Some do it to avoid spammers, but majority of cases here on Nairaland have been shown to be used by scammers. During the early days of Nairaland everyone used there phone numbers here without fear of spammers, but as time went on scammers started flooding the forum. A mod created a thread and all scam reports were entered with their phone numbers and bank details that were used for the scam. Since most scammers have used their personal lines for scam before they started entering spacing in the numbers to spoof the search engine and avoid detection.
Oh! Thank you for the explanations.

SUPERPACK:
Please guys, before you make a deal with anyone on this thread pls check their numbers, once you see gaps in them be extra cautious. Always search the number using Nairaland search option, remove any space in the numbers to aid the search.

@dilicond is still posting his ads as we speak and has no reply to issues raised. I won't be happy to hear that someone is scammed here.

@mynd44 @Dominique
Is that why spaces are added to numbers? I always thought it was to dissuade spammers.

Some things are just expensive to ship. Like shoes and clothes. I don't really know why though. Your best bet is to buy those things here.

It's not much, it's very cheap considering a lot of factors....
1 their rate is one of the cheapest (they use Aboki rate)
2 reliability, they have been around for quiet a while.
3 their cc is top notch, they serve and respond to you as if their life depends on it.
4 the 4 usd is just once till the card expires (3 yrs validity), paying 4usd for a card u would use for 3 yrs is not bad.
5 I'm not their agent ooo
You are not their agent but you quoted yourself just to earn referral bonus.

Although grey is currently relatively better than Chipper cash, Klasha and the rest, they also charge a fee to convert your naira to dollar.

Yes they are, from observation! The reason being that Choice items have taken over completely. Therefore, Unless it's items grouped under Choice deal, one might find it difficult locating any with free delivery.
Na wa o. As choice items can't get full refunds only, they pigeonholing us.

I don't have any idea. If there's an app that can receive dollars which can be used to make purchases on AliExpress, I'd be happy to sign up with them.
I'll send my USDT to those guys who trade dollars on Binance P2P and they will send the USD to the app. I'll then use their virtual card on AliExpress.
You simply need a virtual card app that allows crypto funding. You don't need the p2p guys on Binance, just generate your deposit address for the Usdt in your virtual card app, then withdraw or send it to the deposit address. You can then use it to Fund your card and make payment.

Some of the apps are Cardify, Bitnob, etc.

For the sake of withdrawal fees on Binance, you use bsc.

You've really hit the nail on the head! How impatient people could be!
For instance, Is it not too early to even start testing Banks' naira debit card on AliExpress when there was no official announcement from those banks indicating that their cards are now provisioned to work on such platform?
People need to calm down!
No. Not early. Some banks don't even do any announcement at all. Na we dey test do free pr for them. Even as at last month, I was still testing my Stanbic bank card to see if it would work. Na 9ja be this, things no just normal. grin

That's true of Binance, but bitmama usdt on p2p is 780 as at now.
So how did Klasha jump to 813

It's as a result of the naira floating. Even on Binance, the rates are very high now, even higher than those of some fintech.
Binance is still at 790 which is like the general rate. How they take reach 813?

Damn, Klasha na thieves

But Nigerians will still patronize them, making them more richer
Actually, they are one of the cheapest. Chippercash and rest had long increased before now. And the market rate is actually higher than their own rate.

It is hard to blame these guys sometimes, it is not like they print their own dollar.

I know this is unrelated to this thread but please I need your help,
Would you advise me to buy a laptop from Jiji or jumia, jumia don't give option to chat with seller, can one dispute any transaction on jumia like AliExpress if the transaction does not go well, I would have ordered from AliExpress but, no be me customs go use build house
Most sellers on Jumia are on Jiji too. You just have to pick the one you like. I personally prefer Jiji as i can have a direct communication with the seller. Overall, it is about choice. Just don't pay any money first on Jiji, except the sellers gives you reasons beyond doubt to pay first.

Business / Hot Trick- Use Nairaland To Find Hot Products To Sell. by Goodnuel: 1:54am On Jun 22, 2023
Nairaland is still the best search engine in Nigeria and for Nigerians. But not a lot of people know this.

I use Nairaland to find hot physical products that people are eager to buy in Nigeria.

I recorded a free 15-minute video to show you how to do this.

If you check the link below, you will find this video.

PSA:
Since Gotok is gone (RIP), no other service open to residents in Nigeria allows funding card with crypto. But I'm using Grey Finance now.

If you're a remote worker, you can even create a full US or Euro bank account on it free.

Anyway, creating a virtual card costs $5 in total ($4 fee + $1 stays back on your card). Rate was ₦770 and it works fine across the board.

Optional Referral: 🤲🏻 Use my code XVYVQE to sign up and create a free, foreign bank account on Grey. Get the app https://greyapp.page/v6QM3r888sZJt82GA
The rate is not #770. You have to convert it, and there are fees for the conversion.
See the conversion here. This is more than 790 already.

Does the pink work on AliExpress? I'm asking because It's started that it's black one that is ideal for AliExpress.
Yes. It's a dollar card. It will work on any platform that accepts dollar payment, unless they don't accept payments from prepaid cards.

Bwltech:
Please I need a guide on how to shop on AliExpress
Just download the app, register with your correct info.

Inside the app, search for what you are looking for, you can search by text or picture.

When the result comes up, filter according to what you want. Then, go through the seller rating, the product reviews, and make sure that the product matches what you are looking for.

You can message the seller to ask them about anything you have doubt about.

Take your time, and go through different products and stores, compare the prices, quality and reviews.

Look out for reviews from fellow Nigerians who bought from the store, and product, if any.

Once you are satisfied, then add the product to your cart, then proceed to pay.

To pay, you currently need to have a dollar card... Add the payment method, and put your address for the shipping.

Then, wait for delivery.

This is basically all you need to do.

You will get a tracking code after the seller ships your product, and you can track the movement through the app itself or the shipping company's website.

If you run into any issues, you can ask here.

I hope this helps you.

Cheers.
