AN UNCONDITIONAL INSTRUCTION

Sunday, April 6th .
Pastor Chris

📖Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee (Exodus 20:12).

The Word of God provides clear instructions about the relationship between children and their parents. The apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:1-3 (AMPC) highlights the importance of children obeying and honouring their parents: “CHILDREN, OBEY your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right. Honour (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother--this is the first commandment with a promise-- That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.”

When you dishonour your parents, it affects your life negatively. Success may come, but it can be fleeting, with cycles of ups and downs, losses, and instability. It’s one of the reasons some people experience unexplainable instability, setbacks, and even premature death.

So, do what the Word says; honour your parents or those who may be standing in that role over you. When you do, the result is clear: “It shall be well with you in life.” Honouring your parents isn’t just about your actions, but also about your attitude. The way you speak to them matters. You must treat them with utmost regard and respect.

Furthermore, observe that God didn’t add any condition to you honouring your parents. He didn’t say, “Honour your father and mother if they treat you well”; no! Their status as your parents is enough qualification for them to be honoured. It makes no difference what issues or challenges they may have; they’re your parents, and you’re obligated to honour them.

If your mother or father is unwell or living in poor conditions, do something about it; show care. Others may disregard them, but they’re your parents, not theirs. You might say, “My parents were very mean to me and didn’t give me the right love and care as a child; therefore, I don’t feel I should honour them.” Well, they’re still your parents, and you have a duty to respect and honour them regardless. You have to do what the Word says.

No matter how much you speak in tongues or demonstrate spiritual fervour, it can’t replace this biblical principle. God’s Word is consistent, and honouring your parents is a divine instruction that brings blessings and ensures your journey in life is pleasant—upward and forward. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for teaching me the importance of honouring my parents and those you’ve placed to watch over me in the Lord. I show them the respect and regard they deserve; thus, my path in life is one of success and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVES*

Friday, March 28th .
Pastor Chris

_*📖For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).*_

What does it mean to believe with the heart? The Apostle Paul wasn’t referring to the physical heart, the organ that pumps blood in your body. He's talking about your spirit. Your heart is your spirit—your innermost being.

You believe with your heart, not with your mind or your brain. This is why many people who try to reason God out with their minds can’t find Him. God doesn’t appeal to your senses; He is real to your spirit. The mind doesn’t have the capacity to figure out spiritual matters. It is the human spirit that understands these things.

When a man’s spirit is dead to God, the things of God will seem foolish to him. No wonder the Lord Jesus said in John 3:3, _*"...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."*_ This means he cannot see the realities of the Kingdom of God nor can he know God. But when you’re born again, it’s different. Even when your brain is unable to figure something out, you can still believe it with your spirit.

Think about the virgin birth of Jesus Christ: Mary, a virgin, gave birth to a baby. There’s no science that can explain that. How about Jesus dying, being buried for three days, and then rising from the dead? The natural human mind can’t explain it. But we believe it, because with the heart man believes, not with the mind.

The human spirit has the capacity to believe even that which it can’t explain or understand. It’s the reason some say that as Christians we’ve been brainwashed. No! We weren’t brainwashed; we were “heart-washed!” God gave us a new heart, a believing heart. Someone says, “I only believe what I see!” That doesn’t make sense because why would you need to believe what you can already see?

_*“...Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”*_ (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is of the heart and not the senses. When you believe, your spirit takes a hold of divine truths that your mind cannot grasp. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the gift of faith that works from my spirit. I believe and embrace your Word with my heart, taking hold of every divine truth, and it transforms my life. My spirit is alive to you, and I walk in your glory and righteousness today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *Mark 11:22-24* And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]. *||*

*||* *Hebrews 11:1-3* Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. *||*

THE FOUNDATION OF TRUE CHRISTIANITY

Wednesday, March 26th .
Pastor Chris

📖All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV).

Just because certain people have chosen a particular kind of Christianity that’s not based on the Scriptures and have decided that it represents Christianity, doesn’t mean that what they are practicing is Christianity at all. True Christianity is based on the Bible—the Word of God.

Our opening scripture says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). Every Christian believes, accepts, confesses, endorses and proclaims that the Bible is absolutely true and it’s the final arbiter concerning everything in life. Otherwise, such a person isn’t a Christian.

Also, the Christian accepts that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that means He’s God in the flesh: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:14). Plus that, the Christian acknowledges that Jesus died as our Saviour: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:cool.

The Christian confesses that Jesus was raised from the dead and professes that He is alive today: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9). Revelation 1:18, "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."

So it makes no difference for how long you’ve professed to be a Christian or the title by which you’re addressed; if you don’t accept, believe, and confess these truths, you’re not a Christian according to the Bible. This is the beginning of the definition of who a Christian is. Why is this so important?

It’s because the transcendent life in Christ that the Bible talks about is only available to those who believe. Believing involves two essential components: accepting the truthfulness of something and confessing it, while acting accordingly. Without these, belief is incomplete. Praise God.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the light of your Word that defines and directs my life. I believe, accept, confess, and proclaim the absolute truth of the Scriptures. I boldly affirm that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died as my Saviour, was raised from the dead, and now, lives in my heart by His Spirit. I live by these truths, walking in the full blessings of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY📖=> || Romans 10:8-10 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ||

|| 1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. ||

*GLORIOUSLY STRENGTHENED FROM WITHIN*

Friday, March 21st .
Pastor Chris

_*📖For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man (Ephesians 3:14-16).*_

The portion of Scripture in Ephesians 3:14-21 is one of the most profound and climactic revelations given to Paul by the Holy Spirit. It unveils the prayer of the Spirit, which is the will of the Father for every Christian. Notice the 16th verse; Paul prays that God would _*“...grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.”*_ He wants you gloriously strengthened on the inside.

Why does God want you strengthened from within? Why does He want to make you strong on the inside? It’s against what’s on the outside! Remember what He said in 1 John 4:4, _*“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”*_ The focus is on who’s inside you and the power at work in you. He’s talking about you being supernaturally strengthened on the inside by His miracle-working ability.

Consider the example of John the Baptist, whom the scripture says was filled with the Holy Ghost from his mother’s womb, unlike any other prophet. Luke 1:80 tells us, _*“And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit....”*_ This is definitely not a description of the outward man but of the inner man. And because of the life John the Baptist was going to live, the forces he was going to encounter, and the ministry God had given him, he needed to be made strong in spirit.

It’s the same today; this prayer of the Spirit is evidently the will of the Father for us, because it’s the inspired prayer for the Church such that none of us should be weak, fearful or timid. No! Irrespective of your physical frame, you’re strong inside. This is God’s desire, dream, and plan for you. Therefore, every so often, declare, “I’m gloriously strengthened and constantly invigorated by the Holy Spirit who dwells in me. He gives me supernatural power, the miracle-working ability to do all things; there’s no weakness in me." Make this your habitual confession and see the magnitude of what will happen in your spirit, life and circumstances.

*CONFESSION*

*Dear Father, thank you for granting me, according to the riches of your glory, to be strengthened with might by your Spirit in my inner man. I am empowered to face every challenge, fulfil my divine calling and walk in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. Your glorious strength works mightily in me, and I am victorious always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *Acts 1:8 AMPC* But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth. *||*

*||* *Colossians 1:11 AMPC* [We pray] that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory, [to exercise] every kind of endurance and patience (perseverance and forbearance) with joy, *||*

*||* *Ephesians 3:20-21 AMPC* Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-- 21 To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it). *||*

Theme: *The Will And Nature Of The Father*

*Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high* (Hebrews 1:3).

To understand what sin is, you must first understand the nature of God and His righteousness. God is holy and absolutely righteous. His nature is righteousness. His nature of righteousness distinguishes Him as perfect, infallible, inerrant, just, and good.

God reveals and demonstrates His righteousness to man through His words and acts of love. Sin, therefore, as taught by Jesus, is any act or deliberate thought that contravenes His righteousness as revealed in the Scriptures.

Good or evil, right or wrong, are judged by the very nature of God. You can’t tell what is good or evil, right or wrong, except by the nature of God. That’s why judgment cannot be left to society, as it constantly changes. For instance, society may claim that certain lifestyles or practices are right. But their conscience tells them it’s wrong, yet they attempt to suppress that voice. The conscience is the voice of the human spirit, and when they ignore it, they carry a burdened and dirty conscience for a long time. Some, sadly, even die in that state.

The nature of God is the standard for judging good or evil, right or wrong. To express righteousness and goodness, God reveals His nature and will to men. Therefore, righteousness is the expression of the will and nature of the Father. This simple yet extraordinarily profound definition encapsulates all the other definitions of righteousness. Our righteousness, therefore, is our expression of the will and nature of the Father.

This is exactly what Jesus came to do: to express the will and nature of the Father. The word “express” means to show, evince, manifest, articulate, and demonstrate. Hebrews 1:3 declares Jesus as the express image of the Father - the perfect imprint and character of the Father. He gave perfect expression to the will and nature of the Father.

Likewise, God’s plan and purpose for us is to give expression to the will and nature of the Father. This is true righteousness. Imagine if you lived your life giving expression to the will and nature of the Father everywhere and in all matters and events. What a ministry. What a life! Make these your cogitations. Hallelujah!

Prayer

*Dear Father, I thank you for revealing your nature and will to me through your Word and your acts of love. I’m the expression of your righteousness, giving perfect demonstration to your will and nature in all I do. By the power of your Spirit, I walk in alignment with your purpose, manifesting your glory and righteousness to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND ASSURANCE*

_*For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17)*_

In Romans 14, the Apostle Paul discusses issues of conscience and how Christians should handle differences in personal convictions, particularly concerning dietary practices and observing special days. He emphasized that Christians should not judge or cause others to stumble over matters of food and drink, which are secondary, compared to the more important aspects of the Kingdom of God.

No wonder he concluded in Romans 14:17, *"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."* This is remarkable; it tells us what the Kingdom is about— righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost! This is what your life should be like every day; the effusion and manifestation of His righteousness, peace and joy.

It reminds of something beautiful that the Bible says in Isaiah 32:17, *"And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever."* This is wonderful! So, first, the work of righteousness is peace; peace in your life, such that no matter what happens, you’re unperturbed, full of confidence, eternal joy, comfort, prosperity and rest.

Also, observe that it doesn’t say that the effect of this righteousness from the Kingdom of God is quietness and assurance for just two weeks, no; it’s forever! The 18th verse says, *"And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places."* While this prophecy points to what Israel will fully experience in the millennial reign of Christ, this is a present-hour reality for us in Christ today. We dwell in Christ; that is our peaceable habitation, our sure dwelling and quiet resting place. You have quietness, safety and security forever because of the righteousness of God given to us in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for the gift of righteousness, which brings peace, quietness and assurance forever. I walk in the light as a child of light, lambent and luminous. I dwell in a peaceable habitation, secure, safe and at rest forever. Thank you for the eternal joy I have in the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

ESTEEM YOUR CALLING IN HIM
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; ESTEEMING THE REPROACH OF CHRIST GREATER RICHES THAN THE TREASURES IN EGYPT: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward (Hebrews 11:24-26)._

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━
The example of Moses in our theme scripture is what God expects of us. He wants us to be identified with Him and esteem our calling in Him much more than the wealth, fame and comfort that the world could offer.Your union with Christ is the greatest thing; it’s far greater than anything money can acquire. That’s why it’s important that you know who Christ is in your heart and believe in Him with your spirit.

The knowledge of who you are in Him and your glorious heritage in Him will inspire in you an extraordinary boldness and confidence such that the whole world will mean nothing to you. Pleasing Him in all things, and fulfilling His destiny for your life, becomes all that you care about. Recall the Spirit’s prayer through Paul for the Christians at Colossae: _“For this reason…We continually ask God…that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way…”_ (Colossians 1:9-10 NIV).

Moses didn’t live in Jesus’ day, but he had a revelation of his calling and identity with the saviour, because when you identify with Him, you become a saviour. And that’s what Moses became. The Bible says through him, God delivered (saved) the children of Israel from Egypt. Going to confront Pharaoh to let God’s people go was at the risk of his life but he esteemed that assignment beyond any resultant peril. He was dauntless, forsaking Egypt—the world—and all it represented.

Let nothing matter or mean more to you than living for Christ. The Bible says, _“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again”_ (2 Corinthians 5:15). Live to please Him. Remember, you’re a saviour from Zion; you were saved to save others. Identify with Him in His passion for soul winning. Esteem His call upon your life—the call to win souls and lead men into salvation—more than the treasures of this world.

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, I esteem my calling in Christ above all worldly pursuits and live a life worthy of you, pleasing you in every way as I fulfil my purpose to the glory of your Name. I’m bold and confident to identify with you and to win souls for your Kingdom. My life reflects your glory, and I am committed to the call to save others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Hebrews 11:24-26 NIV; By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
25. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.
26. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.

Philippians 3:7-9; But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8. Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ,

*RULE YOUR WORLD*

Monday, February 24th .
Pastor Chris

_*📖Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:37).*_

Think about what we just read in our opening scripture! It means your victory over the adversary is already settled. It’s the result of what Jesus accomplished for us through His death, burial and resurrection. Today, your responsibility is to maintain that victory; rule your world. Take charge. God has given you the dominion and the authority to alter the course of events in the earth, using the Name of Jesus.

Revelation 1:6 tells us something remarkable; it says God has _*“…made us kings and priests….”*_ Kings rule. Kings exercise dominion and exert authority. Romans 5:17 tells us something equally beautiful; it says, _*“…they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”*_ That’s your calling: to reign in life through Jesus Christ.

The Bible tells us that God set Jesus Christ in the high place of glory, put all things under His feet, and legally declared Him to be the head over all things for the benefit of the Church: _*“And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all”*_ (Ephesians 1:22-23).

The Church is His body; therefore, if all things have been placed beneath His feet, and you’re part of His body, it means all things have been placed under your feet. Satan, failure, sickness, poverty and death are all under your feet. Glory be to God! You’re seated at the right hand of God in Christ Jesus; that means you’re in the place of divine authority and power. Therefore, reign in life, and rule over circumstances. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, with the authority you have given me, I take charge of my world with confidence and boldness. I enforce your will and purpose in my city and nation as I side with you in bringing your Word to pass in this world. I declare that your Word prevails in the lives of men, for amplified activities of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*STAY IN THE WORD*

_*📖Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying, It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments...
(1 Samuel 15:10-11).*_

Anyone can be suddenly transformed by the Spirit of God, and we’ve seen this happen many times, even in Bible days. But you have to stay rooted in the Word, established and founded in faith, as that’s the only way to sustain such transformation.

In 1 Samuel 10, for example, we read the account of Saul, the son of Kish, who was gloriously transformed by the Spirit of God and began to prophesy. The Bible says Saul was turned into another man. Read the words of the Prophet Samuel to him in 1 Samuel 10:6, _*"And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man."*_

When Saul turned to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart, and he began to prophesy among the prophets. This marked the beginning of Saul's reign as king of Israel. Can you imagine a man receiving another heart instantly by the power of the Holy Spirit? However, in 1 Samuel 15, just five chapters later, God spoke to Samuel and said, _*“It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night"*_
(1 Samuel 15:11).

In 1 Chronicles 10:13-14, we learn that Saul died for his transgressions, particularly for not keeping the word of the Lord and for consulting a familiar spirit instead of seeking God. Even though Saul had such a great, miraculous transformation in his life, he didn’t sustain it because he didn’t keep the Word of the Lord.

So, be wise; sustain the work, the transformations that the Holy Spirit brings to your life, by staying focused on the Word. Be a doer of the Word. James 1:22 says, _*“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”*_ Whatever God does in your life is meant to stay and grow into greater glories, but that will only happen if you stay in the Word of God.

*PRAYER*
Dear Father, I thank you for the transformative power of your Word and the Spirit in my life. I commit to following you in, through, and by the Word. I stay rooted in your Word, established and founded in faith, steadfast, resolute, unshakeable, and unmoveable, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *James 1:22-25* But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. *||*

*||* *Colossians 3:16* Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. *||*

*||* *Psalm 119:11* Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. *||*

*WE RELATE TO GOD FROM OUR SPIRITS*

Thursday, February 20th .
Pastor Chris

_*📖There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).*_

There’s a misconception that some people have about how men and women connect with God in worship. They assume that men tend to focus on songs about power, while women, being more passionate, prefer singing love songs to the Lord. But such thinking is carnal and misses the deeper spiritual truth. When it comes to our relationship with God, we relate to Him from our spirits, not on the basis of physical gender.

Paul made this clear when he said, _*“For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son...”*_ (Romans 1:9). We are spirit beings, created in the image of God, and when we serve God, we do so from our spirits. In Christ, our identity transcends gender. Our true identity is in our spirits, and in that realm, there is no distinction. Therefore, in worship, your connection with God is about your spirit reaching out to His Spirit in fellowship. The Lord Jesus said, _*“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”*_
(John 4:23-24).

The outward gender is part of the earthly body, but we’re new creations, living and serving God from our spirits, where gender distinctions have no place: Galatians 3:26-28, _*“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”*_ Also, the Bible says that _*"...the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed"*_ (1 Corinthians 15:52). At the resurrection, we will be transformed and no longer be bound by physical distinctions like gender. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of who I am in Christ. I know that in my spirit, I’m a new creation, made in your image. I serve you with all my heart, with passion, power and love, knowing that my worship transcends the physical. Thank you for making me inextricably one with you, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *John 4:23-24 NIV* Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." *||*

*||* *Romans 1:9* For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; *||*

*||* *Galatians 3:26-28 AMPC* For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. 27 For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ. 28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. *||*

*THE LIVING AND ACTIVE WORD*

Tuesday, February 18th .
Pastor Chris

_*📖For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).*_

I love the James Moffatt’s rendering of the verse above. It says, _*“For the Logos of God is a living thing, active and more cutting than any sword with double edge, penetrating to the very division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow — scrutinizing the very thoughts and conceptions of the heart.”*_ That’s the Word; it’s a living thing.

The Amplified version says, “It’s living and active”: _*“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.”*_

Imagine inundating your spirit with the Word; it’ll have a great impact on your soul and body! When the pressures of life come, when you’re squeezed by life’s challenges, it’s the Word that’ll come forth. And God’s Word is God’s creative material; it’ll produce what it talks about.

1 Timothy 4:15 says, _*“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.”*_ Also, Joshua 1:8 says, _*“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”*_

Instead of worrying about your health and trying to figure out every little sensation in your body; meditate on
the Word. The Word will keep you in health and safety. When you face difficulties, respond with the Word. God’s
Word holds the power to change circumstances and bring life to every situation.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the power of your living Word that abides in me. Your Word is full of power, energizing and effective, and I declare that it produces results in my life. I refuse to fear or be anxious about anything. Instead, I release your Word over every situation and circumstance, knowing it will accomplish what it talks about and bring glory to your Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *Isaiah 55:11* So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. *||*

YOUR OFFERING MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Sunday, February 2nd .
Pastor Chris

📖And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar (1 Kings 3:4).

In 1 Kings 3, when Solomon became king of Israel, he was deeply troubled. He knew he was not the firstborn son, and his mother, Bathsheba, was not the
first wife of his father, David. Solomon understood that
his position as king would bring challenges because he had older brothers who despised both him and his mother.

For example, when you study the accounts in 1 Kings 2, Solomon's older brother Adonijah attempted to usurp the throne, and Solomon later ordered the execution of Adonijah, Joab, and Shimei to secure his reign. These show the violent and unstable environment in which Solomon ascended the throne. So, despite being king, he faced several threats to his life and position. He knew he had to do something beyond the ordinary to secure his reign and separate himself from the danger around him.

What did Solomon do? He offered an extraordinary sacrifice to God. 1 Kings 3:4 says, "And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar." Solomon was determined to put everything on the line in his worship to God. Today, we can learn from what Solomon did. It’s one of the ways to move forward and establish yourself where God has placed you.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the opportunity to give into your Kingdom. I refuse to be subject to the limitations of this world, for Christ is my riddance as well as my advantage. I align myself with your divine principles, ensuring progress and prosperity in every area of my life. Thank you for separating me from the forces of poverty and wickedness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY📖=> || 2 Corinthians 9:6-10 But this [I say], He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousnesswink ||

|| Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. ||

|| 1 Kings 3:5-13 In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee. 6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day. 7 And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I [am but] a little child: I know not [how] to go out or come in. 8 And thy servant [is] in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. 9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? 10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. 11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; 12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. 13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. ||

*A CALL TO ACT YOUR FAITH*

Wednesday, January 29th .
Pastor Chris

_*📖Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).*_

In Luke 8:22-25, the Lord Jesus and His disciples set sail across the lake when a violent storm arose, causing the boat to be filled with water. The disciples, filled with fear, woke Jesus, saying, "Master, Master, we perish!" Jesus then arose, rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and the storm immediately ceased, resulting in a great calm. It was a marvellous display of divine authority.

Then the Bible says, _*"...And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him"*_ (Luke 8:25). Now, here's what's important: after rebuking the wind and the waves, Jesus turned to His disciples and asked, "Where is your faith?" That statement speaks volumes. He's saying, "You could have done it yourselves."

By asking, "Where is your faith?" the Lord Jesus revealed that what they needed all along was their faith. He demonstrated that with faith, even the forces of nature are subject to us. He expected His disciples to know that their faith could have handled the situation.

Hebrews 11:33-34 tells us what our forebears did through faith. They subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

We can do the same and even more in our day because we have the same spirit of faith (2 Corinthians 4:13). Our faith is real, it is substance, it has power, and the beautiful thing is that every Christian has faith. We all have the same measure of faith (Romans 12:3), and with your faith, you can do anything. You can change anything. The forces of nature, hell and of this world are subject to you.

Activate your faith even now and speak to the storm, and there'll be a great calm. Speak to your body, your blood, your bones, your heart and kidneys. Speak to your job, your finances, and your business. Speak and declare perfection in your health, your home and family.

*PRAYER*

*WE EFFECT CHANGES WHEN WE PRAY*

Sunday, January 26th .
Pastor Chris

_*📖...The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working] (James 5:16 AMPC).*_

Some people see prayer as the recourse of the weak-minded or of those who are helpless and hopeless. But that's an outright misconception. When you understand prayer and the reason we pray, you'd realize that we never pray from a position of weakness or disadvantage; we don't merely pray in hope. We pray to effect changes.

Prayer in the Kingdom of God goes far beyond hope, even though hope is a great virtue. In fact, the very act of prayer arises from hope. But when you begin to pray, you're no longer simply demonstrating hope—you're now effecting changes. God never wants us to be in a hopeless situation where we feel hamstrung and hedged in. We can do anything and change anything in His Name in the place of prayer.

When you study the Scriptures, you'd discover that each time God's people prayed, miracles were wrought, adversities were turned into testimonies. It's the same in our day; our prayers are effective. So, it makes no difference what the case is; pray! The Bible says the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much; it makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working.

Pray according to the Word of God and exercise your authority and dominion in Christ. Use the Name of Jesus and change that seemingly hopeless situation. Whether you're praying for yourself, a loved one, your nation, the salvation of souls, or the furtherance of the Gospel; pray with confidence, knowing that you have a right to be heard by God. He told us to pray because He planned to answer. Hallelujah!

Never see prayer as a last resort or something we do because we're out of wits or options; no! When we pray, we're taking action. It's our means of influencing situations and releasing the power of God to effect changes and establish God's will in the earth. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege and power of prayer. My prayers are effectual, bringing about changes in my life and the lives of others as I exercise my spiritual authority over every situation and effect the will of the Father in my life, that of my loved ones, and in the nations of the world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *1 John 5:14-15* And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. *||*

*||* *Mark 11:24* Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]. *||*

*||* *Philippians 4:6-7* Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. *||*

HIS FAIRNESS AND IMPARTIALITY

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

What we just read is so huge; it’s one of the unexplored tablelands in the Christian experience. I would to God every Christian understood what it means for us to be called the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It's different from us being made righteous; the Greek word there is “Dikaiosune” and it means equity, the quality of fairness or impartiality.

What this means is that we’re God’s proof of His fairness and impartiality. We’re the manifestation of His equity. This is so wonderful! Recall what the Bible says in Ephesians 3:10, “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.” It means that God points to us as evidence to all principalities and powers to judge that He is fair; He shows off with us as trophies of His goodness. Hallelujah!

Romans 3:26 says, “…To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” What this means is that through the redemption that’s in Christ Jesus, God has proven Himself just, in justifying the sinner. Jesus Christ was delivered to death for our offenses, and raised back to life for our justification.

When you study Romans 3:21-26, you’d understand this better. That portion says, “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”

Think about that! God proves Himself to be just, while He justifies the sinner. How can He justify the sinner? Why are we His righteousness? Why are we His proof of His equity? We’ll learn more in our next study.

CONFESSION
I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, a living proof of God’s fairness, justice and goodness. Thank you Father, for making me the expression of your wisdom to the glory of your Name; I walk in this understanding, showing forth your righteousness and manifesting your equity to the world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

*BE FAITHFUL WITH HIS INVESTMENT*

Tuesday, January 14th .
Pastor Chris

_*📖Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain... (John 15:16).*_

When God gives you an opportunity of service of any kind and at whatever capacity, it's essential that you recognize and use it. God is not a wasteful investor. He doesn't invest in a place or person that yields no results. Think about it; if you were an investor, would you continue pouring resources into a project that shows no progress? Of course not!

Now, if man, in his limited human wisdom, would be cautious with his investments, how much more would God? Each one of us is an investment of God. He expects us to bear fruits with the resources, gifts, talents, blessings and opportunities He's entrusted to us. I love the way Paul puts it in 1 Corinthians 4:1; he calls us stewards, and in verse 2 he says, _*"Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."*_ So, are you a faithful steward of God's investment?

In John 15:2, the Lord Jesus said, _*"Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit."*_ He cuts off the supply to the unfruitful branch; no more testimonies because the supply isn't there anymore. God won't waste His investment. So, let Him trust you.

He said in the 16th verse, _*"...I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain..."*_ (John 15:16). What a privilege; what a blessing! The Lord Jesus Himself has chosen and ordained us to be fruitful. He ordained you to bring forth lasting fruits. Hallelujah! This is your mission. You're a missionary to your world, chosen by God for this purpose.

As long as you remain faithful, God will continue to invest in you and trust you with more. Paul said, _*"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry"*_ (1 Timothy 1:12). The Lord will enable you, promote you, and continue to pour His resources into your life as you bear fruits for His Kingdom.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for choosing and ordaining me to bear fruit for your Kingdom. I acknowledge the great investment you have made in my life. By your Spirit, I remain connected to the vine, producing results in every area of my life. I am forever fruitful, productive, profitable and committed to using every opportunity for your glory, winning souls and sponsoring the Gospel, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.*

THE DAYS OF THE GREATER GLORY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
..Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain (James 5:7).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━━
The Lord Jesus referred to the Father as the husbandman, and we, the body of Christ, are the precious fruit of the earth that He waits for. The apostle James, in the theme verse, also tells us that the husbandman patiently waits until He receives the early and latter rain (James 5:7).

We understand that concerning lsrael, the latter rain began on the Day of Pentecost. Peter confirmed this when he said, _.it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh._ (Acts 2:17). This was the beginning of the outpouring that had been prophesied to take place in the last days.

Hosea 6:3 gives us further insight into this promise: "Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." This rain, spoken of in Hosea, pertains to both Israel and the Church. For Israel, the latter rain came at Pentecost, marking the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the early Church.

However, within the Church, that outpouring on the Day of Pentecost was not the latter rain but the early rain. The early rain is the seed-time rain, the rain that comes after the Word of God has been sown, causing it to sprout and grow. Acts 2 marked the start of the Church with the descent of the Holy Spirit, the beginning of a new era for the Church.

The prophet Haggai also spoke of a greater glory to come: "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former.. (Haggai 2:9). This means that even though the early rain was glorious, the latter rain, which we are now experiencing, will far exceed what we saw at the beginning. We are living in the days of that greater glory, where the Church will manifest even more of God's grace and power.

Peter, James and John lived in the last days concerning Israel, but we live in the last days concerning the Church. The latter rain for lsrael is the early rain for the Church, and we're living in the time of the fullness of that latter rain. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I rejoice in the knowledge that I'm a part of your precious fruit, nurtured by the early and latter rain. Thank you for the greater glory that is now manifest in the Church in these end times. I walk in the power and fullness of your Spirit today, impacting my world with the fruits and works of righteousness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Acts 2:16-17; But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Joel 2:23; Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].

Zechariah 10:1; Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; [so] the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

PRAYER IN THE NIGHT WATCHES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children... (Lamentations 2:19).

Pastor Chris
━━━━━━━━━━
Another mystery revealed to us in the Word is a secret about prayer that God's people need to understand. In Lamentations 2:19, we see a situation where the people needed deliverance for their children. Observe that the prophet didn't just say "Cry out; rather, he said, "Arise, cry out in the night...." There was a specificity; it had to be at night.

There's something about praying in the night. Even though He didn't say you should pray every night, there're specific times when the Holy Spirit will lead you to pray in the night; that's why walking with the Spirit is so important. Night here isn't just 9pm or 10 pm; it's the wee hours of the morning, at the beginning of the watches, that's after 12 midnight.

Notice what He tells you to do at that time of the night: "...pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord..." (Lamentations 2:19). This is no casual prayer; you pour out your heart before God. Then, what else? "Lift up thy hands toward Him for the life of thy young children." Some parents have faced situations where a child had become wayward or errant, delinquent and unruly, ensnared by the devil. Don't stand by helplessly, as if you can't bring about a change in that child's life; deal strongly in prayer and deliver your son or daughter.

Get up at midnight and pray! Use this secret of prayer that I'm sharing with you now. Lift up your hands and pray that child back into the will of God. Declare that he or she is turned away from the world's influences, drawn to the Word, and inspired by the things of the Kingdom. Declare that Satan has nothing in your child and that henceforth, the visions of the Spirit will be kindled in the heart of that child, imbuing him or her with the boldness and courage to fulfil divine purpose with joy.

Perhaps it's sickness or disease that has taken hold of that child; you must deliver that child in prayer. Pray this way and the Lord will intervene in the situation and restore the child to perfection. The instruction is for you to pour out your heart and lift up your hands toward God at night. This is how you take charge and bring deliverance to your children. Hallelujah!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, I pray against every influence of darkness that seeks to capture the hearts of children and young people, including peer pressure, negative media and worldly ideologies. I declare that they're walking in the light and rejecting every unfruitful work of evil as they walk in righteousness and fulfil their purpose in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

WE'RE HEAVENLY BEINGS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven (1 Corinthians 15:47).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━━━
Part of what we observed from our previous study is that if you have Christ, you have eternal life, and if you don't have Christ, you don't have eternal life. It's as simple as that. Without Him, you're still living in the state of the first Adam, 100% human, earthly, and of this world. The Bible paints a clear picture of this reality in 1 Corinthians 15:47: "The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven."

The first Adam represents humanity's earthly nature, the fallen state that began with him. This nature is limited, bound by the world, and destined for destruction. That's a painful truth to acknowledge, but it's what the Bible says. Those who aren't born again are doomed to judgement and destruction. They may be your family members, friends, or leaders in society, but without Christ, they are earthy, and reserved for judgement; hence we must preach the Gospel to them as the only means of salvation.

Read 1 Corinthians 15:48 (AMPC) and see the powerful contrast between the earthy and the heavenly: "Now those who are made of the dust are like him who was first made of the dust (earthly-minded); and as is [the Man] from heaven, so also [are those] who are of heaven (heavenly-minded)." Those who are not born again (the earthy) are earthly-minded, but those who are born again in Christ are heavenly-minded. This doesn't mean we are simply thinking about going to heaven; it means that we operate with the mindset and principles of heaven here on earth.

Heavenly-mindedness means living and thinking in alignment with how things are done in heaven, following God's will, operating by His principles and thinking His thoughts. That's the transformation that takes place when you're born again. Verse 49 (AMPC) continues: "And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven." We once bore the image of the man of dust, earthly, fallen and bound to the limitations of this world. But now, as new creations, we bear the image of the Man from heaven: Jesus Christ!

We are no longer earthy but heavenly. We live in this world, but we are not of this world (John 17:16). You're a heavenly man or woman, a heavenly being, living by the thoughts, principles and ways of God's Kingdom. Hallelujah!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, I refuse to be limited by the earthly system, for I bear the image of Christ, the Man from heaven, and I'm aligned with your will and your ways as it is in the Word. Thank you for my life in Christ. I walk in victory, being heavenly-minded and empowered by your Spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

📖 FURTHER STUDY:

Colossians 3:1-2: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

1 Corinthians 15:47-49 AMPC; The first man [was] from out of earth, made of dust (earthly-minded); the second Man [is] the Lord from out of heaven.
48 Now those who are made of the dust are like him who was first made of the dust (earthly-minded); and as is [the Man] from heaven, so also [are those] who are of heaven (heavenly-minded).
49. And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.

HIS SACRIFICIAL LOVE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).

Pastor Chris Says
━━━━━━━━━
Our opening scripture brings to mind the words of the Spirit through the apostle Paul in Romans 5:8: _"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."Think about such sacrificial love. He was condemned in our place. No wonder the Bible says, _There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus..." (Romans 8:1).

The word translated "condemnation" also means "judgment"; Jesus Christ was judged for us. 2 Corinthians 5:19 (NIV) says, ...God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them..._ Did you notice that? God isn't counting men's sins against them because He laid their sins on Jesus. Jesus became the sin-bearer.

1 Peter 2:24 further makes it clearer; it says, _"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness.... It's the reason when we pray for sinners, we pray that they'll come to terms with the revelation that God has given: Christ bore their sins and they don't need to live in sin anymore. Hallelujah!

2 Corinthians 5:14 says, "For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead." This is absolutely legal and logical: He died for everybody; therefore, everybody died. Verse 15 says, _And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again." Don't live unto yourself but unto Him. This is the right response to His sacrificial love. Hallelujah!

🙏 P R A Y E R
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dear Father, I thank you for the priceless sacrifice of Jesus Christ who bore our sins and took our judgment upon Himself. Thank you for reconciling the world to yourself, and now we have the ministry of reconciliation, to share this glorious truth with others, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

1 John 4:9-10; In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.

2 Corinthians 5:21; For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Galatians 2:20; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

*THE WORD IN FLESH*

Monday, December 16th .
Pastor Chris

_*And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).*_

In one of our previous studies, I explained to you that Jesus is the Son of God—God in human flesh! The Bible shows us something more about who He is in John 1:1. It says, _*"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."*_ The 14th verse says, _*"...the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us...."*_ But a more accurate rendering is "the Word became flesh"; Jesus Christ is the Word of God become flesh.

It's easy to accept that Jesus is the living Word, the Word become flesh, but do you know that the same is true about you? The Bible says: _*"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever"*_ (1 Peter 1:23). You were born again by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever.

Think about it: Jesus Christ is the Logos of God, the Word of God, become flesh. Now, that same Word that became flesh gave birth to you. That makes you God's Word in flesh. Paul understood this and called us the epistles of Christ—the words of Christ: _*"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart"*_ (2 Corinthians 3:3).

Then he points out something extraordinary in the 18th verse: _*"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord"*_ (2 Corinthians 3:18). He says as you reflect on God's Word, as you ponder and meditate on it, you see yourself—as the reflection of God's glory, for you're the offspring of the Word. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that has given birth to me; now I have and live the life of the Word. I'm influenced and transformed by your Word to live the glory-life. I walk in the consciousness of this truth as I manifest your righteousness, wisdom, grace and truth in my daily life. Thank you for this divine life that I have in Christ Jesus. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *2 Corinthians 3:2-3* Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 [Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. *||*

The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. *||*

*WE LIVE TO PRAISE*

Sunday, December 15th .
Pastor Chris

_*Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright (Psalm 33:1).*_

The Bible says, "Praise is comely for the upright." This is wonderful. It means that praise is consistent with, or befitting to, the custom of our Kingdom. We live to praise. No wonder the Bible says, _*"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you"*_ (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Now, "Praise is comely" also means that praise is beautiful. The New King James Version says, _*"Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful."*_ In fact, The Passion Translation says, _*"...Praise him with all you have, for praise looks lovely on the lips of God's lovers."*_

This means that God loves to receive our praise. When we praise Him, we actually position ourselves where we ought to be as a people of praise: _*"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"*_ (1 Peter 2:9). We're called to show forth His praise.

The meaning of praise according to the Scriptures is the offering of thanks through our lips: _*"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name"*_ (Hebrews 13:15). That means we see His goodness in the things that happen in and around us, and in our world, and for that we praise Him lavishly.

God intended that our whole life would be full of praise. You were created for His praise. When we express our praise to Him, sometimes it's with deep emotions, and at other times it's with an effulgence of joy that others may not see. But God sees it all; we do these in the light of the Spirit and in the place of His holiness. In such an atmosphere of praise, you're conscious of His love because in His presence is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures evermore (Psalm 16:11). Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*

*Heavenly Father, I worship and adore you for your great love, your faithfulness, kindness and tender mercies. How gracious you are, for you've filled the earth with your goodness; you've blessed the nations and their peoples, causing your grace for salvation to appear unto all. Unto you be honour and everlasting power and dominion, forever, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Hebrews 13:15* By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name. *||*

*||* *Psalm 33:1-4 TPT* It’s time to sing and shout for joy! Go ahead, all you redeemed ones, do it! Praise him with all you have, for praise looks lovely on the lips of God’s devoted lovers. *LIFE AND IMMORTALITY UNVEILED*

_But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel_ *(2 Timothy 1:10)*

What we just read in our opening scripture is extraordinary. There's no better way to explain it than how it’s already stated. The message is very clear: Christ has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. The Church has to come to the knowledge and profundity of this truth.

Now that you’re born again, you’ve passed from death to life; you’re in the place of immortality—deathlessness: *“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life”* (John 5:24). You have the transcendent life—the overcoming life that makes you superior to Satan, darkness, disease, sickness, failure, defeat, and death.

Now, if this is true, and thank God it is, why are there still so many in the Church today struggling with their health and being buffeted by the elements of this world? The reason is their lack of understanding, consciousness and knowledge of this truth. God said in Hosea 4:6, *“My people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge.”*

It brings to mind the lamentation of the psalmist, Asaph in Psalm 82:5-7, *“They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”* How sad! Being born again, you’re a god because you’re born of God; therefore, you have the God-life! That life isn’t subject to sickness; it’s death-proof and disease-proof! This is the truth, and unless you accept this reality, you’ll never live it.

This is what Jesus came to accomplish for us, and He fulfilled it. He *“finished”* the work. On the Cross, before He died, He said, *“It is finished”;* in other words, mission accomplished; death is abolished; life and immortality are now unveiled! The Bible says, *“But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God”* (Hebrews 10:12). Glory to God!

He made life and immortality available through the Gospel and sat down at the right hand of God. Now the Bibles says whosoever believes in Him has everlasting life (John 3:16). Having believed, you have life and immortality. Blessed be God!

*CONFESSION*

_I was born into the realm of life and immortality; I have passed from death to life. I have the transcendent life—the overcoming life—that makes me superior to Satan, darkness, disease, sickness, failure, defeat and death: a life that’s beyond this world! I reign gloriously over circumstances and live triumphantly every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*John 11:25-26* Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: *26* And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

*Romans 8:10-11* And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. *11* But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

*1 Corinthians 15:53-57* For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. *54* So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. *55* O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? *56* The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. *57* But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
