One chilled orijin for you bro. This is what most people don't understand; if Ghost isn't dead, they would have just continued with season 7 instead of creating another show for him.
An example was what happened with Michael Scofield in prison break.

To everyone that believes Ghost is in the spinoff, I think you should go check out the meaning of spin-off. A spin-off usually focuses on a secondary character's story which I'm guessing will be Tariq. James can only appear as a ghost or in flashbacks. JAMES ST PATRICK IS DEADER THAN DEAD.

Common sense should tell you that nobody makes a spin-off starring the a lead character from the show they're cutting the story from. Power is already James' story. Why make a spin-off about James again, instead of Power Season 7?

Apart from news report there is no concrete evidence that he is dead and moreover when he was falling after been shot he looked betrayed and he is alive while falling so my best guess is Rodriquez rushed him to the hospital and gave out a fake report that he's dead so the killer won't come after him again

At the end of season 5, I also didn't believe Angela died until season 6 started. If you want to convince me, you need to prove it not just assuming.

I don't understand why they are looking for who shot Ghost when Dre ran into Blanca after she heard the gunshot. Why is Dre not the prime suspect?
I'm also starting to think Ramona shot Ghost because of the conversation she had with Paz. His facial expression after he was shot was screaming 'WHY?', like the person was someone he least expected.
