emeraldlife: That phone is piece of waste. I bought it for my mum and decided to test it. The three apps I downloaded and opened crashed the second time.
It will be good for her but coming from that brand feels like money wasted.
Coming from which brand? Which apps were you trying to download that crashed? If you bought a new phone that crashes apps, you should either update the phone, do a factory reset or both.
NeoWanZaeed: Can I use redmi 12 charger (adapter) for 14C
Yes of course, the Redmi 14c supports a maximum of 18W. That 33W charger included in the Redmi 14c box, just take it as a freebie just incase you eventually get a device that supports a faster charging speed.
NeoWanZaeed: I plan on getting Redmi 14C 8gig variant. The rate I'm seeing people putting the phone up for sale at Facebook marketplace is alarming. Front, right, left, center ni you'll see post regarding Redmi 14 C for sale.
This is giving a kinda bad vibe about the phone. Is the phone peculiar to certain issues that warrants reselling ni abi bawo
There's no known issue plaguing the Redmi 14c as far as I know. I believe many people are still ignorant about Xiaomi's naming scheme. Many don't know for instance that getting a Redmi 14c coming from a Redmi note 10 is a downgrade. I even saw a thread here where some persons were insinuating the Redmi note 14 is higher than the Xiaomi 12 the op was trying to sell. The Redmi c series are low end devices, they are the least phones I can recommend. I don’t mean to shade anyone but those are the phones I recommend for our grandparents nowadays. I think some of those trying to offload the phone bought it out of ignorance, that's my point.
dmgr: Is your friend experiencing heating issues of any sort?? The SN 888, from reviews is said to be a powerful SOC but heats up easily. (NB: this is based on other user experience)
Naa, no heating issues. He is not a gamer but on normal usage it's cool. The Mi 11 Ultra is actually equipped with a cooling system so it doesn't suffer as much from the overheating issues the plagued many devices running the SD 888.
Mrluv: Expert in the house someone wants to sell redmi note 10 pro for me 150k does it worth it in 2025??
It depends on what you are after in a phone. Some persons won't be bothered with their phones provided they can do basic tasks on it no matter how long it takes to get them done. Others prefer longer battery life and don't even care about camera or screen quality. Which user are you? What are you priorities?
Note : Add the cost of replacing battery to the 150k.
dmgr: Just keep in mind that there is no longer software update, and the battery life would have deteriorated due to age of the phone. (Charge cycle)
Aside that I think the SD 888, even thou old can still hold up in 2025.
And another vital thing to consider is the price, if you can get it at very good price then go for it, if not look elsewhere.
Very correct about the battery ish. For the software part, I don't think that's an issue personally. But we all have our preferences. I don’t think you are missing out on anything significant running an older software. Still have a Mi max running on Android 7, the battery just recently gave way.
Misterlecturer: Hello guys, is the Mi 11 Ultra still good for use in 2025? I like the phone & I'm thinking of buying it. I'll appreciate your responses.
Depends on you but I will take it over even the unreleased Redmi note 15 pro+ any day! I know of someone who uses it together with a Pixel 9 pro xl. Just ordered for another case for the 11 ultra. You can check this video for a brief camera comparison with the 15 ultra.
TheCeasar: Good evening everyone, I'm having issue on my Redmi note 11. My apps always refresh/restart whenever I open another.
For example yesterday when I tried to logging to my binance, they sent me an email so before I clicked on the Gmail and come back to binance again, the app closes,
Even on Twitter, I can't even use grok to upload a photo because it closes and restart.
Please what can I do to stop the issue?
Turn off miui battery saver plus learn to lock such apps you don't need to restart. Your ram is indeed too small.
genius43: It is that price deception someone will use to be comparing Redmi Note 14 Pro plus and Poco X7 Pro or Poco F7 Pro
Some people go learn the hard way! Sometimes na to leave them to buy wetin dem want. Imagine complaining say Redmi A3x dey hang because you buy am 120k. Imagine Redmi note 9s that was sold for around 85k then, with this current exchange rate na over 270k.
Jarchi: ° Brodaman, Stop it, don't compare a near flagship phone with a high midrange phone. When you see the name Xiaomi alone in the product name, be assured of flagship spec, redmi is midrange. Don't let price fool you. ° ***Jarchi***
udemzyudex: I just switch back to Xiaomi after over 2 years, pls how do I enhance the colour scheme on this Xiaomi 12t Pro for vibrant colour display? I'm currently using this.
Just leave this colour advanced settings and stick to saturated.
