He truly gave his youth to the nation. He and other officers risked their lives defending the unity of Nigeria. It is quite understandable why he told the youth corps members from the East to forget about Biafra. But as one of those who took active part in the war, he should desist from actions and utterances that make people from that part nostalgic for the defunct country. He should also etch his name on every heart by restructuring the country to allow for an enduring peace in Nigeria. Nigeria will continue to be haunted by the spectre of civil war as long as injustice remains.

Poor jonathan by the way He's now the excuse of everybody that is wanted by the security agencies for corruption or criminal activities. Tompolo, Deziani, Dasuki, Obanikoro, FFK and lots more are all running away from justice just to protect poor Jonathan. This is what you get when a weak and clueless person becomes the president of a big country like Nigeria. Criminals like Tompolo will continue to take advantage of him in and out of office.
