Everyone has a. Opinion. The issue I have is a group of dullards trying to bully others from expression of opinion in a condescending and hypocritical way. They can have and express their flip flopping, and hypocritical opinions but they will not be allowed to shut down contrary opinions.
Until they learn tolerance and acceptance of contrary views especially as it pertains to the disastrous Ruben Amorim's tenure as manager then there will be no peace on this thread.
Just keep praying that Michael Carrick fails to win the next match so that you can scurry out of your bilges to spread your arrogant ignorance and blame the USELESS players and try to gaslight true fans to think Ruben Amorim was a tactical genius. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Goosethetruth(m): 6:31am On Apr 22
The real fans of Manchester United are the fans that opposed Ruben Amorim and the chasm and dangerous Valley of disaster he was leading the club to. The flip floppers will have you believe that Cunha,Dorgu,Sesko,Lammens and Mbuemo were Amorim's signings, when in actual sense he was opposed to the signing of these players and these players were only signed because INEOS put their feet down and over ruled the fraud.

There is no way to sugar coat it. Ruben Amorim was an absolute disaster of a coach and you only need to cast a glance across to the East Midlands of the UK to see what would have been the end result if he has been allowed to continue being in charge. In 2016 Lecister City were Premier league champions. In fact in 2021 Leicester City won the FA Cup by defeating Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley stadium. ON APRIL 21ST 2026 LEICESTER CITY WERE RELEGATED FROM THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND INTO THE THIRD TIER OF ENGLISH FOOTBALL!

That is how fast things can go horribly wrong under the wrong management! 2016 champions of England and 10 years later they are in League one. Who knows where they will stop, because once you crash through the relegation trap door if the club is not careful the only way to go is DOWN!!!

As much as I have the utmost respect for what most of these legends of the game achieved as FOOTBALLERS,i draw a deep line at their competence as PUNDITS,FOOTBALL COACHES or FOOTBALL MANAGERS.
These were the same legends that were loudly SILENT when Ruben Amorim was almost sending this team to relegation last season. When Ruben Amorim was playing 9(NINE) defenders against Wolves none of these legends spoke out that this was not the United way. Ruben Amorim in all his time at United NEVER once attended any U18 or U21 team games to assess the future players of the club, rather he wanted to rip out the soul of the club which is the youth teams by selling off young players like Garnacho . Kobbie Maino would have definitely been sold off if Amorim was still in charge. None of these legends said a word in support of the accademy players that Amorim was violently abusing.
To that numpty up there creeping out to gaslight and then scurry back into the shadows,no it is not Artificial intelligence,in fact here is the full interview with Ryan Giggs on Rio's podcast. The fact it is not AI does not make what he is saying in hind sight the truth.

•If he wins the CL this season, he might have nothing to look forward to again in the BuLi.

•I think his contract also ends next season when he would be 33.

•He is also British. One last "adventure" at Top level with Family and Friends in close proximity as he plans for retirement, might also appeal to him.

At the right price , he would be a fantastic addition to our squad.
Is he as old or older than Harry Maguire, whose contract renewal has some fans up in arms?? grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Goosethetruth(m): 2:56pm On Apr 20
Been talking about the way referee's/VAR in England, especially in the Premier league interpret the rules of the game.

In last evenings Manchester City versus Arsenal game ; After a coming together of two players contestimg for the ball,Gabriel Magalhaes(Arsenal) clearly moves his head violently towards the face of Erling Haaland(Manchester city) in an attempt to head butt.
Referee decision: Yellow card to Gabriel and yellow card to Haaland.

NOW JUXTAPOSE this ref/VAR decision during the Manchester United versus Leeds game a week earlier.

Situation; Lisandro Martinez(Manchester United) a defender, had a coming together with Dominic Calvert-Lewin(Leeds United) and while the duo were jostling and contesting for the ball, Lisandro Martinez touches Calvert-Lewin's man bun briefly and let's go almost immediately.

Referee decision; Straight RED CARD to Martinez for VIOLENT CONDUCT,and missing of the next match. No card was issued to Calvert-Lewin In this incident.

Apparently, the Referees in the Premier league interpret the laws by the sleight of hand. There is an obvious attempt to interpret off the cuff as the season goes along or maybe there is a new meaning of VIOLENT CONDUCT!⁸

While he might be young, it is also worthy of note that this fella has already amassed about 180 games of Senior football at club level.

The main issue here is that he has stagnated terribly and the more worrisome aspect is that his body language doesn't cut across as someone interested in improving on his deficiencies.

His move to Chelsea has also been counter-productive IMO because it appears he thinks the switch between 2 top clubs is a testament to his "exemplary" qualities.

Perhaps we also played a role in his stunted growth. I think we should have loaned him out to a lesser club in a bid to accelerate his development but again, he also appeared to be one of our best options at some point - an indication of how bad things were at OT in recent years.
I totally agree that Garnacho is a young veteran, however that does not remove the fact that he is still a kid. What fans need to do is to put ourselves in these players position and ask ourselves how developed we were at their ages in our professional life? Probably making mistakes and still finding our feet.

Young players will always be young players and are still learning their trade on the go. They have different developmental stages as such the development of such players are prone to ups and downs except rare talents like Messi,Ronaldo,Pele and probably Maradona.
When we see young developing players like Garnacho,Yoro,Dowman,Yamal,Doue, and others of their age thrown into the deep end of the cut throat swimming pool that is the brutal world of professional football,we need to take it easy with them because they are prone to different levels of mistakes and poor judgement.
Like I said,in Garnacho there is a potential good player who has lost his way. However to think he will be finished by age 28 is a bit far fetched. He is too good a player for that. Injuries baring,if he fails at Chelsea,he will probably make it at another club maybe in a Spanish country. An example is Ademola Lookman, who in England looked lost but is now about to play in a Champions league semi final.

At this rate, he would end up in the championship in 3-4 years Max.

I lowkey thought that he probably needed a new environment but with what I have seen recently, the boy isn't serious.

I wouldnt be suprised if he retires by age 28. It seems his mind is no longer focused on football.
C'mon, we forget Garnacho is still a young kid,and kids will always behave like kids. I believe Garnacho will improve and become a better player,if not at Chelsea probably somewhere else. There is a lot of potential in that player. The simple fact is that yesterday Chelsea played into Uniteds tactics which were to keep/ restrict Chelsea play to the wings with Garnacho and Neto where Dalot and Shaw were able to easily prevent the crosses from getting through to Palmer and Delap.

We should have patience with young players, because their development is at times mixed. Garnacho is a good player.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Goosethetruth(m):
As usual the atrocious refereeing decisions in the Leeds game and the Bournmouth games are conveniently ignored and forgotten while the USELESS players are to be blamed.
As some one already asserted earlier, without that soft red card issued by the ref,United would have won that game.
Against Bournmouth two stone cold penalties were waved away by the silly ref. Who knows what the ref at Chelsea on Saturday is going to perform?
These ref issues do not matter as long as the USELESS players are availiable to be scape goated for any problems that occur on the field.
The players in this team are good enough to qualify for Europe,I don't care what anyone says. With a good transfer window and managerial stability this team will challenge for the league and Champions league.
Watching the quater finals of this years Champions league fills me with so much confidence that with one or two transfer windows and managerial stability,Manchester United can and will challenge for titles going forward.

You can blame Carrick for the tepid performance of the team in the first half of the game but are you blaming him for the atrocious referee decisions and the VAR double standards?
Because a bunch of numpties have it in for Carrick, does it mean we are ro excuse these glaring double standard refereeing?
Against Bournmouth there were two glaring penalties that were denied Manchester United. In todays game for the first Leeds goal Yoro is blatantly fouled by Calvert Lewin before the ball is put into the net by Okafor.
For the second goal, Bruno is blatantly fouled in the Leeds half and from the transition Okafor scores again for Leeds.
Then to top it off,a coming together of Martinez and Calvert Lewin is tagged dangerous play and a red card is issued and United are down to 10 men.

However it is convenient to the agenda not to see all these blatant double standard refreeing decisions and blame Michael Carrick as not being good enough.
