I was not harsh in my reaction rather it was he that was rude wen he was asking d question "wat ur source,and hw sure are u" as if I made up d story. My point is that we don't listen to news and majority of us don't care to gather info. For example if u sat for dis last post utme in ikire campus u will know what I am saying. Believe me you people were sweating over these simple questions. Candidates started asking one another for right option. Imagine! It is because they don't get information. These re simple questions and if u re welled informed it will not take u two seconds to provide the right option. And most of d candidates failed woefully. Yet when u give right info, some will still come and ask "where did u get it from" on dat post utme day a candidate asked me what wad d right option to question (2) above and I told her it was Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, guess what? She started laughing at me telling me to get serious now, u can imagine.
The JAMB registrar's statement that I quoted was on july 5th the day JAMB officially announced JAMB results.
So my fellow let's always get informed. Information of many years can be relevent today. History students understand what I am saying

When give info, some ppl will start to question u. We need to grow up and drop this primary sch mentality.some body asked question abt JAMB to sch admission deadline and I answered him/her even quoting JAMB registrar, pls marry ur english well

According to Ojerinde, the board and NUC had to deal with the problem of admission of excess students for which the Federal Government was often pushed into a tight corner.

He also warned the institutions to stick to the deadline of October 31 for admission of students and cautioned that any student admitted outside the deadline would not graduate from the institutions.

“I wish to remind you formally that all admissions will come to an end by October 31. All institutions are hereby called upon to adhere strictly to this date as late submissions will not be entertained.

“We have discovered that some universities and other institutions comply with admission deadline, while some others do not comply and up till date they are still admitting students.”

Ojerinde also reminded the institutions of the mandatory guidelines on admission, pegging criteria for merit at 45 percent, catchment area, 35 and educationally less-developed states, ELDS, 20 for Federal Government-owned institutions.

For state-owned institutions, merit was put at 40 percent, catchment 40 and ELDS 20.

Yes u re right JAMB gave all schools 31th OCT for they to submit all d names of d candidates that re offered admission and that was why U I had to conduct their post UTME last weekend. So every lists ought to be out by month end

The President says he does not control the resources of the states and wondered why lecturers in state universities are on strike over a matter that has to do with the centre.ASUU should consider the sincerity in government and realise his government is not ready to close down other departments of government in other to solve the problems overnight.
Jonathan alleges that some of the government officials that negotiated 2009 agreement with ASUU were not competent and asks for a holistic resolution of the problem in the universities.The president says there are certain things in the 2009 agreement with ASUU that are difficult to implement. “This particular issue is beyond the 2009 agreement.”Jonathan alleges that politics has crept into ASUU’s strike and demands.
 We can’t change the problems in the university overnight. We are using funds from other agencies to intervene in the problems in the tertiary institutions. Government is taking inventories in the universities, photographs and video clips. He says his administration is first to do that.ASUU strike is very unfortunate, Jonathan says of the ongoing strike. He says his administration has set up a technical committee to audit the situation in the universities

Good morning my fellow nairalander, how many of u watched and listened to MR President on Presidential Media Chat yester night on AIT,CHANNELS and NTA, he said ,
That FG has released 100bn naira intervention fund to ASUU! That ASUU should go back to work and that 400bn can't be released at once. It will be released bit by bit.
Another point he raised was that why would states own universities join ASUU on strike? That states own and fund their own university(-ies) not FG. That the federal govt has nothing to do with state universities.
So my ppl every thing is in ASUU turn to respond and state own university to go back to class room because they got no business with federal govt

If u chose uniosun as 2nd choice pray hard for. Ur adm because most of nigeria university do not consider 2nd candidates most of d time. So work on ur adm, get connected to ppl who can help u. You can sit down just like that because they were when u pick another ahead of them so they consider 1st choice before looking ur side

100% sure just make ur o'level rst re complete because if not u will lose ur admission. Make sure u find out d fee schedule/ structure and pay on time. In d absence of any response from u within reasonable time,the institution to which u have been admitted will assume dat u re not interested in d offer and may proceed to fill ur place. tollymax: same here I got 199 in my jamb and 52.9 in the putme though I did changing of institution. uniosun first choice (English/Intl studies also an indigene)and no admission on jamb site yet. but changing of institution shouldn't be a problem since it was sold by jamb. lets just hope that something good will happen with GOD.

I became scared because I don't know anybody so I decided to leave things to God, when these runs of a thing continued I began to have doubts, I was introduced to a man who asked me to pay 50k then I asked him not to bother any more. Two days later I checked JAMB website lo and behold I had been offered admission!!!! And somebody in dis nairaland was still telling me I should not rejoice yet that until I see my name on uniosun list, imagine these kill joy pls stop discouraging people instead encourage them and give people words of hope. Those of u who re still expecting admission may God grant u admission

Some people in this naira land forum are fond of creating fear into aspirants e.g I cud rememeber b4 d post utme Exam were told we need to score high,that d exam questions re difficult to pass, that we need to buy d past question and that questions are always repeated. Gaskiya all these really created fear in me. I made sure I bought d past question,though non of d questions were repeated but it really gingered me to read wide which was d beauty of d whole shouting and lamentation. Now I scored above 50% and so many scored 60 and above. They came out again and said no matter our scores even if it is 70 we long legs, connections, runs, so many accolade
