I am tired and depressed about my lifestyle, I have done everything possible to quit but I wasn't able to quit because I lack the courage to let go of my old way of living even though I became a Christian after I left the street, yet I keep reminiscing the pleasure I had when I was betting and dealing in selling of weeds, cigar & all sorts of hard drinks to earn a living at a tender age of 14yrs when I should enjoy proper upbringing but my parents faced a lot of crisis that tore the home apart.
I was able to stop drinking and betting but I find it difficult to quit the listed
1. Masturbation
2. Selfishness
3. Stealing
4. Reckless spending
5. Sex Addiction
6. No Ambition
7. Fornication
I regret my old lifestyle because people see me as a good guy. After all, I am now an IT guy doing well in my career, but my mind was full of evil, betrayal, and sleeping with other guys' wives and the last I did recently was chasing after my childhood friend's ex. I never had a true relationship throughout my life because all I do is get ladies' attention with money and I realized that all my ex only fell in love with me because of my money & not because they wanted me.
I hereby make a life decision to quit my old lifestyle because it's killing my potential of becoming a tech entrepreneur and I keep having sleepless nights & bad moods throughout the day because I am not happy with myself. Today I am ready to make peace with Christ my savior so that I can have peace and eternity. I pray that I will have forgiveness from man and God.
