Nigerian scammers, though might be stupid, they are also creative. They create an account mostly at sites offering mutiple domains. They use names associated with paypal, bidpay, moneygram, etc. So they'll mail you through that account, making you think the message is from paypal and alike. In most cases, they will tell you this:

YOUR BUYER JUST MADE OF PAYMENT OF $$$.$$ FOR YOUR ITEM.  YOUR MONEY WILL NOT GET TO YOU UNTIL YOU SEND US THE SHIPMENT TRACKING NUMBER FOR VERIFICATION.
