RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL 📜YOUR SPIRIT HAS PERFECT RECALL Sunday, June 28th Pastor Chris 📖But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding (Job 32: .Have you ever heard some people say, “When I was much younger, my memory was perfect; I could remember anything. But now I’m sixty, and I don’t remember as much as I used to”? Never talk like that if you’re a Christian, because you don’t remember with your brain. You’ve got to understand this: your memory is not in your brain; it’s in your spirit. Your spirit has perfect recall; it can recollect anything. The story the Lord Jesus told about Lazarus and a certain rich man in Luke 16:19-31 proves it. The Bible says that when Lazarus died, the angels carried him to Abraham’s bosom. They didn’t carry his body; it was his spirit. Then the Bible says the rich man also died, was buried, and opened his eyes in hell. His body was in the earth but his spirit was conscious in hell. While in hell, the rich man could see, he could think, and he could recognize Lazarus. He even spoke and made requests. He asked Abraham to send Lazarus to bring him water (Luke 16:24). That tells you something: his brain had been buried, but he still had his full memory, his full awareness. His spirit remembered. Then Abraham said something remarkable. He said, “…Son, REMEMBER that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented” (Luke 16:25). Think about that. He had been dead, buried and gone to hell; his brain was no more, but he was told to "remember." That means memory is beyond the brain. It is of the spirit. That’s why you must never say, “I forgot”; get that language out of your communication. The spirit never forgets, and you’re a spirit being. So never say, “I’m quite forgetful these days,” or “My memory is failing.” No. It doesn’t matter how old you are; your spirit doesn’t grow old. It doesn’t deteriorate, and it doesn’t lose capacity. Your spirit is alive, alert and full of divine ability. Live from your spirit and enjoy its perfect recall. 🙏PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for opening my understanding to the realities and abilities of my spirit. I function from my spirit, and my memory is sound, sharp and effective. I have a sound memory because my spirit is alive, alert and has perfect recall, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Friday, 26 June 2026 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Theme: *Spiritual Weapons For Spiritual Warfare* *For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God…* (2 Corinthians 10:4 - 5). The Bible makes it clear that as Christians, we’re engaged in a spiritual warfare. This warfare isn’t against flesh and blood or humans but against principalities, powers, and rulers of the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:12). These are spiritual personalities, and therefore the warfare is spiritual. Now, because the conflict is spiritual, the weapons we employ can’t be man-made or natural. The Scriptures declare that they’re mighty through God, to the pulling down of strong holds. Our victory against the adversary isn’t determined by physical strength, human strategies, or intellectual reasoning but by the spiritual weapons God has made available to us. In our opening scripture, the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, highlights a specific dimension of this warfare. He shows that certain spiritual weapons are designed to deal with strongholds in the mental realm. These strongholds include imaginations, arguments, prejudices, and reasonings that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. These are entrenched patterns of thinking that contradict God’s truth. But with the Word of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we dismantle such strongholds or mental fortresses and bring them into alignment with Christ. This is a particular category of spiritual warfare, specifically the kind that deals with the mental realm. Not all spiritual warfare is limited to this dimension. The Scriptures reveal that spiritual engagement can involve broader operations against demonic structures and influences. Therefore, you must approach spiritual warfare with the right understanding. Where it concerns mental strongholds, apply God’s Word, and every reasoning, imagination and resistance to God’s truth will be dismantled. Prayer *Dear Father, thank you for the spiritual weapons you’ve given me for victory in life. By your Word and the power of the Spirit, I pull down strongholds, cast down imaginations, and bring every thought into obedience of Christ. My mind is governed by your truth, and I walk continually in dominion and victory, in Jesus’ Name. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜REFUSE TO BE LIMITED BY THE FLESH* *Thursday, June 25th* *Pastor Chris* _*📖For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit (Romans 8:5).*_ As a Christian, you’re not to live by the dictates of the flesh. You’re not called to respond to life on the basis of what you feel, see, or experience physically; you’re called to live from your spirit. The flesh will always try to impose limitations of age, weakness, ill health, and lack, but you’re of the Spirit and not of the flesh. Recall the words of the Lord Jesus in John 3:6, _*“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”*_ You’re born of the Spirit; you’re not defined by your body, and you’re not limited by physical conditions; you’re enabled by the life of God in you. Some judge their lives by the feelings in their bodies; they say, “I feel weak,” “I feel tired,” “I can’t do this.” But that’s living from the flesh. You don’t live by how you feel; you live by who you are. You don’t respond to the emotions or sensations of the flesh; you respond to the Word. The Bible says, _*“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day”*_ (2 Corinthians 4:16). Your outward man may be weakening, but your inward man, the real you, is renewed daily. Your spirit is constantly rejuvenated, full of strength and divine vitality. No wonder Paul, by the Spirit, tells us in Romans 8:11 that if the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, that same Spirit shall vitalize your mortal body. And thanks be unto God, He lives in you; therefore, your body is quickened, energized, and made alive by His Spirit that dwells in you. Blessed be God! Refuse to accept limitations. Refuse to speak weakness. Refuse to align yourself with the senses. You have a life that’s beyond this world; therefore, live from within, from your spirit, and you’ll walk in strength and victory because your life is governed by the Spirit of God who lives in you. *🗣️CONFESSION* *Dear Father, thank you for teaching me to live from my spirit. I refuse to be limited by the flesh or by natural conditions. I walk in the consciousness of who I am in Christ; I live above this world and its disabling influences. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *MONDAY 22ND JUNE 2026.* *PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.Sc, D.Sc, DD.* *TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR BODY* *_...Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost...and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19)._* Did you know that your body isn’t yours? It belongs to Jesus Christ; you were bought with a price. The Bible says, *_“...therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's”_* (1 Corinthians 6:20). Even though your body belongs to God, He has entrusted it to you. You’re the custodian of your body; you’re responsible for it. Many haven’t understood this. They think God is responsible for their body and whatever happens in it. They assume that if they serve God well enough, He’ll automatically take care of their health. But that’s not how it works. You’re responsible for keeping your body in health. Faithfulness isn’t the same as faith. You can be faithful in serving God and still allow sickness in your body because you haven’t taken your place of dominion. You’re a partaker of the divine nature; you’re not ordinary. You have authority over Satan, sickness, disease, infirmity, and death. So, refuse to allow sickness or disease gain entrance into your body. Don’t permit it. If you notice symptoms, don’t panic, don’t cry, and don’t accept them. More importantly, don’t beg God to take them away. You’ve been given authority. Exercise it. He said in Matthew 10:8, *_“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils….”_* Notice that He told you to do it. Don’t beg God to take sickness away from you; rather, destroy it with your faith-filled words. Put your hand on your body and say, “In the Name of Jesus Christ, I command this sickness to get out of my body. This body belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, and I refuse to allow any sickness in it.” When you speak like that in the Name of Jesus, that condition has no choice but to go. God is pleased with your faith. The Bible says, *_“But without faith it is impossible to please him…”_* (Hebrews 11:6). You don’t cry over sickness; you exercise authority over it. Use the Word to keep your body in health; this is God’s will for you: *_“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”_* (3 John 1:2). *CONFESSION* *I have the life of God in me, and it fully inundates my body. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Wednesday, June 17th 2026 THE REAL SOURCE OF TEMPTATION But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed (James 1:14). The Word of God reveals something profound about temptation and how it comes. Temptation doesn’t begin outside; it begins from within. We just read it: “… every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust....” It didn’t say by someone else’s actions or external pressure; it says you’re tempted when you’re lured by your own lust. That means the source is internal. Only what your heart already craves can tempt you. So, when people fall into temptation, it’s not the environment that caused it but the inclination of their heart. It’s not what they were exposed to but what they were already attracted to. The Bible gives us the progression: “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” (James 1:15). First, there’s attraction, then contemplation, followed by conception, and finally, manifestation. It doesn’t start with the act; it begins with what was allowed from within. That’s why the focus should always be on your heart. The Bible says to guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). It’s about what you permit to take root within you. Many try to avoid temptation by avoiding situations; while that may be helpful, the real issue is the condition of the heart. A man is not tempted simply because something exists; he is tempted because something in him responds. This is why blaming others for your slips, errors, or temptations is disingenuous. The Scripture is clear: you’re tempted when you’re drawn away by what already has a hold on your heart. That means the responsibility is personal. And this isn’t to bring condemnation but understanding, because once the source is understood, the solution becomes clear. You don’t deal with temptation through fear; you overcome it with the light of God’s Word and by walking in the Spirit. When you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh: “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16). PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word that gives me understanding. I’m not led by wrong desires; I walk in the Spirit and manifest the nature of righteousness. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Sunday, 14 June 2026 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Theme: *You've Overcome The World* *For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith* (1 John 5:4). Our opening scripture presents a truth that should fundamentally change your perspective concerning the world and its influences: you’ve already overcome the world. This is not a promise but a declaration of present truth. You’ve overcome the world and its crippling and corrupting influences. You’ve overcome the world’s system, its economy, economics, and politics. This is why it’s important as a Christian that you know who you are. Always be mindful of your identity; you’re born of God; and for that reason, the Scripture says you’ve overcome the world! It doesn’t say strive to overcome the world; neither does it suggest a progressive attainment of victory. This has nothing to do with your effort but the result of what Christ has already done. He said in John 16:33, *...be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.* He didn’t do it for Himself; He did it for you. Your victory is a present reality rooted in your oneness and identity with Christ and your faith in His finished works. The world operates through sensory perception and natural reasoning. But as Christians, we live by faith: *…as it is written, the just shall live by faith* (Romans 1:17). The life in Christ is governed by faith. To walk by faith is to live above the world’s system, to live in transcendence over it. We’re not called to fight the world, the flesh or the devil. We’ve overcome the world. We’ve crucified the flesh. We’re superior to the devil. What we’re called to do with the world is to tame it and not to love it: *Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world…* (1 John 2:15). The absence of affection neutralises influence. This was what Paul meant when He said by the Spirit in Galatians 6:14, *…the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.* You’re dead to the world. The systems of this world have no claim, no hold, and no defining power over your life because though you’re in the world, you’re not of this world (John 15:19). Blessed be God! Prayer *Dear Father, thank you for the victory I have in Christ. I walk by faith and not by sight, living above the systems and influences of this world. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL 📜HE MADE US GREAT AND MADE US KINGS Monday, May 25th Pastor Chris 📖And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). Some people struggle with the idea of greatness. They resist it because it sounds excessive or inappropriate. So they say, “Don’t talk about me being great; that’s too much.” But God made us great because we’re the seed of Abraham. Our greatness was His idea; we didn’t ask for it. It wasn’t Abraham who said, “...O, God, make me great.” It was God who said to Abraham, “...I will bless thee, and make thy name great...” (Genesis 12:2). So, as a Christian, when you shrink back from greatness, it’s incongruous with your identity and with God’s plan for your life. Ponder the fact that God reiterated with unmistakable clarity in Genesis 17:6 what He had said in Genesis 12:2, “And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee” (Genesis 17:6). Observe that it says, “Kings shall come out of thee.” This is consistent with what the Scripture reveals about us in Christ: “…much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17). The literal sense of the word “reign” in the verse above is to “king.” It’s the verb of kingship. Therefore, you could say, “They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall king in life by Jesus Christ.” And it gets even stronger. The Bible says He has “…made us kings and priests unto God and his Father...” (Revelation 1:6). Our title as kings isn’t futuristic but a present-moment reality. He has made us kings. What do kings do? They rule and reign. They exercise authority and dominion in their realm. This is why you must never talk like a victim, act helpless, or see yourself as ordinary. You’re great, and you’re a king. The Bible says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power…” (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Kings don’t beg or grovel; they speak with authority. They comport themselves with dignity. Kings manifest royalty. Every so often, say, “I know who I am; I’m great, and I’m a king. I reign and rule in life.” You’re not trying to hype yourself when you say this but merely affirming what God has done, who He’s made you. It’s your identity; He made you great and made you a king. 🙏PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for your blessing and greatness at work in my life. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TOPIC: "SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT IN LEADERSHIP" Monday, May 18th Pastor Chris 📖And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom (2 Samuel 16:23). Scripture repeatedly warns us about the danger of bad counsel. The Bible reveals this in the story of Ahithophel, a man whose counsel carried such weight that it was regarded as though one had inquired at the oracle of God (2 Samuel 16:23). He was esteemed, trusted and relied upon, not only by David but later also by Absalom. Yet, despite his reputation, he became a part of an evil conspiracy. When Absalom rebelled against his father, David, the conspiracy gained strength, and the people increased continually with Absalom (2 Samuel 15:12). In the midst of that uprising, Ahithophel joined himself to Absalom. Then the report reached David: “...Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom...” (2 Samuel 15:31). The presence of Ahithophel in Absalom’s camp meant strategic advantage, because his counsel was powerful, persuasive and influential. But David didn’t panic or try to outmanoeuvre Ahithophel by human strategy. He simply prayed, “...O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness” (2 Samuel 15:31). That prayer reveals a vital truth: no matter how intelligent a counsel appears, if it’s aligned against God’s purpose, it can be defeated. This is why discernment is essential for leaders. Not every voice around leaders is sent to help. Some counsellors present themselves as wise, but their intent is to mislead, divide and destroy. They push out the good, speak against the righteous, and attempt to plant ideas that weaken what God is building. But they’re not beyond the reach of divine judgment. The Lord can expose them, silence them and turn their wisdom into foolishness. As Christians, we must understand and take advantage of our authority in Christ to affect nations and their leaders, families and destinies. Therefore, always pray with understanding, that those in authority may be guided by truth, surrounded by righteous counsel, and strengthened to fulfil God’s purpose. Pray that the Spirit of God will continually grant them discernment to identify and prevail over deceptive agendas, and walk in the wisdom of God. Praise God PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom of your Spirit at work in me and in your Church. I pray for leaders in nations and institutions, that they be surrounded with righteous counsel and guided by truth. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY 17TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.Sc, D.Sc, DD. GUARD AGAINST DECEPTION But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3). Genesis chapter 3 exposes a recurring and dangerous pattern of deception that has persisted throughout history. It begins with Eve faithfully recounting to Satan what God had said about the tree of knowledge of good and evil that was in the garden of Eden: “...We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.” (Genesis 3:2-3). Then Satan responded, “...Ye shall not surely die” (Genesis 3:4). He contradicted God directly. But it didn’t end there. The next verse reveals something deeper as Satan continues, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5). With that statement, Satan moved from contradicting God to accusing Him of deception. It’s the same thing today; those who are masters of deception accuse others of misinformation. Satan accused God of misinformation. His suggestion was that God knew the “real truth” but withheld it from Adam and Eve. This is the master of deception pretending to tell the truth. This pattern of satanic manipulation of truth through subtlety echoes in other biblical narratives. For example, in 2 Samuel 13, we see a similar deception at play. The story began with Amnon, the son of King David who developed a lustful obsession for his sister Tamar. The Septuagint clarified that this was a lust-driven love, not genuine affection. His obsession intensified, and he became sick with longing. The danger emerged when Amnon's friend Jonadab, described as “a very subtle man,” intervened. Jonadab was a cunning advisor who manipulated Amnon into destructive actions that ultimately led to tragedy and death. You must guard your heart against deception by staying with what God has said in His Word. Refuse Satan’s contradictions and perverted truths. Reject every voice that questions the veracity of God’s Word. When your heart is established in God’s truths, you become unmovable, discerning and protected. You recognise deception for what it is and you remain grounded in the integrity of God’s Word. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your Word that keeps me established in truth. My heart is guarded by your wisdom, and I walk in discernment by the Holy Spirit, who secures my path in your light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 2:11 ASV that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES Saturday, May 16th, Pastor Chris LITTLE CHILDREN, YOUNG MEN AND FATHERS I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one... (1 John 2:12-13). Notice that in the scripture we just read, the Apostle John only associated sin with “little children,” spiritual toddlers. Yet, many speak as though sin is inevitable for everyone, saying, “Everybody sins”; no! The Bible says, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin…” (1 John 3:9). Moreover, the Bible describes sin and defines sin from God’s perspective, not man’s perspective. If you look at sin through the eyes of men, you’ll never rise to your best potential in Christ. The earth around us is thick with sin and condemnation. Man became a sinner in nature after his actions of treasonable disobedience. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” It’s the reason the Lord Jesus came and solved the sin-problem once and for all through His vicarious sacrifice in our behalf. As the second Adam, He became sin for us, not a sinner, and therefore paid the full penalty for sin, ridding us of its effects. Today, being born again, sin has no dominion over you (Romans 6:14). 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” So, when the Bible says, “Whoever has been born of God does not sin...” (1 John 3:9 NKJV), it’s because being born of Him, you have His life and nature that doesn’t sin. That’s the life of the new creation in Christ! What if you sin? While that shows you’re still a child, he already said to the children, “Your sins are forgiven for His Name sake.” But better than that, He also made provision for your automatic cleansing: “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7 NKJV). Knowing and walking in the light of God’s Word is the key. It shows you’ve matured spiritually. That’s the life of the fathers: walking in the light of your righteousness—in the light of who you are in Christ—above sin, Satan and the elements of this world. Praise God! CONFESSION I have the life and nature of God in me; I live the higher life in Christ. I walk in strength, victory and righteousness. I walk in the light of my identity and heritage in Christ, above sin, Satan and the elements of this world. Glory to God! FURTHER STUDY=> 1 John 3:9 AMPC No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God's nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God. 1 John 2:1-2 KJV My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: [2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:12-14 NKJV I write to you, little children, Because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake. [13] I write to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, Because you have overcome the wicked one. I write to you, little children, Because you have known the Father. [14] I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY 14TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.Sc, D.Sc, DD. KNOW AND WORSHIP HIM AS LORD That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). Until you come to terms with who the Lord Jesus really is, you can’t serve Him or walk with Him. As long as He is to you “the Son of God” without a definition, He remains abstract, and you won’t relate with Him rightly. Even the way many address Him reveals what they know. There’s a difference between talking about Him and talking to Him. You can say “Jesus” when you’re talking about Him, but when you’re talking to Him, you address Him as Lord. After His resurrection and ascension, no one ever addressed Him casually as Jesus but as Lord Jesus. When you know Him, you recognise His lordship. Some people say Jesus appeared to them, but if they truly saw Him, there would be a change in their reverence and honour. Saul of Tarsus had an encounter on the road to Damascus. A light struck him down, and he heard a voice calling his name: “...Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” (Acts 9:4). His response was immediate: “...Who art thou, Lord?...” (Acts 9:5). He recognised that the One who manifested such power could only be the Lord. When the Lord answered, “...I am Jesus whom thou persecutest...” (Acts 9:5), Saul didn’t respond by addressing Him casually. From then on, he related to Him as Lord. The same truth is seen in the experience of John. In Revelation 1:17, he says, “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead....” This was the glorified Christ. Power was present, and John fell under that manifestation. Then the Lord laid His right hand upon him and spoke words of blessing: _“...Fear not; I am the first and the last”_ (Revelation 1:17). When you recognise Him as Lord, your fellowship with Him becomes richer. Your reverence deepens. Your consciousness of His glory increases. And you discover that even with a few words, your prayer becomes full of power because you’re relating with Him as He truly is: the Lord Jesus Christ. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for unveiling to me the reality of the lordship of Jesus Christ. I honour Him with reverence, and I relate with Him with the consciousness of His glory, majesty and authority. My fellowship with Him is deep and rich, and I walk in the power of His Name and the dominion of His Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Tuesday, May 12th 2026 THE COMPLETE REVELATION OF GOD’S LOVE He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love (1 John 4: ![]() Many people have their own definition of love because the word love has been there even before Jesus came. People used it in their daily language. It was not created when Jesus arrived. Even in the Greek expression, love, which is translated “agape,” was a known word; they used it in their daily conversations, so they already had their idea of love. But the Lord Jesus Christ is the true definition of God’s love. He was the visible manifestation and expression of the love of God when He walked the earth. The Bible says God is love; that love was tabernacled in human flesh and manifested to us in the person of Jesus. When He walked the earth, it was love walking, talking, touching and changing lives. When He entered the temple and preached, He was God’s love preaching. When He healed the sick, He was God’s love healing them. Even when He made whips and overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple, that was God’s love in manifestation. Make no mistakes about it, your human definition of love will never decide for God what love is. Jesus Christ was God’s love come to us in the flesh. John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Fully God and fully man, He embodied everything love is. Therefore, to know love, you must know the Lord Jesus. To understand love, you must see it through Him. He is the perfect and complete revelation of God’s love to humanity. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for revealing your love to me in Christ Jesus. I walk in the consciousness of your love, expressing it with wisdom, truth and power. My life reflects the love of Christ in action, bringing healing, righteousness and transformation to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ||* 1 John 4:9-11 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 Year Bible Reading Plan : John 6:1-24 & 1 Kings 9 2 Year Bible Reading Plan : 1 Corinthians 7:25-40 & Proverbs 8 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY 10TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.Sc, D.Sc, DD. “WHICH THINGS ALSO WE SPEAK” Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:12). One of the reasons the Holy Spirit came into your life is to help you know the things of God and make you conscious of what God has freely given to you. 1 Corinthians 2:11-13 explains this with striking clarity. It says, “…the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” Now, notice something absolutely remarkable in the 12th and 13th verses. There’re those who criticise Christians for speaking or confessing the Word, especially when it concerns prosperity, health, victory, or dominion in Christ. But their problem is ignorance of the Word. There’re only two directions: if you’re not proclaiming prosperity and health then you’ve endorsed lack and sickness. There’s no middle ground. 3 John 1:2 proves that God is interested in your complete prosperity: your material prosperity, and the prosperity of your soul: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Not only does the Holy Spirit reveal these and other amazing truths of your heritage and identity in Christ to you, He also teaches you to speak them. Christianity is for talkers. If you don’t speak what God has given you, you’re not practising Christianity as revealed in Scripture. We talk our inheritance. We declare our identity. We profess our heritage. We boldly declare what we have and who we are in Christ. That’s the victory principle—saying what God has said: “…he hath said…So that we may boldly say…” (Hebrews 13:5-6). As you keep saying what God has said, the realities of the Kingdom are manifested in your life. Therefore, declare your victory. Affirm your dominion. Speak your prosperity and health. Speak the Word boldly and watch your life go from glory to glory. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who teaches me to speak the things you have freely given to me. My mouth is filled with your Word, and I speak boldly. I walk in victory, dominion and prosperity, and my life is transformed from glory to glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:11-13 AMPC For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY 9TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.Sc, D.Sc, DD YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ANOINTING But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things (1 John 2:20). You can be blessed through the grace God has given to someone else. You can be influenced by their faith, and they can join their faith with yours to get something done. But no one can increase the anointing on your life, because you already have all the anointing there could ever be. If you’d trust this truth, you’d do amazing things. The Bible says, “...ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...” (Acts 1: . The Holy Spirit came upon them on the day of Pentecost for the purpose of dwelling inside them. He comes upon, to enter in. He came upon you to prepare you as the tabernacle of God, and now He lives in you. How could you then have a lesser unction or anointing when He lives in you in His totality, His fullness? The Scriptures tell us something extraordinary: we are members of Christ’s body, of His flesh, and of His bones (Ephesians 5:30). It doesn’t get better than that. John 1:16 also says, “...of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.” And then 1 John 4:17 declares “...as he is, so are we in this world.” That means God sees us the way He sees Jesus. Demons see us the way they saw Jesus. What more do you want? You already have what you need. In 1 John 2:20, John, by the Spirit, wrote to the saints saying, “...ye have an unction from the Holy One….” Notice He didn’t say, “Try to get more unction from the Lord”; rather he said you already have it! The same word translated “unction” is translated “anointing” in the 27th verse that says, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you....” Having received the Holy Spirit, God never gives the impression that you need to get something more before you can live for Him or function for Him. You already received all the power, glory and authority you need to live transcendently on earth. The anointing is inside you and that anointing teaches you and abides in you forever. This is your reality. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your glory, power, authority and dominion granted me forever because I’ve received the Holy Spirit. I live conscious of His greatness within me as I function in the fullness of Christ. I walk in boldness, dominion and supernatural ability, manifesting your glory everywhere, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. *Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional* *Friday, May 8th, 2026* *Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD* *THE RIGHT FOUNDATION FOR FAITH* 📖 *_"For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7)._* Do you want to live the Christian life according to the Bible? Then you've got to know and follow the Word for yourself and live by it, not your feelings. Feelings and personal experiences are not basis for faith. God never designed us to rely on experiences. Our faith is founded on His Word. People often describe different sensations they *"feel"* when the power of God is manifested. Some say they felt something cold; others say they felt something hot. Some say they were shaking, and others say they became stiff and couldn't move. These are personal experiences peculiar to different individuals. Therefore, it's not right for anyone to make a doctrine out of their personal experience. The Bible never says you must feel anything when the power of God is working in you, on you, or through you. The Word doesn't base divine realities on sensations. They're activated by faith. No matter the feeling you may have, focus on the Word, on the result, that God's grace has met your need. A beautiful example is the woman with the issue of blood. The Bible records that the moment she touched the hem of the Master's garment, *_"... straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague"_*(Mark 5:29). Notice that her testimony of the feeling was that she was healed. That is the kind of testimony that matters; the best report is to know and testify that you are healed. That's the Word's report and provides the right foundation for faith. Faith is the expectation of the fulfilment of God's Word and acting accordingly, and you'll enjoy the results that the Word guarantees. *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for your Word that guides my life and establishes my faith. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Sunday, Apri 3rd 2026 RESPOND RIGHTLY TO THE SPIRIT Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he… As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground (John 18:4-6). There’s such a thing as falling under the power of God. It’s real. But sometimes, that people fell under the power when hands were laid on them or when they were ministered to, doesn’t automatically mean they received something. Power can be present, power can flow, and people can respond physically to that power yet receive no meaningful spiritual impartation. You can tell by the results. For example, John 18:4-6 tells us what transpired on the night the Lord Jesus was arrested. He stood before the men who came for Him and asked, “Whom do you seek?” They answered, “Jesus of Nazareth.” And He said, “I am he.” The Bible says they staggered backwards and fell to the ground. They fell under the power. It was real power. But what did they receive? Nothing! They still arrested Him. The manifestation of power didn’t mean a spiritual deposit was received. Acts 9:3-7 shows us the example of Saul on the road to Damascus. A light shone from heaven, and a voice spoke, “...Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” (Acts 9:4). Paul testified that on hearing that voice, he and his companions all fell to the earth. Yet only one heard the meaning of the words that the Lord spoke—Saul of Tarsus, who later was called Paul. The rest fell down, got up, and went into the city. There was power but they received nothing. Remember that the Holy Spirit is intelligent. He knows a person can be under His influence and still receive nothing. Therefore, you must learn to respond correctly to the Spirit, by faith and understanding, to receive His blessings and impartations. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for your Spirit who ministers to me and through me with wisdom and power. My heart is receptive, my spirit is attentive, and I receive divine deposits that produce lasting transformation as the Spirit ministers to me. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY 23RD APRIL 2026. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME D.Sc, D.Sc, DD. RELEASE THE POWER FROM WITHIN It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). As a new creation, you don’t need another power or a special charge from outside. All the power you require is already in you. When you received the Holy Spirit, you received limitless, supernatural power to effect changes. This power, according to James 5:16 AMPC, is dynamic in its operation. What God wants is that you frequently release that power from within you. Years ago, while preparing for a major camp meeting, I recall praying to the Lord for a fresh “turbo charge.” But the Lord spoke to my spirit and said, “What you need is the release of what you already have inside you.” Then, I asked, “Lord, how do I release it?” And He said, “It’s an act of your faith.” Immediately, I caught it. That night, as I ministered the Word, I perceived the power of God flowing out of me like a river. Suddenly, a visible cloud, like smoke, rose from the concrete floor. This wasn’t the effect of an artificial smoke machine; the glory of God filled the place. People shouted as the cloud moved over them. The sick were healed everywhere in the arena. Glory to God! Here’s the point: that power didn’t come from heaven into the room. It came from within me. The Lord Jesus said, “He that believeth on me…out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38). He spoke of the Holy Spirit who would be given to those who believe in Him. The same Spirit is in you today. The words that you speak are Spirit-filled words; they’re full of power. They carry life and produce healing, deliverance, and miracles. Don’t wait for something to come from outside. Release the power within you through faith-filled words. Speak life. Speak healing. Speak salvation. Let the rivers of living water within you flow and transform the lives of those around you. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your supernatural power at work in me; your grace and glory flow from within me to bless, heal, strengthen and lift others. It’s up to you to put this to practise every day in your personal life. It’ll keep you above agitation, fear and worry. Those who aren’t often filled with the Spirit are easily troubled and uneasy, looking for someone to blame or somewhere to vent their frustrations. But when you live full of the Spirit, you remain joyful, peaceful and at rest. You don’t struggle; your faith prevails. You function from a place of divine supply, strength and wisdom. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY 12TH APRIL 2026. PASTOR CHRIS * A SWORN DECLARATION OF BLESSING For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee (Hebrews 6:13-14). God’s covenant with Abraham was more than a promise—it was a sworn declaration of blessing. The Bible says that because God could not swear by anyone greater, He swore by Himself. That means the blessing was backed by God's very nature and integrity. It wasn’t just a good intention; it was a covenant of certainty. This blessing wasn’t for Abraham alone. Galatians 3:29 declares, “...If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” You’re the inheritor of the Abrahamic blessings. You’re the reason God made that promise to Abraham—to reach you through Christ. This blessing is active in your life today, and it means increase, favour, fruitfulness, and spiritual authority. God’s blessing on you is irreversible and unstoppable. That’s why no curse, opposition, or circumstance can prevail against you. You’ve been empowered to succeed and multiply. This is something much bigger than yourself. It’s not just about your needs being met; it’s about being a channel of divine flow. He said to Abraham, “...I will bless you...And you shall be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2 NKJV). You’re blessed to be a blessing. You’ve been blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). Don’t live like someone trying to be blessed. Live as one already blessed, walking in divine partnership with God and dispensing blessings. Speak blessings. Declare your increase. Expect favour and dispense favour. Multiply your resources and use them to advance the Kingdom. It’s your heritage in Christ. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for making me the seed of Abraham and an heir of the blessing. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Saturday, April 11th 2026 NO SUCH THING AS LACK 📖But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We observed in our previous study that being born again, you’ve been brought into a place of unending, boundless, and exhaustless riches. Christ is your source. He’s brought you into a “large place” (Psalm 18:19), a place of wealth untold. That’s the reality. Therefore, lack should have no place in your life as a child of God. There’s no such thing as shortage for the one who lives by the mentality of the Spirit. Think beyond this world about everything concerning your life. Keep your mindset aligned with your divine nature. You’re a child of God;therefore, your thoughts, speech, and expectations must reflect that reality. It must reflect in the excellence of your health, the excellence of your finances and everything else about your life. Don’t allow others to measure you by their limitations. The one who thinks lack assumes everyone else is in lack. The one who feels pain assumes everyone must feel the same pain. But you’re different. Therefore, think differently, speak differently and live differently. You’re from above; you live in Christ, and in Christ there’s no lack. Refuse to reason from the realm of need; you came from the realm of abundance. You function from heaven’s supply. The Lord Jesus didn’t die for nothing. He brought us into sonship. He made us heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. That means all things are yours now. See and speak from this divine position of advantage and abundant grace. There’s money for you everywhere. There’re resources laid up for you to execute the assignments God has committed to you. The doors are open; the supply is endless. Act like the Word is true, because, indeed, it is! It says, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10 NIV). Hallelujah! I walk in Christ’s boundless and inexhaustible supply, in His unsearchable riches. I refuse lack or limitation. All things are mine. I live in supernatural supply every day! I operate in divine abundance and walk in the full manifestation of my inheritance in Christ. I am a dispenser of blessings and a giver of good things, fulfilling God’s purpose with excellence. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD. THURSDAY APRIL 09 2026 THE FULLNESS OF THE BLESSINGS OF CHRIST And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ (Romans 15:29). Every Christian is called to walk in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. The Apostle Paul knew it was possible, and by the Spirit, he declared accordingly. It’s not a special privilege exclusive to the apostles. Rather, it’s what is possible for every one of us in Christ; we’re called to live in the fullness of the blessings of Christ. Make up your mind that this is going to be your experience. Acknowledge and declare every day that you walk in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. This is the life of the new creation; it’s a life of advantage, abundant supply, and exceeding grace. Remember the line in the prayer that the Lord Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). This means our heavenly Father has a daily budget for each one of us, a divine provision set aside just for you every single day! So, enjoy what’s yours; walk in the fullness of your daily provisions. God already made the supply. Even the ones you didn’t “collect” over the years have accumulated for you as arrears; call them forth! Make the firm decision to enjoy your life in Christ and to live a great life. He called you into a life of blessing according to 1 Peter 3:9, “… ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.” Therefore, live in blessings. It’s part of the reasons we give, serve, and reach others with the love of Christ. It’s the reason we distribute God’s Word in every known language, to improve and save lives, and bring them into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, so they too can know about and walk in the fullness of the blessings of Christ. Praise God! PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. I walk in surplus and unending divine advantages. I’m a dispenser of blessings, improving lives, and fulfilling your perfect will by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜ALIGN YOUR WORDS WITH HIS WORD* *Wednesday, April 1st* *Pastor Chris* _*📖It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).*_ The Lord Jesus said, _*"...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life"*_ (John 6:63). The same is true about our words, because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Our words are not ordinary. When you understand this, you’ll put a premium on words and become careful how you use them. Words are the greatest things in the world. The Lord Jesus set an example for us on the use of words. He healed with words, He blessed with words, and He changed lives with words. On a certain occasion, some officers were sent to arrest Him; when they got to where He was, they met Him teaching and decided to listen (John 7:32, 45-46). When He was through, they couldn’t bring themselves to lay hands on Him. When they returned without Him, the elders asked, "Where is He?" (John 7:45). They answered, _*"...No man ever spoke like this Man!"*_ (John 7:46 NKJV). It wasn’t that the Master used unusual expressions or rare diction; it was the power, truth, and spirit of His words (John 6:63; Luke 4:32). His words mended the brokenhearted, cast out devils, and even raised the dead (Luke 4:18-19; John 11:43-44). His words got a response from heaven; the Father responded to His words (John 12:28). In Christ, we have received that same life. Our words, spoken in faith, are spirit and life. Your words bring healing, comfort, direction, and blessings. This is why you must never take your words lightly. Speak with truth, grace, and faith. Speak as one who understands the power and energy of words. Remember the words of the Master in Matthew 12:37, _*“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”*_ Align your speech continually with the Word, and it’ll produce life and results. Keep growing in this understanding. Hallelujah! *🙏PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for your Word, which cultures my spirit and fills my heart with faith, love, and righteousness. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜THE GOSPEL OF DELIVERANCE* *Tuesday, March 24th* *Pastor Chris* _*📖That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).*_ Someone once asked why I don’t preach on “deliverance”; I actually do, but not in the way some expect. I believe the Word of God brings true deliverance, and the moment you receive Christ, you’re delivered. The Gospel itself is the Gospel of deliverance. Salvation comes by confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. That confession of His lordship is deliverance in itself because the lordship of Jesus Christ over your life completely broke the dominion of Satan. You can’t have Jesus as Lord of your life and, at the same time, have Satan ruling over you; that’s impossible. Now, some worry about what they call generational bondage or curses. But the Bible already gives the answer to that in 2 Corinthians 5:17. It says, _*“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”*_ That means the problem some Christians have is not bondage but ignorance. There’s a mentality some still carry that has kept them defeated, oppressed and in satanic strongholds. But what did the Lord Jesus say, _*“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”*_ (John 8:32). The truth is that in Christ, you’ve been begotten into a new life, a living hope by His resurrection. Hallelujah! When He died, you died with Him. When He was buried, you were buried with Him. When God raised Him from the dead, you were raised together with Him. Now the Bible says, _*“Giving thanks unto the Father… Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son”*_ (Colossians 1:12-13). Thus, the true deliverance is the lordship of Jesus Christ over your life. Now that you’re in Him, you’re seated in the highest place of authority, dominion and power. Ephesians 2:6 says you’ve been raised up together and made to sit together with Christ in heavenly places. Ephesians 1:21 describes this seat of power as _*“Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come”*_ (Ephesians 1:21). You’re superior to Satan; you therefore don’t need any deliverance from him. *🙏PRAYER* *Dear Father, I thank you for my glorious life in Christ and the blessed liberty of the Spirit to love you, fellowship with you, serve you and live for you. Thank you for the victory and dominion I have over Satan and the powers of darkness. I live free, bold, and triumphant every day, walking in the truth of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *📜THE REALITY OF RESURRECTION* *Sunday, March 22nd* *Pastor Chris* _*📖Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever (Hebrews 13: .*_There are those who preach reincarnation, claiming that after death, a person returns in another body, perhaps as an animal, bird, insect, or even another human. But this teaching is unscriptural. The Bible teaches resurrection, not reincarnation. Resurrection is life after death, but it’s the same person who’s brought back to life by God's power. That is the truth. Reincarnation is a lie, a false doctrine, but resurrection is God's reality. It’s interesting how many believe in what they can’t prove. Christianity can be proven. The resurrection of Christ proves His deity. Romans 1:4 says He was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. That’s why His Name still has power today. Whatever He accomplished before He died, His Name continues to do today. The Bible says, _*“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever”*_ (Hebrews 13: . Furthermore, the Bible says God has appointed a day of judgment, confirmed by the resurrection of Jesus Christ (read Acts 17:31). The resurrection is the undeniable proof that the Lord Jesus is the appointed Judge. Believing in this truth excludes the idea of reincarnation. Some misunderstand the words of the Master about John the Baptist, calling him “Elijah.” He didn’t mean Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist; rather, He meant that John the Baptist came in the power and spirit of Elijah (Luke 1:13-17). If Elijah himself were to appear again, he would still be Elijah, not John. The Bible also speaks of two witnesses who will minister in Israel during the last days, and many believe one of them will be Elijah, since he never died but was taken alive to heaven (2 Kings 2:11). When he appears, it will not be a reincarnation, but Elijah himself manifesting again according to God’s plan. How about Moses? The Bible says he died and God Himself buried him (Deuteronomy 34:5-6). Yet, he appeared with Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration with the Lord Jesus (Matthew 17:1-3). That wasn’t reincarnation either; it was Moses in a glorified, transfigured body, demonstrating the resurrection power of God. Hallelujah! *🙏PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for the assurance of eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ. I live in the reality of His resurrection power and look forward with joy to the glorious rapture of the Church and resurrection of the saints. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL 📜THE HIGHER REALM OF FAITH Saturday, March 21st Pastor Chris 📖Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is such an important subject in the Word of God. The Bible says without faith, it’s impossible to please God. But what exactly is faith? The Bible gives us the clearest definition as read in our opening scripture. In the Old Testament, what we call faith was often expressed more as trust or confidence in God. They trusted Him to keep His promises, to guide them, to be with them on their journeys. Abraham, for example, demonstrated this kind of faith by making an unqualified commitment to God, breaking all the limits of trust. But in the New Testament, faith is revealed as something higher and greater. It’s not just having the confidence that God “will” act or do something; it’s living in the finished works of Christ. It’s knowing and accepting that God has done all He ever needed to do for us and acting accordingly. Therefore, faith being the substance of things hoped for means it’s the “materiality” of your hope. It’s the assurance that what you’ve believed has become real, you’ve possessed it, irrespective of what your mind or senses may tell you. The Word of God is the evidence that you’re who God says you are, you have what He says you have, and you can do what He says you can do. Your response to these and other truths in the Word of God is faith. That’s why we say faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. When you hear His Word, your spirit must grasp it as real because your spirit can see, perceive, and respond to spiritual realities even when your senses can’t. That’s what God expects of us. It’s not enough to trust Him occasionally in one area of life, but to live entirely in this higher realm of faith. Hebrews 10:38 says, “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” 🗣️CONFESSION My faith is the victory that overcomes the world. I see, possess, and live in the reality of my heritage, identity and abilities in Christ Jesus. My faith is active, producing results and changing hopeless circumstances for the glory of God. Amen. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD Friday, March 20th 2026 BOLDNESS IS OF THE SPIRIT 📚And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:1). Someone once asked, “How do I develop the boldness or courage to minister the Gospel?” The answer is simple: be filled with the Spirit. If you’re filled with the Holy Spirit, you’ll be bold. In the book of Acts, we see that the Apostles were emboldened by the Spirit. Their confidence wasn’t from human ability but from being filled with the Spirit. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:4, “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.” The word “edifieth” also means emboldens. The one who speaks in tongues emboldens himself. The more you pray in tongues, the more your spirit is stirred in the Holy Ghost, and the bolder you become. Think of Simon Peter; before he received the Holy Spirit, he was timid. At the crucifixion, when the Lord was arrested, Peter denied even knowing Him. He was called Simon, a reed, shaken by the wind. But after he received the Holy Spirit, everything changed. On the day of Pentecost, filled with the Spirit, he stood before a massive crowd and boldly proclaimed Christ. The timid Simon had become Peter the Rock, empowered by the Holy Ghost. The same Spirit is in you today. Ephesians 5:18 instructs us to be continually filled with the Spirit and also tells us how: “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (Ephesians 5:19-21). When you pray in tongues often, sing spiritual songs, and give thanks always, you stay full of the Spirit. And when you’re full of the Spirit, boldness is natural. You’ll find yourself confidently preaching, teaching, and sharing the Word of God anywhere and with anyone. That boldness is of the Spirit. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who dwells in me and fills me with boldness to preach the Gospel and manifest your righteousness at all times. I’m full of power by the Holy Spirit, strengthened with might in my inner man and invigorated with miracle-working ability as I declare your Word everywhere, leading many to salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Thursday, 12 March 2026 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Theme: True Submission To The Lordship Of Jesus Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Some situations and challenges you face may not change until you understand true submission to the lordship of the Name of Jesus. It’s a missing link in the lives of some Christians. They say, “I’ve prayed and fasted, but the power of God in my life seems elusive. What more do I need to do?” I’ll give you an example in Matthew 17. The Bible tells us how a man approached the Lord Jesus, kneeling before Him, and pleading for his son who was tormented by a demon (Matthew 17:14 - 16). The Lord responded with these words: ...O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me. And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour (Matthew 17:17 - 18 NKJV). The disciples had been given authority to cast out demons and heal the sick (Matthew 10:1), which made their inability to cast out the demon from the boy perplexing to them. After witnessing how Jesus successfully cast out the demon, in their frustration, they asked Him privately why they couldn’t do it themselves. Then the Master explained,...Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:20 - 21). Notice His words; they reveal something important about the essence of true prayer and fasting. Sadly, this is where many people miss it; they fast for more power to cast out devils, but that’s not the idea here. One of the things that prayer and fasting does for you is to get you more submissive to the lordship of Jesus. The more you yield yourself to Him, the more His power flows through you. Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of your Word. I submit myself wholly to your lordship, acknowledging that you are my sufficiency and strength. Your power and grace flow through me unhindered to heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, and do mighty works with the Gospel, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 10TH MARCH 2026. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome D.Sc, D.Sc, DD THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS LORDSHIP And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32). Now that you’re in Christ, it’s a new life altogether, a life under the lordship of Jesus. Yet, many Christians are not fully conscious of His lordship in their everyday life. When you say Jesus Christ is Lord of your life, it means that His Word has become the supreme authority in your life. The lordship of Christ is expressed first in the lordship of His Word. You cannot function in His lordship without submitting to the authority of His Word. That Word is described in Scripture as “the Word of His grace”; that’s what builds you up in life, strengthens you, and establishes you in the inheritance that belongs to you in Christ. This is why you can’t afford to be in just any place, listening to just anything. The Word of His grace reveals Christ, unveils His finished work, and imparts faith, boldness and the consciousness of your inheritance. That’s what empowers you to function effectively in the lordship of Jesus. So, make up your mind to live perpetually under the authority of the Word. The more you submit to the Word, the more you’ll function in the consciousness of His lordship for His glory to be revealed in your life in ever-increasing measure. CONFESSION I’m fully yielded to the authority of God’s Word, the Word of His grace that builds me, strengthens me, and positions me in my inheritance in Christ. I’m growing, making progress, and manifesting the glory of God in ever-increasing measure because I’m a doer of the Word. The Word of God is my life and my all. Hallelujah! James 1:22-25 KJV But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY 8TH MARCH 2026. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome D.Sc, D.Sc, DD A LIFE OF BLESSINGS, GLORY, AND EXCELLENCE But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC). As a Christian, you’re not subject to disease, infirmities or demons, because you have the transcendent life in Christ. You’re not in bondage to the elements of this world; you live above them. I love the way the Apostle Peter puts it; he said, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4). You live far above and beyond the corruption, decadence and darkness of this world because you’re an associate of the God-kind, a partaker of the divine nature. You’re superior to Satan and the corrupting influences of this present world of darkness. Your life is full of blessings, glory and virtue. Virtue is excellence; you have an excellent life in Christ Jesus. Think about the Apostle Peter who wrote the beautiful verses of scripture that we read earlier; he once trembled with fear and denied the Lord Jesus before a little girl. His faith was unstable. But after he received the Holy Spirit, something changed. He expressed and manifested the God-life in Him with such glory and boldness that through his preaching, three thousand souls gave their hearts to Christ in one day, as revealed in Acts 2:41. What transformed him? He had come to the revelation of the glorious life we have in Christ. What a life! There’s no failure, defeat, or darkness in you; only blessings, excellence, perfection, and glory. 1 Peter 3:9 says you were called to inherit a blessing, not shame or weakness. This is the life you’ve received in Christ; it’s one of dominion over sickness, disease, demons, poverty, failure and death. Glory to God! PRAYER I thank you Father for the glorious life you’ve given me in Christ Jesus, a life of blessings, excellence, health, victory and strength. *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *SUNDAY 1ST MARCH 2026.* *Pastor Chris Oyakhilome D.Sc, D.Sc, DD* *SENT AS A WITNESS* *_There was a man sent from God, whose name was John (John 1:6)._* Some people argue that no one should say, “God sent me,” but the Scripture already settles that. The Lord Jesus said in John 20:21, *_“…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”_* Moreover, we read in our opening scripture that there was a man sent from God whose name was John. So, like John, you’re God-sent. You’ve been sent as a witness with the power of the Holy Spirit. You’re not a wanderer in life; you’re a divine envoy. You’re heaven’s ambassador in the earth: *_“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…”_* (2 Corinthians 5:20). You’re a light bearer, and more than that, you’re light: *_“Ye are the light of the world...”_* (Matthew 5:14). You’ve been sent to illuminate men’s path and light up the nations with the message of Christ’s salvation. Refuse to let anyone convince you otherwise; you were born with a purpose. You came as a witness to your generation. Your life is God’s message. And being a witness means making disciples. The Master’s instruction wasn’t to simply lead men to Christ but to also make disciples of them: *_“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)._* That means those you reach with the Gospel are to follow and observe your faith. They should walk in your steps in doctrine, in prayer, and in Kingdom service. They’re to follow the vision you’re following. The Apostle Paul understood this when he said, *_“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ”_* (1 Corinthians 11:1). True disciples lead others in the path they themselves are walking. Disciples make disciples. So, stay committed and be consistent in soul winning. Be bold about your calling and faithful to your divine mission. *PRAYER* *Dear Father, thank you for choosing and sending me as your witness to my generation. I walk in the light of your Word and reflect your glory everywhere. I make disciples through the power of your Spirit, teaching and guiding them in the path of righteousness. I’m bold about my calling and faithful to my mission, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.* *FURTHER STUDY:* *Luke 24:45-48 KJV* Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, [46] And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: [47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. [48] And ye are witnesses of these things. *Acts 1:8 KJV* But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. *Acts 5:29-32 KJV* Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. [30] The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. [31] Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. [32] And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. *DAILY SCRIPTURE READING* *1-Year Bible Reading Plan:* Mark 9:14-32 & Numbers 7-8 *2-Year Bible Reading Plan:* Acts 23:1-10 & Psalm 50-51 *We trust you have been blessed by this devotional. I believe HE died for me and GOD raised HIM from the dead. I believe HE’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that JESUS CHRIST is the LORD of my life from this day. Through HIM and in HIS Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you LORD, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of GOD. Hallelujah!” *Congratulations! You are now a child of GOD*. |
