dvkot: there is no downgrade in performance that mediatek chip is a beast if anything it's a better performance Oo, ok, its actually better. Seems you already made up your mind; you have your own preferences, but with that budget, my first option is definately an old flagship device, Xiaomi 12 at least. Second option will be the Poco F5. The performance of the Redmi note 13 pro+ is around the league of the snapdragon 865 in the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 10. |

Entanglement: kerosene is very expensive in our side, is there any other method I can use to clean the air filter apart from kerosene? I have never used kerosene for this once, I use warm water with soap, that's what is written in my manual, it's also written on the air filter cover, you can check yours.

fijiano202: this is not in the manual.....
Manual said wash not dip in engine oil
Why would you dip it in Engine oil when you just washed off Engine oil The oil prevents dirt from getting into the air/ fuel mixture in the carburettor. It's almost useless to have an air filter without oil in it. The screenshot it from Firman USA.

Charley2020: What about the air filter? Do you clean it yourself? How easy is it? Everything is in the manual, just read. To clean just wash with warm water and soap, rinse with warm water then dry. When its completely dried of water, soak it in clean engine oil, squeeze (take note, dont twist it, you'll end up damaging it if you do) out the oil, then put back into the gen. |

Charley2020: I just bought an SPG 3000 Firman generator, and I'm wondering how often people service big generators that have a separate engine oil compartment.
I've only ever owned an "I pass my neighbor" generator (the type that requires a gasoline/engine oil mixture to run), and it needed servicing every 3 weeks when used daily.
Please if you have a generator that has a separate oil compartment, let me know how often you use and service it.
Note: Servicing = opening up the generator and removing the carbon deposits, not changing the oil.
Thanks Read your manual. Since the gen is new, your first time oil change should be more sudden than normal. Some manufacturers require you to do this after using the gen for 40 hours, check yours. After the first change, you can do subsequent change of oil after 60-70 hours, also depends on what you have in your manual. |

oyaskii: Has anyone noticed that, if you are looking for any vid tutorials on Redmi Devices or any general videos on Redmi Devices for that matter recently, on YouTube, it is mostly done by Indian guys who 90% of the time speak in Hindi. I thought my YouTube algorithm was broken, so i even added English to my search query and I still end up with a buttload of hindi tutorials that are practically useless to me.
Is it that, English tech creators do not particularly care for the Redmi brand enough to post vids about them on YouTube or what? India is the number one market for Xiaomi. Secondly, people from Europe still buy Iphones, Samsung phones and Google pixels more than Chinese phones partly because of contracts. Lastly those in the US who use Xiaomi phones had to go through the back door because Xiaomi is not officially in the US. |

Lowlah1623: Hello everyone. Such an amazing thread here. Please I know you may have gotten this question over and over again but please I need advise on a gen to buy, fuel efficient too ooo, preferably 3.5kva,just to carry TV fridge and my thermocool deep freezer. Someone recommend corolla to my hubby and am like, hollup 😒 which one is corolla again?! Abeg has anyone used this? I can't find any reviews. The heat in this Lagos is smh please this is urgent. We have been using this thermocool Gen for over 10 years now but the thing is choping fuel! Economy isn't smiling either. Please I need advise on genuine brands. We once used a fireman ruby line, not sure if it still exists. I can't tag all the handles but abeg🙏. Help a toddler mum. @enochogaga @Gptech @Aieromon @Suco01 @Repairzone @Earthrealm @nwaozzugwor Forget that corolla. Go for Thermocool, Firman or Maxi. Since you are talking about fuel economy, if your freezer is not too big, get a 2.5kva gen instead. |

Mustiboy: A friend of mine wanted to buy the Redmi Note 13 Pro today.
I told him it's a waste of money and that he should look for a used flagship Xiaomi device. I actually helped him look for one.
We finally settled for a 260k Xiaomi Mi 11 from Jiji.
I saved him almost 100k. He has been thanking me since morning, saying the phone looks too good to be true. Damn gorgeous.
My point is, these new midrange phones from Xiaomi aren't worth it given our falling currency. Leave tear-nylon smartphone for people in countries with stable currencies.
Just get yourself a used flagship and enjoy pro-level performance, camera, screen, and build quality.
'nuff said. You try . |

NeoWanZaeed: They're not serious fa. Keeping users in stone age lol Redmi 12 is supposed to be a low end device. Some features have to be stripped off either so the device can run smoothly or to differentiate it from higher devices. I know of some low end Samsung galaxy A series that doesn't have the cast/mirror feature. |

tessy990: Redmi phones are no longer affordable Na the new catch be this for manufacturers. Imagine almost 64K for extra 256gig strorage! 8 gig ram is more than sufficient for that processor. For the extra almost 64k one can get a 1 Terabyte SSD and use as external memory/ backup, there will still be enough change to buy accessories like a good earpiece plus screen protector . Modified: I nr even see the price of the pro+ version. The Poco f5 is obviously a better deal. |

Benjaminy: Alright Boss. Happy new year. Don't mind my New username. It's still benstino. Nairaland was taking too much of my time, so I deleted the account. Now,f2 pro don carry me come.
So, I've already taken the phone to Computer village Abuja, and a technician opened it. He removed and reinserted the power flex, but it didn't power on. I've seen a familiar problem on youtube, and it got fixed through another means. I've sent the link to the guy. Down here, they just seem reluctant or can I say afraid of working on Poco phones. Maybe I'll just keep it aside for anyday I find a technician who's well versed in fixing Poco phones. Most I see online resides in Lagos Oga Benstino, long time oo, happy new year to you too . Sorry for the experience jare, many of those so called engineers are just lazy. |

Benjaminy: Left it to charge overnight. Still didn't help. The indicator was still showing red throughout. Can't Boot to fast mode cos the power button stopped working a long time ago, and I had to use schedule power on for almost a year, though never allowed it to power off Oooo, that power button is needed now. At this point the back cover of the phone has to be opened. I have seen cases like this where just removing the power flex and putting it back solved the issue. You can check YouTube on how to open it up or take it to a technician to help you. After opening the phone , you should be able to turn up the phone by directly pressing on to the power flex. |

Benjaminy: My poco f2 pro shut down and has refused to power on. When I insert a charger,it only shows red on the notification light while the screen is blank. Has never fallen down, didn't come in contact with water. The battery was never faulty and was 45 percent before it shut down. Gone around Abuja and they appear clueless about what might have caused it,even in computer village. I'm just super annoyed Leave it to charge for like an hour. Have you tried to enter into either fastboot or recovery mode? |

haryourdayG: Hi guys, good evening. I found out my Xiaomi 12s ultra that was bought as used is partially rooted. How do I get it unrooted considering the device wasn't fully rooted and it's also preventing me from using some bank apps. Thanks in anticipation of your feedback. Check if magisk is installed to be sure it was rooted using magisk. If that's the case, you will need to flash magisk uninstall. Wait, power off the phone first, then press power button and volume up. You can snap what you see with another phone. This your issue is suppsosed to be treated in the Tweak thread. |

iamoyindamola: How are you enjoying the display I got one yesterday and I am not feeling the resolution for such long phone You got yourself a low end phone with HD display, not full Hd. The display in question is also an average LCD display so dont expect it to be great. One catch oems use to catch customers these days is huge ram and internal memory. |
