Times and Times again I hear people complain about how bad life is and how bad the economy is; even in my neighborhood, people barely say something good like "thank God for this rain" "thank God I'm back" or "the economy is bad but God has been keeping us" we all are bent on looking at the bad side of life.

I want to tell a short story about my friend. He's in his early 20's. He has an elder sister who should be less than 25, he has two younger sisters who should be 18 and 16. Sometime last year, he lost his father, and his mother wasn't working. She was such a quiet woman who. Was barely seen outside; just 2 months ago, they lost her too. They've been left all to themselves, quit school and now working to pay their house rent and train the youngest through secondary school.

Some people are much worse than this. Some people have lost all their relatives, in an attack or an accident, some have survived accidents with just 1 arm left or most part of the body gone.

You don't have a Job, but you can walk around and look for one. You don't have a car, but you can walk, You don't. Have money, but you're alive and not eating from the dust bins. You have a child, but someone out there doesn't have any. You don't have a child, but someone out there is struggling just to live and not even thinking about Employment, the economy, PDP, APC, Buhari, Ministerial list, Money, clothes, food , cars, they just want to survive.

Don't be Greedy. Whatever you have, no matter how little, don't be intimidated by those who you "think" are better. Be grateful to God for the little you have and he'll do more for you.

Also get busy with a job or something else. Try to stay away from nude pictures or indecent movies. Also when you're alone ; mind what you watch and think of.

I've observed different dance patterns in different churches and I've decided to make a brief list of these dance patterns

1. The Calm Dancers:
These are the people that no matter how sweet the song is, they just stand and clap their hands and nod their heads to the rhythm of the song; either unto forming or they are just shy


2. The Prayer Dancers:
These are the people that shake their heads and pray as a form of dancing. They turn songs into prayers and fire the devil with all their might. They no send whether na song or na prayer, They must fire satan.

3. The Off Dancers:
These are the people that dance off point. You go dey hear another song, their body go dey do another thing and they are normally very bold and dem no send

4. The Latest Move Dancers:
These are the people that take different dance steps and bring it to the church. Whether shakiti bobo, or shoki they infuse it into christian songs and dance all the way

5. The Terry G Dancers:
These are the people that don't usually have a particular dance pattern, they just run up and down and shake their heads and body at random. They fit march you in the process , or hit somebodys head , dem still no send

Parsees (A sect in India) used to take their Dead & lay them to rest @ huge 'Wind Towers' (round structures that Look like Giant Water reservoirs, but open to the air)...The Parsees never buried their dead, nor burned them. They leave them to the Birds of Prey (Vultures) to be eaten thus completing the Life Cycle..

My husband was working in a hospital as an IT engineer, as the hospital is planning to set up a database of its patients and he knows some of the doctors quite well. The doctors used to tell him that whenever they have a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL / PARACETAMOL.

In fact, they will turn Herbal Medicine or find other alternatives. This is because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms the liver. According to the doctor: Panadol will remain in the body for at least 5 years.....!!

And according to the doctor, there was an air-hostess who consumed lots of Panadol as she needed to stand all the time and work under lots of pressure. She's now in her early 30's, and she is undergoing kidney cleaning (DIALYSIS) every month.

Whenever we have a headache, that's because it is due to the electron / Ion imbalance in the brain. Some alternative solution to cope with headache is to Drink lots of water.

Another method will be to submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so that it brings the blood pressure down from your throbbing head.

As Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you take, the lesser would be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain). We all will fall ill as we age.

Imagine that we had spent our entire life popping quite a substantial amount of Panadol (Pain Killer), when you need to have a surgery or operation, you will need a much more amount of general anaesthesia.

The thought is scary enough to turn me to Herbal Medicine or other healthier alternative. Value your health, value your life, THINK TWICE before you easily pop that familiar pill into your mouth again.

Please don't take PANADOL always and try to send this e-mail to people you care.

I have a girlfriend. She is 21 while I am 25. She is using Blackberry and iPhone while I am using Nokia torch. I bought the phones for her because I love her so much.

I send 400 naira card to her every day but she doesn't call me. She only flashes me. Whenever we go to a restaurant, I buy her Red wine, Juices and fried rice while I drink only pure water and eat groundnut.

One day, I bought 400 naira card for her. When we were together, she called another guy and told the guy that she loves him and will marry him. When I asked her who she was calling, she said that she was only joking. She has never ever visited my house and she doesn't allow me to visit her house. Whenever I want to hug her, she would shout at me harshly.

What should I do? Should I increase the recharge card I buy for her to 600 naira? Or should I buy another Blackberry phone (N100,000) for her and iPhone6 (N458, 000) for her too?

I know that she loves me very much, but she's just pretending as if she doesn't.

THE National Universities Commission (NUC) has developed new Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards for training of doctors in universities with medical programme now extended to seven years duration. Executive Secretary of NUC, Professor Julius Okojie, presented the reviewed curriculum to the stakeholders at a three-day capacity development programme for staff of medical schools in Nigerian universities. He said the new benchmark minimum academic standard was competency-based and would substantially address most of the challenges faced the institutions in the training of doctors in the country. Okojie noted that those that people trust their lives must be adequately trained and competent to discharge their responsibilities efficiently. He said the workshop was to enable the stakeholders brainstorm as well as fine- tune the draft document. The curriculum review was necessitated by the fact that the frontier of knowledge in all academic disciplines had been advancing with new information generated as a result of research. Other compelling reasons included the need to update the standard and relevance of university education in the country as well as to integrate entrepreneurial studies as essential new platforms that would guarantee all graduates from Nigerian universities the knowledge of appropriate skills, competences and dispositions that would make them globally competitive and capable of contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s socio- economic development. Okojie said: "We must built some good quality hospitals and make facilities available for the students who are coming out with competences and skills to work. No doctor would want to work without equipment. "We are trying to look at it from holistic view. Good learning and teaching environment; good medical centres and the management of resources itself," he said.
