Politics › Re: Why Do Obidients Hate Akpabio? by Good2go1: 5:34pm On Mar 02, 2025 |
Typical yoruba Muslim write up ChiefJusticeFuc: Since 1999 and the return to democracy, the NASS has the lowest approval ratings by Nigerians owing to their jumbo pay allocations, budget padding fiasco and other selfish acts by its members that have seen to the NASS being perceived as self serving .
But for some reason Akpabio has suffered the most hate from the obidient mob.
All this started when Akpabio emerged as SP.
The tribalistic obidient mob were rooting for a northerner to be SP with Orji Kalu as DSP. But when Akpabio beat them to occupy the SP position , this did not sit well with the tribal mob in the obidient camp .
Since then they have been relentlessly attacking Akpabio.
This is same Akpabio whose tenure as governor of Akwa Ibom is unmatched by any politician since independence.
They however see Akpabio as incompetent to occupy the SP position.
I wonder how Akpabio with his unprecedented transformation tenure as governor of Akwa Ibom which Akpabio transformed to one of the best states in Nigeria is incompetent. Akpabio did not just lead the way in infrastructural transformation of one of the most underdeveloped states in the polity but he also carried out social engineering that saw to Akwa Ibom indigenes holding their heads high today.
Note that the obidient Messiah was once a governor and his tenure was adjudged by same obidient mob members to be one of the worst at the time. But today , a failed governor is their Messiah and a tested and proven public official is a failure.
I will say it here that the reasons they hate Akpabio is because he dashed all hopes of an Ibo emerging as Deputy Senate President and because Akpabio did not align with their Agulu fraud package.
One thing is sure and that is Akwa Ibom people hold reverence towards Akpabio and seeing how obidients are leading the attacks on him based on their tribalistic agenda that no SS person should overtake an Ibo, they will reward you obidient attacks on their son come 2027.
When I said very early in the obidient mob emergence , that the mob will do more harm than good to Obi's chances , this is what I meant.
The few gullible Yoruba liberals are no longer supporting Obi.
Edo peeps are withdrawing fast from obidient camp after all the online war instigated by IPOB cretins on Bini and Edo people .
SS peeps are no fools either and the attacks on the coastal highway project spearheaded by Peter Obi and now the attack on Akpabio are pointers that 2027 won't be a repeat of 2023 .
FYI, most non ibo southerners who voted obi were tired of the APC and voted obi in protest .
But the way IPOB hijacked obi's campaign and presidential bid has now made it a very toxic option. |

I have been using Samsung inverter fridge since 2013 without any issue .it came with 10years warranty and it has lasted beyond the warranty period donareal: Does anyone here have experience using an inverter deep freezer or fridge? I know it's a relatively new technology in Nigeria, so not many people have used it yet.
I’m considering buying one, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. While it consumes less power than regular freezers, some say it doesn’t last as long and can be difficult to repair when damaged.
Most importantly, how is the cooling like. Does it stay cooled for long after power outage? If you’ve used one or know someone who has, please share your experience. I’d really appreciate your insights.
Thanks! |

Truly agbo has destroyed sense of reasoning in many Yorubas simpleseyi: The North needs Tinubu, Tinubu doesn’t need the North.
The North didn’t make Tinubu the President, instead, Tinubu made their dullard don Mumumodu Buhari the President when he was crying all over the country after three consecutive losses, and Tinubu said this at the market square that he made Abuja President and that he is the next President whether the North likes it or not.
If the North has such powers that your slave mind think the North has, the North would have made their crying son the President instead if his three failures. Check the records, even Goatluck went to beg Tinubu to help him to be President, and Goatluck paid Tinubu back with many oil wells. That’s why despite the fact that the oil wells are on your land, you are slaving in Kagos while Tinubu is exploring your crude oil.
Also Yar’Adua begged Tinubu to help him to be President, that was why Yar’Adua released the Lagos money that Obasanjo withheld to Tinubu’s boy Fashola. Tinubu is the god of Politics who has been installing Presidents since after Obasanjo. Tinubu is the Kingmaker that made himself King. |

Politics › Re: I Asked Deepseek Ai To Calculate What Should Be Nigerian Minimum Wage Today by Good2go1: 8:49pm On Jan 28, 2025 |
Nice exercise! But minimum wage as at 2009 was 9775 and not 30k jimi4us: To estimate what the minimum wage in Nigeria should be today (2025), we need to account for inflation from 2009 to 2025. Inflation reduces the purchasing power of money over time, so the minimum wage should increase to maintain the same standard of living.
---
Step 1: Gather Inflation Data In Nigeria, inflation rates have varied over the years. For simplicity, let's assume an **average annual inflation rate of 12%** from 2009 to 2025. This is a reasonable estimate based on historical inflation trends in Nigeria.
--- Step 2: Calculate the Number of Years From 2009 to 2025 is **16 years**.
---
Step 3: Use the Inflation Formula The formula to calculate the future value of money considering inflation is:
{Future Value} = {Present Value} \times (1 + {Inflation Rate} {Number of Years}} \]
Plugging in the numbers:
{Future Value} = 30,000 \times (1 + 0.12)^{16} \]
--- Step 4: Calculate the Exponent First, calculate \( (1 + 0.12)^{16} \):
\[ (1.12)^{16} \approx 6.13 \]
--- Step 5: Calculate the Future Value Now, multiply by the original amount:
{Future Value} = 30,000 \times 6.13 \approx 183,900 { Naira} \]
---
Conclusion If the minimum wage in 2009 was ₦30,000 Naira, and assuming an average annual inflation rate of **12%**, the minimum wage in 2025 should be approximately ₦183,900 Naira** to maintain the same purchasing power. |

Osun state court orders woman to pay N150,000 to boyfriend for failing to visit him after receiving N3,000 transport fare alexa.ngJan 27, 2025 7:13 PM A Magistrate Court sitting in Ilesa, Osun State, has ordered a woman, Rhoda Adu, to pay N150,000 to her boyfriend, Olapitan Sola, for failing to honour a promise to visit him. The dispute arose after Rhoda, who had requested N3,000 for transportation, agreed to visit Sola. However, she failed to show up on the agreed date, causing significant emotional distress to Sola, who had been eagerly waiting for her. Sola, feeling disappointed and frustrated by Rhoda’s actions, reported the matter to the police after she switched off her phone and did not arrive as promised. Rhoda had received the N3,000 from Sola but did not fulfil her end of the agreement. The incident was reported to the Ayeso Police Station, leading to Rhoda’s arrest and subsequent charge in the Magistrate Court. During the trial, Sola presented evidence, including mobile money transfer receipts and WhatsApp messages between the two, which supported his claims. Magistrate Akogun Oludare ruled that Rhoda must repay the N3,000 transport fare, as well as an additional N100,000 for breach of agreement and N50,000 for emotional distress caused by her failure to show up. The court stressed that the judgment was intended to serve as a warning against similar actions in the future. Source: https://www.alexa.ng/2025/01/osun-state-court-orders-woman-to-pay.html |

Truly, you are the one that's bias here. flokii: The veteran is obviously speaking from an angle of bias.. one sided revolution in a multi-ethnic nation like Nigeria is no revolution atal but ethnic cleansing.. What happened on 15 January 1966 was more of an ethnic cleansing of top leaders to pave way for a particular ethnic group to take power which they did.
Same thing was almost repeated when Igbo youths in Lagos and other South West States started running around looking for who to maim under guise of 'revolution now', whereas they kept their own South East safe and protest free. Sane Yorubas had to quickly raise the alarm before they ran off the streets.
When you think you're too wise and smart, you'll end up commiting blunder that will have catastrophic effect on the populace. Why were the Igbos living in the North rejoicing after gruesome murder of Sarduana Ahmadu Bello by Nzeogwu?, why were they using statements like "goats are crying" and other provocative slurs?. Shows they were happy and had an hidden agenda to enslave the North and other parts of Nigeria.. Just being honest here. It means Igbos never saw others especially North as brothers and fellow countrymen right from the beginning. |
