The Ruben Amorim years were an unmitigated disaster for United. Amorim was an arrogant technically deficient manager who glorified losing football games. He successfully gaslighted certain sections of the fan base to believe the fault was with the players and not his terrible tactics. Amorim made losing games seem normal. He made Manchester United fans feel being involved in a relegation battle was normal. In fact some of the axis of evil on this thread whom I call the evil coven,were even justifying the fact that it would be GOOD if Manchester United was relegated,so that Amorim could start afresh. It was this mental!
They made so many excuses for the incompetence of Amorim.
It is ironic that this same coven are the ones opposed to the success of Michael Carrick because he is getting a tune out of the players that their tin god Amorim labelled as USELESS players.

Carrick does not have any magic wand except his man management and playing each player in their best positions. This is what upsets Amorim's supporters. The are anticipating the failure of Carrick so that they can jump on the USELESS players again. This is why they keep comparing Carrick to Solksjaer. Their point is that because Solksjaer failed therefore Carrick will fail. Just imagine the thought process of these kind of toxic fans.
