Omo_Tier1: Remember your antecedent on NL is well known as a wannabe wink Several of your post relating to similar topic has exposed you as a simpleton that should swallow His pride and go educate Himself. In any case, glorified clowns like you currently take reign in the country, so why won't such companies take the country for a ride? Imagine someone like you being a member of the technical team of the President, how on earth will a toothpick company like ANITA not find its way into Nigeria huh

ifegy: Em, quote from the wsj blog linked above is as follows:

"According to a forecast statement from South Africa’s Standard Bank, Africa’s largest bank, investment from China into Africa is likely to hit $50 billion by 2015, up 70% from 2009."

Not quite sure how that forecast $50 billion investment for the whole of Africa by 2015 ties in with the proposed $100 billion investment in just one country currently being discussed.
Guy try and use your brain a little. Even in the world of serious research, such database you quoted is highly irrelevant.
How much of Chinese FDI do you know about? Most of chinas investments are highly classified and the best researchers do is to speculate. Do you know anything about their SWF and how their companies make their investments through it.

Dont come to a public forum and display your foolishness

Billyonaire: I have no response for financial handicaps with zero business acumen. I can swear with 100% assurances that you have never been involved in any joint ventures or even written a business plan in your life. I know how this works, and I am telling with 100% certainty that 'Technical Partners' in any "Joint Ventures or Equity Partnership" do not need Proof of Funds or liquidity. The Financing partners and the banks have duty in providing funding whenever the project is approved. Go and sit down, poor rabbit. You are talking to one greatest minds in business profiteering.

PoliticsSocial Media Critics Should “fear God”, Information Minister, Maku Says- by Gooogle(op): 1:47pm On Apr 24, 2013
By Sani Tukur
The minister claimed critics were using social media to slander Nigerian officials.

The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, has called on people he said use social media to ‘slander’ the government, to search their conscience and stop the practice.

Mr. Maku, who spoke via his Press Secretary, Joseph Mutah, in a release on Tuesday, was reacting to a publication he said appeared on an online medium.
The minister described as false the story that the First Lady, Patience Jonathan, was interfering in some appointments in the Federal Ministry of Information and parastatals under the Ministry’s supervision.

“It is absolutely false the report which attempted to connect the First Lady, Dame Dr. Patience Goodluck Jonathan to issues of appointment in the Federal Ministry of Information,” he said, adding that, “the report is false and malicious”.

Mr. Mutah therefore, “urged those peddling this slander and similar slanders in the social media to search their conscience and redeem themselves from the path of destruction they have subjected our society to.”

He said the media report surrounding the first lady is “a cocktail of lies and the handiwork of vicious characters that specialize in tarnishing the good reputation of decent people and leaders in the society”.

He also said the report shows how very low some people can go in abusing the reputation of the social media in Nigeria.
“They offer fiction and slander freely to the public without conscience. They neither respect the laws of the land nor fear God. They continue to destroy the well-earned reputation of worthy citizens and leaders for selfish reasons.

“They should leave this ignoble task and embrace God and decency for the good of themselves and the society,” he said.

PoliticsRe: Lagos To Fine Drivers Without LASDRI Licence by Gooogle(m): 4:37pm On Apr 17, 2013
If not for the economic situation, the drivers license thing should be reviewed.
To get a drivers license in some european countries and even the US is not childs play and the amount
of fees you even pay is somethng else.A country charges an equivalent of 250k in naira for this with examinations etc.
The ultimate reason for this is all about safety and good to know, it starts with the big companies.
They should abeg pay
