•If he wins the CL this season, he might have nothing to look forward to again in the BuLi.

•I think his contract also ends next season when he would be 33.

•He is also British. One last "adventure" at Top level with Family and Friends in close proximity as he plans for retirement, might also appeal to him.

While he might be young, it is also worthy of note that this fella has already amassed about 180 games of Senior football at club level.

The main issue here is that he has stagnated terribly and the more worrisome aspect is that his body language doesn't cut across as someone interested in improving on his deficiencies.

His move to Chelsea has also been counter-productive IMO because it appears he thinks the switch between 2 top clubs is a testament to his "exemplary" qualities.

Perhaps we also played a role in his stunted growth. I think we should have loaned him out to a lesser club in a bid to accelerate his development but again, he also appeared to be one of our best options at some point - an indication of how bad things were at OT in recent years.

I lowkey thought that he probably needed a new environment but with what I have seen recently, the boy isn't serious.
