Exod.21.22 - "Now suppose two people are fighting, and in the process, they hurt a pregnant woman so her child is born prematurely. If no further harm results, then the person responsible must pay damages in the amount the woman's husband demands and the judges approve.


God frees slaves and prisoners yet they both still exist.

The Christian Bible and God consistently extole the virtue of slavery and in fact advocates for it constantly. Like I said earlier instead of using the first three commandments to emphasise self,the Christian God could have simply condemned slavery.

Check the title of the thread. This thread is based on the commandments in Exodus and not the entire Mosaic laws. You have still not provided a source that proves these commandments were not from God to Moses and that they were stolen from Babylonian moral laws.

It is a terms for an agreement. Once you agree to these terms you will come under the broad love and protection of God Almighty. These are very simple moral codes to follow.
