist until there's a change. 🙏 P R A Y E R ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Dear Father, thank you for the privilege to pray and side with you to enforce your will in the earth and in the lives of men. Through my heartfelt, continued prayer, I make tremendous power available for peace, tranquillity, advancement, abundance, and prosperity for the nations of the world, that they may experience your goodness, in Jesus' Name. Amen. 📖 FURTHER STUDY: ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Luke 18:1; And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Ephesians 6: 18 AMPC; Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL BEYOND ASSUMPTIONS Wednesday, November 22nd . Pastor Chris And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may KNOW him that is true... (1 John 5:20). The Greek word translated “know” above is “Ginosko.” It’s a kind of knowledge gained by revelation or impartation. For example, being born again, we have the witness in our spirits that we’re the children of God (Romans 8:16-17). Having received eternal life from Jesus Christ, there’s a knowledge in your heart that God is your Father. This isn’t an assumption; it’s knowledge imparted to us by the Holy Spirit that we’re born of God. We’re heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. How could you be broke, or live an ordinary life, with the knowledge that you’re a joint heir with Christ? Being a joint heir with Christ means everything that belongs to Jesus Christ belongs to you in the same way that it belongs to Him. He doesn’t own any more of it than you do. Also, through the same knowledge of God in our spirits, we’ve come to realize that nothing can work to our disadvantage. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God....” Notice the phrase “we know,” meaning that the knowledge is absolute. This isn’t an assumption. The knowledge that we’ve overcome the world is in our spirits; we’re more than conquerors and victors in Christ Jesus. It doesn’t matter how dark and gloomy things get; be unruffled. The knowledge we have and by which we live is beyond the senses. Likewise, when we pray, our prayers transcend the arena of assumptions. Our prayers produce results because of our deep and intimate knowledge of the One to whom we pray. Our relationship with Him is based on our knowledge of Him; it transcends religious rituals and formulas. Therefore, when we pray about something, it’s because we’re confident that it’s in accordance with the Father’s will. If it’s not His will, we don’t desire to pursue it. Our knowledge of Him causes us to trust Him completely, following His guidance. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the spirit of wisdom and insight into the deep and intimate knowledge of you. My spirit is alert to discern your promptings, and have a deeper understanding of the mysteries of your Kingdom. I grow in grace and in my relationship with you, with a replete knowledge of your perfect will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 1:17-18 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 1 John 5:20 AMPC* And we [have seen and] know [positively] that the Son of God has [actually] come to this world and has given us understanding and insight [progressively] to perceive (recognize) and come to know better and more clearly Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true--in His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES* Tuesday 21st November 2023 *A PROFOUND PRINCIPLE* 📖 ════════ *Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me ( Hebrews 13:5-6).* Pastor Chris Says ━━━━━━━━━━ Our opening scripture is very insightful. It unveils a profound principle in the concluding part of the 6th verse. With an understanding of this principle, you hold the key to amazing possibilities: “…he hath said … So that we may boldly say. “ In other words, God gave us His word—He said what He said — so that we can boldly respond in agreement with Him. Your response to God , to His word, is where the blessing is .Let’s read it again: “…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me “( Hebrews 13:5-6).Notice it doesn’t say, “He hath said, so that you might quietly say“; no! You’re to boldly affirm His word. Faith is boldly affirming what He has said! In this context, you declare “The Lord is helping me right now; He has said ‘I will not leave you helpless. ‘Therefore, I’m helped from heaven; I’m helped from above!” When you respond this way on the basis of what He has said, you’ll always win. For example, Jesus said in Matthew 28:20, “ …lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age. “ I therefore boldly declare that the Lord is with me ; therefore I have no fear but walk in favour, victory and dominion always and in all things. Even now, release words on the basis of what God has said . Declare, “I’m abundantly supplied ( 2 Corinthians 9: 8 ). I have everything I require for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3 ). No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, and I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me . Amen.” Such declarations activate your dominion and position you above the forces of this world. *PRAYER* I have dominion over circumstances and adversities. I’m seated with Christ; therefore, I speak with His Authority. I’m healthy, strong and prosperous; all that concerns me flourishes exceedingly. God’s grace for increase and expansion is multiplied in my life, in Jesus‘ Name. Amen. *FURTHER STUDY:* Mark 11: 23 ; 2 Corinthians 4:13 ; Romans 10: 8-10 *1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN:* James 4:13- 5: 1-20 & Ezekiel 24-26 *2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN:* John 13: 21-30 & 1 Chronicles 21 |
